Following his departure, Jasper and Emmett called to check on me, and invited me over for a barbeque.

While I was hesitant to go at first, I felt my need to be hesitant, thankfully unneeded, however, when I got there.

Edward's parents, and family were there, and immediately made me feel welcome and at home.

From there on only friendships and bonds began to be established.

Immediately making plans to do a movie night every other weekend. Which helped me with my sleeping problems.

The next few months felt like an eternity.

At first, I spent most of my time taking as many shifts as possible until Jessica put her foot down and sent me home after going four days without sleep.

Then it was unanimously decided that Alice, Jess, Rose and Marnie would check on me each day to make sure I was getting enough sleep.

It worked, for a while, and then Edward called me, via video call, and I sort of spiraled.

I was fine, I just couldn't sleep.

When he found out about this, he grew concerned and called his parents. Bringing us to the incident.

I fell asleep while driving, and crashed my car. While there wasn't a lot of damage besides wrecking my car, and a broken arm. Everyone was really worried about me.

Queue Edward calling me and begging me to move to a place closer to his parents house. In Hoquiam. For my safety.

While I was adamant at first, though, I eventually gave in after hearing his reasoning and weighing in my pros and cons. Resigning from my position in the hospital, shortly after, and applying for one in Hoquiam, where his dad worked.

Our friends and his family came to help me pack everything up and head down to the house he had bought, neglecting to tell me until after I was there.

I didn't have the energy to be angry so I began to organize the house and furniture.

A few weeks later, I had finally managed to get the house nicely organized.

Two Years Later:

I bit my lip, bouncing on the balls of my feet as I tried to see over the throng of people that passed in front of us.

"Relax, Bella, his flight is supposed to arrive sometime after three." Alice told me as I strained to look again.

Emmett chuckled as he moved silently behind me and lifted me onto his shoulders.

I squeaked in surprise, digging my fingers into his hair as Rosalie rolled her eyes at him, "Don't drop her or Edward will kick your ass. He's not as lanky as he used to be, so he can and will kick your ass easily." She warned him.

"That only happened once. And it was accidental, I would never drop my little sis on purpose." He mumbled as I laughed and patted his hair, as I relaxed slightly.

"I think they'll be here soon, darlin'." Jasper told me, as he made his way back from the information desk.

I nodded as we started seeing the first few soldiers move through the throng of people.

Rosalie and Alice quickly lifted the signs we made two nights prior as Emmett set me down.

The moment my eyes saw him I took off in a dead sprint.

Nothing else mattered besides being in his arms.

He saw me running and dropped his bag on the floor, running towards me too.

I flew into his arms the moment he was in front of me, wrapping my legs around his waist as he caught me.

"Did you miss me, love?" He asked.

I nodded, burying my face into his neck as I felt the tears spring into my eyes. "Very much." I mumbled into his neck.

"I did too, sweetheart. Now, what do you say we head home?" He asked me.

I nodded, "Yes please." I mumbled.

We spent the next few days locked in our own little bubble, basking in on the feeling of having him home.

He had been home for two days when he asked me if it would be alright to sleep in the same room, because he wanted to make sure I was sleeping okay. Which I agreed was alright.

When I walked into his room the next day, I found that he had rearranged the furniture to make it into a library slash painting room.

The room was big enough that his small baby grand fit near the other corner of the room, while my painting equipment and supplies were on the other side of the room.

He fixed the shelves with both our books, leaving the top shelf for two familiar bunnies.

"I thought I'd misplaced that." I commented amused as I saw Willow and Peter sitting at the top.

"I found her as I was looking through our boxes in the garage." He told me.

I nodded, before smiling as I noticed the old picture of our group in highschool sitting there.

When I turned around he was down on one knee, a black velvet box in his hand.

"Isabella Marie Swan, I give you all of me forever, can I have all of you?" He asked.

I bit my lip before nodding as his face broke into a large smile. "Yes." I gasped as he slid the ring into my finger.

As he stood up he picked me up and spun me around, causing me to squeal as we heard laughing and clapping.

"Thank you." I whispered as he placed his forehead on mine.

"For what?" He asked, a small smile pulling at his lips.

"For helping me find something I didn't know I needed. For finding what I didn't know was lost." I whispered.

"You're welcome. I'm sorry that it took so long." He told me.

I shook my head at him. "You arrived just in time, my love. You always do." I replied, as I pecked his lips.

The End.
