10. Update 2

Update: I'M BACK

Hey, everyone. So, this is an update chapter. Last year (in early August, I think), I posted an update telling you guys that I had to take a break because finding a job was more important to me at that point than continuing working on stories for this site. I think I mentioned at that point that an old family friend of mine might be able to help me find some work and well, he came through.

I've been working five days a week ever since, for about the last five months. I work Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, which only leaves me with two days off every week. This doesn't exactly give me as much free time as I used to have. I meant to have this update out months ago, I thought that I would be able to get back to work months ago.

Well, unfortunately, everything just kind of went wrong at once. I had some health issues (issues that are still ongoing) and I had to worry about car maintenance, paying for which I had to do so with my credit card. I didn't have to spend it all at once, but when it was all said and done, in just about two and a half or three months, I put $2,400 on my car. And it was only a couple of weeks ago that I finally got it fully paid off. And I need my car for work, so I didn't really have any alternatives.

Not all of my obligations have been met, I still have a health issue that I'm dealing with is an example. But I think I've finally reached a point where I can start to make a comeback. Keep in mind my work schedule, that I talked about above. So, I won't be able to post like all the time how I used to way back when. But hopefully, my stories won't be dead, anymore. I just can't exactly say how frequent or infrequent posts from me will be now.

All I can guarantee is that I don't plan to disappear like this again (well, I hope that doesn't happen, because I don't like to leave my readers hanging). I'm going to be posting this update to Volume Three of Bride To Be, Ultimate Alien, as well as the reboot of Bride To Be's first volume. I won't be posting this update on the Cold Winter's Night remake, though, as anyone who has read that story knows that I'm active once again (well, anyone who was a previous reader, anyway). However, chapters for Volume Three and UA may still be just a while away, because I need to figure out what order to post them in or how many chapters I should post at a time.

I need the chapters of Bride To Be and UA to line up as best they can due to an upcoming (upcoming may be a bit generous) event that involves both stories intersecting for a while. Obviously, I can't say anything about that, but I thought I should explain why I need to figure what way I need to post these chapters.

And as for the reboot, that story is kind of on the back burner indefinitely at this point. When I stopped doing this for a while, I had to stop working on that, too. And the reboot is kind of a bitch to write, because I have to actually pick apart every original chapter and decides what stays, what is cut and what should be added altogether or done differently.

So, I still plan to finish the reboot, it's just probably going to take longer than anything I've mentioned here. Well, I suppose that's everything I had to say.
