The SQSQSQ lines in this chapter are scene changes. Just so you understand. It wouldn't let me do any of the under scores on here for scene changes like it did for me on A03. Sorry /
Chapter 5
Before Regina could blink, she appeared in the interior of a black cage. The thick bars that delimited her confined space were made out of peculiar alloy of iron with some other material that she could not identify, but she could sense the magic emanating from them. There were two boys standing by the cage when she and Pan appeared in front of them. Regina wasn't sure how the hell she had ended up in a cage so fast. Pan had magically teleported Regina into the cage before they even materialized in this new location. Regina had only seen that type of powerful magic done by herself as the Evil Queen, or done by her mother back in the days. She had forgotten all about it until now, as she found herself sitting in the cage, such little a space that she couldn't even stand up. She had no choice but to sit. Her joints were already starting to protest.
"I need you two boys to watch her. If Neal and his little friend come close to this camp, I will know. The islands' magic will tell me because I've demanded it to. Once that happens, you'll magically all end up in a new place on the map. I won't let them find Regina until the Savior gets here and she WILL be here. It's just a matter of time!"
Pan then looked at Regina before continuing.
"That's just how powerful I am. This whole island answers only to me, along with everyone on it. Do I make myself clear? So you won't be getting near Henry until I'm done with him. Then you can have him. Or what's left of him anyway!"
Pan then made a little laugh before smiling evilly as Regina looked at him with eyes full of anger, as if all she wanted to do was kill him. She then began to think about what Pan had said.
"What do you mean by *what's left of him*?" asked Regina trying not to show her anguish.
"Oh, you'll soon find out!" said Pan as he disappeared into a cloud of green smoke, leaving only the two lost boys with Regina to stand by and guard her in the cage. The boys looked a little under the age of 10 and 11. They just looked at Regina for a few seconds before looking at each other and then decided to sit on a log about 20 steps from the cage to make sure they'd know if someone was coming.
Regina now began to panic as she started thinking that Pan may very well kill Henry and that just was not going to happen. After all these years of raising Henry, he was all she had left. The only person in all the realms who truly cared for her and she wasn't going to let anyone hurt him. She loved him more than words could say.
Regina tried to magic her way out of the cage but her magic was still not working. She couldn't escape no matter how hard she tried and she definitely tried and tried with no success. The more she tried to use her magic to break free from that cage, the weaker she got. She didn't know what kind of magic the cage was infused with, but whatever kind it was it sure had an adverse effect on her. She had never encountered anything like this before, so she was clueless as to how to counter this dark magic. At some point she even tried kicking the cage to try to break it open but to no avail; neither the bars nor the doors budged. That just jolted her with electricity for trying to kick the cage open. Regina was shocked and after a few minutes, she regained full consciousness.
"What the hell?" Regina said to herself.
The two lost boys noticed Regina trying to escape and only then did they finally decide to speak.
"You'll never get out of there. It is a cage to trap people with magic. It's been used on Tinkerbelle once before. I remember very well." said one of the lost boys. The one that looked around 10.
"Oh yeah? Well I'll find a way out. You obviously don't know what I'm capable of! I'll figure this out one way or another!"
"Except you won't. You can try all you want but you're not going anywhere without Pan letting you out!" said the second lost boy.
Regina then started to get angry. She closed her eyes and tried focusing on her magic. Only as soon as her eyes closed, magic wasn't what came to her mind. It was Emma. All she could think about was Emma. Her heart ached even more now. Emma wasn't here. She was back in Storybrooke. Regina wanted Emma to be here with her. To save Henry with her. To help her figure out this wretched cage's magic and break free.
Regina shook her head to clear her mind from the thought of Emma, only to be thinking about Emma again a few seconds later. It was like a trance had started and she couldn't think of nothing else but Emma. What was this? Why was she thinking of Emma right now? She needed to get out of this cage. Though instead, Regina was now thinking about her feelings for the blonde.
Regina didn't understand it. It was like if this powerful magic just kind of overpowered her mind and all she could do was focus only on Emma and her feelings towards her. She kept thinking of how she and Emma could one day be together, if Emma wanted that too. It got so bad, to the point to where Regina started thinking about one specific past event. The one event that led her to have feelings for the blonde in the first place. The one event that Emma and Regina never spoke about after it happened. It just kinda became a memory that no one but Emma and Regina knew about.

Emma came storming into Regina's office with two root beers, a salad for Regina and a burger with fries for herself.
"Hey I thought you were hungry. I hope you don't mind!"
Regina looked up from her desk, full of stacks of paperwork and saw Emma holding food and drinks.
"Is that a root beer?"
"Two. I got you one. I thought you could use a break!"
Regina smiled a little flirtatiously before continuing.
"Well thank you!"
Emma put the food down on the desk and tried searching for something that could open the root beer bottles.
"Do you have something to open these root beers with?"
"Do I look like I can pry them off with my teeth?" said Regina sarcastically.
Emma just looked at her and smiled knowing by now how sarcastic Regina is. She's gotten used to it especially since Henry wanted her and his other mom to start getting along somehow. Henry had told Emma that he wanted to be one big happy family one day and that included Regina. After all, she was his mom too.
Emma looked in the drawer and right before Regina could stop her from opening the drawer, Emma noticed that Regina had photos of her inside of it. It was just random photos that Sydney must have taken for Regina upon her request. One was of Emma sitting on the bench near the park. The other was of her walking to her job at the sheriffs' office.
"What the hell are these?"
Regina stood up from her seat a little freaked out knowing she had just been caught stalking Emma all this time. Regina didn't understand why she was stalking Emma truthfully. She just wanted to know where the blonde was most of the time and if Henry was with her. She had really cared for Emma at this point. Not like she does now. But Regina didn't know what kind of good excuse she had for having these photos of Emma.
Emma slammed the photos down on the desk she found them in and started walking off. Forgetting all about the food she brought for her and Regina to eat together. Regina had to think fast. She wasn't sure what needed to be done but she was afraid that Henry would find out about the photos and the stalking of Emma and never talk to her again.
Before Regina could think much about it, she grabbed Emma's arm and turned her around to face her. She stared at Emma's eyes for a few seconds before immediately cupping Emma's face and kissing her.
Regina thought that if Emma thinks she liked her romantically then the photos of stalking her whereabouts would make much more sense. Regina still to this day couldn't figure out why she was stalking Emma so much. She just knew she was usually always with Henry, but even when she wasn't with Henry; she still wanted to know where she was at.
As Regina kissed Emma, she was surprised at how Emma cupped her face and kissed her back. Emma deepened the kiss and that's when they started using their tongues. The whole time they were kissing, Regina's heart kept beating faster and faster. She had been in love before, but this felt different. This made her beat so fast to where she wondered if Emma could hear it.
Regina wasn't understanding why she immediately felt this way. Why the sudden change? Was it because Emma kissed her back? She didn't know. But right after the kiss finally ended, after a few minutes of nothing but tongue on tongue, Regina knew then that she had actual feelings for the blonde. This wasn't just some weird phase she was going through in her emotions. This was real. For the first time in years, she felt so alive.

Regina opened her eyes as she came out of her reverie. Still trapped in the cage and without escape.
"What the hell was that all about? Why did it feel like I just lived it all again?" Regina thought to herself all puzzled; taken aback by this vivid memory.
Meanwhile back in Storybrooke, Emma felt that same magic, just like Regina did back in her cage in Neverland. She went into that same memory while unconscious in that hospital bed. Right as Regina got pulled out of the memory, so did Emma and that's when Emma's eyes finally opened.
