Esmeralda looked up from her worn out and raggedy converses. "Sir?"

"You have revealed much of the Veritas Knowledge to the commoner Quill Williams. Your answer?"

"I acknowledge this as…true."

"You are aware of the recent ritualistic murders?"

"Yes, Sir."

"You are aware of who is responsible?"

"Yes, Sir. It is the commoner, Quill Williams."

"You are aware of what he plans to do?"

"Yes, Sir."

"You are aware of the gravity of this case?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Because you are the one that revealed the Veritas to the commoner, Quill Williams, you are responsible for his every action. Do you agree?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Are you aware of the penalty of failure?"

"Banishment from the clan and the removal of my Veritas Knowledge."

"Then you will stop the commoner without fail on pain of the ultimate penalty?"

"Or so help me Truth."

"Goodbye, Esmeralda. Good luck."

"Thank you, Father. I will not fail."
