A talking, happy-go-lucky giraffe swaps places with Effie just before the 74th Hunger Games, Freaky-Friday style. Oblivious to Panem's way of life, she unknowingly interferes with the Games' events, then busts 4 tributes out of the arena. With the authorities looking for them, the giraffe must now get the tributes to safety—but first she'll have to help them trust each other.

Another year, another Games. Another group of tributes will lose their lives to the Capitol. But one, one will be welcomed back with open arms. [SYOT CLOSED]

Another Hunger Game is upon us, but this one is not like the rest. With a surgeon, an alcoholic, and a set of conjoined twins among our cast of tributes, these Games will be like none you've seen before.

"Finnick and Taiya have kept up with their training more than any other tribute," Haymitch said shaking his head. "They'd both kill and die for each other. I'm serious Katniss, do not cross them. She's actually a very lovely young lady, friends with just about every victor there is, she'll be last on their kill list."

It's cold in the Arena. Twenty-four go in. A sister, a brother. A star, a mistake. A mute, a singer. A psychopath, a wisher. An angel, a mother, a liar. All marked for death even if they survive, like many before, and many after. There's so many stories, so let's start with just a few. Let the Games begin.

"Are there any volunteers?" Pomponia said, the boredom in her voice obvious. She knew, from her years of being the escort for District Six, that there wouldn't be. She was wrong. "I volunteer." Iris would be the only one to choose her fate. **** She was more than just a Morphling, once.
