I'd just dropped Mokuba off at his friend's house for the night, so I decided to have a walk in the park. In the day time it was a loud, claustrophobic place, but at night it was a great place to walk. Now, you may think that walking in a lonely park, at night is just asking to be attacked by a psycho killer. However, being a six foot tall, fifteen year old millionaire, I wasn't really worried.
Despite saying that, I suddenly heard a twig snap behind me, so I spun round and saw…Joey.
"Hi Seto," Joey mumbled, every so slightly blushing.
For some reason, whenever I was around him, I blushed as well.
"What are you doing her?" he asked.
"Walking," I replied, since that was quite obvious, I decided to expand my answer, "I just dropped Mokuba off at a friend's house and was passing by. You?"
"Me? I was just dropping Serenity off at her friend's house too," Joey replied.
For a while we stood there in an awkward silence. Eventually Joey broke it.
"Wanna go on the swings?" he asked.
This question shocked me a bit and I was about to refuse. I mean, I'm a millionaire, I don't go on swings, but then I thought, Why not? Being with Joey always made me do strange things.
"Ok, bet I can beat you at the jump!" I yelled, and we ran off in the direction of the swings.
"Three, Two, One, JUMP!" Joey yelled. I leapt off the swing and me and Joey landed in a heap on the floor. I quickly leapt up. Joey just rolled onto his back and said, "Hey, come and look at the stars Kaiba."
I lay down cautiously a few inches away from Joey and looked up at the sky.
"Beautiful," I sighed. They were, all those little dots twinkling in the sky.
Hang on a second Seto, I thought, since when were you the kind of guy who said that stars were beautiful?
Why can't I say that? Another voice argued. It felt like there were two people in my head.
You're a business man, the first voice replied.
It's since you met Joey, another voice butted in.
How many people lived in my head?
No it's not, the rather annoying first voice argued.
However, I knew it was true. There was someone who could get past the front I always out on, the business side of me, and that was Joey. I couldn't deny it, so I decided to try and relax.
"Ahhh," I yawned. I was really tired. I glanced at my watch and realised that it was really late. I looked at Joey and saw he was stifling a yawn too.
Don't fall asleep Kaiba, don't fall a…
I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I felt exhausted.
"Morning Joey," I mumbled.
"Morning Seto," he replied, also sitting up.
Hang on a second, morning Joey?
"AGGHHHH!" We both yelled, leaping up. I glanced at our surroundings. We were still in the park!
"OH MY GOD!" Joey yelled, "yes, um, well… I have to collect um… Serenity, yes…"
Mokuba?
"Yes, um… I have to collect Mokuba," I mumbled.
We both stumbled off in different directions. I turned round and called after Joey: "This is NEVER to be mentioned."
"No, right," Joey agreed.
How the heck did that happen? I thought, as I walked off, straightening my jacket, at least no-one saw.
The moment I thought that I heard some sniggering coming from behind the trees, I span round and two people stepped out revealing themselves as…Yami and Malik!
Can life get any worse? Well, obviously it could, because they had cameras!
