Naruto's in the psycho ward
and when I visit, I glance toward
the other patients twisted faces,
quaking fingers,
frightened eyes,
wishing I could somehow get him out of here.
Then Naruto starts to scream at Kakashi-san
telling him how much he hates him,
begging him to stop the voices
chattering inside his skull.
I'm felling sick,
the air's too thick…
Suddenly I'm out side
Narutos screams chasing me,
right behind me
lurching at my back
reminding me
any of us could have been the one.
