Prompt #100: Shelter from the Storm by Bob Dylan [SVU Love in the Air]

This story takes place during and directly after the events of 21x10 "Must Be Held Accountable" What if Rollins Kidnapping/ordeal with Bucci led to Rollins and Carisi starting a relationship earlier in the SVU timeline. Disclaimer: The dialogue between Rollins and Bucci was not written by me. They are the words of the SVU writers and all credit goes to them.

Olivia gets greenlit by BX9 and sends Noah inside to get help from the doorman and to go upstairs and get her husband. The fall out brings up past wounds and Olivia is only thankful to have the love and support from the man who has been with her through it all. However, out of tragic events, hope can spring up and bring about new possibilities. Timelines are a little warped.

They were at opposite ends of the legal spectrum for years until she saw a different side of him - the side that came about when he helped her adopt her son. Set in an alternate universe during season 11/12 era. Rightfully so because it IS their married era! Olivia is a newly divorced single mother of one little girl, and Elliot Stabler is widowed single father of a little girl too.
