Melody unwired,
Sweep me off my feet,
Shadows beneath me,
Dance to the beat.
Round and round it goes,
A whirlwind of bliss,
I wish it would stop,
One heavy drop amiss.
One more step away,
Footprints etched at bay,
Forgotten in one stroke of a wave.
Memories,
The trees sway in their burden,
Feelings,
The night laughs at the thought,
Crushed,
Life imprints its own accord.
Mourning,
Slashed wrists thinking emo.
