The Mask
There are masks in the world,
I know many hold them true.
Metal, plastic, veils and glass,
But none as sad as you.
You weir a smile to hide the pain,
The past you will not share,
Hiding behind the feature held so dear,
Without knowing why so played.
What could be done
That could be so wrong
You hide it deep inside,
Leaving us within the dark,
The truth in sea like eyes.
So why can't you let it fall,
The mask that is your smile.
