"How come you began to work in a morgue? Why didn't you choose a shop or some kind of office work?"
She turns around. It's raining, and her hair is wet and stick to her face, her mascara was smeared on cheeks. She tears off her sight from a motionless body below, in a ravine and turns around. She's looking at me surprised.
"What kind of office work?"
"Any kind."
She shrugs her shoulders. And she answers, laughs the matter off.
"Maybe, it's my destiny?"

He comes back in the middle of my shift. There's the new body wrapped up in black polythene on the stretcher. He smiles to me with his strange smile. I would tell earlier it is a protective reaction, but … now I'm not so sure.
Something isn't right. Something in him, Jack Harper, isn't right.
"Incoming"
And he leaves. I look at his back and still can't understand.
