1# Snow
Cloud's mako eyes where glowing more then normal, one snowy morning. Cloud Strife had never seen snow in his life until now. He had always heard bad things about, how cold it was, that it was painful if someone chucked it at you, but he still couldn't believe his eyes. It was a beautiful sight. The whole town was covered in a pure white glow. How could people possibly see the bad side of it?
"Cloud?" Aeris asked, Cloud was sitting in the lounge area just gazing at the snow falling from the heavens.
"..Yeah?" He said startled, he never even heard anyone come down the stairs, never mind speak. Aeris, was wearing a long pink woolly coat, with matching pink scarf.
"You, coming to see the snow?" She giggled, while walking to the hotel door.
"Maybe. Isn't it cold?" He replied, dorky like.
"You've never seen snow right?" She laughed even harder. How could he of not seen snow?
"It's not that funny..." His cheeks where now bright scarlet, he tilted his head trying to hide his embarrassment.
"Come on then!" She said grabbing his hand, and pulling him from the chair. Cloud was already wrapped up for the cold, as he thought it was cold in doors. He had a thick black jumper on as well as a long black coat.
The snow was even more perfect from outside, it was untouched and no ones foot prints was even embedded in the soft blanket. Aeris was already searching for snowdrops, near a tree, spotting one straight away. It seemed as though the snow had just stopped falling hard, but began to fall soft. Cloud walked over to Aeris, to see what she was actually doing.
"Do you know much about snowflakes?" She asked seriously, while turning around to face Cloud. He nodded, his head again causing his face to flush again.
"Every snowflake has a different pattern. Making them unique from one another." She smiled, while her emerald eyes glimmered.
"Just like people."
"I never knew that..." Cloud smiled,
"Not many people do. Oh..!" She laughed while bending over, and picking the snowdrops from under the tree. "Here a present" She held it out in her hand in Cloud's direction. "Snowdrops, are very rare. They only bloom in the winter, and hardly ever survive because of the harshness of the cold. I suppose your like a snowdrop Cloud." She giggled, after Cloud took it from her hand, she began to walk back into the hotel.
"And why's that?" He asked concentring on her distance face.
"Because, they're rare and won't give up. Even when all seems lost." She smiled, and opened the Hotel door.
Cloud was left rather confused, was Aeris actually being serious for once? Or was she joking in her flirtous ways? Either way it seemed to effect Cloud, because even if the snow landed on his cheeks it would melt away.
