He was dying.

Xaldin, The Whirlwind Lancer, was dying right infront of his eye.

A leen figure stood on one of the many castle towers, watching the fight between Sora and the Dragon lancer. A snarl appeared on his face, feeling butterflies in his stomach. Clenching a fist, the sniper punched the terrace guard.

"I'm gonna kill you." mumbled Xigbar as the wind passed by, hoping that Number III would live long enough to hear his darkened words.

Almost immediately, the elder Nobody called out from the darkness what seemed to be two gun-like weapons. Clasping it together, it forged into what seemed to be a longer, more accurate version of the firearm. He bent on a knee, clasping the rifle in his arms, aiming it towards the Keyblade bearer. Moving just abit, he had Sora's head in a point-black shot. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, he heard a scream.

A roar, to be precise.

He moved his line of sight from the child towards Xaldin. He moved his head up, watching the fallen Nobody with a naked eye. The winds and darkness blended around the Lancer, absorbing his entire body until... poof.

Xigbar's non-existent heart broke when he saw him disappear.

"You bastard..." muttered Freeshooter, suddenly dropping the rifle that was cradled in his hands. As Sora and the others disappeared from view, Xigbar teleported from the tower down to the stone bridge. He walked over to where the lancer once stood, tapping the ground to see if it was a trick.

It wasn't.

The gravity manipulator stayed silent for a moment, but the silence broke when Xigbar stepped back.

"I'm gonna fucking kill you!" he yelled as he called out his rifle from the darkness, shooting towards the flying gummi ship that escaped into space.

Xigbar stopped, realizing that it was gone. A growl came from his mouth as he slowly disappeared in the darkness.

He was going to kill Sora. But if he died, he wouldn't complain.

Xigbar would end up being with Xaldin in the end.

Note; Xaldin's ending made think think 'what if?'
