"I don't get why Sasuke doesn't like me…" Karin said out loud as she walked away from Sasuke, who had just rejected her again.
She looked up into the sky, trees towering above her and rain heading straight down.
Suddenly, she felt a ting in her Chakra flow. She ignored it; simply thinking it was the rain.
But then it happened again. And again, and again, and again.
A man jumped out from behind her. He had completely concealed himself, so it was a surprise. Of course she had her guard down, which made her vulnerable.
The first thing she noted about the man was that he wore the Akatsuki cape Sasuke had described. She tried to call out to Sasuke, but his hand covered her mouth. The next thing she noticed was he wore a mask that only had one eyehole. Then the bolts on his armor underneath the robe. Finally, the spiky hair. And then a ting.
Karin was a medical ninja, and she had the ability to recognize Chakra from a distance.
That ting is what told her that she had recognized the concealed Chakra.
She had met this man before.
And he looked so much like…. "T…. t…obi…to" She said, her teeth chattering from the cold while she said his name.
"Oh, what do you know? She knows my name!" He said in a familiar voice.
All of a sudden, all of Orochimaru's painful experiments were remembered. She became a new person, literally. Her body had a new identity. She was crueler. She had a new name.
"Rin" She said, forgetting the first part of her name.
But what she didn't realize is that 'Rin' was her name.
After the man who had tackled her heard that name, he stood up and brushed himself off.
"You're kidding!" He said.
Then he removed his mask. A side of his face was covered in black cloth. The one revealed eye was red and swirling. Just like Sasuke's Sharingan. A smile graced his lips.
Memories flooded back. Her last moments before her kidnapping were suddenly remembered.
"KAKASHI!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, earning plugged ears from the Sharingan user who seemed so similar to her old teammate.
"Oh, so you remember Sempai too?" He said.
Kakashi heard his name in a faint whisper. But it was sure; someone had just screamed his name.
"Pakkun!" He said. The Ninja dog turned, and Kakashi referred to the direction of the noise, which wasn't far away.
They jumped through the trees quickly, wanting to find their destination. They saw a clearing up ahead. In it, Kakashi saw the black robe with red clouds. He stopped, and his within the leaves of the tree that supported him. He needed to get an idea of what was happening before he got any further.
The other person in the clearing was a girl who was aging. Seriously, she was gaining years in seconds. She went about 15 years in a half minute.
The moment he realized who the girl resembled, he fell out of the tree.
Obito looked away from whom he assumed was Rin, the girl who was in his team. The girl he had had a crush on for all those years, not even knowing where she was. He directed his attention to where a crashing sound was heard.
He walked over and immediately recognized the masked, silver haired man.
"Sempai! You are alive!" Yelled Obito.
"Obito…?" Said Rin and Kakashi in unison.
"Aw shit. I'm supposed to be Tobi. But yeah…" Obito said.
"Kakashi?" Rin said with Obito.
"This is just to weird…. Is that really you, Rin?" He asked.
"Of course! Who else is she?" Obito asked loudly. Rin just nodded.
