Damn it all to hell! I hated living here. I swear once I left for college, I was never coming back.

I hated all the people here. And it looks like they all hated me back. I was done.

Only a few more weeks until graduation. And then I would be gone for good.

My parents could come to me if they wanted to see me. I was done with the town gossip and busybodies. Done.

I couldn't take any more fake friendships or lies.

My so-called friend, Tanya, was going to the prom with my crush, Edward.

She knew I had had a thing for him since we were eleven, yet there she was going to prom with him.

I should've known that they'd only ever see me as an awkward geek that has a breathing problem, and clutz.

"Bella! Hey, I need to talk to you." Mike said as he tried to follow me through the crowded hallway.

I ignored Mike and his attempts to ask me to prom, for the umpteenth time this month, as I rushed down the hall, and out of the building, not caring that it was raining.

I made my way towards my decrepit old truck, climbed in, and left without a look back.

I knew I didn't want to be bothered by anyone after the day I had to, so I drove out to the Olympic National Park.

Called my mom to tell her where I was going to be, and then left the phone on the seat next to me and continued to drive.

I played an old CD my mother gave me, slowly feeling the tension I felt in my shoulders ease away.

As I reached the beach, I quickly found a place to park, fairly close to the beach.

I slowly made my way towards the beach, ignoring the small piece, and took my shoes off, before making my way towards the rock I always sat on.

As I sat there, I heard another car pull up. I sighed and ignored whoever was coming as I stared blankly at the water.

"What happened, hon?" My dad asked as I sat on the sand.

I wiped my face as I shook my head in response, "I want to leave here." I whispered.

He sighed, "Graduation is only two weeks away, hon." He reminds me.

"I know but I'm tired of being made fun of. I don't want to put up with it anymore." I mumbled.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked.

I nodded, "I finished my credits already, I'm no longer learning anything. Finals were taken already too, we're basically just reviewing." I told him.

He sighed, "I'll talk to your Mom and see if I can arrange some time off. Your Uncle Phil and Aunt Sarah live in Seattle, I'm sure we can arrange something." He told me.

I felt a smile pull at my lips as I looked up at him. "Really?" I asked.

"Of course, princess. You shouldn't have to put up with shit from people who don't amount to anything. Not while I have the power to change that." He told me.

I nodded, "Are you sure, daddy?" I asked.

He nodded, giving me a sad smile. "Of course, pumpkin." He told me, as he hugged me, pulling me to his side. "Now all I have to do is tell Mom, which I will. Don't worry about this anymore." He added.

I nodded, "Okay." I whispered.

"Now, it's about to rain, what do ya say we head home and eat something." He told me.

I nodded as I got up and followed him off the beach.

"Now, you drive home, and don't ya stop anywhere." He told me.

"I won't," I replied as I got into the driver's seat.

The entire ride I thought about it, briefly wondering if this was the correct decision, but it stopped when I thought about all the things that had happened the past few weeks.

I was tired of being made fun of, tired of acting like I was okay when I wasn't, but most of all I was tired of being pushed aside.

Leaving would be a good thing. I had an early admission to Seattle State. And I had all my credits, and I never missed a day, so I didn't need to be present anymore.

When we got home, my dad led me into the house as another car pulled in.

"Bella, get in the house." My dad said.

I nodded, rushing into the house and slamming the door behind me.

My mom immediately rushed downstairs to see who had come in.

I didn't get a chance to speak because my dad walked in a moment later, and proceeded to tell us the plans for this upcoming weekend.

My mom fully agreed, and she immediately called the school to explain the situation to make the arrangements.

It was done.
