Soccer Field Bleachers

Sam sat on the cold, wet bleachers wishing she wasn't there. For some reason, her friends told her she just had to go. So, here she was. She hadn't thought about the cold, so she didn't have a jacket. She got up and headed over to the concessions stand and hunched over to hide from the cold. The game just ended so they were starting to pack up and she asked for ginger ale. As she was waiting someone came from behind her and covered her eyes. "Guess who." the voice said. She shook her head; really not knowing who. He uncovered her eyes and turned her around. It was Cam. He had just finished his game and was still basking over their victory. Sam raised one eyebrow, wondering what the heck he was doing in front of her. He slipped his leather jacket around her shoulders and smiled shyly, well he was sweet. He took her small, cold hand in his bigger warm one and led her over to an empty section. She sat down and looked up at him curiously. He looked nervous. "Ok, well here's the thing," he started pacing back and forth. "I like you, Sam. A lot." Wow, that's not what she was expecting. "But. Um. Okay?" How was she supposed to respond to that?! He cleared his throat and peered at her. She leaned forward slowly and kissed him full on the lips. He was caught off guard but found himself quickly. Somehow, Sam got lost in the moment. She never really thought of Cam that way, and she didn't want to lead him on. But, it was irresistible. Sam pulled away and looked at him. He smiled. Then, Sam looked over his shoulder and locked eyes with a scowling Claire. This could get interesting.
