He was recaptured, but not before leaving her with a permanent "memento," a child whose existence motivates them to do whatever it takes for mage rights. A 1 shot fluff piece I wrote for my Karaas and Josephine, reimaging their encounter in the Arbor Wilds before what Pride Had Wrought. I wanted to give the moment a little more space to breathe than it got in the game; this is just before what could've been the final battle, and I wanted to make it more special. Just a bit of dribbling, angst-filled sappiness that's been rattling around in my brainpan since playing DA: Inquisition. Feeling the need to write a Cullen-knight-in-shining-armor fic. The Fifth Blight is over. Good King Alistair is the great Dissolver of the Fereldan Circle and Recycler of the Mages into Public Servants. Surana freed Zevran instead of recruiting him post-ambush, and he has been eking out a solitary, fearful life in the Denerim Alienage ever since. And Vin Amell? She's the friendly, overworked Fire Safety Warden. Zevran's the guy in her way.

Contents of this fic: 1 Zevran: smooth as all-get-out, miserable, and totally unused to kindness. 1 Rhodri: appallingly awkward, embarrassingly kind, laughs at own jokes. Mix the two gently and carefully until combined, and point and laugh/despair (delete as applicable) at their boundless foolishness for added flavour.

Mina Hawke's arrival in Kirkwall brought Varric all the excitement and fame and fortune he was looking for ... and a few things he hadn't expected. The other story Varric could never tell.

When all of the world's evil all unite under one banner, so must the world of Thedas, if all is to survive this war. The Warden returns and must reunite with old friends and new to lead the charge against the Blacken Incursion. This story is cannon to both games and books of the DA series and leaves off from the events of the Trespasser DLC. Rated T-M. Ch2 is finally up.

This is my version of Dragon Age Inquisition. Vawyn Lavelan carries a secret of why she was at the Conclave, will that secret be revealed, or will the mysterious Secrets of Clan Levellan remain so?
