Chapter/Episode One: The Agent I Am

On the Island of Draco, Haley, Demetria, Dynean and Phoebe, all in their human forms, made their way to the Main Hall. "You really don't have to come with me." Haley told them. "This has nothing to do with Socorro. This is about another member of my family."

"Who?" Dynean asked.

"Jake." Haley explained. "You already met him."

"The one who had to be rescued from Socorro?" Phoebe asked.

"He's the one." Haley said.

"So, what about him?" Demetria asked.

"He's becoming an assistant Dragon Council Agent." Haley smiled. "This is a big day for him. I'm going to go see him and wish him luck."

"So, you really don't want us to come, do you?" Demetria asked.

Sighing, Haley took one more step forward before she stopped and turned around. Demetria, Dynean and Phoebe had her full attention. "It's not that I don't want you there, per say." Haley crossed her arms. "Honestly, I don't mind. It's just, like I said, kind of personal."

"We understand, Mrs. Harris." Demetria said. "We don't want to be a bother."

"Yeah, we'll just wait out here." Phoebe added.

Meanwhile, in one of the rooms in one of the buildings on the island, Jake III finished buttoning up the top of his new Dragon Council Agent uniform. Sighing as he took his hands away from the buttons, he stared at the human-formed Councilor Asil, who smiled as he handed him his belt, which had a Miao dao identical to Lin-Lin's attached to it.

Without a word, Jake took the belt and put it on. Once he had finished putting it on, both he and Councilor Asil turned to look at Lin-Lin, who was standing in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe, her arms crossed and a smile on her face.

"How do I look?" Jake asked, putting his hands on his hips. "What do you think?"

"Hmm..." Lin-Lin said in a teasing tone, putting a hand to her chin. "...I love a man in uniform."

"Hmm..." Jake replied. "...So, are you presenting me with the opportunity to punch you in the face?"

"Okay, that's enough." Asil said. "You can tease each other later, but for now, it's time for the Council to take a look at Mr. Long."

BACK TO THE STORY/SHOW

Meanwhile, Haley arrived at the Main Hall, stepping into the building, where she saw Holly, Agata and Yara seated at the table, all of them waiting. "Good morning, Councilors." Haley said with a smile as she continued to walk into the room.

"Good morning, Haley." Holly returned.

"Is Jake here yet?" Haley asked as she stopped in front of the large table.

"Not yet." Holly replied. "He's still with Councilor Asil and Agent Clark. You're more than welcome to stay here and wait until he gets here."

"I intend to." Haley said before she turned and faced the doorway. Just then, Councilor Asil appeared and turned, stepping into the building, followed by Jake III and Lin-Lin. "Jake!" Haley smiled, moving towards the door.

"Aunt Haley..." Jake managed a small smile.

As Haley got closer, Lin-Lin and Councilor Asil watched as Jake stepped forward and embraced her. Seconds later, the two pulled apart, and Haley smiled as she stared at Jake. However, when Haley saw Jake's smile slowly fade, hers faded as well.

"What's the matter?" She asked him.

"Nothing." Jake lied.

Haley seemed to accept his lie, for she gave him another smile and took his chin gently in her hand. "She'd be proud of you." Haley told him.

As Haley took her hand away, Jake nodded once. "Yeah." He said.

LINE BREAK

Meanwhile, Phoebe, Demetria, and Dynean were standing together near to the edge of the island. "Wow, Mrs. Harris has two members of her family that are Dragon Council Agents now." Demetria said, putting her hands on her hips.

"Two?" Dynean asked. "Who's the second one? I...I thought that Socorro, Cleo, Kay, her brother's kids and their kids were the only family members she has. I don't recall Mrs. Harris ever saying that they were Dragon Council Agents."

Demetria rolled her eyes. "Her sister-in-law was one."

"Yeah, but she's dead." Dynean said.

"Dynean, what she's saying is that Mrs. Harris now has a second member in her family who works or who has worked for the Dragon Council." Phoebe put a hand on Dynean's shoulder, Dynean turning her head to the side. "She made no mention of being alive or dead."

"Well, you could have been more clear." Dynean said, turning her head back to normal.

Unbeknownst to the three friends, several dragon-formed Dragon Council Agents arrived on the island and landed. Altogether, the group of six dragons started to walk forward, but they stopped a few seconds when they reached the obstacle of the three friends.

Demetria opened her mouth, and was just about to say something when the leader of the dragon-formed Dragon Council Agents cleared his throat, making Demetria, Phoebe and Dynean all turn to face them.

"If you don't mind..." The Agent said. "...You all are kind of in our way."

"You do know that you can just walk around us, right?" Phoebe asked, putting her hands on her hips.

"Look, we'd rather not get into an argument." The leader of the Agents tried to reason. "We need to tell Dragon Harris that the repairs on her house have been completed."

"Yeah, well, you can just walk arou-wait, what?" Phoebe started to argue, but once her brain grasped what she was being told, she stopped.

LINE BREAK

Back in the Main Hall, Haley stood alone at the doorway, while Jake III and Lin-Lin stood before the seated Council.

"Well..." Holly spoke. "...Now that your course has been chosen, there is only one more thing left to do."

"Today..." Asil took over for Holly. "...We shall see how well you follow orders from Agent Clark. As her assistant, you have to trust in her and do what she tells you."

"Think of it as the last of your training." Holly finished, making Jake frown.

As Haley watched, standing near the doorway, she had no idea that Demetria, Dynean and Phoebe were making their ways toward the building. It wasn't until the three younger dragons stopped just outside of the door and Demetria reached out, grabbing Haley by the shoulder that Haley reacted.

Her eyes widening, Haley gasped and spun around, looking at her daughter's friends. "What are you doing here?" Haley whispered.

"We just ran into some Dragon Council Agents..." Demetria said softly. "...They said that they finished the repairs to your house..."

LINE BREAK

Councilor Asil led Jake III and Lin-Lin across the grass. Slightly turning her head to the side, Lin-Lin could see Jake III looking down at his feet as he walked, clearly unhappy.

"And here we are..." The sound of Councilor Asil's voice made Lin-Lin turn her head back to normal. Stopping in her tracks, Lin-Lin could see that Asil had stopped at the edge of the island, and now he was turning to face them. He smiled.

"Um, so what about this test thing?" Lin-Lin asked. "When are we going to do it?"

"I'm assuming now..." Jake muttered, crossing his arms.

"Eh, not quite, actually." Asil told them. "I still need to discuss some things with the rest of the Council."

"How long will that take?" Lin-Lin asked.

"Not long at all." Asil continued to smile. "Which is why I'm asking you to wait here until I return. I should be gone no longer than ten minutes. Just be patient and we'll get started soon enough." He finished as he started to walk away from the edge, passing in-between Lin-Lin and Jake.

Slowly turning around, Lin-Lin watched as Asil continued to walk away, while Jake III put his hands on his hips and walked over to the ledge.

"Jake?" Lin-Lin asked, turning her head to the side.

"Hmm?" Jake returned as he crossed his arms. Although verbally answering her, he didn't turn to face her.

"Are you alright?" Lin-Lin asked, turning to face his back.

"Of course I am." Jake lied. Lowering his arms to his sides, Jake III looked down to see that there was a small rock in-between his feet. Taking a step back, Jake silently growled as he pulled his leg back and kicked the small rock over the ledge.

"You seem...angry..." Lin-Lin noted.

"Nope!" Jake assured her, denying her suspicions.

Lin-Lin saw right through his denial and crossed her arms. "Alright then..." She smirked. "...Then come over here and show me a big smile."

Exhaling sharply, Jake III spun around, giving her a big scowl, the exact opposite of what Lin-Lin wanted him to do. "Of course I'm angry, Lin-Lin!" He shouted.

"Why?" Lin-Lin asked, lowering her arms to her sides.

"This isn't what I wanted!"

"But you agreed to do this."

"Only after you told me that it would be no different than being an actual Dragon Council Agent!" Jake told her angrily. "But so far, that's the biggest lie I've ever heard in my life! So far, this is no different than when I was training with Cherri or the McClellans! I'm still being tested! There's no difference! I should have went with the Police Academy."

"There are some differences..." Lin-Lin tried.

"Oh yeah?" Jake crossed his arms. "Are there really?"

"I...I think so."

Jake thought about this for a few seconds before he sneered. "You know, I think you're right, Lin-Lin." He said. "There is one difference. You want to know what that is?" Lin-Lin shrugged and nodded. "I get to wear the uniform now."

LINE BREAK

Meanwhile, Councilor Asil arrived back at the Main Hall. However, just as he was about to walk inside, he stopped in his tracks as Councilor Agata stepped outside, confronting him. "Are the two of them where we told you to take them?" Agata asked.

"Waiting at the edge of the island, just as you said." Asil replied.

"Good." Agata said.

"What about all of the arrangements?" Asil asked. "Is everything ready?"

"Councilor Jennings has paid off the giants." Agata confirmed. "Everything is set for Mr. Long's test."

LINE BREAK

Meanwhile, Haley, Dynean, Demetria, Phoebe and the group of Dragon Council Agents all flew towards Haley's house, eventually landing in front of it. "Well, Dragon Harris..." The leader of the Agents turned his head to the side to look at Haley, who was staring at her house. "...What do you think?"

"I..." Haley started to answer as she stepped forward, stopping right in front of the front steps and even putting one of her feet up on the first step. "...I..." She said as she continued to stare at the house. With all of the repairs made, the house looked better than ever. A brand new door was in the place of the old one that had been destroyed, and the house had even been given an entirely new paint job.

"...Wow..." Was all Haley could say before she turned back around to face her daughter's friends and the Agents. "...You did an excellent job."

"Thank you, Dragon Harris." The leader of the Agents smiled. "Are you ready to move back in?"

"Yes." Haley answered. "I think so."

"About your daughters?" The Agent asked. "Didn't the Dragon Council assign Agents Wido and-"

"Yes." Haley cut him off. "Yes, the Council assigned them to stay with me."

"Would you like us to go to the Island of Draco to get them?" The head Agent asked.

"No need." Haley held up a clawed hand. "No need at all."

"Are you saying that you feel that you can handle your daughters on your own, Dragon Harris?"

"No." Haley lowered her hand. "I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that I won't need them. Demetria, Phoebe and Dynean are here for a reason. They'll help me take on my daughters once they show their faces again."

LINE BREAK

Inside Haley's house, in the kitchen, Demetria held onto a cup of water tightly as she, Dynean and Phoebe sat across from Haley at the kitchen table. Haley sighed as she sat back in her chair. "Do you want something to drink besides water, Demetria?" Haley asked.

"No thank you, Mrs. Harris." Demetria replied with a small smile.

"Are you sure?" Haley checked.

"Positive." Demetria said, before she got down to the topic of Socorro, Cleo and Kay. "Mrs. Harris, um, you do know that you are basically a sitting duck here, right?"

"Yes, I do." Haley replied. "But as I told that Agent, that's why you're all here with me."

LINE BREAK

Outside of Haley's house, the four dragons inside had no idea that Cleo, Kay and Socorro were flying up to the house that was directly across the street. With the dark magic's holder in her possession and with a scowl on her face, Socorro landed with her younger sisters.

Taking a step closer and therefore getting a closer look at the repaired house, Socorro's eyes widened, a gasp coming from her mouth. "What is it?" Cleo asked, crossing her scaly arms.

Socorro chuckled evilly. "Guess what?" She replied, turning her head to the side.

"We don't want to play games, Socorro." Kay growled.

"Just tell us!" Cleo barked.

"The repairs are complete." Socorro declared as she turned to face her sisters, extending her scaly arms out. "And I'm thinking that mother has gone back to living in there. Which means...we attack tonight."

BLACKOUT; COMMERCIAL BREAK

BACK TO THE STORY/SHOW

Back on the Island of Draco, Jake III tapped his foot impatiently, his arms crossed as he continued to stand at the edge of the island. From behind him, Lin-Lin watched, an unreadable look on her face.

Sighing, she crossed her arms. "What's taking him so lo-?" She started to mutter to herself, but before she could finish, Councilor Asil cut her off:

"Hope I didn't keep you two waiting for too long." Turning around, Lin-Lin could see Councilor Asil walking towards them. "Everything has been cleared up with the rest of the Council. We can go now."

"And...where exactly are we going to go?" Lin-Lin asked.

Asil stopped in front of Lin-Lin before he glanced to the side, seeing that Jake III still had his back to Lin-Lin and him. "Well..." Asil answered as he turned his attention back to Lin-Lin. "...Mr. Long will be taking his test off of this island. I think it'd be best if we got going now."

LINE BREAK

A short time later, Asil and Lin-Lin, with Jake III on her back, landed in front of a forest. While Asil landed on his feet and quickly reverted to his human form, Lin-Lin landed on all fours, letting Jake off of her back before she straightened up.

As Jake sighed and started to walk closer to the forest, Lin-Lin watched, reverting to her human form just like Asil had done. Once she was in her human form, Lin-Lin turned and put a hand on Asil's shoulder. "Councilor?" She asked.

"Yes?" Asil replied, turning his head to the side.

"Um..." Lin-Lin took her hand away from his shoulder. "...You said that this was to see if Jake could follow my orders."

"Yes." Asil said.

"So, what will happen if he can't?" Lin-Lin asked. "What if he can't trust in me?"

"If he doesn't..." Asil said, turning his head back to normal, staring at Jake, whose back was to him and Lin-Lin. "...Well then, he'll just have to be assigned a new Agent to work with." He turned his head back to the side.

"But-" Lin-Lin started, but was cut off by Jake, who turned around to face her and Asil.

"Hey, when is this test supposed to start?" Jake asked. "And why are we even he-?"

However, before he could finish speaking, there was a large and loud roar coming from the forest. His eyes widening and his lips parting, Jake slowly turned around to see two of the trees being pushed over by a towering creature. Yelping in surprise, Jake tried to brace himself, but the trees missed him, landing on both sides of him.

Calming himself down, Jake could see that the cause of the falling trees was that two giants were exiting the forest. Swallowing hard, Jake turned his head to the side, seeing both Lin-Lin and Asil. Both looked shocked.

"Uh, care to tell me what's going on?" Jake demanded.

Before he could get an answer, the second giant roared as it held up a rather large rock, chucking it down. Yelping, Jake threw himself down onto his stomach, just barely avoiding getting hit. Instead, the rock flew over towards Asil and Lin-Lin. Gasping, Councilor Asil turned and jumped to the side, while Lin-Lin leapt into the air, the rock flying passed where they had just been standing.

In the air, Lin-Lin flipped forward and as she started to fall back to the ground, she transformed into her dragon form in a bright light.

Grunting, Jake slowly got to his feet, and just as he got fully to his feet, Lin-Lin landed right beside him. "Jake..." Lin-Lin quickly reached down for her sword. "...Take out your sword."

"That won't work for two giants!" Jake argued.

"Just do it!" Lin-Lin ordered as she pulled her sword out from its sheath. Sighing and rolling his eyes, Jake did as he was told while Lin-Lin flapped her wings and hovered into the air.

"Okay, now what?" Jake asked.

"Hop onto my back." Lin-Lin turned her head to the side.

Sighing again, Jake grunted as he jumped up, landing on Lin-Lin's back. "Okay, so now what?" Jake asked her.

Hearing this question, Lin-Lin blinked before she turned her head to the side so she could look at him. "I'm...I'm not quite sure. I guess we just attack."

"That won't be necessary." Came the sound of Councilor Yara's voice.

Gasping, Lin-Lin turned her head back to normal, seeing Councilor Yara and Holly, both in their human forms, walking out of the forest and in-between the two giants. "You're not in any real danger." Yara reported as Holly smiled.

"We're not?" Jake frowned.

"This was your test, Jake." Holly said. "I'm proud to say that you passed."

"He...He did?" Lin-Lin asked with a smile.

"He did." Holly replied. "Good work, both of you."

LINE BREAK

That night, at Haley's house, the final light in the house went off. Still standing on the roof of the house across the street, Socorro grinned wickedly before she spun around, her grin vanishing as she saw her two younger sisters fast asleep.

Gritting her teeth, Socorro clenched her clawed hands into fists. "Would you two pathetic excuses for sisters get up?!" She hissed, loud enough for her sisters to hear her, but not loud enough for the dragons inside the house across the street to hear her. In response, Socorro gasped and was forced to duck down as Cleo shot a torrent of fire at her.

As soon as the torrent of fire stopped being projected at Socorro, the enraged Socorro straightened up, glaring as the also angry Cleo and Kay pushed themselves up onto their feet.

"You just had to go and wake us up..." Cleo muttered.

"That's because it's time!" Socorro growled. "And so help me, if you do that again, I will kill you!"

A few seconds later, Socorro flew off of the roof, followed by Kay and Cleo, and within seconds, they landed in front of the front steps to Haley's house. "Okay, here's what we're going to do..." Socorro said as she started to walk up the steps. "...It's going to be real simple..." As soon as she reached the top step, she put her index claw into the keyhole, unlocking the door. "...We're going to be stealthy. Now come on." She turned her head to the side, glancing down at her sisters.

Scowling, Kay and Cleo started to follow her up the stairs. Quickly, Socorro pushed the door open and walked inside, followed by her two sisters.

The three dragons, however, only were able to take about four steps before the light in the next room turned on, making them all stop.

"Hello, mo-" Socorro smirked as she turned, but she immediately stopped and her smirk vanished as she saw that, instead of her mother, it was the dragon-formed Demetria, Phoebe and Dynean that had turned the light on. They were going to fight them.

Socorro scowled as Cleo and Kay turned to face Dynean, Phoebe and Demetria. "I take it mother is not here..." Socorro growled.

"That doesn't matter." Dynean replied before she and her friends all flapped their wings and flew at Socorro, Kay and Cleo. Socorro, Cleo and Kay all flapped their wings and lifted into the air, and while Demetria made contact with Kay and Phoebe made contact with Cleo, Socorro flew higher into the air as Dynean got close enough.

Right above Dynean, Socorro dropped her tail down on Dynean's back, making Dynean grunt as she was thrown down onto the floor. Weakly looking up, Dynean watched as Socorro chuckled evilly before she turned and started to fly up the stairs, no doubt going to her mother's bedroom.

Watching, Dynean quickly pushed herself up onto her feet and started to run up the stairs, only to flap her wings and launch herself at her former friend. Within seconds, Dynean was on top of Socorro and came down on her, pinning her down on the stairs.

As she held the struggling Socorro down, Dynean turned her head to the side, trying to look down the stairs so she could see how her friends were doing. As Demetria and Kay took their fight into the next room, Cleo threw Phoebe up at the ceiling. However, Phoebe managed to position herself so that her feet hit the ceiling, so that she was able to bend her scaly knees and launch herself back down at Cleo. The two grunted as they fell back onto the floor.

As Socorro started to struggle harder, Dynean turned her head back to normal, just in time for Socorro to overpower her, standing straight up. As a result, Dynean was thrown off of her back, flipping backwards as she started to fall down the stairs.

"Whoa!" However, Dynean was able to reach down and put her clawed hands down on one of the lower steps, instead of hitting her head, allowing her to bring her feet down two steps lower.

As Dynean straightened herself up, the smirking Socorro turned to face her. "Still standing?" She asked.

Dynean said nothing. She just grunted as she started to run up stairs.

"Well, not for long..." Socorro smirked before she lashed out with her tail. Grunting as Socorro's tail hit her in the chest, Dynean yelped as she was thrown back. Grinning evilly, Socorro watched as Dynean grunted, rolling down the stairs before she hit the floor.

Quickly, Socorro turned and ran up the rest of the stairs.

Groaning, Dynean rolled over onto her belly and looked up, seeing Phoebe and Cleo wrestling each other near the open door. Grunting, Dynean pushed herself up onto her feet and charged, slamming into Cleo from the side. Grunting, Cleo was thrown off of her feet and was thrown out of the house, rolling down the steps.

Panting, Dynean turned to look at Phoebe, who was also panting. "Thanks." Phoebe said, putting her clawed hands on her hips.

"Don't mention it." Dynean gave her friend a smile before she turned and quickly closed the front door, locking it.

Upstairs, Socorro smiled evilly as she pulled the box that contained her dark magic out of its holder. Stopping at the door to her bedroom, Socorro opened her mouth and blew out a torrent of fire, blasting the door down.

In her bed, Haley, in human form, quickly jolted awake and sat up, turning her head to the side to see Socorro walk into the room. "Room service!" Socorro declared. "I'm ready to serve some dark magic!"

"You want to do what?" Haley asked as she climbed out of bed.

"You heard me." Socorro said as she started to open the box. However, before she could open it more than a crack, Haley used her tail to smack it out of her hands.

Although shocked at first, Socorro scowled only a few seconds later, watching as her mother transformed into her full dragon form. "Fine." Socorro took a fighting stance. "We fight."

Snarling, Haley lunged at her oldest daughter.

LINE BREAK

Back downstairs, Demetria grunted as she was thrown against the mantle of the fireplace. Falling down, she landed in a sitting position, beside a bottle of gasoline and in front of Kay, who had a murderous look on her face and two fireballs, one in each clawed hand.

Demetria moaned and reverted to her human form, just as Kay stopped right in front of her. "Ready to die?" Kay growled.

In response, the dazed Demetria turned her head to the side, noticing the gasoline. Smirking as she slowly took hold of the bottle, she turned her head back to normal, seeing a look of shock on Kay's face as she dropped the fireballs from her clawed hands.

"Are you crazy?" Kay asked.

"Are you ready to get burned?" Demetria asked just seconds before she started to take the cap off of the gasoline bottle.

"You're only going to get yourself killed!" Kay warned, taking two steps back.

"I think I'll be fine." Demetria said. "Just as long as I don't get any on me..." Then, she lashed out with the bottle, getting some gasoline on Kay, who yelped and jumped back, as well as the floor. Grunting as she got to her feet, Demetria poured all of the gasoline onto the floor, while the panicking Kay tried to use her hands to wipe off the gasoline that was on her body.

"Hey, Kay!" Hearing the sound of Demetria's voice, Kay jerked her head up to see Demetria, in her dragon form and hovering in the air, dropping the empty gasoline bottle. Demetria smirked. "Feel the burn!"

Demetria then looked down and opened her mouth, blowing out a torrent of fire, which hit the gasoline and set the floor aflame. Shrieking, Kay flapped her wings and turned, flying through the window, fleeing the house.

LINE BREAK

Back up in Haley's room, Haley and Socorro continued to fight. Haley lashed out with her tail, but Socorro managed to jump back, avoiding the attack. Growling, Socorro charge for her mother, and as soon as she reached her swiped at her with her claws, but Haley managed to jump back.

"Stop that!" Socorro roared, throwing a punch, which Haley quickly blocked with a scaly arm.

"That's what you meant..." Haley said, lowering her scaly arm as Socorro pulled her clawed hand away. Snarling, Socorro tried to swipe at her mother again, but Haley once again jumped back to avoid the attack.

"...That's what you meant when you said that you wanted to take me prisoner." Haley said. "I understand now."

"Good!" Socorro shouted impatiently before she opened her mouth and blew out a torrent of fire. Quickly, Haley ducked, only to grunt as Socorro slammed her tail into her side, throwing her to the side. Breathing heavily, Socorro turned to watch Haley grunt as she landed on her side.

Groaning, Haley rolled over onto her back. "You want to corrupt me with your dark magic."

"Hmm." Was all Socorro said before she started to walk back over to her box, passing by her mother, who was breathing heavily. As soon as Socorro reached her fallen box and bent over to pick it up, Haley moaned as she slowly sat up, then starting to stand up.

"Mrs. Harris!" Came the shout of Phoebe from downstairs as Haley started to stand. "The house is on fire! You need to get out while you can!" She finished as Haley finished standing up.

With the box in both of her clawed hands, Socorro chuckled as she started to get to her feet. "Oh, you'll be getting out of this house alright..." Socorro said. "...With me..." She finished as she slowly turned around to face her mother, whose back was to her. "...Oh mother..." Socorro mocked, just seconds before Haley spun around and opened her mouth, releasing a torrent of fire.

As the fire hit Socorro, Socorro screamed as she was blasted back, being thrown right into the wall. Seconds later, when Haley closed her mouth, she found that her fire had blown right through the wall. Socorro was gone, and now Haley had a quick escape route from the now burning house.

LINE BREAK

The next morning, Haley's house was nothing more than a smoking pile of rubble. "I can't believe it..." Holly said as she, Haley, Agata, Yara, Asil, Phoebe, Demetria and Dynean, all in their human forms, stood in the street, staring at it.

"...Your house is gone." Holly finished.

"At least the four of you are safe." Agata said.

"Look, I'm sorry that I set the house on fire." Demetria said, turning her head to the side so she could see the looks of the faces on each member of the Council.

"Do not worry about it." Holly turned her head to the side. "The important thing is that your quick thinking scared Haley's daughters away and saved your lives."

"Yes." Asil agreed. "Now, we will just have to find Dragon Harris a new home."

"She can stay with me." Demetria offered. "It is the least I can do."

"That won't be necessary." Haley crossed her arms.

"It won't?" Holly asked.

"No." Haley turned her head to the side to look at Haley. "I don't need a new house."

"I'm...I'm afraid that I don't follow." Holly gave her a friendly, but confused smile. "Where will you live."

"On the Island of Draco." Haley declared.

"Uh..." Holly started, only to have Haley take her by her arm and start to lead her away. "Haley, what are you doing?" Holly asked.

"I need to talk to you." Haley said softly as the two of them started to walk away, although the others could still hear her. "It's about something Socorro said last night..."
