Horace Slughorn has been cornered by the notorious death eater, Corban Yaxley, in his own home, likely an attempt by Lord Voldemort to recruit his old potions professor. Slughorn flees for over a year before being found by Dumbledore and Harry. This story follows his travels and is meant to run concurrently with the canon story books - approximately Start of OOTP to start of HBP.
