INTIMATE MOMENT

By Derek Andrew Sharp

SHIPPER: Clark/Lois

RATED: PG-13

Set During "Kara"

"How many times do I have to tell you I'm fine, Smallville?" Lois said, rubbing her head, despite the fact that she was very much in pain from the sudden impact of force brought from what she could only assume was the heaven's above trying to assualt her and stop her from getting to the bottom of the ship, that seemed to have appeared from the dam's remains.

"I really can't believe you, Lois," Clark returns, his hands shifting the steering wheel slightly, watching the seemingly empty stalks of corn pass them by.

"What the hell is your problem?" Lois blurts out, looking at Clark clearly pissed. "I'm FINE!"

Clark shakes his head for a second before turning to fully scan Lois over with his X-ray vision for the second time in the past five minutes. But it's a brief moment that seems to be something more, almost seemingly freezing time as he lowers his head slightly and willingly scans her body. Pulling back her layers of clothing, seeing her cleavage for the first time in what seems forever. Mentally, Clark freezes when he thinks about Lois' cleavage. Was he really looking at her cleavage?

"Clark! SMALLVILLE!" Lois shouts breaking him out of his gaze.

"What?" Clark asks, coming completely out of his daze, looking back to the road. Lois' cleavage still on his mind.

"What were you looking at?" Lois asks her voice, a little pissed off, yet, calm.

"I wasn't looking anywhere..." Clark says looking back at the road, trying his best to attempt to cover himself.

"Oh please Clark," Lois returns, rolling her eyes. "Don't act like you weren't looking."

"I wasn't," Clark says stumbling with his words.

"Uh huh, yeah," Lois says laughing at him a bit. "I've seen that look before. You don't live around soldiers most of your life, without getting that look at least twenty times a day from the start of puberty on."

"What look?" Clark returns, his voice attempting to get calmer.

"Don't act like you weren't looking at my breasts," Lois says leaning back into the seat. "You've been checking me out since you first saw me in that bikini a few years back."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Clark says, pulling the car over.

"Just it admit it Smallville. You've been checking me out," Lois says it with a smile forming on her face, clearly proud of herself for the deduction.

Clark takes a moment considering his situation. On one hand, he knows Lois may lecture him or on the other he maybe taking a chance. He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and looks back at her.

"I have," he returns, his voice low.

"Say again, Smallville?" Lois asks clearly taking charge of the conversation.

Clark gulps before restating his intentions. "I have."

"Good boy," Lois says leaning over and kissing his cheek gently. "If you want a real kiss, you're going to have to work towards it and be a good boy." Lois takes a moment, looking at Clark from outside before slamming the truck door.

Clark takes a moment still in a daze after being kissed on the cheek. Something small, yet, so intimate.

"Earth to Clark!" Lois shouts. "Didn't you hear a thing I said?"

"Yeah, loud and clear," Clark says jumping out of the truck at attention.

"If not let me repeat myself in a different manner for you. If you want another kiss, you're going to have to work hard for it," Lois said playfully. "Either that or you can chase me to this site and then get a reward." She raises her brows playfully before taking off, running. Clark taking a moment to smile and then slowly at human speed, attempt to catch up with her.
