The brotherhood invaders from the east and the displaced western tribals have made holding Chicago into nothing more than a wasteland fantasy, conjured by the countless dead and abandoned masses. When the scholars of the future write about the Last Dragonborn, Kravos Redwind, they likely write about his slaying of Alduin the World-Eater or his culling of the Forsworn or one of his many other claims to fame. There is no sole survivor instead their is Liberator a pre-war ghoul and veteran of anchorage and Cody Mason the last of the Youth Battalion and last Minutemen child soldier. Under Liberator the Minutemen will mechanize and thrive however Corneria needs help the Minutemen will fight for more than the Commonwealth they will for the whole galaxy.

With Mr. House overthrown, the NCR and Legion driven out, and the Mojave unified into an independent nation, the Courier can finally enjoy peace... or at least that was the plan before a Think Tank experiment sent him to a new world, one filled with strange mutants. Another story that I'm writing on QQ and posting here as well so that I have a backup. It's a tech version of Magical Multiverse Mayhem and should be a fun read.
