sometimes words are just words.

And promises die in the wind.

--

"I promise, I promise, I promise," – those words just repeat over and over, soon enough it's suffocating him and he can't breathe but he just has to think those words, and he loses his concentration. His hearts beats in slow motion, echoing the passing of time in his head, his words and vision in fast motion, everything around him blurs. And then he turns around, seeing black.

--

Does he know what he's doing anymore? He can't figure it out – he wishes he wouldn't have a heart so he can't feel confusion, he wishes he had a stone for a heart so it won't beat, he wishes blood wouldn't course through his veins so he wouldn't have to see it spilled all over the pretty pink petals of spring. He sees one destination but he doesn't know how to get there.

--

Her face is all he can see sometimes, when he's screaming in the pitch black and his hair doesn't feel so light anymore, it feels dark, like his hair. He doesn't like to give up so he gets up and breaks away and takes her with him. Yeah, it's like that sometimes.
