The death of Fang

Warning! Warning! If you love Fang it's probably not a good idea too read this. If your just a regular fan well go ahead but keep in mind it is not my fault. I wrote this listening to the song Guardian Angel by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and a new idea formed in my pea-sized toucan brain. If you have that particular song you might like to listen to it while reading to understand the full meaning behind my story.

Fang's POV

"Ahhhhhh!! Fang!!" Max yelled racing away from me. "Wait I'm sorry please!" She begged.

I simply pushed my wings down harder speeding up slightly. I knew I had no chance of catching her, not with her super speed abilities. She stopped and flew straight back towards me, crashing into me wrapping her arms tightly around my neck.

"Oh wow! Fang look at the stars!" She squealed into my neck. I looked up and sure enough the stars where everywhere. I pulled her a little away from me and leaned in to kiss her. I felt her stop breathing for a slight moment and catch it back again. I sighed against her lips and slid my tongue along her bottom lip.

"Oh Fang!" She murmured into me. I ran my hands slowly through her silky blond hair making her shiver.

But it wasn't me making her shiver. She screamed and shoved me away holding on to her head.

Oh shit a Brain Attack.

"Max!!" I cried "Max what can you see?"

I slowly lowered her to the ground, lying next to her and pulling her over my chest.

Against my will tears fell silently down my cheeks. I impatiently wiped them away, keeping my hands on Max's stomach.

"Shh" I whispered. It was then that I heard that low growl. Omega.

He was cackling maniacally watching me pull Max closer to my chest protectively.

Angel, Iggy and the others...including the mutt Total... dropped out of the sky, Iggy landing practically right on top of Omega.

"Oops sorry" He said coldly. "I meant to do that" He murmured rubbing his tail bone.

They all attacked, at once.

In her unconsciousness Max smiled. The type of smile that made my heart melt.

Within seconds Omega had beaten each of them to a pulp and was advancing on me and Max.

I slowly stood, pulling Max behind my back, struggling to keep her upright.

Omega lunged towards me sending me sprawling onto the ground. I landed heavily on top of Max's body. I stood in front of her, attempting to protect her.

"Fang" she whispered

"Max, honey, your okay? Just stay where you are okay?" I whispered over my shoulder.

Omega lunged again, his fist smashing into the side of my head. Almost immediately i felt a warm sticky liquid running down my neck.

Groaning I sat up, blinking a couple of times trying to get rid of the dazed feeling.

I crawled slowly toward Max. The view in front of me wavered slightly.

"Look out Fang" Max whispered.

I turned around just in time for Omega's fist to land right on my nose. I cried out in pain, hearing Max sobbing behind me.

Omega punched me hard in the chest and I felt my heart literally stop. I heard Max screaming in the distance and it was only then that I noticed that everything had gone white.

Max's POV

I whispered frantically to Fang telling him to look behind him.

Almost as soon as he did he was punched hard in the chest. His face turned white and he no longer looked like Fang. He looked dead. I started screaming and lunged at Omega. That one fight seemed to go on forever. Finally I managed to knock him unconscious. I ran straight to Fang

"No Fang don't be dead!" I cried leaning my head on his chest looking for a heart beat.

There was none.

My precious Fang is dead.
