A/N: I don't usually do this kind of thing, but it was a school project, and I wanted to know what others thought. Basicly, I worked with my friend Bethany on a parody of "The Raven." We only had to use three stanzas, the first, the last, and one from the middle. We chose stanza 16. So, let me know what you think!

"The Squirrel"

Once upon a daytime park, a flying squirrel began to bark

With demonic fangs and horns she has, 'twas gray and furry.

As she sat there, watching, waiting. She chose a child roller-skating

As victim of her gaze, never abating, start then her scurry.

Ah, so she ran o'er to that child, her horns gleaming in her hurry.

Harming none, not to worry.

"Demon!" cried child, "Tempter flume—demon possessed Squirrel of Doom!"

The Squirrel advanced, in entr'acte flight, child, screeching, ran through the flurry.

"Help! Help!" child cried. "Can't thee see the Demon? Can't thee run? Go and hide!"

The people stood there horrified; the Squirrel continued her scurry.

People standing there horrified; the Squirrel proceeded her scurry.

And quoth the Squirrel, "Missouri."

And so that Squirrel remains there, in the fresh air, in the fresh air.

Hiding behind leaves of tree, throughout the hurry and the flurry.

And her eyes will stay red glowing, with an avoidance of mowing,

With the wind and is blowing, throwing the leaves into Missouri,

And the Squirrel from in those leaves flying into Missouri,

Shall be chased my Mrs. Curry.

A/N: Okay, Mrs. Curry is a 6th grade reading teacher, and me and Beth both had her. It fit, but barley. There are two lines that the syllables don't match up. I dare you to figure out which ones they are. -cackles-
