Quick A/N: okay funny story, well not really, I pretty much wrote up the whole next chapter and then I was like hmm that comes after this chapter and if I ever finish the chapter I have a WAY better Edward POV chapter coming in Mondays so without further ado…

EPOV

James banged through the door with Bella moving gracefully behind her. They were arguing, but they were so quiet I couldn't make out what they were heatedly discussing.

The two kept it up as they went up the stairs oblivious to the rest of the world, and with every stair they climbed they got louder. I could finally understand what they were saying when they were going down the hallway to James's room.

"Why?" Bella asked about God, excuse me, Pickle knows what.

"Because, I don't need to tell you everything!" James fired back. Apparently we hadn't escaped the teen angst like we originally thought; then again, no kid is perfect.

"Yes, you do! I am your mom and I promised I would do my best to raise you right!" Bella really had been trying her best, and worrying everyday that she was going to mess up and I was surprised that Bella was doing so good at being a bad cop. I finally decided to fulfill my parental duties and went to back up Bella.

"Fine!" James finally yelled back. "You want to know why I'm acting so weird? I got so drunk at a frat part that I had sex and forgot all about it! Oh wait," Sarcasm is never great when mixed with shouting, "Let me correct myself! I got drunk at a frat party, and had unprotected sex, and didn't remember until now!" Most of us just stood there stunned because James was not one for parties, and ever less for sex.

"Well, at least you're not pregnant. I mean hey, what's an STD going to mean in six months?" James took one exasperated look at Emmett turned around and slammed her door and locked it.

"Oh shit!" Yes Emmet, oh shit; I really hope James did not mean with that look what I thought she meant. Thank god no one can read my mind, because that would be embarrassing. The whole family just stood there until finally Esme had the sense to knock on the door.

"James dear, can you please let me in?" We couldn't hear her muffled reply though I'm sure it was colorful.

"Come on! Open the door!" Four vampires were banging on the door and it was still perfect; I don't think a nuclear bomb could bring it down, not that I would ever try.

Bella, Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper had been trying for the past couple of hours to break down the door to no avail. In that time Carlisle had come home, and not even his level-headed arguing (Carlisle was the only one talking) could make her come out. Now only Bella was still banging.

"Why did you have to get the walls and door reinforced?" Bella questioned as she turned on me.

"Well I thought we had learned out lesson after Alice, Emmett, and Rosalie," I replied lamely.

"We learned out lesson alright," Bella mumbled under her breath.

"Oh crap." The only reason I hadn't been worried about James staying in her room was that I knew she had to eat sometime, but I had finally remembered another lesson we had learned.

"What?" Bella looked like she was about to kill somebody if they didn't open a door, and another someone if they didn't give her good news.

"Bella dear, do you remember that other lesson we learned?" Bella's lovely pale face went even whiter. We were both thinking about the only other time James had locked herself in her room (though that time we were able to break down the door). James had gone downstairs to get breakfast, and being the only person in the family without super hearing (and only one of three people home) walked right into one of Rosalie and Emmett's well you get the picture. In the end James demanded that she get her own just-in-case mini-kitchen, a new door, and that we refurnish the whole living room because, in her words, while the living is for living, you two shouldn't be using it to try to create life.

"I am going to kill them!" Bella rushed away to kill Emmett and Rosalie, at least I hope.

"James," I said, taking over Bella's job, "Will you please come out, your mom is about to commit murder." I didn't hear a reply though I did hear Esme's cell phone start ringing. After talking on her phone for a minute or two Esme went outside, and brought her car around to the front, then she left it on right in front of the house.

"Edward, I'll take it from here." Esme was pushing me towards the room I share with Bella.

"Okay, thank Esme." I looked at her suspiciously, but her mind gave nothing away, so I went into my room. As I was looking for a good CD to listen to I heard a door get thrown open. Unfortunately, by the time I went to investigate James and Esme were already a blur going out the front door, and by the time I got there, they were almost to the road, so I just decided to let them go.

I trudged back up the stairs wondering how Bella was going to punish me for letting them get away, and as I went past James human-less room I saw something small and hot pink. When I got closer I saw it was a post-it note.

I thought that by saying it was a frat party that would indicate there were a lot of horny drunk men. Be back in a few days.

Well she wasn't the first girl in my life to run away and only leave a note, and no one could ever say life with James was boring.

A/N: Wow, I finally realized that James should not have been able to hear anything because her room would have been sound proof, I think, oh never mind. Also I think this really sucked but oh well we all know I suck at being serious, that's why I'm here, to work on it. Okay so like thanks to everyone here who reads my stories!!!! Seriously I had over 250 emails in my trash because of you guys!!!! YAY!!! Okay that sounded bad but it's a good thing, really!!! Oh and I think I might post the other chapter today or tomorrow depending on how much computer time I get here. Okay that was long so bye.
