It had been almost a day since his "little" spaz out, and Sasuke along with his teammates were walking to the bridge for a meeting. They hadn't actually talked about the mirror incident and Sasuke hadn't seemed to want to talk about it.

When they arrived at their bridge, they were surprised to find Kakashi waiting for them.

"YOU'RE LATE!" The man yelled at Naruto and Sakura. It felt good to be able to get them back after all those months they had spent yelling at his tardiness.

"No, we're not." Sasuke answered in an emotionless tone.

"Yeah Sensei, you're just early." Sakura agreed.

"I…am?" Kakashi looked down at his watch. "But its 9:30. See?" He rubbed his wrist in their faces.

"You must have forgotten to set your clocks back an hour. It's daylight savings."

"Damn." Their teacher mumbled. "So, where were you three yesterday?"

"What?" Naruto asked.

"Yesterday, you guys never showed up. Where were you?"

"We were all at my house." Sakura answered.

"Really?" The masked man looked at his students. Naruto was watching specks of dust fly threw the air, Sakura was looking around nervously, and Sasuke was glaring at the ground. "I passed by Sakura's house this morning. It looked a mess; it was nearly a pile of rubble. What happened?"

Without looking up from the ground, Sasuke shifted his weight from one foot to the other. Then he spoke.

"That's kind of my fault." The Uchiha admitted but wasn't willing to take to take full responsibility. Kakashi leaned forward, indicating that the boy had his full attention.

"I'm listening."

"I…uh. I saw my reflection."

"…"

"Kakashi-sensei," Sakura tried to help the boy. "Remember yesterday, when Naruto asked us why girls like Sasuke-kun so much."

"Yeah."

"Um well, after you guys told me, I went to talk to Sasuke." Naruto continued for Sakura. "It turned out he didn't know either."

"Oh really?!"

"There are no mirrors in my house anymore. They were all broken years ago and I never got around to replacing them."

"So I took him to Sakura's house. Since she's a girl and all, I figured that maybe she had a full length mirror."

"She did and she let me look at myself. I didn't realize just how much I resembled…him."

"Your brother?"

"Yeah. And I guess it didn't help that Sakura-chan's mirror was on the back of her door."

"It kind of surprised him."

"I thought he had come back."

"So he attacked her mirror."

"When it shattered I thought that I was trapped in an illusion."

"So he destroyed Sakura-chan's house trying to break free."

"It wasn't that bad. Since we live in a ninja village and are prone to attacks, we had insurance."

"So you…attacked…yourself?" Kakashi was trying and failing to hold back a laugh.

"Hn." He gave his famous monosyllabic yet multi-meaning response. When he did, the jounin lost it and started laughing uncontrollably. He soon lost his balance and fell off the bridge and into the water below.

The genin looked over the railing and down at their crazy teacher. Kakashi stood up, still chuckling. They noticed that his mask had fallen down, revealing his face. The man froze when he looked down into the river, his watery reflection looking back at him.

"Daddy?!"

'Shit'
