"But…But you can't be Rose! You just can't, it's impossible! She's trapped!" the Doctor said frantically.

"It is her. There's no way she isn't," said Jack happily.

"Jack, that's not her and I can prove it."

"Go on then."

The Doctor walked up to "Rose" and looked her in the eyes.

"Okay, 'Rose'. Here are some questions for you. If you answer them all correctly then I'll believe it's you, alright?" he asked.

"Sure," she said.

The Doctor thought a moment.

"Who is my main enemy?"

"The Daleks."

"Name five places we've been together."

"New Earth, Scotland, a ship connected to France, a nameless planet orbiting a black hole, and Torchwood."

"Name ten creatures you've seen."

"Shop window dummies, Slitheens, Cassandra, the Face of Boe, the Ood, the Wire, the Sycorax, Clockwork Droids, the Jagrafess, and an Abzorbaloff."

"Oh, very good." The Doctor said.

He thought again, longer this time.

"When did you first meet Jack?"

"London, 1941. The place with those creepy Gas Mask Zombies."

"Come on, Doctor. This has got to be her right?" Jack asked.

"Hold on Jack. Just two more questions." the Doctor replied.

"Okay, then." said "Rose".

"What was the first word I ever said to you?"he asked.

"'Run'." she replied.

"What was the last thing I ever said to you?"

"'I love you'"

The Doctor's expression turned grim. Jack looked from the Doctor to "Rose" and back again, utterly confused.

"I knew it was too good to be true." he said sadly.

"What do you mean?" asked Jack.

"The last thing I ever said to Rose was her name. Who are you?"

The Doctor turned to the woman.

"Rose Tyler."

"What are you?"

"A human."

"YOU are not a human and you are DEFINITELY not Rose Tyler! Now tell me WHO YOU ARE!!" the Doctor shouted angrily at her.

Jack reached out to touch the woman but got nothing. She was a hologram.
