Again the SQSQSQSQSQ lines in this chapter are scene changes.

Chapter 10

Emma hit the ground hard while Snow landed right there beside her with a loud thud. They were no longer holding hands. They must've lost their grip on each other as they fell through the portal. Sand and drift were now all over their clothes and skin. Emma stood up immediately and brushed the dirt off of her. Snow did the same.

Not even a few seconds later, uGold and Ariel came through the portal and fell to the ground. The portal then closed up immediately after them and now they were all in Neverland. Gold and Ariel stood up and brushed the dirt off of them as they had also gotten all sandy and dirty from the fall. Though, once they were all dirt and sand free, as much as they could be at least, they then looked at each other to take stock of their actual condition, to make sure they were all right.

Emma looked at Gold and asked him if he'd ever been here before. He told her no. This was his first time being here. Emma wasn't sure if he was telling the truth or lying. With Gold one could never be sure if he was being truthful or deceitful. But either way, she knew he was only here to find Neal and help save Regina and Henry knowing Neal was helping in the rescue.

After a few moments of staring at their surroundings, trying to figure out which way to go, Emma immediately began getting pain in her head, like a huge migraine had been set off, as well as flashes of Regina trapped in the cage. Emma wasn't sure what the hell this was. It was almost as if the magic here in Neverland enhanced Emma's powers. She didn't know. But she knew that what she was seeing,Regina trapped in a cage at this very moment, was a vision of what was happening in real time. She knew this wasn't any kind of manipulation done by Pan. This felt like pure magic. Something that came out of goodness, it wasn't dark magic at all. It was way too intense. She couldn't really explain it, she had never experienced something like this before.

"Emma? What's wrong?" asked Snow, now beginning to worry not knowing what was going on.

"Ahh! God the pain! It hurts so bad! I see flashes of Regina locked in a cage. It looks like she's in this cave. I'm not really sure!"

Gold immediately jumped in.

"You seeing where Regina is in flashes, like the ones you are describing, is a sign of love. True love. Do you wanna tell us something dearie? Exactly how close you and Regina are now?"

Emma just looked up at Gold, still in agony from the pain she was enduring. Her facial expression showed that she wasn't ready to tell anyone about what she and Regina meant to each other. Especially since she didn't really know herself.

In the cage, Regina was just sitting there still trying to find a way to make her magic work to no avail. All of a sudden her head immediately began to hurt, just like Emma's. She also began to have flashes. Only her flashes were of Emma being now on the island. Regina noticed Emma's wound on her shoulder all bandaged up. She knew Emma was here. She didn't understand what was going on or why she was having this massive headache and flashes of Emma. After a few moments of the pain and flashes, they stopped abruptly. The pain went away and now Regina began to curve a wicked smile on her face. If Emma was in Neverland she had a much better chance of getting out of Pan's cursed cage.

"Emma is here! I don't know how but I know she's here!" Regina told the two lost boys who were still guarding the exterior of the cave, where she had just appeared seconds prior to the flashes of Emma. The two lost boys didn't hear Regina. She was too far away from them to be able to actually hear her, since they were outside the cave. Not inside it like Regina was and where sound traveled differently.

Emma's pain now finally vanished, as well as the flashes she got of Regina. She was finally able to breathe calmly again, without the pain, making her feel like she had the worst migraine ever. She then looked up to her mother.

"I know where Regina is!"

Snow now looked confused.

"Sweetie, how do you know where Regina is? You were just bent over in agony from pain and now all of a sudden you are fine and know where Regina is? How is that even possible?"

Gold then jumped immediately into the conversation again.

"True love dearie. You should know!"

Snow looked to Gold not knowing how to respond. She didn't want Emma and Regina together because she didn't fully trust Regina. Yet, if this was really a true love connection that Emma had with Regina, she was going to let it go. For the sake of true love and her daughter's happiness.

"Oh my god I think you're right. You're in love with Regina, aren't you? Is Regina in love with you too?"

Emma then felt a little bit upset. She didn't understand what this was, but she refused to believe that Regina loved her in the same way. She knew Regina liked her more than a friend, but love was a different story. That kiss they shared in Regina's office may have opened up love for Emma, but had it done so for Regina too? Emma wasn't so sure about that. Regina was so hard to read sometimes, her facial expressions could be inscrutable, so Emma couldn't really tell how Regina truly felt towards her.

"Just stop. This isn't a true love connection. Regina never once told me she loved me. Okay? So just stop. Please!"

Snow now looked a little sad. She now knew that this was very new to Emma and Regina. She now knew that they had never officially confessed their feelings for each other. They both hid them pretty well though. She herself didn't even know about it until just now. Right before they came here. Right when Emma began to panic and cry before finding a way here. She knew that if they never confessed their feelings for each other, they would probably end up doing so very soon. Especially if this really was a true love connection like she thought.

"Can you feel a magic pull where Regina is at?" asked Ariel.

Emma didn't respond. She just nodded her head to say yes.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's get going! The faster we find Regina, the faster we can save your son from becoming a lost boy, which is most likely what Pan probably wants!"

"She's right dearie, we need to get going. We can't just stand here. I need to find my son too. I'm hoping we will find them along the way!" said Gold.

Emma just agreed and ushered everyone to follow behind her. The magic pull that Emma felt was extremely strong. She wasn't sure exactly where she was leading everyone but she definitely knew that she had to follow where the magic pull was taking her, especially since she knew it was taking her to Regina.

About 30 minutes of walking along the island, the crew finally ran into Neal and David. Snow immediately jumped into David's arms, kissing him and giving him a tight hug after the kiss finally broke. David obviously returned the kiss and hugged his wife back with just as much excitement as Snow's. He then turned to Emma and smiled at her before giving her a hug. He was so glad and relieved of seeing her recovered after the shot. For a moment he had been scared of losing Emma.

"You're here! You made it! I didn't think I'd see you here so soon, but I'm glad you're here. Did Ariel give you the message we sent her with?"

"She did! We are on our way to rescue Regina now.Emma knows exactly where she is!" said Snow all excited.

That's when Neal finally jumped into the conversation.

"Wait, how? We have a map right here telling us exactly where Regina is. Pan gave it to us, but every time we get close, she magically disappears and gets shifted to a new location on the island. I'm about ready to give up and try to find Henry instead!"

Emma now looked at Neal with anger. Her face began to glare at Neal evilly for a few seconds, as if she couldn't believe he had just said that.

"We are going to rescue Regina first. Then we will ALL find Henry. I have a feeling that this time, Regina won't be moved. I am not sure how I know this, but I just do. It's just a gut feeling I have. Okay? Now follow me. I know where she is!"

Emma then started walking along, but she hadn't gotten to far ahead of everyone, when she heard Neal ask.

"You didn't answer my question. How do you know where she is without this map? Or any map for that matter?"

Emma turned around a little annoyed now.

"Because I can feel her. I feel a magic pull telling me exactly where to go to find her. I got flashes of where she was. She's in this cave inside a black cage. It looks like she can't get out! Now are you going to follow me or not?"

"A magic pull? Flashes? What the hell? You can't have that type of connection with Regina unless…"

It then finally hit him. Emma had feelings for Regina and Regina obviously had feelings for Emma. He knew they were never going to get back together. Even if Emma acted a tad bit jealous when he was once engaged to that backstabbing bitch Tamara. Only this time, he now knew for sure that whatever happened between her and Regina in the last year had begun to form some kind of bond. He just couldn't believe that this bond was with Regina. He'd understand it better if it was happening with Hook, to say the least, but not Regina. He obviously wasn't too happy about this. But nonetheless, he said nothing about his opinions on the matter.

"Oh I see!" said Neal.

Emma then turned her back on everyone without saying a word. She still couldn't believe that everyone kept thinking this was a true love connection. She just didn't understand how. Did Regina really love her like she loved Regina? Emma tried to put that thought out of her mind as she focused on the magic pull and followed it to Regina.
