A frigid breeze blew through silver locks as Bakura Ryou stood at the site of his departed sister. Bakura Amane was the words etched into lifeless stone; somehow making the enigma of her death all the more real. "Physically, she's only six feet away from me…" Bakura remarked to his blond boyfriend, who squeezed his hand in support. "… But we're worlds apart."
Bakura broke from Jounouchi Katsuya's grip momentarily to place fresh flowers upon his sister's grave. His lips twitched into a bittersweet smile, returning to place his hand inside Jounouchi's. "She would have liked you…"
"You think so?" Jounouchi questioned, giving his boyfriend a warm smile.
"Yes." Deep brown eyes glazed over with tears as Bakura stared at the stone marking his sister's final resting place. "She liked outgoing people… She always said 'that person' would be outgoing… To even out my shyness."
For a moment, Bakura could almost feel the warmth of his sister's lips on his forehead, despite the cool wind that blew around him. He turned to Jounouchi to find the blond shaking in fright; his hazel eyes wide with shock. Bakura gave him a perplexed look. "What's the matter?"
"I could've sworn I saw someone right in front of you just now." The blond explained, pulling on the pale boy's hand. "Don't get me wrong, I respect your sister, but ghosts give me the creeps!"
Jounouchi's head suddenly flew forward, as if he was just hit. Jounouchi yelled out, more out of surprise than pain. Bakura stared at him, fascinated. "Maybe… She's not so far away…" He remarked more to himself than his boyfriend.
The blond boy whirled around, desperately searching for his invisible attacker. Bakura chuckled. "You know, maybe she wouldn't have liked you that much…" The pale boy wrapped both his arms around his boyfriend's single arm and led him from the graveyard, an amused smile upon his lips.
