Still in the midst of grief for Matthew, Mary's first thought when finding herself in her old red bedroom on the morning of April 15th, 1912 is that she is having a very realistic, but weird dream. But she soon realises that fate gave her an unexpected and impossible second chance - and she is fully determined to use it well.

While the Crawley's deal with the lingering effects of the depression, Robert struggles with Edward VIII decision to abdicate. Meanwhile, Tom struggles with his identity again after the new Irish Constitution. Amidst it all, Sybbie is coming of age. Main parings will be Cobert and Tom/Lucy but some Mary/Henry (because Robert lives with both, and Tom works with both).

Warning! Major character's death! I was fighting with myself for a longer while, wondering whether I should do it or not, but my will to challenge myself as a writer has won. I once promised myself, that I will never write a story about death, but I wanted to check if I can do it, if I'm able to go through such trauma.

Richard Carlisle always seemed slimy so I made him even slimier. Cora lets Richard do whatever he wants to protect her family and Mary.

Matthew didn't get into a car crash on the day of his son's birth. Instead he and Mary enjoy the next chapter of their lives as parents and managing Downton Abbey. First Fic, M rated for a reason.

My view on how Lady Edith Crawley feels because of others and the interactions with her family. Why is it that she feels like an outsider or not wanted by others even if she tries? It's important to let you know that there will be a lot of drama and some heartbreaking stuff. I'm a Cobert fan, but I'll give Edith a chance, as I'm feeling very much like her atm.
