This is how I feel the "Rise of Skywalker" should have gone to tie the entire saga together. i have it set right when Rey has been drained by sidious and he is devastating the rebel fleet. Then her spirit leaves her body and she enters The World Between worlds to learn from the spirits of Jedi from the past to stop Sidious for good. I made this as a service to for my SW fans. Enjoy

Star Wars Infinities: The Rise of Skywalker "Convergence"

In The World between the Worlds and Alternate ending.

The scene opens right when Rey is lying on the ground when Sidious is creating a force lighting storm to destroy the rebel fleet and Rey is looking up asking the Jedi one last time in her darkest moment "Be with me. Speak to me, please." Her vision looks past the storm and the clouds to the stars. Then as she is still lying down, she sees the blue auroras of the Jedi of the past begin to materialize. Including Luke Skywalker, Leia, Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Yoda, and even Qui Gon Jinn along with all the Jedi of the past. Even the Wills, the Father and the Daughter.

I have thought for a long time now like many of you who are devoted fans to George Lucas's Stars Universe that "The Rise of Skywalker" could have been used as an opportunity to tie all the material in the present cannon of stories from the films, shows, comics, and novels together as a whole. The ending they gave was all right, but it just did not do the saga as a whole justice. But the overall film while admiral in theory felt still too rushed in execution and not a lot of clear and intelligent fore planning that would have made a story that gave closure and answered so many questions about the saga. So, I have written this for you loyal fans, myself included, to give Rey's story in "The Rise of Skywalker" the ending that I personally believe it deserved. To be fair if this had been potentially included it might have added an extra three to perhaps six hours and the film would need to be broken into two or three parts. Still, I used the word "infinities" in the title in honor of the three-book series, "Star Wars: Infinities," that was made to tell alternate stories for the original trilogy continuum. Also using Dave Filoni's concept of "The World between the Worlds" seemed the best way to show how Rey's story is connected to the greater multi-generation saga as a whole. Using critical scenes and dialogue from the films, animated shows, games, comics, along with the spirits of those who lived through those events, clarifies how Rey's story ties in with theirs. Expanding on some of the same scenes to portray what might have happened that was explored in the established mediums. This story has been written from my own individual point of view.

Lastly, I wanted to show Rey facing unique trials that help her discover the key to defeating Sidious and those like him. How her choosing the name Skywalker makes more logical sense in this version and using abilities in conjunction with the pure Will of the Force to achieve a perfect victory for all time. Read and enjoy for Master says, "Because for every star. A story there is." Where one story ends, a new one begins. The force will be with you, always!

Chapter 1: Meeting the Masters of the Past

Anakin: "Rise Rey." Rey begins to stand and realizes she does not feel as weak or drained of life anymore. Rey: "Wait, I don't feel drained of life force. I was..." She looks around and is not aware that she is now in the "World between the Worlds." Rey: "Where am I? What is this place?"

The spirits of the Jedi Masters of the Past materialize around her. Qui Gon: "A place unlike anywhere else. This is the conduit through which the living force of the entire universe flows in and out." Yoda: "Has many names this place does." Obi Wan: "The conduit." Aayla Secura: "The Bridge." Luminara: "The middle of all." The Wills: "This is the "World between the Worlds" and the space between the times. The one place in all existence that connects to every life sustaining world, and the only place where the past, present, and the future all intersect and converge. Here there is a door that can take to almost anywhere and any when you want to go. Only accessible to the pure of heart."

Rey: "I still don't understand." Ahsoka: "It's Ok. Don't try to take it all in or make sense of it all at once." Rey looking around all perplexed sees Leia shift from as she last saw her to the way she looked in her youthful years during the original rebellion looking the same age as Rey. Rey: "Leia!" She runs up to her and gives her a hug. Rey: "I'm so sorry I failed! I..." Leia: "There is nothing you need to feel sorry for. You showed how strong your love and compassion were when you healed Ben and helped him rediscover his true self as Luke did for my father." Rey: "But Sidious used our bond to restore himself. Now the rebellion is lost, and the galaxy is doomed." Luke steps forward changing from his old, disillusioned self as she first met him to his youthful self. Luke: "It's never too late to turn things around. Not as long as you are unwilling to give up on hope. The one lesson I should've taught you from my training is that you are only a failure when you go your own way instead of listening and following the Will of the Force and failing to stand up for what you know in your spirit is right out of selfless love."

Rey looks through one of the doors and sees herself back on Exogal still lying on her back and Sidious with his force storm all frozen in place and time. Nothing is happening. Rey: "Does this mean I'm dead?" Qui Gon: "Your spirit has become separated from your body of flesh, but that flesh still lives for now. You along with the rest of us are beyond time as you know it. For back there, time is no longer moving forward relative to here in this place. Where a moment there can be a whole eternity. That is where the Force is as are you right now. At the center of this one eternal moment." Rey: "I need to get back!" Yoda: "Get back you cannot." Anakin: "He's right, if you can't find your inner spiritual strength and your full connection to the Force, you will not be able to defeat Sidious. You are here to learn what has brought everything and all of us together here and now, and why you are the only one at this point in time who can restore the balance otherwise Sidious will continue to ravage the galaxy and potentially the entire universe." Rey: "How?" Leia: "By recognizing the difference between true power and power that is only an illusion. The truth about the light and the dark side. It is here that you will learn the secret of how to defeat Sidious, but also the Sith once and for all." Rey: "How?" Serenity: "By learning the events that brought all of us to this time and place through the all-seeing memory of the Force. Before anything else you must keep this in mind at all times. The knowledge that those like the Jedi and almost every sentient race has continuously forgotten across the ages. Best illustrated by the story of the two crondors." Rey: "What do birds have to do with stopping Sidious?" Serenity shows a vision of a grandfather with his granddaughter. Serenity: "In the story the grandfather tells his granddaughter, 'I have a terrible fight between two crondor birds with-in me. One is all that is dark and bad about me. This is one is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and overinflated ego. While the other is all that is light and good about me. This one is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, wisdom, compassion, selflessness, and faith. This same fight goes on inside you and every living person who can choose between light and dark. The granddaughter asks, 'Which one will win?' The grandfather responds, 'If you do it right then they both win along with you. For if you choose to feed only the crondor of light then the dark one will be hiding around every corner waiting for me to become distracted or weak and jump to grab my attention that one craves. The dark one will always be angry and always fighting the light one trying to supplant and seal that one away, but if I acknowledge the dark one then that one is happy along with the light one and we all win. For the dark crondor has many positive qualities in contrast to the negative. Such as tenacity, courage, fearlessness, strong-willed, and great intelligence for strategic thinking that I have need of at times that the light one lacks. But the light crondor has compassion, caring and the ability to recognize what is in the best interest of all. You see Rey like the grandfather is telling his grandchild you to have this same struggle with-in yourself. For you see the crondor of light needs the crondor of darkness and vice versa at either side. To focus all your effort and favor on only one would starve the other and they will become uncontrollable. To focus and care for both means they will both serve you well and do nothing that is not a part of something greater, something good, and something of life. Treat them both well and there will be no more internal conflict over your attention. There will be balance and peace. When this happens, you can listen to the Force speak to you of deeper knowing, wisdom, and understanding that will guide you in choosing what is right in every circumstance. Peace and harmony with all life and living beings is supposed to be the first goal in every sentients life. Anyone who has constant conflict with-in ultimately has nothing and will amount to nothing in the grandness of time. For them they are consumed an insatiable hunger that will never be satisfied or content. While one who does have peace inside has everything and knows they are a part of something greater than themselves which will continue on after their deaths. How you choose to interact with the opposing forces with-in you will determine your course through life. Keep this first and foremost in your mind as you see and learn what you will discover here. "

She guides Rey to another door that begins to show the past to her. Rey sees a family with a mother, a father that looks just like Rey's father, and an eight-year-old son. Rey: "Is that boy..." Serenity: "Yes Rey that is Palpatine before he fell and became Sidious." Rey: If this is a doorway to the past I could enter now and end this before..." Ahsoka: "You would only destroy yourself and so many other lives that were affected. Who were born and came together as a result of his actions. Besides, you are not here to change the past, but to learn from it to help you in the present. Keep watching and don't stop until you have learned what you need to know." Rey watches as the family scream at the sound blaster going off. Along with a lightsaber slashing. The door is blasted open to reveals Darth Plagus holding his humming crimson lightsaber. He force chokes them and demands, "Where is the Jedi?" The mother: "There is no Jedi here!" Darth Plagus: "Not you, I sense someone more powerful here." The young Palpatine takes Plagus's lightsaber by a force pull and holds it still ignited. Darth Plagus: "Your son!" Both parents scream, "Run!" Then Plagus kills them with force lightning. He then pulls his lightsaber out of Palpatine's hands, levitates him, and asks Palpatine, "Do you know why I had to kill your parents. To free you. They or the Jedi would hold you back from discovering your true potential. I feel it. The force is strong with you. If you want to become more powerful, I can make that happen. I can open to you a path that will give you more power than you can ever imagine. The entire galaxy will kneel at your feet and will be yours to rule. You can live or die; the choice is yours. If you refuse you are not worthy of living." Palpatine trembles and submits, "I will learn what you want to teach me. I want this power you speak of." Darth Plagus: "Then understand that as of now you are a Sith. Learning to become a master of the dark side. You will be trained in the ways of the Sith as my master taught me and all the Sith stretching back untold generations under this code. Peace is a lie; there is only passion. Through passion we gain strength. Through strength, power. Through power victory. Through victory our chains are broken. The force shall set us free. By agreeing to submit to my teachings, you free yourself from the emotional bonds that your parents used to hold you back. The strength and power you desire will attract others to you who will serve you to possess the tiniest sliver of your power and become dependent on you until they desire to destroy you in-order to take your place so that they too are worthy of that power. Those who resist will find they are nothing next to you. For the weak are the meat that the strong shall eat. And never forget that in the Sith, as started by Darth Bane after the fall of the first Sith empire, there can only be two. A master and an apprentice. One who possess the power and one who desires it. Prove yourself worthy or you will be cast aside to make room for a worthier apprentice. So, don't stop working to prove yourself worthy. For when you prove that you are worthy then you must kill me to take my place. Until then you will do and learn what I teach you as my apprentice." Palpatine: "I will, my master."

The vision ends and Rey finds herself back in the "World between the Worlds." Rey: "So Palpatine was given no choice but to learn the ways of the Sith, but why didn't he escape and leave it behind?" Serenity points to another door. It shows the later part of his training. Serenity: "As time wore on, Plagus got more and more brutal with his training. There was a struggle within Sidious between his good and dark half. It was always within his power to stop and find balance, but he grew to desire more and more power. To become Plagus superior in every way. He eventually chose to seal away all that was good within him. Then the day came when he successfully killed his master and became Darth Sidious. Plagus had also taught him how to use the force to influence the midiclorians. The foundation of all life to create life. However, when a force user uses the force as means for obtaining power for domination, oppression, control, and destruction that reveals the double-edged blade of the dark side. Its base nature is to consume and feed off twisted pride and take joy in causing pain to others and instilling fear in their hearts, while for the wielder it becomes a hunger that can never be satisfied. For one who chooses to be ruled by darkness ends up becoming consumed by it from the inside out. So evil force users do all they can to vanquish mortality and become immortal Gods by infusing their essence. Their dark twisted spirit to an object. Like he wanted to do to you and what he originally wanted to do with Anakin. For you see, Rey, only when one who is a force user is willing to go through the spiritual training and is willing to selflessly let go of their lives on the mortal material plane can they move freely and have power and presence in the material plane as the will of the force directs them. As Luke did for you when all you wanted to do was run away. Or when Luke was willing to give up on the Jedi, and Yoda came to teach him the lesson of how failure can help make one better than they were before. But for those who become champions of evil, the only way they can still have power and a presence in mortal plane is by infusing their spirit to an object or supplanting their souls into another force sensitive's body. Or a personal object that they always made sure was infused with their energy." Anakin: "That's where I come in."

Chapter 2: Anakin's path to darkness.

Rey: "What do you mean Master Skywalker?" He leads her to another door. She sees Sidious at a Sith altar with blue flames burning in it. Anakin: "He used the knowledge he learned from Plagus to influence the midiclorians across the Galaxy to create a new life in my mother, thus creating me. As I later saw in a vision on Mustafar. His plan all along was to find me and make me his apprentice and eventually become a new vessel for his evil soul. Instead Master Qui Gon found me and decided to become my teacher so that I could become a Jedi, but still left my mother behind as a slave." Qui-Gon appears and stands next to Anakin. Qui Gon: "In truth I was still a product of the failings of the Jedi because we were more concerned about keeping peace by playing peace makers politics rather than doing as the force willed. We for most part became almost completely dis-connected from the force. This combined with the mindset of being free of all possessive emotions and personal attachments outside of the Jedi order. Along with taking force sensitive children from their parents as babies so as to have attachment outside their teachers and the order. We lived by a code which went this way. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force. To some an ideal Jedi would be nothing more than a force wielding droid that follows its directive with-out question. In doing so, the Jedi had inadvertently played into Sidious's hands and became agents for evil. Played as pawns in the Clone Wars between the Republic and The Separatist as he was masterminding and playing both sides. He destroyed us through the Clone Troopers with the inhibitor chips that had them execute Order 66. For he saw the Jedi as he saw any force user who would not serve him as a threat to his power. And his ultimate goal of ruling the galaxy to establish his new Sith empire." Anakin: "When Qui Gon died, Obi Wan tried to be as a good teacher for me as Qui-Gon was to him." Obi Wan appears. Obi Wan: "Except like the rest of the Jedi, at the time I was more concerned about the politics and winning the war then serving the will of the force." Anakin: "As the years passed, I grew more restless and disillusioned with the Jedi, at times growing frustrated and angry with them. The only comfort I had in my life was my wife, Padme Amidala, whom I had married in secret. She was my constant light in my darkness. One night I had a vision of my mother dying. The Jedi taught that we should not have emotional attachments with people and dedicate ourselves fully to keeping peace in the republic as ambassadors and representatives for corruptible politicians who allowed slavery to still exist. I hesitated to act on this and when I did return to Tattooine to find her, I learned she had been taken by Tuskin Raiders. When I found her, she died in my arms and I was filled with such absolute rage that I slaughtered the entire village. I felt relief, anger, and guilt for what I had done, but a part of me liked it. The only one I confided in was Padme who still loved me despite what I had done. Later I lost my arm as a result of a reckless duel with the fallen Jedi master, Count Dooku, who became Sidious apprentice after we thought Darth Maul had died. Later on, during the first months of The Clone Wars I accepted Ahsoka Tano as my apprentice. She had the same spirit for adventure as I had but proved to be more of a true Jedi then I ever hoped to be. More so than I realized when she was accused of a crime, she didn't commit due to her friend and fellow padawan Barris Offee. Yet Ahsoka still stood strong in defense of her innocence despite the evidence against her. In fact, Barris had made it so the evidence against Ahsoka was so overwhelming she was expelled from the Jedi order. I got the aid of an unexpected ally in the form of Asajj Ventress who after telling me who Ahsoka spoke to before being at the factory where she was arrested led me straight to Barris who had stolen and used Ventress's lightsabers against me when I confronted her. After Ahsoka was finally proven innocent by Offee's admittance and confession she was given the chance to return to the Jedi." Ahsoka then appears. Ahsoka: "I realized how far the Jedi had fallen and chose on my own to leave the order." {Showing the moment where she and Anakin split up.} Ahsoka: "I went searching for a new purpose in life. I found new friends who showed me how the ordinary citizens of the republic viewed the Jedi as only playing nice with politicians instead of serving the people and the will of the force. Eventually I was recruited to help the Mandolorians by duchess Satine's sister Bo Kataan retake their world from Darth Maul who had survived his battle with Obi-Wan on Naboo years before. Anakin and I had a brief reunion before Obi wan came rushing in to tell us about the attack on Corusant. That was the last time for many years that I saw him. Until I faced him as Darth Vader."

Obi-Wan: "The Clone Wars was consuming the entire galaxy. The whole war was orchestrated by Sidious, who used Master Sifo Dious' fear about an impending war and told Dooku to help him commission the clone army from the DNA of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. Dooku paid the Pikes on Obadiah to murder him and give him his body to present to Sidious as his proof of his full allegiance to Sith. He once told me while imprisoned on Geonosis that the Dark Lord of the Sith was in charge of the republic. That was the truth that I assumed was nothing but a deception. Later on, after killing Sifo Dious' instructed the Kaminoins to implant control chips into the brains of the clones so that when they heard the code phrase for "Order 66" they would kill their Jedi friends and leader's with-out hesitancy or remorse. Because the directive made them believe that the Jedi needed to be executed for treason and that only by destroying them the republic would be saved along with obeying Darth Sidious with-out question."

Anakin: "Before Sidious gave that order he was still the supreme chancellor of the republic. Hiding in plain sight of the Jedi all along with-out them realizing it." Obi-Wan: "Dooku once told me while imprisoned on Geonosis at the break of the Clone Wars that the Dark Lord of the Sith was in charge of the republic. That was the truth that I assumed was nothing but a deception." Anakin: "He sensed my unease because I was troubled by a vision of Padmae dying in childbirth after learning she was pregnant, and it was the happiest I had ever felt. I was searching for the answer of how I might save her, but I still felt it necessary to keep my marriage to her a secret or be expelled from the Jedi order. When Palpatine appointed me to be his personal representative on the Jedi Council, I thought I would have access to the holocron vault to find the answer to how to save Padmae. Instead, the council denied me the rank of master and I was furious. Even more so after Obi-Wan told me that they wanted me to spy on the chancellor." The scene changes to when Master Kenobi, Windu, and Yoda on a transport where they spoke of the prophecy of the chosen one with Master Kenobi asking Master Windu. Kenobi: "With all due respect master. Is he not the chosen one? Is he not the one who will destroy the Sith and bring balance to the force?" Windu: "So the prophecy says." Yoda: "A prophecy that misread could have been." Back to Anakin. Anakin: "Sidious sensed that from me when I met him at an opera, and he told me the story of Darth Plagus. Sidious told me he knew the secret of how to save people from dying. I asked him if it is possible to learn this power. He told me it could not be learned from a Jedi." Rey is then shown the memory of when Ahsoka faced Maul on Mandolore. Ahsoka: "Maul had hoped to face and kill Anakin because he realized that Anakin was Sidious's true goal in acquiring an apprentice." The scene then changes to the discussion between the masters where Windu says, 'I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi," to when Ahsoka comes in. Ahsoka: "I arrived at the meeting a few seconds after Anakin went to speak with Palpatine. I told master Yoda that I wish to discuss what I had learned from Maul when I saw him again. Had I been more insistent to speak with him before going to the Chancellor it might've helped avoid what came next." Back with Anakin as he learns that Palpatine is the Sith Lord. Anakin: "When I discovered who Palpatine really was I wanted to bring him in or even kill him there. Instead, I gave into the part of me that thought there was a possibility he was right and that he could save Padmae. So instead, I left and informed master Windu about it. He told me to stay put so that he and the other council members could apprehend Sidious. In the battle that ensue Sidious killed three of them and Master Windu had him at his mercy when I came in in defiance of what he told to do." Rey watches the whole scene play out to when Anakin fearing that Sidious maybe his only hope for saving Padmae that he slices off master Windu's arm, and Sidious kills him with force lightning shouting, "Power! Unlimited Power!" Seeing Anakin in despair for realizing what he had down pledge himself to Sidious as Darth Vader with his persona consumed by persona that Sidious had instilled. Anakin: "When he said, 'we will discover the secret together,' I realized what he had said before was a lie. I could have ended right there. But in my despair, I felt I genially had no choice but to serve him and the dark side and so cut myself off from the Force and denied myself all feeling. Becoming his slave. I believed then that it would be better to lose my conscience and my soul then my wife. I had turned my wife not into an outreach of my love for life and selflessness, but a possession that I clung to out of selfishness and fear. So, I went to the temple and killed all the Jedi there along with the clones. Masters and younglings together, sparing none. I then went to the Mustafar system to kill all the separatist leaders. After that, Sidious declared himself emperor. A short time after that Padmae came to see me with Ob-Wan in tow." The scene changes to the moment on Mustafar the personified Anakin's fall. Anakin: "By then I had lost sense of everything so that I was unable to recognize right from wrong so much that I used the force to start to choke her. I had become the very monster I swore to destroy. Felt like everyone had failed and betrayed me that I was filled with nothing but all-consuming hate. Obi-Wan and I fought fiercely until I allowed my pride to blind me and he cut off my other arm and my legs were destroyed as I was burned beyond recognition by the lava. Mu last words to him were, 'I hate you!' Obi-Wan: "Padme did die in the process childbirth giving birth to Luke and Leia because she had lost the will to live. With her last breath she told me to not give up on me because there was still good in him." Scene changes to when Anakin is placed into his cybernetic suit. Showing when in rage all but destroys the medical center and the droids after Sidious tells him, "It seems in your anger you killed her." With him screaming, "No!" Then scene changes again to where and Sidious stand together overseeing the construction of the first Death Star. Anakin: "Padme was right. There was still good in me, but I just didn't want to acknowledge it out of shame for everything I had done. I had fulfilled my own nightmare. I truly felt I had no other choice but to play the role of the obedient servant. When it came time to create a new lightsaber Sidious told to use force bleed on a slain Jedi's kyber crystal. When I took the crystal from the Jedi Kirak Infil'a and brought it to Mustafar at a Sith temple to bleed it. It showed me a vision of what I could still be if I chose to destroy Sidious and redeem my friendship with Obi-wan. Instead, I chose to give into my hate my feelings of betrayal and bled it. I later found from surviving archivist Jocasta Nu the list of all force sensitive children. Sidious saw me as now a blunt weapon to be replaced since I was no longer suitable as a vessel. He wanted a new apprentice to do that with. I arrested Jocasta and was on my way back to Sidious when she told the Clone troopers who I was thanks to her guardian droids medical analysis. I through them all to their deaths and slew Jocasta before destroying the list. I felt any reminder of my old life would be a reminder of my failure. I destroyed all traces of my former life so that I would not have to remember. When I destroyed that list, I was guided by selfish desire, but I saved those children from ending up like the inquisitors. I later learned on an investigation which brought me back to Tattooine where my mother was buried, I learned of the existence of my son Luke who I assumed was dead when Padme died. I wanted Padme back, but did not want a clone of her. I wanted the real Padme back. After I completed my fortress palace on Mustafar where my battle with Obi-Wan took place. I found a portal that let my soul leave its body. I saw my whole life where I saw that I was created as result of Sidious using Sith Alchemy to make my mother pregnant. My entire past up to when I found myself again at the Jedi temple where I fought and killed all the masters including Yoda saying, 'Let the past die. Kill it if you must.' I saw Sidious and Obi Wan say, 'I am your father." They battle it out until Sidious kills Kenobi and then Anakin kills him with force lightning colored red to symbolize his hate towards Sidious for never intending to save Padme and using destroy his whole life in service to him. Finally, Padme back and Anakin restored as he was asking her to come with him. Instead saying as her eyes turned red, "Anakin Skywalker is dead!" She falls to her death choking herself. A lightning bolt destroys the vision. Anakin shouts 'No!' I even used a relict to drain the life from Mustafar to bring her back, but that failed to." After realizing there is nothing that can bring Padme back and no way for him to find the redemption, he believed he would find. Then he sees a pillar of light with a person inside holding Anakin's original lightsaber that seems to destroy him. Anakin: "What I would later learn was I was shown how I would be redeemed thanks to my Son Luke, but you will learn about that later. A few months later I found Galen Marrick on Kasyeek and raised him to become my secret apprentice Starkiller." Marrick's force ghost comes into view as Anakin steps aside. As Starkiller shows his life.

Chapter 3: Birth of Rebellion

Starkiller: "Vader, as I knew him then murdered my father and took me to be trained in the ways of the Sith. He and his master wanted me to be just as cold and heartless as they were and their inquisitors. When I met Juno, we slowly became attracted each other and I began to realize not all imperials were cold and callous. Still, I served Vader faithfully and obeyed his will. We hunted down the surviving Jedi, one of which was Ram Kota, a brilliant General who had survived because he had no clones in his brigade when order 66 was given. I thought he was dead when I left him for dead on Nar Shadar. Then it was Master Shaak Ti of the Jedi Council. She warned me I would be betrayed very soon, which turned out to be true when Vader stabbed me in the back when Sidious came. He brought me back and gave me a new mission to instigate a rebellion of the emperor's enemies including Leia and her adoptive father, Senator of Alderron Bail Organa, along with Mon Mothma and others. What they didn't realize, was that I was still taking orders from Vader regarding targets and who to recruit. Juno found out and told me that I would need to make a choice and either continue to serve Vader or become my own master. It all came to a head when Vader attacked the meeting of the rebels and I was again left for dead. While I was out, I remembered all the trials I had experienced in the ruins of the Jedi temple on Corusant and my encounter with the vision of my father on Kasyeek. When I came to, I realized everything about what Vader and Sidious had used me for all along. Juno inspired in me that the fate of the rebellion rested with me and what I would do about it and I chose to save them. I found the first death star before it was finished. There I confronted Vader and Sidious. I fought Vader till he was unable to continue the fight." Rey sees when Sidious tempted him to kill Vader. Kota came running in and using the force to take Sidious's lightsaber, but then Sidious uses force lightning to try and kill him. Starkiller: "I realized that it was really Sidious who was my master from afar, always manipulating and pulling the strings in the shadows. Just out of sight." Starkiller jumps in and fights Sidious while the battle becomes more intense until Starkiller proves he is superior to Sidious, and he has Sidious at his mercy. Sidious: "You were destined to destroy me. Do it, give into your hate. Prove I was right about you." Starkiller is ready to do so until Kota says, "He's beaten. Let it go." Starkiller: "It's a trick! He's stronger then you realize, and he deserves to die for everything he has done." Kota: "That may be true. But if you strike him now out of hate, you will be back to where you started as a slave to the dark side, and he will be the one who has won." Rey is back in the present in the world between the worlds. Starkiller: "I realized Kota was right and chose not to kill him." Back in the past Sidious attacks Kota again and so Starkiller steps in to absorb the lightning and ends up dying while Sidious and Vader stand over his corpse. Vader: "He is dead." Sidious: "Then he is now more powerful than ever. He was meant to root out the rebels, not give them hope. His sacrifice will only inspire them." Vader: "But now we know who your enemies are. I will hunt them down and destroy them. As you always intended, master." Sidious: "You must be relentless Lord Vader. If even a single rebel survives, this rebellion we have invariably created will be our undoing." Starkiller: "Though the force was not through with me even after death, Vader used my corpse to try to clone an army of force users. The force channeled my soul into his best clone and tried to get me to hate everyone I loved to be his destroyer. I escaped his attempt to kill me. I found Kota but was still trying to make sense of myself, and I felt only Juno would be the one to bring me fully back. My search for her brought me to Dagobah and, though I didn't realize it at the time, to master Yoda where we met at the vision cave." (Rey sees all that happens in the cave.) Then after Starkiller exits the cave Yoda says to Starkiller, "What you have seen. Follow it you must." The scene then changes to the attack on Kamino as Starkiller crashes a ship into a building and lands without a scratch. While in pursuit of Vader he faces and battles the other imperfect clones until he finally finds Vader and Juno. Vader: "Bow before me or she dies." Rey watches as the whole scene plays out. Starkiller: "Wait! Wait! I will do as you say, just let her go." Vader: "Find and kill general Kota. If you refuse, the woman dies. You will return to me and give yourself to the dark side. If you resist, she dies. And when your training is complete, you will hunt down and execute the rebel leaders. If you fail, she dies." Juno ignites one of Starkillers lightsabers and is supposedly thrown to her death onto a platform in the pouring rain. This makes Starkiller go into a rage and confront Vader in a fierce battle. Starkiller calls down a lightning attack and is about to kill Vader. Then Kota comes in, "Wait!" Starkiller: You want him dead as much as I do!" Kota: "Yes! But not yet! Not until he has told us the empires secrets!" Starkiller: "You want to take him prisoner?" Kota: "To a hidden rebel base where we can interrogate him, put him on trial for his crimes against the true republic. And then we will execute him to show the rest of the galaxy we don't need to fear him anymore." Starkiller: "If I let him live, he will haunt me forever." Back in the World between the Worlds. Starkiller: "Instead of listening to what I wanted to do to him. I listened to the will of the force and spared him. Juno survived and we were reunited." Showing their kiss. Starkiller: "Before we departed, we destroyed all the clones, the lab, and all DNA records. I even found the corpse of my former self and destroyed it, so that it couldn't be used to create anymore clones. I later went to speak to Vader in his hold." Rey back in the past. Starkiller: "I chose to let you live. You tell me I'm a clone, yet I still chose to spare you. Maybe Kota is right that this is all one big deception. An illusion meant to make me so confused that I would once again become your slave. Either way. I chose to let you live. I have finally broken your hold over me." As he leaves the room Vader says, "As long as she lives, I will always control you." Back in the World between Worlds. Starkiller: "As we made our way to the base, we, were intercepted by a large imperial fleet. During the battle Vader escaped. Kota died defending the bridge from imperial forces. Juno and the others escaped but their escape ships had weak shields and no means of fighting back. So, I stayed behind and used the force to get the engines to overload and to engage the hyper drive while steering directly into the fleet using the force to prevent the star destroyers from escaping. In the last moment before destruction, I told Juno through the force, 'I love you now and forever.' The fleet was destroyed, the rebels were safe, and the empire couldn't make anymore Starkiller clones."

They then go to the door for Malecore. Anakin: "I met Ahsoka along with the fallen Jedi inquisitors under my command, and her rebel allies on the former Sith world Malecore at the Sith temple. Including Kannan Jarrus, who used to be Caleb Dune, and his apprentice Ezra Bridger along with Darth Maul." Kannan stands beside Rey. Anakin: "When I confronted her, I offered to spare her life if she would tell me where the other Jedi were hiding. When she refused, I was willing to torture Ezra to get the information. I told her that I had destroyed Anakin. We battled and when she sliced off part of mask and she saw that it was me." Ahsoka: "I told him I won't leave you. Not again." Anakin: "However I only saw her as a reminder of my failure as a Jedi and resolved to kill her." Ahsoka: "I escaped by Ezra pulling me into the World between the Worlds where we confronted Sidious after teaching Ezra about letting go of the past, those we love whom we can lose, and being selfless as Kannan was when he saved Ezra and his crew. Ezra sealed the portal so Sidious couldn't use it to mess with history and I went back through the other portal back to Malecore" Kannan: "After I had sacrificed my life to save everyone."

Anakin: "I left Malecore believing Ahsoka was dead; and when Obi-Wan and I met again, I killed him. I watched as he became one with the force. Later when I learned Luke's name, I set out to find him. I returned to the home of my mother's other family, the Lars, where my stepbrother Owen and his wife Berru took care of Luke before storm troopers killed them. When I was there, I hid what was going through my head from the imperials but all that was going through my head was the feeling of guilt and failure for all I had done or failed to do. Later I met one of Padmae's look alike who led me to her tomb on Naboo. Once again, I felt her spirit saying I forgive you because I still love you. But I could not acknowledge it because I could not forgive myself." Anakin then takes them to another door to show the time when he and Luke fought in cloud city and revealed he was Luke's father. Luke then shows where he spoke with Yoda on his death bed about it before Yoda said, 'There is another Skywalker'. Merging with the Force after that and then Obi-Wan tells Luke the truth about Vader's identity. Obi-Wan tells Rey. Obi-Wan: "My mistake was not believing in Padmae's last words that there was still good inside Anakin." Luke: "That's also when I realized that Leia was my sister. Later on, Endor I allowed myself to be captured and brought to Vader whom I acknowledge as my father." Rey stands with Anakin and Luke where they had their conversation about leaving the emperor on Endor. Anakin: "Yet I still couldn't bring myself to join my son in his fight against Sidious. I lied to myself by saying there is no conflict in me. That I had no choice but to obey Sidious. Luke left heartbroken while I still denied my true feelings." The scene then changes to when Sidious is tempting Luke to give into his hate and the lightsaber duel between him and Anakin begins. More so after Anakin draws him out by threating to turn Leia to the dark side and defeats Anakin/Vader by slicing off his hand. Sidious laughs in victory with his characteristic cackle. Sidious: "Your hate has made you powerful. Now fulfill your destiny. Strike him done and take your father's place at my side." Luke: "Never! I'll never turn to the dark side. You failed your highness. I am a Jedi. Like my father before me." The scene briefly returns to the World between the Worlds. Luke: "I showed Sidious and my father that my love for my father was greater than I could ever hate him." Back in the memory shown through the door, Sidious: "So be it, Jedi." She sees as Luke is tortured by Sidious with Luke shouting, "Father please!" Sidious: "Now young fool. You will die." When Vader says his quiet 'no' time freezes. Anakin sees his whole life and everything he ever did flash before him. Then Anakin looks around and sees he is out of his body in his original Jedi attire with his flesh restored and seeing himself from the outside as time is still frozen in motion.

Chapter 4: Redemption and Balance Restored

Anakin back in the World between the Worlds then explains to Rey, "This is when I rediscovered myself and my true destiny became clear." Qui-Gon-Jinn: "In no small part thanks to me." Back in the past Rey, sees Qui-Gon materialize in front of Anakin with Anakin saying "What" in shock at seeing Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon: "Anakin in the moment when we feel death is imminent and your entire life flashes before your eyes, where a single moment can feel like an eternity, well that is where the force and I reside. In the center of every eternal moment." Anakin: "No this has to be a trick, an illusion, a... a..." Qui-Gon: "Anakin trust your instincts. You know it's really me." Anakin: "Master how is this possible?" Qui-Gon: "I am part of the Living Force of the entire universe. I went through the training to merge myself with the Force by completely letting go of my material existence, and able to return from the nether world of the Force. All live on after death, for death is not the end of existence or individuality. It is the transition from a brief material life to an eternal one where there is no pain or sorrow, in which evil has no power or presence. Force users, like us, who go through the training of spirit who are willing to completely let go of their material existence and selflessly merge with the force are free to move between the realms of existence and interact with the living as the force wills. In my case, because my training was incomplete, I could only speak as a disembodied voice. This is an ability that had become long forgotten by the Jedi when we no longer followed the will of the force. This is how one obtains true immortality through the Force. Not the way Sidious has. We only interact with the living as the force wills. I taught Yoda this and he taught Obi-Wan. That's why he disappeared when you struck him down. I tried to speak to you, but your raging emotions, and you cutting yourself off from the Force, blocked me out. It was just like when you killed the Tuskins after your mother died, and when I tried to help you on Mortis by telling you to look deeper. You will find another way." Anakin: "Then it really was you I saw not an illusion." Qui Gon: "Yes, but you still couldn't bring yourself to believe it was me. You are able to see me now because you are now finally open to the true nature of the Force and the strength of your connection to it." Anakin: "Why are you here?" Qui Gon: "I am here because your spirit called out for me. I am here to help you rediscover who you really and are to help you fulfill your destiny as I should've before Darth Maul killed me." Anakin weeps in grief. Anakin: "I can't be helped. I am beyond saving." Qui Gon: "Anakin! Stop lying to yourself and acknowledge that you are still Anakin Skywalker. You can lie to others about who you are. You can lie to yourself. But you cannot lie or hide your true self from me or the Force no matter how hard you try to deny it. I know your heart better then you know it yourself." Anakin: "I'm not the chosen one because I didn't restore the balance. I chose to murder the Tuskins. I killed the Jedi including many of the masters, the younglings, even Jocasta and my best friend Obi-Wan. I caused Padme's death and I have caused immeasurable destruction and suffering to countless lives. I deserve nothing but death and oblivion." Qui Gon: "Then why did Luke let himself be captured? Why did he not kill you when Sidious told him to? Why are you now holding yourself accountable for your actions? Because that's what love does. That's what the Force is really all about at its core. Unconditional Love for all life. It is what makes a woman still love and hope for a man who has done terrible things in anger. It is what makes a son forgive a fallen father. And it is what has brought me to you. Love sees you as something worthy of fighting, suffering, and dying for. Padme even acknowledged that on her death bed as you saw in maternity droids recording when she told Obi-Wan that with her last breath she still refused to believe that there was no longer any good left in you. It is the same with Luke now because he has his mother's heart. He inherited another quality from her. A loving spirit that recognizes a lost soul. The good in you that was never destroyed, just forgotten and pushed down is now awakened. You did not want to hold yourself accountable for your actions. You have learned to bury your shame and guilt. I am here to teach you to confront it, to break the chains you have fashioned around yourself, to help you learn to face your demons so that you can save your son and the galaxy." Anakin: "How?" Qui Gon: "By facing that which Sidious used to bend you to his will, to make Vader the shadow of your former self. Anakin face your single greatest fear, for fear born of vain selfishness is the root of all evil and can also be where salvation and redemption are found. What is yours?" Anakin: "I failed to save my mother. I failed to end slavery because of the flaws of the republic. I failed Ahsoka as a teacher and a friend. I failed the Jedi. I failed my wife and children. But I failed myself most of all. I failed to restore the balance. I am the greatest of all failures!" He falls to the ground in tears. Qui Gon: "Anakin look through your tears and see with the clarity they give." Suddenly Anakin sees the parts of the past he never knew. He sees Sidious using Sith magic to create him through the midiclorians, using his influence through the Force with a sample of his blood to get the Tuskins to capture and torture his mother to death, and reveling as Anakin slaughters them. All the things Sidious said about him behind his back. As a failed endeavor as nothing more important in his eyes as a droid. Finally, Anakin sees that Sidious never intended to help him save Padme. He proclaims in secret, "His attachment to her is his greatest weakness. She makes him weak and stands in the way of my ultimate plan. She is nothing but a pain that never goes away. She deserves nothing but death, and if he is the one who does it, all the better!" Back on the death star, "So Sidious only saw me as a means to an end. A weapon to be used and then discarded when I was no longer of use to him. Like all his apprentices before me." Qui Gon: "The Jedi too. That is also why they had to end." Anakin: "How can you say that?" Qui Gon: "Because it is the truth. The Jedi order as we both knew it was just as much the cause for the imbalance as Sidious and the Sith were. For the Jedi were mainly concerned with playing politics and keeping the status quo in the republic as peacekeepers. They served the will of corruptible fallen people instead of serving the pure infallible will of the force as I did my best to do. I learned after death that I really was the only true Jedi before the purge along with your padawan, Ahsoka. Though the Force would have preferred that the Jedi change back to their original way and allegiance to only serve the will of the Force. They refused to adhere and listen to it and so became disconnected and out of tune with it, thus becoming unknowing servants of evil. Like the Sith they only saw the Force as a means to an end. Not something they as force users, you are supposed to listen and obey without question. That is why they were mostly destroyed by Sidious and how he hid in plain sight among them all along. Now the time has come to destroy the other source of the imbalance in Sidious and restore balance to the Force." Anakin: "I can't! Not alone!" Qui Gon: "That is the greatest lie of all. You are not now, nor have you ever been alone, for the Force has always been with you. As have I and even those who loved you in life. Who still do? Though you cannot see them or touch them. Their love has never left you. Let go of all your fear, anger, and despair and open your heart again. You have denied yourself feeling anything genuinely good because of your shame and cutting yourself from the Force. For life with-out feeling isn't life, and without the Force you really can't feel at all. It's time to let that sweet loving brave child you were live again. Feel their love for you. " A long moment passes where it feels like there are two hands of two unseen women of Shime and Padme resting on his shoulders. Then Anakin says, "I can feel them. I can feel that they, along with many of the innocent I have destroyed, have forgiven me. I don't deserve any of it." Qui Gon: "That is what true love does. It has the power to make even one who is in the deepest darkest pit find their way back into the light. You know now that they, along with me and the others, have forgiven you. Now it is time for you to forgive yourself, to save your son and restore the balance." Anakin: "I don't know if I can, what if I..." Qui Gon: "Don't let your mind be clouded with anxiety about the future you cannot know. Keep your focus and concentration here and now where it belongs. I sense you still feel you can't because of your past failures." Anakin: "I have failed so much and so many." Qui Gon: "You believed that a Jedi must never fail. You tried to be strong and found yourself, in your eyes weak, so you put on a show of strength as a cover. Anakin, still the same child I was guided to on Tattooine. Still stuck in the grief that he couldn't save his mother from death. Who convinced himself that he would find a way to stop people from dying because he believed he could not live without them? Never able to truly live in the here and now. Not able to accept what he can't change or control. Cannot see what is right in front of your nose." Anakin: "I was... I was..." Qui Gon: "Guided by good intentions, yes. But you were also hopelessly lost in how you would apply them because you kept seeking the answers in the wrong places and the wrong people instead of where you needed to find them, in the Force. Yes, you sought power and strength for noble reasons, but only found weakness, folly, and failure. Yes, failure most of all. Often failure is actually the greatest teacher, for failure is often an inevitable outcome of our actions. The real test that reveals true character is more often found in failure then in victory." Anakin: "I was unbalanced, unwise, UN..." Qui Gon: "You brought all this misery on yourself and have lived a lie in denial." Anakin sobbing responds, "Your right! It is all my fault. There's no one to blame but me. I'm… I'm…" Qui Gon: "Forgiven." Anakin: "What? I'm what?" Qui-Gon: "Forgiven. If tears are any indication of remorse and regret, yours are. The Force has declared it so. That every misstep and transgression can and shall be forgiven. For what has been done cannot be undone, but all can be and will be forgiven." Anakin still sobbing retorts, "I… I…" Qui Gon: "You lost your mother, Padme, and your sense of right and wrong. You must not lose your son! And you won't, not if you show your son the real Anakin Skywalker." Anakin: "I don't know how." Qui Gon: "Remember what I taught you. Nothing happens by chance. It is merely the will of the Force expressing itself. It's like credit chips. They are only worthless metal with numbers on them that only have value if you redeem them from the promise of money that came with them. It's like your life. You can't see its true value unless you give it completely over to the Force to redeem it. Trade it in for a new Anakin. The Anakin you were always meant to be. The Force wants to give you that, but you need to first want it. Do you want that? I am speaking to the true spirit of Anakin Skywalker! Can you hear me?" Long pause, and then Anakin says, "Yes, help me I'm ready. I am done with pretending to be something and someone I'm not. I'm done being a slave. I won't fail again." Suddenly a dark figure all aflame with red and black flames appears saying in a snarl, "That just a bunch of Jedi junk. He just wants to make you weak again." Qui Gon calmly responds, "I only tell the truth, and it is the truth you need to hear." The dark Anakin angrily reacts in shouting, "Need! Where were you when we needed you? You come after all this time just tell us what you think we need to hear. After everything we've done and everything, we've been through! The loss, the betrayals, the deaths, and the suffering. Who are you to tell us what we need to do you stupid worthless old ghost!" Then a child's hand grabs the dark figures hand that is about to slap Qui Gon shouting, "Enough!" says a child's voice as a child's hand grabs and stops the dark Anakin from assaulting Qui Gon. Turning to see Anakin as he was when was found as a boy stating, "We lost Padme, our mother, the Jedi, Ahsoka, Obi Wan, and now we are about to lose our son. We have lost everyone that has ever mattered to us because of you." Dark Anakin shouts, "I am why we are still alive. I am the true source of your power. He's just wants to make you as weak as you were before you joined Sidious!" Anakin now appearing as he did when he was Obi-Wans apprentice at the beginning of the Clone Wars stating, "No! I've let you consume my mind and my heart for too long. No more!" The dark Anakin grows into a monstrous Great Krayt Dragon shouting, "Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him." Anakin proper then responds, "Then how am I still here, and why do you not attack me. Because you can't, because we are still both halves of the same whole." Dark Anakin: "You are nothing but a nascence to be crushed and then forgotten! No more than a ghost like Qui Gon." Anakin now appear as he did when he was Ahsoka's teacher says, "I see now that you are the real cause of all my suffering. The reason my path has been so dark. Why I chose to serve Sidious despite what the Force was telling me was wrong. You are the source of the imbalance with in me. You are my dark side. You are my anger, vanity, selfishness, greed, frustration, and my hate for all around me and myself. You are the real weak one." Dark Anakin shouts, "You're a fool! What has been done cannot be undone!" Anakin: "You have kept me in darkness from the light that I hid from it in shame, but now I see that it's the source of healing. I also now see clearly that if I just keep fighting you then I will always remain Vader. So instead, I accept that you are my dark side, and I will not fight you anymore, but I also reject the path you embody and instead choose a new one. And you are right about one thing, I can't change the past. But I can choose to change here and now and change my future and find my real destiny." Closing his eyes and clasping his hands Anakin begins to pray, "Oh Will of the great Living Cosmic Force from which all life comes from. Heal this old fool's broken heart. For I need a new heart. Make me into who you need me to be. I know I don't deserve it, but I ask humbly to please forgive me of my transgressions. I give my life to you. I commit my eternal soul to your will." Dark Anakin screams, "Stop it! Stop it! Just Shut up!" Anakin now starts to glow with gold light like a yellow sun as he looks at his dark side as he begins to fade away, "You have kept me blind. But now I finally see, and I forgive you." The dark Anakin in defiance as he fully vanishes, "You need me!" Anakin then sees himself all a glow fully restored asking Qui Gon, "What is this?" Qui-Gon: "You lived in darkness and were surrounded by death. Now the Will of the Force has penetrated your heart and restored it. Now you shine with the light of eternal life." Anakin: "I don't deserve any of this." Qui Gon: "That is what makes it such a blessing. Now you have at last found balance and have ended your curse. A curse born of pride. Through an act of love and humility." Anakin looks at Qui Gon and they hug each other like a son hugging his father. Anakin looks back at himself watching Sidious killing Luke all while still frozen in time. Anakin then says with confidence and assurance, "I know now what I need to do, but I'm afraid it will be the last act I will ever do alive." Qui Gon: "We all now stand beside you in this Anakin." Obi-Wan appears as he did when they fought on Mustafar, "Even I who was willing to give up on you, but I am overjoyed you are back, my friend and my brother." With tears in his eyes, "Same to you Obi-Wan." Yoda appears as well, "Returned to the path of light you have. Thought not possible to turn away from the dark path I did." Mace along with all the other Jedi Anakin had killed even the younglings appear around him. Anakin then looks at them and says sobering, "I'm so sorry, about everything. Can you ever forgive me?" They all say as one, "We forgive you, Master Anakin Skywalker." Anakin: "No one can stop Sidious in this moment but me. And I only have one chance to save everybody from him." Qui Gon: "That's all you've ever needed." As Anakin begins to remerge with his physical self while declaring, "I won't fail again!" He briefly hears Padme's and his mother's voices say, "We love you Anakin forever, and for all eternity." Then finding himself back in his body seeing through his mask lenses he hears Qui Gon, "So shall we finish this together?" Anakin: "Yes master." Qui Gon: "Before your life shall end, I will teach you what you need to know to become like us in order to help the living after your death. We will meet you on the other side." Then as time begins to move forward again Anakin shouts his second, "No!" as he lifts up Sidious to throw him to his death as he attacks Anakin with his force lightning. The scene then changes to where Anakin is about to die, he tells Luke, "Luke, help me take this mask off." Luke: "But you'll die." Anakin: "Nothing! Can stop that now. Just for once let me look on you with my own eyes." Luke removes the mask to reveal Anakin's scarred face. Anakin: "Now go my son. Leave me!" Luke: "I can't, I'm not going to leave you I've got to save you." Anakin: "You already have. You were right about me. Tell your sister. You were right." He dies quietly before Luke flies them out as the death star explodes. Then the scene changes to when Luke sees his father's spirit along with Yoda and Obi-Wan. [Not able to see all the Jedi were there as well.] Then seeing Luke remove the charred and melted helmet from the ashes of the funeral pyre. Then showing Anakin appearing to both Luke and Leia with Anakin explaining everything with R2 showing them Anakin's life from his memories. Anakin: "And that's the whole truth. I know no apology will ever be enough but can you both find it in your hearts to forgive me for what I have done." Leia eventually says, "I don't know if I ever can. But maybe someday I will." Luke then says in response, "I already did when you saved my life by sacrificing your own." Anakin then declares, "And I promise with every fiber of my being. Even if it takes the rest of eternity. I will do everything I am able to do through the Force to make amends for all that I have done." They look at each other with renewed hope. As Anakin begins to fade away, he says, "I love you my children and I always will. Thank you for bringing me home." Back in the World between Worlds Anakin looks at Rey to tell her, "With that one decision to be true to who the Force meant me to be and in humility found the light of love and forgiveness again, I restored the balance. Let what you have experienced in my life be a constant reminder, there is always a way out of darkness, and no matter how lost you may be. You can find redemption and find the correct path for you, guided by the Will of the Force, which leads you to where you need to be when you need to be there. Now you are the chosen one in this moment, along with Ben, who must bring back the balance as I did." Rey: "How?" Leia, "By staying true to who you showed yourself to be when you fought Ben."

Chapter 5: The War Within

Leia steps into view in the World between the Worlds. Leia: "By continuing to be as you showed yourself to be when you healed Ben, when you could have easily killed him." Luke: "Indeed, I failed Ben because I thought his destiny was already chosen for him by Sidious influence. Sidious planted the seeds of evil, but I made them take root and caused him to fall like my father." Anakin: "Just like me Ben believed himself to be beyond any hope of redemption, but you restored his sense of his true self." Leia: "When I learned the truth about Anakin being Vader and that he was my father. I refused to have anything to do with him. Until R2 showed me his unaltered memories of him through his life. After a certain period of time, I was ready to speak with him, and in time I was able to eventually forgive him. As you have forgiven Ben." Rey: "But how do I stop Sidious now that he is restored?" Serenity: "Remember Sidious thinks he is immortal and invincible because he is able to infuse his essence and transfer his soul into a clone body or another beings body by infusing and transferring his corrupt rotten soul into it, and he channels the spirits of all the Sith who came before into and through himself." Rey looks through another door to see her father's past. Serenity: "Your father, Rey, was one of his clones. As was Snoke, who was merely an extension of himself. Unlike Snoke, your father was not strong in the force, so Sidious cast him aside and left him to die. But he underestimated his resolve to prove he was not Sidious. That is when he found and married your mother. That is also why they chose to live on Jaku. To protect you, knowing full well that Sidious feared if there was even the slightest possibility that a child could be born of his blood. Such a child could not just overthrow him, but also could poses the power to destroy him. That is why your parents were taken and killed for refusing to reveal your existence and location. Sidious may have intended to use your father's body as just another eventual vessel for his soul, but the force gave him one with the intent of using Sidious own hubris against himself. Which is what has brought you here. In order to end the cycle, you need to permanently sever Sidious connection to the mortal plane. To do that you must learn the rite of cleansing that purges the essence of an evil force user from all objects that they have infused with their essence." Rey: "Then let's do it." Luke: "Not so fast Rey before you learn how to defeat Sidious you must pass one final trial. The test of spirit that is to face your greatest threat." Rey: "Greater than Sidious, who?" Serenity: "Yourself and the shadow within your soul." Anakin: "Yes, Rey, like what you faced in that vision you had in the remains of the death star. You must face your own potential for evil. This will prove to us, to the Force, and to yourself that you are worthy of the knowledge that will end Sidious and the Sith once and for all. Are you ready?" Rey: "I'm not sure but I'll do my best." Anakin rests his right hand on her left shoulder as she looks up at him, he says, "Then that's good enough for me."

Rey's spirit passes through another door that leads to the world where midiclorians come from. Rey: "What is this world?" Serenity: "This is the foundation of life in your galaxy. There is one such world in every galaxy. This is where the Living Force and the Cosmic Force are united." Her touch causes a mushroom tree to wither and die as its life energy leaves it to become part of the cosmic force. Then with a touch of her finger on a single spore, anew tree instantly grows in. Serenity: "When a living thing dies, its energy flows from the Living Force into the Cosmic Force, and then the Cosmic Force in turn creates new life in the living force by channeling its energy into the midiclorians to fill the void left when that old life ended so that new one that has never existed before can replace it. One defines the other. One strengthens the other. One is renewed by the other. This is the important truth for there is no light or dark, good or evil, in the force. Imbalance stems from twisted freewill. When balance is achieved, life flourishes. When there is too much of one or the other life is destroyed. Sidious is the embodiment of the imbalance that threatens to destroy all life. You need to stop him with that which ends the imbalance. You can only find that when you have found inner balance within yourself." They float to the island of darkness. Serenity: "On that island is all that is unconquered. Face your darkness and you will come out stronger and clearer on who you truly are and what you stand for. Otherwise, you will be corrupted and consumed by darkness and will die. This you must face alone. Before you go remember what I told about the Crondors. And that there are two forms of courage. The courage to stand your ground and fight or stand your ground and peacefully resist. Which of these is stronger only you can answer that. Also, you can either fight fire with fire or burn your opponent and yourself. Or fight fire with what extinguishes it. Rey: "How do I do that? Serenity: "That you must discover yourself. You will find that inside. And remember that you are never alone in the Force. It will be with you always." Serenity vanishes and Rey enters into a large chamber like an arena made of decaying wood.

A voice speaks with Rey's voice, "Rey...Heh Heh Heh." She keeps turning trying to find the voice and doesn't see her own shadow become separate from the walls surface and move on its own. Voice: "Rey! Ha! Ha!" Rey: "Show yourself!" Voice: "Show what you already have within you." Then the Dark Rey, just like the vision she had on the Death Star, appears and attacks. (Standing over all twisted and corrupted.) Dark Rey: "Rey doesn't want to play with me. She thinks I am not important." (Punches and throws her around.) Dark Rey: "You reject my existence and have ignored me for years. Well, I'm not going to stay silent anymore!" Rey then attacks and pins her dark self just before she turns to mist and reconstitutes in front of Rey. Rey: "I choose not to give you power." Dark Rey: "Your own confidence betrays you. Do you hate me? For if you do, then that means you hate yourself." Rey: "You are a liar and a monster. You are not me!" Dark Rey attacks again while shouting, "I am part of you. I am part of all that can choose between light and dark." Rey throws her off into the wall and then declares, "You have no power over me!" Dark Rey: "Yet you spend your time in the decadence of war. Denying what you are and choosing to only believe the best of people instead of accepting that some can't be saved. Who don't even want to be saved. Choosing to blind yourself to the truth that some like Sidious are truly rotten to their core. Your denial is what strengthens mw, and with that I grow inside you. Face me now or I will devour your soul." She violently attacks Rey with greater ferocity than Rey match. Dark Rey: "To deny me, gives me hold over your mind. To hate me, gives me strength. To fight me, gives me power!" Dark Rey gives her a fast upper cut up into the air. Leaps and kicks her so hard into the wall she crashes through the wall into the next chamber." Dark Rey crawls along the walls as Rey staggers on the ground. Dark Rey: "Rejecting me is the worst mistake ever rather than accepting me. The weakness of the Jedi is what gives the Sith like Sidious our grandfather power. You do deserve nothing but death. And I will make the pain last forever because you are weak!" Rey then remembers what Serenity said and declares, "No! I will no longer continue this fight." Dark Rey: "What?!" Rey: "You exist here because I fight you." She then sits in a meditation pose and says, "So instead I choose not to fight you. If I fight you, I am not in balance. So, I will not fight you, and keep myself in balance. And since I choose not to fight you, you no longer exist." Dark Rey screams and leaps at Rey with primal fury only to be repelled by an aura of golden light. She fiercely tries to break through but only becomes weaker and weaker until she is barely able to stand as Rey opens her eyes and the dark one tries to flee but Rey grabs her with a force pull. Rey: "Your power comes from me not being in balance with myself and the force. But you will never have control over me. For it is I who controls you." She pulls the dark version to her so close they are almost touching noses. Rey: "I see that you are my dark side, and I accept you as a part of me. I accept you because if I try to deny the darkness within myself, I run the risk of becoming just as imbalanced as those who ravaged the galaxy. So, I am not going to hate you. Instead, I accept you because I love you. Because I love myself." The dark Rey fades out. Serenity then appears and says, "Well done Rey, you discovered a wisdom that even the wisest of Jedi often fail to discover. That in order to find balance within yourself you must accept with unconditional love your whole self. Especially the dark part you would prefer not to acknowledge." Rey: "The more I tried to resist and fight it by denying it, the more powerful it became until I realized what you said before about the story of the crondors." Serenity: "Indeed, the beast is a part of all sentients who are able to choose between selfishness and selflessness. That brings one's spirit out of balance with the universe and the Force around them and can make them agents of darkness, chaos, and evil. For the beast is you and you are the beast. To deny it only gives it power and a greater hold over you and makes you more vulnerable to being blindsided and consumed by it. For as long as there exists a will in this universe that is free to choose not to serve the will of the Force, evil will always find a way in." Rey: "I think I see now that the only way to fight evil and violence is with love and acceptance. And that the price of freedom and freewill is eternal vigilance both outside and within yourself."

Serenity: "One more test you must face is that you need to pass through the valley of illusion without emotion and without attachment." Then the other Wills appear saying as they become orbs of light, "You will see all our faces, for we are confusion, Anger, Sadness, Joy, and Serenity." And she hears Serenity say as she fades, "Do not trust what you see, but what you feel." As Rey enters the valley she is surrounded by a fog and then she sees that she is back on Exogal where the sky flashes with lighting but no star destroyers. She sees the landscape covered by the ships of her rebel friends. She finds R2 and BB-8 destroyed. She sees Poe lying dead. Then she hears someone coughing and turns to see its Finn. Finn: "Rey..." Rey holds his hands gently then asks, "Finn what happened?" Finn with a flush of anger on his face exclaims, "You failed to stop Sidious! The fleet left and is heading out to every inhabited planet across the galaxy to destroy all who won't submit. Trillions of lives are now going to be lost because of you. Because you failed!" Rey: "No!" Finn: "I hate you! I hate youuuuuuuuuu! And I wish you were dead! Our deaths! Our blood! And countless others are one your hands because you failed!" Rey: "No!" Finn: "I wish you were never born. We needed you and you failed us. I hate you..." He dies and Rey screams, "Nooooooooo! I failed, I failed." She then curls herself into a fetal position. Then she hears a little boy as he comes into sight. The boy: "Rey, you certainly have made quite a mess." Rey: "Go away...GO AWAY! You shouldn't be here. There is only death here, only death." The boy: "Is it. Look again." When Rey looks up, she sees she is in a plaza with fountains and beautiful trees and flowers and birds chirping all around. She sees all her friends restored and alive. Finn walks by saying, "Hey Rey, I'm going to go surfing with Poe and the gang want to join us?" Rey: "Maybe later." Finn: "All right suit yourself. See yah later, Reyalater." The Boy: "Is this not better." Rey: "Yes, so peaceful. Like the way it should have been before the war." The Boy: "Oh there is no war here. Only peace and tranquility." A man calls, "Cade, come here, and if Rey is with you tell her come as well, we want to talk to her." The Boy: "Well we shouldn't keep mom and dad waiting eh big sis." Rey: "Big sis..." The boy runs through people and Rey politely walks pass and through until she finds him with her parents. Rey: "Mom! Dad! No, this is impossible" Rey's Mom: "Darling what's the wrong? You act like you have seen a ghost." Rey's Dad: "Must be stress from training. How yah doing kido?" Rey is speechless as she begins to say, "You're not dead!" Rey's Dad: "Last I checked." The boy Cade is playing with three other children. (Around a man and a woman with their son about Rey's age.) Rey's Mom: "Kids come here please." Rey looks at them perplexed. Rey's Mom: "Whoa! You are really out of it. You act like you don't know your quadruplet younger brothers and sisters Cade, Jon, Amala, and Saline." Then the other family approaches and she sees its Leia, Han, and Ben. Ben: "You ok Rey?" Rey: "I don't know." Leia: "I told you not to over stress yourself." "Take it from me," says Luke as he walks in, "She is always right on these things even when I trained her." Then an older man walks up to them and Rey sees it is Palpatine. Rey: "Sidious!" Rey's father: "Rey is that anyway to address your grandfather?" Palpatine: "It's ok son she sometimes forgets about the time she helped me realize that my quest for power and control was meaningless and helped me find redemption and end the Sith once for all. I thank her every day for that and I am thankful beyond words." Rey's Mom: "As are we, Dad." Palpatine then picks up one of the girls saying, "Wait who is this giant? What have done with my grand-daughter Saline?" Saline: "Heh! Heh! I'm Saline" Rey's Mom: "Now, now let's take it easy with Grandpa." Everyone then starts walking into the building that looks like the chancellor's residence." Rey's Father: "Pays when your teacher is the supreme chancellor. Isn't that right Leia?" Leia: "Sometimes I wish there was a war. Because truth be told thinking military strategies is easier then dealing with politicians." Rey's mother turns back and says, "Sweetheart come and join us inside." Rey is about to follow them when her look changes to anger. Rey: "No! This is all a lie. An illusion, a false vision. This may be how I wish things were, but it is not true." She points at her parents, "I know you are already dead." She then points at Leia, Luke, and Han as she says, "As are you." She turns to Ben stating, "You murdered Han your father, but I healed you after I impaled you during our battle on Endor and then we stood together on Exogal," her attention then turns to Palpatine with his back turned, "against you grandfather Sheeve Palpatine or rather Darth Sidious." He then turns and his face is decrypted and deformed with sickly yellow/orange, black tinted eyes as he was when she last saw him. The sky turns dark. The residence collapses and everyone turns to mist and blow away except Sidious as he ignites his lightsabers and prepares to attack. Rey: "No, none of this real." She closes her eyes and Sidious has both sabers at her neck. Rey: "I'm not afraid." He slashes but the sabers go through her neck like all they hit was air and she opens her eyes to find herself back in the World between the Worlds. Yoda speaks, "Done well you have young Rey. Learned to see not with eyes you have, but with your spirit through the force you have." Rey: "What's next?"

Chapter 6: The Edge of Understanding and the Price of Selflessness

A strange voice speaks, "You have learned how to listen." She turns and sees the spirit of Bendu from Attolore. Then a Loth wolf appears and then changes into Kannan Jarrus, "And what selflessness is. I am Caleb Dune, but I have also been known as Kannan Jarrus." Rey: "What I am to learn? Bendu: "To see through the lie that many sentients trick themselves into believing like those who came before, and those to watch out for in the future. Jedi and Sith claim to serve the Ashla and Bogan. The Light and the Dark. I'm the one in the middle. The Bendu which the ancient predecessors of the Jedi, the Je'daii, were known as mystic center. In time they chose to follow the path that led them to lose the sense of the will of the force. The way that sentients who are out of tune with force follow this path that inevitably leads to destruction of self, society, and even entire worlds. That is why I chose not to get involved." She finds herself on Attolore seeing Kannan's spirit next to his past self-watching what happened when he met Bendu for the first time. Kannan: "When my crew and I, along with my apprentice Ezra came to Attolore to set up a base. I had lost my ability to see with my eyes then Bendu called for me." The scene changes to when they meet. Bendu: "I helped him learn to see without his eyes and realize that objects along with forbidden knowledge cannot make you good or evil, as he had feared from the Sith holocron that he and his apprentice had brought back from Malecore." Rey sees this whole exchange as it happened. Bendu in the past says, "An object cannot make you good or evil. The temptation of power, forbidden knowledge, even the desire to do good can lead some down the wrong path. But only you can change yourself." Kannan: "He continued to help us in his own unique way, but he chose to remain uninvolved until the empire under Admiral Thrawn found us and to get Bendu's aid I called him coward." Seeing how that happened and what resulted with Bendu levitating himself into the air and creating a force storm around himself. Seeing Bendu attack both imperial and rebel ships. Bendu: "I saw them all as a threat to the balance of my world until I was shot down." Showing how he fell and his final conversation with Thrawn. Thrawn: "What sort of creature are you?" Bendu: "One, who is beyond your power to destroy." Thrawn points his gun at Bendu's head but does not fire until after Bendu tells him, "You cannot see it, but I can." Thrawn: "What do you see?" Bendu: "Your defeat. Like so many arms enveloping you in a cold embrace." Thrawn fires but Bendu vanishes with a laugh. The scene then changes to Lothal. Kannan: "When we left Attolore we headed back to Lothal. There we found out about the Loth Wolves and how they were connected to our mission on Lothal. In a mission to rescue Hera the imperial governor of Lothal destroyed the fuel depot for the empire's TIE Defender factory." Rey is watching all this. Kannan: "I died saving everyone and became one with the force." The scene changes to when Ezra is in despair over what happened. Kannan: "I was able to reach Ezra through the Loth Wolves to bring him to the sight of the Jedi Temple on Lothal where the empire was trying to figure out how to access the portal to the World between the Worlds." Rey is looking at the mural of the Mortis Gods. Rey: "Who are they?" The Father and Daughter appear next to her. The Father: "Us." The Daughter: "Minus my brother, The Son, who is no longer with us for he is where the souls of those who serve the dark side of freewill reside for all eternity." The Father then takes them briefly to Mortis. The Father: "This is Mortis which was the force made visible that shows with each day how balance works. My family and I acting as Archetypes for the Force. My Daughter who embodies the Light. My Son the Dark. I the embodiment of balance. Day with night. Death and new birth. That life can continue after it material death. Destruction followed by new creation. I brought Anakin to mortis believing, that as the chosen one, he could replace me to keep my children in balance and so keep the force in balance since I was dying. I was wrong but I also knew that if I died my children that embodied the duel nature of the force in sentients would tear Mortis apart and the universe." Showing The Son murder The Daughter and Anakin use the daughter's life energy to give Ahsoka her life back. Seeing Anakin face the son in the Well of the Dark side to show him his future as Vader. Then finally where they all confront the son, and the father kills himself to take away The Son's power so that Anakin could kill him. The Father: "With my life fading I told Anakin, 'You are the chosen one. You restored balance to this world, and you will do the same for the galaxy, but beware your heart." Rey: "I think I understand what you meant by that." The Daughter: "Never be only one or the other but be like The Father and The Bendu. Follow only the will of the Force and serve it only, not only the part you prefer. Choosing only one over the other leads towards imbalance, chaos, and destruction." Back on Lothal Rey sees Ezra enter the World between the Worlds and uses it to save Ahsoka from her battle with Vader/Anakin on Malecore. Rey then sees Ahsoka speak to Ezra about the potential consequences that could arise if you use the portals to change history, and about the importance of selflessness. Letting go of those we care about so that their spirits and yours can be free. She then sees as they confront Sidious through the portals. Ahsoka: "Sidious wanted access to this place so that he could use it to control the destiny of the entire universe. He failed because only those with pure hearts and intentions can access it." Rey sees Ezra and Ahsoka part while running from the blue flames Sidious uses with Ahsoka back on Malecore and Ezra on Lothal where he then destroys the Jedi temple. The scene changes to on board Thrawns ship as Sidious in a nice man hologram disguise tempts Ezra to open the doorway to World between the Worlds with a section of the Jedi temple that was restored. Sidious takes him to the door and removes his cuffs. Sidious: "There, the controls for the gateway. Activate it and you will be with your parents again." Seeing the whole scene unfold, Rey feels empathy knowing that she would want that too. Ezra: "What about my friends?" Sidious: "If you pull your parents through, they will have never been taken by the empire. They will live. Isn't that what you have always wanted? To have the family that was taken from you. There can be many outcomes, but you must open the door to make that happen." Rey sees Ezra and his parents lock eyes as he says, "Mom, Dad you will always be a part of me, but I have to let you go." Sidious: "No!" Ezra destroys the portal as he hears his parents say, "We love you Ezra." Ezra faces Sidious as he really is. Ezra: "You're wrong, I already have a family. There is nothing from you that I want." Sidious: "Unfortunate." The red imperial guards enter with Sidious ordering, "Destroy him!" The scene then changes to the bridge of the ship as the Purgil attack the Star destroyer and they are about to go into hyperspace. Over the com Hera shouts, "Ezra get out of there now!" Ezra, holding back Thrawn and the storm troopers, "Hera! I have to see this through to the end." Sabine: "Ezra get out of there now!" Ezra: "I can't do that. It's up to all of you now. And remember, the force will be with you always." Kannan: "The student follows the teacher and finds the right path for them for where and when they are needed most." Rey is back in the World between the Worlds says to Kannan, The Bendu, The Father, and The Daughter, "I think I get it. Be vigilant do not focus on only one part of the force or the other but be open to the fullness of it. There is indeed no light side or dark side in the force. That comes from us when are not in balance with ourselves and the force. A wise person admits they don't and can't know everything. That just when you think you know everything you discover how little you actually do understand. That the Force is always on the very edge of the knowable yet still can never fully known or understood. Be open to the will of the Force to do whatever it decides needs to be done to stop evil and restore balance." Rey turns to look at the others, "What's next?"

Chapter 7: Rising above Fear, Pain and Despair

The Wills appear, "Now you need to learn about force lightning in order to protect yourself from Sidious attacks and use it against him." Rey: "Oh no I can't! I won't!" Serenity: "Why?" Rey: "You probably already know." Serenity: "It's still better to hear it from you not for our benefit but for yours." Another door opens and Rey is in the past watching herself and Ben using the force on the transport Rey believed Chewbacca was on. Rey: "Ben was trying to prevent me from stopping the ship. I felt so angry, so determined and so filled with hate towards him and the First Order that in that brief moment all I wanted to do was destroy everything related to the First Order. The rage erupted from within me and shot out of my hand as lightning. I lost control of myself, gave into the rage, and I was left full of shame for what I had done." Back in the 'World between the Worlds' Serenity speaks to her gently, "You found yourself out of balance, and when you felt your rage was out of control and you desired to destroy an obstruction, you let your rage get away from you and it became destructive lightning." Rey: "Yes, I was still joyful beyond words when it was discovered Chewie was in reality alive. But..." Serenity: "You're afraid that if you use lightning you risk becoming just like Sidious, using it as a way to destroy your enemies and wipe out the obstacles in your path." Rey: "Yes." Anger: "Pathetic! You deny a part of what makes you a force user just because it calls on dark emotions. Just like when you denied acknowledging the darkness within yourself. When you denied the truth after learning about your relation to Sidious. Even now after overcoming your own darkness, you still reject that which is a fundamental part of what makes you not only a force user but a sentient period." Rey submissively says, "Yes." Anger: "Then the galaxy and all hope is indeed lost because of you." Serenity: "I am sorry for my cousin's bluntness, but she is still correct. If you reject this part of yourself, you remain vulnerable to it. You must not deny your entire nature. You are a force user and so therefore you are also a lightning maker. We can see through you and know why you are reluctant." Rey: "I just don't want to become like him." Joy: "You have nothing to worry about because you have already proven to yourself you are not Sidious." Rey: "How?" Leia puts her left hand on Rey's shoulder and says, "By remembering what made you angry and what your intended goal was." Rey: "Ren's/Bens Knights of Ren took Chewie. I was afraid they would torture or kill him to find the rebels. I felt I had to save him; and when it felt like I wasn't making a difference, I lost my temper and that's when and the lightning shot out from my hand." Leia: "Because you wanted to save your friend. Someone you cared deeply about. Someone you love." Rey: "Yes." Leia: "You already have seen for yourself that Sidious never cared about anyone but himself. His greed and selfishness fuels his hate. Instead, you were angry for the right reason and even after using the lightning you still stayed true to yourself." Marrick/Starkiller stands beside Rey. Starkiller: "You saw my past. I used lightning more than anyone. Yet I did not let my anger be fueled by hate or desire for more power. I used it to survive. To save and protect. I used it for attack but never for self-gain. I only used what was at hand to accomplish my intended goals. Even among all that, I still had love in my heart for Juno, my friends, and for life as a whole. I used lightning not because it was the easy way, but because I was often given no choice but to use it or risk dying and/or losing those I cared about." Anakin steps in front of her along with Luke, Obi Wan, and Qui Gon. Anakin: "He's right. Lighting is a fundamental part of nature where electrons in the air try to rebalance themselves as they move between atoms due to the imbalance." Luke: "The same in force users." Qui Gon: "The anger brings you out of balance and, when focused, that anger goes out of your fingers to become lightning." Anakin: "You must see it as a lightsaber that comes from yourself. It is precise and deadly. So, you must control your anger while still being able to see your true self and what your motives, intentions, and goals are. Only then can you control and release lightning without destroying yourself in the process. Watch..." Anakin, Luke, Obi Wan, and Qui Gon step out into the middle of one of the paths and begin to create golden electric arcs between their fingers and then each shoot out a force storm. Anakin: "Remember, in order to control the lightning, you need to control and focus your anger, so it is directed where you, and the will of the Force through you, wants it to go." Rey then stands up and says, "I'LL try my best." Yoda: "No don't try do. Do or do not. There is no try." Rey: "What does..." Luke: "He means if all you do is try then that shows you are not giving your all because you don't believe you can. So instead of saying, 'I will try do it,' tell yourself 'I will do it.' For its inevitable you will fail. As I did I in my training. Leia in hers and all of us. Each of us failed at some point but you know now that one is only a true failure when they give up on doing better than they did before. You may fail as we each failed, but there is no "try." All we can do is do our best and see if and how we can do better." Rey contemplates before responding, "I think I understand master." Anger: "Let's see if you do, for I will be the one to train you. And I don't care if it takes forever because we have nothing but time here. So, let's begin." Leia: "Just know that we are only here to give you moral support. We cannot interfere. Anger will be unpleasant, but she is the best one to train you. Just endure and keep pushing forward. Don't let the pain stop you." Anger: "Let's begin, and do not disappoint us young one."

Chapter 8: "Lightning Training

Rey stands across from Anger who stands on the path she is also on. Anger shoots red lighting that hits Rey and sends her flying back shouting in pain. Anger: "Pathetic! Were you more aware and focused, you would've anticipated that. Again!" Rey stands up and is struck down by another attack. Anger: "Are you even trying! Get up! Again!" Again, she is struck down by the lightning. Anger: "Remember basic physics. Opposites attract same repels. Again!" She shoots lighting at Rey this time still standing but still in pain as the electricity arcs across her body. Yet this time is still able to stand after the attack. Anger: "Good, better then when you started. Let's see if you can do better yet. Just remember I don't get tired, run out of energy, or feel pity for you. So, don't let your guard down. Again!" This time the red lighting is staying only on Rey's arms. The attack ends while she is still standing, and her arms have burns that heal almost instantly. Anger shouts, "Again!" Now Rey is keeping the lighting in her hands like Yoda did when he fought Sidious until her concentration breaks and Rey is hit with the full blast and is thrown back. Rey curls up on the ground in agony. Anger: "You are the one who is supposed to save the galaxy from the Sith. Who is it who really needs saving, the galaxy or you?" Rey tries to get back up but is struck down again and is lying in the fetal position again. Anger: "You expect me to help you, so that you can help save others. How can I help you to help save them if you're not able to help or save yourself? Get up! Again! Or is the pain too much to bear?" Rey: "What am I to do? She's right, my fear of Sidious and the pain is always going to hold me back." Rey then looks up and all the masters change to the way they looked in their prime with expressions of encouragement. Rey: "Unless the fear and the pain are just in my head. It's just an excuse. Master Skywalker is right I need to concentrate and focus my anger. Control it, sharpen it, and give it form and direction." Rey stands up with renewed strength. Anger: "Again!" She shoots her lighting at Rey and this time Rey keeps it concentrated in front of her and prevents it from touching her. Anger pours it on more intensely. Rey is pushed back and then absorbs the lighting and sends it back at Anger who deflects it away. Anger: "Better. But not good enough, now it's time to go full on and I am not holding back for an instant. So you better not!" She attacks with Rey containing it with a repelling field and sending it back at her. Anger then captures it, amplifies it, and sends it back at her and it explodes. Suddenly there are multiple Anger duplicates that Rey then uses purple and blue lightning on only see they are illusions. The real one appears from behind and force chokes Rey, turns Rey to face her, and then shoots Rey with her lightning and throws her down. Rey gets back on her feet, unwilling to give up and stay down. Anger then gathers her strength and floats in mid-space for her final attack and shoots her lightning at Rey, who absorbs, amplifies, and then shoots it back at Anger which shocks her to everyone's amazement. Anger does the same as they go back and forth three more times. Anger, standing on the path where Rey is goes full power and shoots everything, she's got at Rey who is stumbles back. Rey then begins to push forward as Anger keeps pouring it on. Rey keeps moving until her hands are almost touching Anger's hands. Then with one last push Rey grabs hands and white a flash fills the space. When it clears Rey is still standing while her hands and Angers are still joined. Rey lets go and backs away. Then Anger bows her head to Rey, and she does the same in turn. Leia: "Well, how'd she do?" Anger with disgust shouts, "Blah! She is terrible! A disgrace!" Then her tone softens when she says, "But it no longer disgusts me to look her in the eyes and watch her fight." Joy: "Don't worry, Rey, that's her highest compliment. It's her way of saying you passed." Serenity comes into view and Rey says, "May I ask you a question?" Serenity: "Ask whatever you need answered." Rey: "What are you exactly and why are there five of you? Are you five separate beings or one being in five parts?" Serenity: "The latter is true. I am one single being in five parts. Embodying the separate parts of the force in sentients. Five bodies, five different personalities, but one single soul. It is not something that can be understood while you still live a mortal material existence. Those mysteries will only be answered and made clear when your time in the mortal plane is over. Until then, learn to enjoy the mysterious nature of the force." Rey: "Is my training here complete?" Serenity: "Almost, but there are still two last lessons you need to learn before you can face Sidious. The first you must learn from another teacher, Master Plo Koon." Master Plo appears without his lenses caps or mask. Master Plo: "I will teach another form of force lightning that will be even more effective on Darth Sidious which no other Jedi, not even Master Yoda used. It's called electric judgement."

Chapter 9: Judgement

Master Plo: "This I have used on a few occasions. At the distress of the council, because they thought all force lightning as only a tool of the dark side. That is true for most lightning because, as you have experienced, it usually comes as a result of great anger and rage. You have learned how to make lightning without fully giving over to darkness. This you can use, not as a product of anger and rage, but instead as a product of a balanced heart that seeks justice. It is made better when one is in balance and humbly allows the force to work through them. This makes it infinitely more powerful than the type the Sith use because this one is born of pure good not evil. The way it works, as I can best describe, is that it uses the imbalance and darkness within those who walk the path of darkness to turn all that is dark, corrupt, and evil in their hearts against them. If the force sees there is the possibility of redemption, it doesn't kill them, only temporarily immobilizes them. But for those who do not seek redemption and still want to serve the darkness within themselves it kills instantly. In short, what happens as a result of using it all depends on the will of the force, as it decides what is best and just to restore and preserve balance. Do you understand?" Rey: "I think so Master Plo." Master Plo: "Then let us see. Now feel the force around you and within you. Let its will guide you. Freely without ego or your own desires, let the energy of the Force flow through you and out of your fingers. Feel all emotions but do not be directed by anger or desire for destruction, but instead to an innate sense of justice. Listen to that still small non-audible voice that speaks, not to your mind, but to your spirit that always tells you the truth. It is the one that tells you the real difference between right and wrong. The voice that instills a sense of pure justice and tells you what is right in the eyes of eternity and what needs to be done. Now, let that sense of justice flow out from your spirit, into your hands and out through your fingers." She does all this, and golden lighting comes out of her fingers. Rey: "It feels completely different. Not angry or destructive, but peaceful and joyful for life." Master Plo: "There is a reason for that, for you are more attune to the true will of the Force then most of us were in life. The electric judgement works properly when used from your inner core sense of justice. But in order for the strongest and most effective form of it to be used, the user must first be humble and must not trust or rely on themselves only. For to wield the greatest of power one must first be absolutely humble in use of the Force." Rey: "What does that mean?" Master Plo: "I only learned this after I died, but the truth in what makes this the single most powerful force power of all, is not because of what it is, but where and who it comes from. This is at its most effective in stopping evil when you humble yourself completely and fully submit to the will of the Force and let go of all personal pride and self-righteousness. For it is the will of the Force, not yours, that is where true impartial judgement that is free of all bias and prejudice, comes from. When you use it, you need to remember that it is not you who is the judge or the executioner. For you are still flawed and are able to make mistakes in judgement. The Force judges based on unconditional love for all life and seeks only to preserve the balance that makes it so life can flourish. That is why often when I have used it, it didn't kill the person I used it on. For the Force sees when an individual has the potential to find redemption and become an agent for good. For a heart is capable of changing even in life's final moment. So, all must be given that chance, even though some hearts are already dead before the body is. In seeking balance, the force inspires in us the will to forgive those who bring chaos and destruction, in the hope they can yet choose a path that favors a selfless life full of love and light. Those who won't change are judged guilty and die instantly because of that unwillingness to change for the better. Always remember this, Rey, never take credit or honor for works of the force. The Force is the perfect judge and balance bringer while you are only a tool, an instrument that can freely choose to be the means by which the will of the Force is fulfilled. Keep that alive when you face Sidious." Rey: "I will, I promise. With the Force as my witness, I promise I will only serve the will of the Force and be its means of bringing justice."

Chapter 10: Sacrifice

Serenity appears again to tell Rey, "You have the tools you need to face Sidious, but to truly end his blight on the galaxy you still need to learn another lesson about defeating great evil." Rey: "What is it?" A young Twilek female materializes in all a shine in blue. She appears not much older than Rey is now. Rey: "Who are you?" "I am Tasha Ryo, and I will show and tell you how the Force used me to save the galaxy and the entire universe from a force of terrible evil" says Tasha. She guides Rey to another door that they step through and Rey finds herself on another unfamiliar planet under nine floating double-inverted pyramid ships. Rey: "What is this place?" Tasha Ryo: "This is the planet Tython. This world reflected the state of the Force in those who lived here. I was a Ranger in the order from which the Jedi, as you know them, branched off before branching again to become The Jedi and The Sith. We were called the Je'daii, which means mystic center, and our purpose was to always find a state of balance within so that our world would also stay in balance." They both look up at the sky and see two moons. One is light and full of color and the other is dark and foreboding. Tasha: "Those moons visually show the duel nature of the Force. The light is Ashla and the dark is Bogan. They always reminded us that the light cannot exist without the dark and vice versa. You can't have or recognize good without the contrast of evil, much like the story of the Crondors that Serenity told you earlier. They also helped to remind of the importance of finding inner balance." A force storm erupts in the sky. Tasha Ryo: "When balance was not achieved, terrible storms would ravage Tython." Then the storm vanishes as soon as it began. Tasha then shows the history of the Je'daii. Tasha Ryo: "The pyramid ships you see are the Tho Yor." Rey: "Where did they come from, and who built them?" Tasha Ryo: "You have already met them. They are the ones you as Serenity and the Whills." Rey looks at Serenity and the Whills again with wonder. Tasha Ryo: "Long ago the nine Tho Yor ships went across the galaxy to distant worlds seeking out those strong in the Force. Those who could hear the pyramids speak to them were able to enter and were brought to Tython. Humans, Wookie's, my people, and many others. Even those whose race name would eventually become equated with evil, the Sith. All were brought to Tython to learn and grow deeper in their connection to the Force." Tasha shows Rey a scene involving a pair of twins, brother and sister. The sister is able to levitate a boulder while the brother tries but can't. Tasha: "However not every child born of a Je'daii would be born able to use the abilities that a Force sensitive could. For those who could, they remained on Tython to master their abilities and all that the Force made possible for them to do. While those who could not had to leave and live on the other habitable planets of the system. As time went on the non-Force sensitive descendants became estranged from their relatives, and in time conflicts broke out between clans and factions. The Je'daii intervened as the Force willed to preserve balance. One of those became known as the Despot Queen Hadia. She was responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands, including the parents of my friend and fellow ranger, Ti'ra Saa. My other Ranger friend was a Sith named Sek'nos Rath. He was always testing with Force lightning to the aggravation of his grandmother." Tasha shows Rey her family situation. Tasha Ryo: "As for me I, was being pulled in two different directions because my father was Barron Ryo, the head of clan Ryo, a crime family. My mother was a Je'daii master, and they were always putting me in a position to choose to live and serve with only one or the other, not both. What I wanted most was to serve the Force, under the original code that the small still voice of the Force inspired in the first teachers." The scene changes to when the first masters recite the code and tell it to the children saying, "There is no ignorance. There is knowledge. There is no fear, there is power. I am the heart of the Force. I am the revealing fire of light. I am the mystery of darkness. In balance with chaos and harmony, immortal in the Force." The Scene changes to when Xesh/Tau arrived on Tython. Tasha Ryo: "One day we were all drawn to a Force user named Xesh who was so unbalanced that his presence caused a terrible Force storm to envelope the part of Tython his ship crashed on. We fought him until we were attacked by a chasm worm, which he then helped us to defeat. When Xesh was struck by a lightning bolt guided by the masters. Tira ignited his force saber and was prepared to kill him. He actually says, 'When your people prepare me for eating, you may have the honor of eating my heart." The scene changes to when Tasha spoke with Xesh. Tasha: "I used Force telepathy to see into his memories, and what I saw was horrible. I later learned that these dark ones, the Rakata, as they were known, were the greatest evil in the galaxy at the time. They destroyed and enslaved planets, used Force sensitives as a source of power for their ships and brutally trained some of them to be their Force hounds. Anyone who failed was eaten and the Rakata would kill and eat their own rivals. Some while they were still alive. When they eventually came, I worked with others as force seers. I could see into their fleets and see into the future what their next move would be. When the leader of the Rakatan, Predor Skal'nas, fleet learned of this he used Tau, as we later learned was his real name, along with another force hound to blind me. Not before learning why they came to Tython. To find the Infinity gate. A device that allows one to cross the vast distances of space with-out a ship and the master gate was on Tython. My friends had their own missions while I along with my teacher went to consult the holocron of A'nag Kwa, who had told us about the Rakata, about what we had to do to stop them." The scene changes to where Tasha sacrifices herself to save Tython. Tasha: "A'nag Kwa said that it was the Tho Yor that could stop the Rakata, but it could only be done by a force seer who voluntarily of their own freewill surrendered their mortal life to destroy the fleet. I realized this was what the force had guided me to and in that moment, I chose to do what needed to be done to stop the Rakata from potentially ravaging the universe." Rey sees as Tasha's body is vaporized and then sees the Tho Yor destroy the Rakata fleet. Then Rey sees Tau come to his senses and slays the Skal'nas as the infinity gate is destroyed. Tasha: "After the war I returned as a Force Ghost to help my friends who were deeply emotionally scarred by the war, but then a great division arose among the masters as many decided that they devote themselves only to serve the people instead of serving them along with the force and others disagreed. This resulted in the great force war which led to the creation of the Jedi. I knew my friends did not want to go through another war, so I led them and a handful of others through a portal into the World between the Worlds to a planet that presently is still in the unknown region of the galaxy. Where they began a new life and could focus on finding and sustaining peace." Back in the World between the Worlds Tasha says to Rey, "Remember well what you have seen and learned from my life's story. Sometimes in order to achieve a perfect victory against evil in the name of love. You must be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, your very life. For Sidious is ruled and filled with selfishness and so can never obtain or ultimate power. For it requires absolute selflessness and submitting to the Will of the Force in order to do. Learn from this well my friend and may you bring victory to this conflict as I did through my sacrifice. But if your destiny is not to die, then trust in the force to guide your future footsteps. Until then, the force will be with always." Then another appears saying, "I wish I had listened to what the Force told me. My name is Satele Shan, I was once the grand master of the Jedi order during the old republic during our conflict with The Sith Emperor Tenebrae. It could've stopped me from making the worst choice I ever made." She leads Rey to another door and begins to show Rey her past. Showing her as a young padawan leaving her baby in the care of another Jedi. Statle: "I was young, impetuous, didn't always think things through, and I had a secret affair with a republic trooper commander Jace Malcom. I ended our relationship fearing that becoming too attached to him would cause to fall to the dark side, When I later learned I was pregnant I was terrified that I would be expelled from the Jedi for breaking the code and I was afraid of him becoming involved in the war with the Sith. I did not possess any practical skills at the time, and I was so scared I wouldn't be able to provide my son with what he would need. Especially after discovering he was a non-force sensitive. I didn't know what to do as the delivery day approached. So, I meditated deep into the Force for guidance. I was told to keep him. I realized I had a choice between two paths I could walk. One swallow my fear and go tell the Jedi council the truth and accept the consequences of my actions. So that I could be the mother my son needed. Or two, leave his fate to be decided by the force. I thought long and hard and made what I thought at the time made the most sense that involved the least amount of consequences. I left him in the care of my friend and fellow Jedi Nagani Zho and returned to the Jedi where I eventually became the grand master and eventually became a crucial member in the republics SIS." The scene changes to when she and her meet for the first time when he is seventeen and is a gang member. Statele: "When we met for the first time in years, after he learned about who is mother was, it was not a pleasant experience. I tried to reconcile, but he turned me down and left." Scene changes again to after the Eternal Empire of Zacule destroyed most of the Jedi along with the Sith, the republic, and even the empire. Statle: "I was so lost that I renounced the title of grand master and like Luke Skywalker went in self-induced exile. There I met with another survivor. Darth Malgus, one of the leading members of the Sith Empires dark council. We met, argued, and eventually found an understanding that eventually led Malgus to find redemption. So that after he died, he returned as a force ghost so that we could teach the one, called the Outlander at the time, what we could to help him stop the emperor." Scene changes to after the war. Statle: "When the war was truly over, I was inspired to immediately begin training a new generation of Jedi but decided to not accept becoming the grand master again." Scene changes to where she and her son Theron meet again. Statle: "We were able to eventually come an understanding and it helped mend what was between us in part. I explained why I did what I did. I admitted that I did not do the smart thing, or the right thing. Which was listen to the Force and go where it was guiding me. But I did try to do what I believed was a loving thing. Though he made it clear that nothing could ever fully make amends for I did and that he made it clear he would never completely accept me as his mother. Still when my time among living ended, he did visit my memorial and forgave me." She and Rey return to The World between the Worlds where Statle then tells her, "Now I am not complaining for how things turned out, but I gave said to myself. 'If I was ever given the chance to live it all over again up to that moment where the paths were open to me. I would go where the Force was directing me. To be a good mother for my son. Take what I did as an example for this reason. Whatever you do, assuming you do survive, don't make the same mistake I made. Listen to the Force. Listen to that still small voice that speaks to your spirit that always tells you the answer you need, not the answer you want and follow it wherever it leads you. For often the worst mistake you can make is to go your own way for what you believe is the easy way. For often, as you have already experienced, the hard way is the correct way. Also, if you get the chance promise you will do this. No matter what anyone tells you or thinks otherwise you must never put your responsibilities to the galaxy before your most important responsibility. Being a good role model for your own children to follow in. Find someone you love who loves you for you and who feels deeply the same about you. Raise a family and teach them to always treat and value the lives of others as you want them to treat and value you. For parents and teachers are not a goal or a finish line to reach. We are the starting line and the guide. Once we take you as far as we are able to. From that point on, it's all up to you. For we are simply what you and all children grow beyond." Rey: "Thank you, Master." All the past Jedi and good force users gather around as Serenity along with the other Wills speaks to Rey. Serenity: "One final thing you must learn in relation to all you have learned already. Rey: "What is it I must still learn?" Serenity: "You have experienced and learned the lessons the past has shown. That complacency can give evil an opportunity to destroy and corrupt that which is good. Redemption from darkness can be found and hope restored from the most unlikely of places and people. You can only find balance by not being in conflict with yourself, that both aspects of your nature can aid you in your struggles. That the energy of the Force is not inherently good or evil; how one chooses to use it makes all the difference. That there is no true light or dark side in the Force for the source of that conflict that breeds imbalance exist in those who are able to choose between them. That as long as there are those who believe only the light or the dark can achieve a purpose, there is no end to the conflict that ensues. The only resolution is to accept both sides as part of the same whole and not be blinded by neither. To restore external balance, you must find and restore balance inside yourself through the Force. No one is truly beyond redemption unless they don't want it. The only ally you can fully trust and rely on is the Force as it guides you. You must fight the fire of evil and chaos with what will extinguish it. You must fight it with love because some people are still worth saving in the eyes of the Force even when other people disagree. And of course, serving the will of the Force means humbling yourself to let the Force judge who can and who can't be saved from darkness." Rey: "Then what is the thing you need to teach me?" Serenity: "By choosing to let the Force judge, you will also be the means by which the ritual of purification can be accomplished."

Chapter 11: Ending the cycle

Rey: "Purification?" Serenity: "Remember how Sidious continued to live on even after Anakin destroyed his body. How he used you and Ben to restore his present decaying form." Rey: "Yes, like he was sucking the life out of us." Serenity: "He has used the same technique as the first Sith emperor, Tenebrae, used to continue after death." She shows Rey through another door Tenebrae's story. Serenity: "He was the lesser son of a Sith lord who used the dark side to drain the life energy from all living things on his home planet. But he also cursed himself in the process to a perpetual decaying body. Then he learned how he could transfer his essence and infuse his soul into the bodies of other people, making them the Children of the Emperor. This is how he lived for so long like Sidious. By transferring his soul from body to body. His last body was that of the Emperor Valkorion of the Zackul Empire, and he used its resources to destroy both the Republic and the Sith Empire. When that body was destroyed, he inhabited the body of the leader of the galactic alliance and sought to use it to accomplish his ultimate goal of using the reeve ritual on the entire galaxy to make himself an immortal possessing absolute power. However, the Force used his family, his pride, and the one he saw as a means to ultimate power only to be defeated and expelled. Only for his soul to return to his original body which was a lifeless corpse in a tomb to await an unfortunate person to become its new vessel. But a short time later a former child of the emperor, Kira Carsen, and his former personal enforcer or wrath turned friend of the Jedi, Lord Scourge, found and destroyed Tenebrae's body. With that, his soul no longer had any way to remain in the material realm and so his reign of terror was brought to a permanent end. Others who have used the electric judgement used it in the same way. By letting the will of the Force be done through them, the essence and souls of evil force users are forever severed from the mortal plane. Even if you manage to destroy Sidious' body. He can easily jump into a clone or someone willing to be the vessel for his soul, as he tempted you to do." Rey: "So you're telling me that the only way to end his presence and reign forever is to use the electric judgement to purge his essence from everything he has infused it into." Serenity: "Not only him. He is now also the conduit for the souls of all the Sith as well as the souls of all evil Force users across the universe. He has bound them all to himself." Rey: "Severing his connection to the material plane will sever theirs as well." Yoda: "Thus the prophecy of the Sith being destroyed and the balance in the Force will be." Showing her his past after he returned from Malecore on his journey of discovery at the behest of Serenity. Rey stands next to Yoda watching himself in the Jedi Temple courtyard on Corusant. Yoda as speaks to masters Windu and Kenobi, "No longer certain that one ever truly wins a war I am. For in fighting the battles the bloodshed, already lost we have. Yet open to us a path remains. That unknown to the Sith is. Through this path victory we may yet find. Not victory in the clone wars, but a victory for all time." Back in The World between The Worlds Yoda turns to Rey to say, "That victory at hand now is. We are what you beyond must now grow." Rey then asks a general question to everyone, "Does everyone, even those not able to use force abilities, live on after death?" Anakin: "The simple answer to that Rey is, we can't tell you. Not that we choose not to, it's that we genially can't." Luke: "For death is meant to be the ultimate mystery along with how life began." Leia: "That unknowing is meant to give you a reason to treasure every moment you live and to encourage you work to leave a good legacy for future generations to follow." Qui Gon: "You must learn to enjoy the mystery and take a leap of faith into the unknown. For in the end that's all living for now and tomorrow comes down to." Rey: "Steps and leaps of faith."

Chapter 12: Letting Go of the Past and Moving Forward

Rey feels a twinge and sees a small gathering of lights that seem to beckon her to follow them. As she does, she hears voices like notes on the wind. The lights bring her to another door. As the vision becomes clear, she sees her parents frozen in time on the ship they were taken on, while being interrogated by the one who captured and murdered them as ordered by Sidious. Rey: "Why am I being shown this?" Serenity: "The Force wants to give you this gift." Rey turns to face Serenity confused, "Gift? What gift?" Serenity: "To have what your spirit has needed for so long, the closure that will allow you to at last move forward." Rey distraught says, "But can't I..." Serenity: "Say goodbye and let them tell you what they need to tell you." Rey enters the door and finds herself on the ship seeing her parents' souls out of their bodies just as their bodies are about to be killed. They all lock eyes and stare at each other for what seems an eternity. Rey's dad asks, "Who are you? And, what's going on?" Rey responds, "Daddy." Her parents are so confused, but Rey's mother recognizing her instantly and softly says, "Rey. Is it you."? Rey responds with tears of joy, "It's me, mother." Rey's dad then retorts, "Can't be. Rey is only seven." Rey: "It is me, dad. I am your daughter from twelve years in the future, and for some reason the Force brought me back here to you." She then sadly tells them, "To say goodbye." Rey's mom looks back at their bodies and then says, "We're not coming out of this alive, are we?" Rey shakes her head. She then tells her parents, "We only have this moment." Rey's dad, realizing that everything she said is true, responds "Then let's make it count. And I think I know what to do." He walks up to her and gives her the best hug Rey has ever imagined with her mother immediately joining in. Tears of joy flowing down their cheeks. Rey: "I lost you guys and tried to convince myself that you would come back. But I knew that you wouldn't because you were dead. I just never allowed myself to believe I'd get to see and hold you again. And now that I can, how can I ever let you go after all...this...?" Rey's mom comforts her by saying," Hey...Hey... sweetie come on don't be sad. I don't know how, but I just know we're going to be OK. That even if we are to die here, we'll always be with you." Rey's father holds Rey at arm's length and says in response, "That's right darling, even if you can't see us, hear us, or touch us, we will always be with you. Do you know why?" Rey shakes her head again. Rey's dad: "Because we love you. So much that we are willing to die for you. At this point, all that matters to us is that you are safe so that you can do what you have been called to do. So, we are not afraid to die here, and seeing you so grown up means that our deaths were not in vain." Rey: "Was it worth it?" Rey's mom: "Even if we had to die like this a thousand times, it is worth it because you are worth it. My sweet child." Rey then asks, "Could you have saved yourselves?" Rey's mom responds with, "We will never know what could have happened, dear. But what will happen is a different matter completely." Rey with a look of fear says, "I'm afraid I'm not strong enough." Rey's dad gently puts his hand on her right shoulder as he says, "Not on your own, of course. But something tells me you won't face what you are about to face alone. A single strand will break, but many who are tied together are strong enough to endure the strain." Rey's mom then tells her in response, "He's right. I just know you will not stand alone in your struggles." They hug a second time and then stand at arm's length from each other as Rey's dad says, "Make us a promise our mighty warrior. Save the galaxy. Nah, save the universe sounds better." Rey sobbingly responds, "What if I can't?" Rey's mom: "Just do your best and let destiny, or The Force, handle the rest." Rey: "But what if my best isn't good enough?" Rey's parents then both say together, "As long as you act with love in your heart. Then whatever you do, it's good enough for us." Rey's Mom holds her tenderly and says, "Rey honey, always remember that love will always guide you to where you are needed. Though sometimes the journey is fraught with many perils, love will guide you to where you are needed at the moment you need to be there, and to those who need you. And whenever you don't know what to do or where to go as you take the journey, never be too proud to turn to your spirit and ask from it to help you learn to always accept the things you cannot change or control; to give you the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference." They all hug one more time with Rey saying so sweetly, "I love you." Her parents, as they begin to fade away, say, "We love you too, our darling, now, forever and always." Rey finds herself back in the World between the Worlds standing infront of another door watching a woman on her death bed. She sees that the dying woman is surrounded by many people who have come to see her in her final hour. Rey sees her tenderly touch the children whom she knows must be the woman's grandchildren or great grandchildren. As the old woman exhales her final breath, Rey sees her vanish while the two oldest adults there are saying, "Goodbye mother. She is now one with the Force and is with the masters of the past. Now she belongs to the ages for all time." Just as Rey realizes, "Wait! Was that..." "Me," says a voice that makes Rey turn around to see the old woman all a glow as a Force spirit. She then stares as the old woman reverse ages and becomes an adult version of Rey. Future Rey then says, "That's right. That was me, or rather us, surrounded by our loved ones as we became one with the Force after saving everyone from Sidious and giving the galaxy a new beginning. We left the mortal plain fulfilled." Rey: "Incredible, so you're saying if I go back now then you and what I saw in my vision will be my future?" Future Rey rest her right hand on Rey's left shoulder as she responds, "Well that's all up to you. For the future is not set-in stone. For the future is always in a state of change and that means that are an infinite number of possible futures that result from the choices you make here and now. Whatever pitfalls and failures you experience, you must always be ready and willing to pick yourself back up. Learn the lessons you need from the past, then let it go. Live and keep your concentration in the present, look ahead, and just keep moving forward." Rey then asks her future self, "Does this mean we, I, do defeat Sidious?" Future Rey: "You can only find that answer in your own time." Rey chuckles and then says, "You know I just somehow knew you would say something like that." Future Rey: "That's because we are one amazing girl!" They hug and Future Rey fades out as Rey looks back at her friends and mentors who are smiling now that she is hopeful again.

Chapter 13: Facing Destiny

Rey turns around and looks through the door that goes back to Exogal. She sees that everything is still frozen in time with nothing has happened since she entered into The World between the Worlds. Sidious is still shooting up a force storm to disable the rebel fleet and her body is still lying on the ground looking up at the destruction. Rey's spirit then turns back to face all the masters that have helped her learn all the lessons that she has learned while in the World between the Worlds. She says, "Thank you for everything you have taught me. Even the lessons that were harder on me than others. I will do my best to be the conduit for the will of the Force to end Sidious and the Sith forever. Before I go, I have to tell you all something. A decision I have made." They all look at her curious about what she will say. Rey: "Everything I have seen, experienced, and learned is that love is the greatest power the Force gives all sentient's. It's love that makes us selfless and willing to risk our lives for others. Love that helps us rise out of despair to find hope renewed. Love that is able to redeem us from our darkest circumstances. That a person, and even a family name, can be redeemed. What I am saying is that I have chosen what my family name shall be. A name that gives hope that anyone can be saved and redeemed from even their darkest circumstances. From this moment on I will no longer be Rey, who comes from nowhere, or a Palpatine. But instead, the name that will inspire hope of redemption. From moment on I will be called Rey SKYWALKER." The others look perplexed. Then Leia starts clapping. Then Luke and Anakin join in. Until all of them are clapping in approval. Anakin walks up to Rey to say, "You honor us by doing so." Yoda: "So you are the other Skywalker the Force foretold to me, destroy the Sith you will. Thought it Luke's sister, Leia, I did. But wrong in my understanding I was. It is the Skywalker by choice, yes." Rey takes another look at all of them before walking through the door back to Exogal. Time begins moving forward, and Rey is once again on the ground with the spirits of the Jedi she saw who are now able to physically manifest themselves appear to her while the others are only voices. Those she sees are Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Luke, Leia, Ahsoka, Kannan and the Wills along with the voices of the other past Jedi. Obi-Wan: "These are your final steps Rey. Rise and take them." Anakin: "Rey." Ahsoka: "Rey." Kannan: "Rey." Anakin: "Bring back the balance Rey, as I did." Luminara: "Be the light in the darkness Rey." Mace: "You are not alone Rey." Yoda: "No, alone never have you been." Qui-Gon: "Every Jedi who has ever lived stands beside you now." Anakin: "The Force surrounds you Rey." Aayla: "Let it Guide you." Ahsoka: "As it guided us." Mace: "Feel the Force flowing through you Rey." Kannan: "Let it lift you." Gallia: "Rise Rey." Qui Gon: "We all stand with you Rey." Yoda: "Rise in the Force." Kannan: "In the heart of a Jedi lies their strength." All the rest encourage her and say, "Rise." Luke and Leia both stand beside her with Luke on her left and Leia on her right saying tin unison, "Rey the Force will be with you always." Rey stands with the visible spirits of all the masters, The Bendu, and The Wills beside, behind, around, and above her. Rey grabs both Anakin and Leia's light sabers and ignites them. Then she does the unexpected and deactivates the sabers and removes the kyber crystal from them. Rey: "I don't need these to fight and defeat you, Sidious." She places the crystals in the wrist of her sleeves. Sidious: "Let your death be the final word in the story of the rebellion and the Jedi." He unleashes his full power and sends a lighting bridge at her which she deflects with her hands as the lighting streaks all over the chamber. He stops momentarily long enough for Rey to say, "Before anything else, I have something to say to you. Something I never thought I would be capable of saying to you. Especially given everything you have done to me, my family, my friends, and the countless lives you have ruined and destroyed by your choices. But it needs to be said." Sidious: "And what is that?!" Rey steadies herself and calmly says, "I forgive you." Sidious in shock and confusion stammers responding, "You...What?!" Rey: "Yes, I forgive you and in doing so I let go of all my negative feelings that prevent me from seeing the light. You made my father to be just another vessel for your soul. You cast him off and that led to me being born. Now I understand the real difference between you and me. You only rely on your own strength to obtain power and draw on only darkness for power. But I choose another path to power and it comes from a source more powerful than the dark side could ever be. Infinitely more powerful. The Force, for its power is born of unconditional love for all life. Now I know why I was brought here and why you are terrified of me and wanting so desperately to destroy me or use me. I am what you could've been, and I am the light in this dark place, brought here by the Force for such a time as this." Sidious, enraged, attacks with a deluge of force lightning so dense that Rey seems to vanish, enveloped in a sphere of purple and blue lighting. But then two golden spots on a human figures face appear to dissipate the storm showing Rey with a golden aura around her surrounded by the visible spirits of the past Jedi and the Wills. Sidious attacks and Rey force pushes him back to the base of the Sith throne. He tries to attack again, but he is stopped by Rey, who forces him to bow on his hands and feet before her. Rey: "You see, Sidious, you are the true weak one because you don't love. Nobody loves you and nobody cares about you because you never have given them a chance or reason to. You seek only power, domination, and destruction over those who you can't control. You want to make yourself the center of everything. And that is why you will always fail. But it's not me who will judge you, for it's not my place. The Force must judge you." He gets up and blasts in fury while she is holding his attack off, "You are nothing! A scavenger girl is no match for the power in me! I am all of the Sith!" Rey: "And I...! I'm a servant of the will of the Living Cosmic Force." She then emits yellow golden tinted lightning of the electric judgement that starts to push back Sidious's lightning. He desperately tries to resist; Rey's golden lightning continues pushing his back. Sidious: "No! This is impossible! How can you, a mere child of a failed clone, be able to do this?" Rey in a calm manner states, "Because it's not just me. It's all the good force users of the past plus the will of The Force manifested through me." He keeps trying to resist, but the yellow lightning of the electric judgement breaks through and turns his present body to ash revealing his soul which remains because it is still gripped by the lightning of the electric judgement. Sidious: "Hey! Why am I not going to my new body?" Rey: "Because this is not yet over." He writhes in agony under the weight of his guilt. Against his will yellow bolts shoot from his hands out towards the stands where the chanters are being struck with the lightning and a second stream of yellow lighting out his back through the veil into the World between the Worlds and then goes into and out all the other doors to the worlds which contain the things Sith and other dirtsiders through the ages have infused their spirits essence into. Sidious screams, "What is happening?!" Rey: "The will of the Force is being done, cleansing and purging your essence from everything you and other dirtsiders have bonded your souls to. Force users, who are attune to the force and willing let go of their existence on the mortal plane become one with the Force and are freely able to move between the realms when they choose or when the force needs them to help here. But for one as evil as you, the only way you and those like you can continue to have power and presence on this plane is to bind your souls to objects or bodies to give you the illusion of ultimate power and immortality. By purging your essence, your connection to the mortal plane is severed and there is no longer anything to keep you, the Sith, and the other dirtsiders whose spirits you have bound to yourself anchored here anymore." Sidious screams, "You can't!" Rey: "It has already been done." A yellow and gold vertical swirling disc appears above Sidious. It has a black spot at its center like a cosmic black hole. The yellow lightning bolts attacking the followers turns them to dust and then black tendrils made of mist grab and pull them inexorably to the mini black hole that will send their souls to where they will forever be separated from the Force. Cast into oblivion. They all scream in fear as they are swallowed up in along with the spirits of all the Sith and other darksiders whom Sidious had bonded to himself. The valley of The Sith Lords on Korriban collapse's in on itself. The storms over Dromund Kas disperse. Malecore three is cleansed of all Sith Presence as well along with all places strong with the dark side. Sidious desperately tries to pull away, but the tendril of mists continues to pull him in. He pride fully declares, "I cannot be defeated. I am the immortal lord of the Sith! I submit to nobody! I will not be denied my destiny!" He finally sees all the Jedi and other light side Force users standing with Rey, as they say in one voice, "This is your destiny." Then, with one united attack, they force push him all the way in, and he is sucked into the black hole screaming a long final, "Nooooooooo!" The citadel collapses around her and then Rey collapses as well with Finn instantly feeling her life presence vanishing. Then Ben enters and cradles her in his arms. He then touches her hand and focuses all his energy to restore her to life. She opens her eyes with joy. Then Ben suddenly collapses. Rey is ready to restore him, but he yells her, "No. I gave up my life to give you back yours." Rey: "I have to save you." Ben: "You don't have to because you already have. You were right about me. Just like Luke was right about my grandfather Anakin. Tell your friends, you were right that I could be saved from the darkness." Rey: "Ben I..." Ben: "I know so much to say and not enough time to say it. Thank you, for being the light that brought me back." Ben looks up to see Leia, Luke, and Anakin standing over him with smiles. Leia: "Welcome back my son." With tears of joy running down his cheeks Ben exclaims, "Mother! Uncle Luke, and grandfather!" Anakin: "We are here to bring you home to where there is no more grief or sorrow, where evil has no presence or power, and where you will find everlasting peace and unending joy where. That which has no beginning and no end to it for it is as eternal as our love for you is. Found and no longer lost, child of the Living Cosmic Force." Ben looks into Rey's eyes and with his last strength says, "Please continue to be for the rest of the galaxy as you were to me-my light in the darkness that brought me home." With tears of sadness and joy, they hug, and Ben fades away leaving only his clothes in Rey's arms. Rey wipes away her tears and stands up. She looks up to see the battle is still going on. Suddenly her eyes begin to glow yellow and swirling clouds of yellow and gold envelope her. She assumes a meditation pose as she levitates into the air saying, "I am one with the Force, and the Force will always be with me. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no fear; there is power. I am the heart of the Force. I am the revealing fire of the light. I am the mystery of the darkness. I am in balance with chaos and harmony. Immortal in the force."

Chapter 14: The Will of the Force

Poe messages from his fighter, "Finn how's it going on your end?" Finn replies from his position on the deck of the command destroyer. Finn: "BB-8 is just about ready to..." Poe calls over the comm, "Finn...Fine! What were you saying? BB is about too..." R2 then starts beeping as he informs Poe through the readout, "Look to your starboard now." Poe: "Look to my starboard? R2, Finn, Rose and the other trooper kids are all about to die and you want me to just look? What could be so important to look at...?" Lando in the Falcon looks perplexed. On the bridge of the command ship everyone is staring out the windows as the commander demands, "What are you waiting for? What is wrong with all of you? What are you all... looking... at...?" An ever-growing cloud of gold, yellow, and sunset red rises from where the Sith citadel had been and causes the storm clouds in the atmosphere to disperse to allow the sun to shine through. The cloud then assumes the form of Rey from the waist up almost ten miles tall with eyes shining like blazing yellow suns. On the hull of the lead star destroyer Finn, Rose, and the other former storm troopers and all the imperial troops that they were fighting are staring in wonder and bewilderment. Finn: "Oh my..." Rose: "Is that Rey?" Rey then speaks to everyone through telepathy, "I am Rey Skywalker. Humble and faithful servant of the Living Cosmic Force that unites all existence. Sidious has been destroyed as have all the Sith. Your dark leader and his followers are gone. His choices and the choices of those who served and followed him took away your choices. Those choices are what have brought you all here as have mine. Many of you are here because you were given no choice, but now I on behalf of the Force offer all of you of the First and Final order of the Sith Empire a new choice. Stop this war. Leave all of this behind. Let go of the darkness and live. If you choose not to, then you will have to face your final destiny." This is followed by a long pause that seems to last for an eternity. The admiral on the imperial command ship after looking at all the bridge crew, commands, "What are you waiting for, attack!" The female captain next to him responds, "No admiral." The admiral: "What?!" The captain looks out the window again. At her uniform. The rebels outside on the hull and then the personnel on the bridge. The captain: "She is right. She turns her back to Rey standing in-front of the admiral bravely, "Enough." He then pulls out a blaster and points it at her head right between her eyes. The Admiral: "Then you die as well, traitor." He then hears blaster clicks all around as other blasters from the other personnel point theirs at him. The admiral in confusion angrily screams, "Traitors! All of you are traitors to our glorious Emperor!" Back on the hull, most of the troopers remove their helmets revealing the individual men and woman behind the masks. Those who refuse, keep their on preparing to fire with their former squad mates pointing their blasters at them. Rey then says, "Those of you who have now chosen to turn away from this life, (or as the force shall determine), shall be given a second chance to live your lives by your own choices. To be the masters of your own fate. But I am sorry for what I must do to those of you who won't turn away or let the past go. I have to do what must be done. Just remember the force in its infinite love and mercy for all living things gave you the choice to choose a new life. For the choices you make and the actions that follow are all reflections of who you really are. I don't want to, but I must do what is necessary to restore the balance and deliver justice." Golden force lightning shoots out in all directions from the cloud around her waist and fingers. It spreads to strike every imperial star destroyer with the golden electric judgement lightning. On the ships the electric arcs shoot out of all the screens, terminals, and ports. Striking only those who chose to not let go of the lie Sidious and his followers instilled in them. Leaving the ones who did renounce alone and unharmed. Many just fall unconscious because the force decided that they still have the potential to be redeemed. However, many more die instantly and turn to ash. All the star destroyer planet killing cannons are destroyed and all the star destroyers land themselves. While those out in space are gently guided and land on the planets, they were near. Once all the ships have landed. When all the imperial ships on Exogal have landed the people, who chose to live a new life exit the ships along with the Rebels from their ships and all the ones from the people who came to aid them. Then again everyone looks up as cloud Rey disperses the storm clouds completely clearing the sky as the yellow sun shines overhead. Rey's cloud fingers touch the ground, and the world is restored to the fertile world it was before the Sith came. Water condenses to form lakes, rivers, and oceans. Trees grow out of the sand, dust, and salt that is being converted to soil. Animals that were destroyed are restored, created from the dust and given life.

Chapter 15: A Second Chance and a New Life Begins

After all that is finished, Rey's cloud-self becomes a single glowing orb of yellow and golden light that gently floats down to the ground. It disperses to reveal Rey as her eyes cease glowing, her aura disappears as her feet touch the ground. Her eyes close as she begins to fall to the ground only for Finn and Poe to catch her. Finn cradles Rey in his arms as she opens her eyes and says, "I don't think I can ever do that again. If I do, I don't think I will be able come back from it alive." Poe: "Rey that was..." Rey: "Was..." Poe: "Cosmic! Nothing short of cosmic." Rey: "Just doing what needed to be done as the Force willed." She stands up and marvels at what the force used her to do. A former trooper steps forward to say, "Thank you for sparing us." Rey: "It wasn't me. The force saw that you could be saved. What's your name?" The Trooper: "All I have ever identified myself by is TM 7657777. Though now that I am not an imperial anymore, I think I'll take the name Tim Sevens." A former female trooper, "You can call me Lena Tentoo." Soon every imperial creates a new name from their identification numbers. Another says, "I'm Kaz Ninetry, so what do we call this planet? Now it's no longer the Exogal we knew. I believe it deserves a new name being that it is a new world." Rey thinks and smiles as she says, "I've got the perfect one, Redemption!" Kaz: "I think that's perfect, too." The captain approaches Rey and shakes her hand saying, "Thank you. For giving us back our lives. Now we have a real future we can look forward to." Rey: "You should proud of yourselves for choosing life over serving a dark order of oppression and destruction. Now the Force has given you a second chance along with this world. It's the perfect place to make a fresh start." The captain tells Rey, "My name is Mari Teneights. If you are able, can you lift me into the air, please?" Rey: "I think I can do that." She levitates Captain Mari high enough so everyone can see her. Then through the comm that everyone still has. Mari: "We of First and Final Order have survived and have been spared. The path ahead is free for us to walk." They all begin whispering among themselves until she says, "No one is ever going to rule us with an iron unsympathetic hand again! From now on we will decide how we live, together as a free-thinking community." Tim steps forward and says to those standing around and through the comm, "I want a new life, free of the fear of Sidious until the First and Final Order along with the Sith become nothing but a distant memory that will be only a story to tell to our future children. But it won't happen on its own. It's going to take hard work, but it will be worth it to build a shiny new future. Who's with us?" They all cheer in approval. Everyone around them is hugging, kissing, and discovering new friends and the joys of laughter. As the sun sets Rey, Finn, Poe, R2, BB along with Mari and Tim look out over the valley where a new city is starting to take shape. Where they will build from the destroyers new floating cities so as not damage the planets restored ecosystems. They also see the other surviving imperials that are being placed in cells for reconditioning. Mari asks Rey, "Well, Rey, you're a Jedi and I hear Jedi can see the future. What's in ours?" Rey looking at her happily says, "Sorry Mari, it doesn't work that way." Poe then takes over by saying, "I can tell what I see on your horizon. Even without the Force, I see joy and sadness. Anger and Happiness. Pain and healing. Loss and Love. Despair and Hope. In other words, life! Lived as it is given to us with each new day." Tim: "Guess we can't ask for more than that." Mari: "Indeed, live well and free. All of you." They depart as Rey asks, "What do you think about their prospects, General Poe?" Poe: "Whoa ho, I'm no longer commanding general. I'm going to go back to being a transport pilot." Finn: "Ha! You'd go mad in less than a day." Poe: "Humph maybe, still to answer your question, Rey. If they are willing to put in the time and effort, then I think they have a real chance at making it work out for the best. I just hope they remember to remain vigilant." Rey: "Yes, as Leia taught me, the true price of freedom is eternal vigilance." Finn: "We can only hope." Rey then turns to Finn and asks him, "Finn there was something you needed to tell me. What was it? Finn works up the courage and says, "Can you teach me how to be a Jedi because I think I and the other former storm trooper we met on Endor are force sensitives, too." Rey smiles and cheekily says, "I'll think about it. I just want to enjoy this moment. Cause for what feels like the first time in forever, everything feels right again and has a real chance and hope for peace." The three friends sit together with the Millennium Falcon behind them and the sun setting to their left behind majestic mountains.

While sleeping Rey finds herself once more in the "World between the Worlds" with Joy of the Wills saying, "Congratulations! Thanks to your humility, courage, and love by severing those dirtsiders' connection to the mortal plane, this galaxy and the universe as a whole now have a real chance and hope for peace." Qui Gon: "But don't get complacent." Rey: "Right, for as long people can choose between light and dark and to not follow the will of the force. Evil will always find a way in." Anakin: "Vigilance is the great price of freedom. Never stop trying to teach the future generations that." Rey: "I will always do my best to do so." Serenity appears to say, "Then that's good enough for us."

Chapter 16: The Ending of One Saga and the Beginning of a New One

Rey arrives on Tython to find the central Tho Yor pyramid ship in ruins. She finds it lying on its side encrusted with millennia of plants and rocks. She enters into the central chamber finding that it is a large empty space. She assumes her meditative lotus position and begins to float in mid-air. The walls seem to come to life covered with light emitting patters and designs. Outside, the pyramid begins to float again with all the plants and other things encrusting it falling off. The other pyramids across Tython begin to do the same thing. They all come to the ninth and largest pyramid and circle around it. They then disassemble themselves and combine with the ninth one to become a pyramid almost as large as the original death star. The super pyramid then shoots up into the sky and enters hyperspace, re-emerging into what used to be the Alderron system that was destroyed by the first death star. Then fourteen beams of light shoot out from the pyramid and begin to attract the dust and debris of Alderron. Making them coaless and the planet begins to form again. Then the pyramid speeds up time in the system until Alderron is restored to the way it was before it was destroyed. On the surface, amongst the snow-covered peaks and forested valleys, Rey speaks with a representative of the new Alderron citizens. Rey asks, "Have you decided what to call your capital city?" Senator Carsen: "We have, it shall be called 'Leia.' I think Princess Leia would be so proud for bringing her home world back from oblivion." Rey: "I think she is. Well, I got to get going. There are a lot of other worlds that need to be rebuilt. No rest for the weary." They shake hands. Rey stands under the Tho Yor and is pulled up into the air towards the pyramid as it opens to let her in before shooting back out into space.

Rey lands the Millennium Falcon near the Tuskin village where Anakin, in his rage about his mother's death, had slaughtered all the villagers. Rey steps to where the dwelling was when it happened and, Anakin's force ghost appears next to her. Anakin: "This is where the path to darkness started for me." Rey then touches the ground and hears the screams of the Tuskins. When the screams cease, she closes her hands and says, "May you now rest in peace." Then she lands at the remains of the Lars' residence. Sliding down into the main living center, she looks around the place. After seeing all that happened in it from the residual memories of the past, Rey leaps out to join R2 and BB on the surface. They go over to Shami Skywalker's grave. Rey then wraps Anakin's and Leia's lightsabers together and uses the Force to bury them next to Shami's grave. Luke appears as he looked in his youth and kneels next to Rey on her left saying, "A fitting place for one story to end." Leia then appears as she did in her youth, "And a good place for a new one to begin." Rey then grabs her own lightsaber and ignites it to show it is a yellow one that can become a double saber and can also become two lightsabers. She deactivates them and rejoins them as one. Then her eyes turn to her right, and she sees a dessert nomad with her animal transport. The nomad: "There has been no one here in ages. Certainly not a Jedi. Who are you?" Rey: "My name is Rey." The Nomad: "Rey who?" Rey then looks in the direction of the twin setting suns and sees the Spirits of Leia, Luke, Anakin, and Ben in Jedi robes smiling at her in approval. Rey then turns back to the nomad and says, "Rey Skywalker, Jedi Master." The Nomad: "You look a little young to be a master." Rey: "Never be fooled by appearances, and even the wisest masters know that there is always more to learn through life than can ever be known." The Nomad: "Hmm. True enough I suppose. And what is being constructed out there?" She points to a structure being built in the mountains. Rey turns back to her to say, "A new Jedi temple." The Nomad: "Then I guess I'll be seeing more Jedi around here before long." Rey: "You and any friendly folk like you are always welcome." The Nomad: "Thank you, I'll remember that." The Nomad gets on her mount and starts to leave until Rey says, "And one more thing." The Nomad stops her creature and turns her head to face Rey who says, "May the Force be with you." The Nomad looks a little confused then happily responds, "Same to you." As she rides away, Rey softly says to herself, "I am one with the Force and the Force will always be with me." She then stands illuminated by the twin suns with BB-8 next to her right leg and R2-D2 next to her left leg. Along with visible blue illuminated spirits of Yoda, Obi Wan, Luke, and Leia on her right. Anakin, Ben, Ahsoka, Qui Gon, and Kannan on her left. Bendu with The Father floating next to the right side of his head and The Daughter on his left. The Whills float overhead knowing that a new day will dawn, and so too will begin new legends. There is a story for every star. Among those stories are legends, and surely as The Force lives, legends of hope, triumph over adversity, and redemption from darkness will never die or be forgotten.

Epilogue

150 Years after the battle of Exogal/Redemption, Rey is in her home on the planet where she trained with Leia is surrounded by her great-grandchildren. Rey: "Do I really look so old to your young eyes?" One of the granddaughters responds, "No of course not." A boy: "We never think that." Rey turns to face them with a contented smile responding, "You don't need to feel ashamed because of course I do. For I have indeed become weak in my old age, though I've been told I still look great." She gets into her bed as her entire family gathers around and she tells them, "My time in this life is complete. Now I must enter my eternal rest." Her first grandson says, "Mother Rey, you can't die yet." Rey: "I am strong with the Force and in spirit even though my body is failing. No one is meant to live forever in this material existence. The sun must now set on my time and rise with you and the coming generations. For that is way of the Force. Old life ends so that new life is created in its absence. For we are all part of the same everlasting circle of life. Besides, you all know I will not cease to exsist. I am just transitioning from this life to an eternal life. I will always be there for you when you most need me, but I am still nothing next to the Force itself. Always turn to the Force first for guidance. If the Force sends me, then I will be there to comfort and guide and lift you up." As the spirits of the Jedi of the past surround her bed, Rey explains; "My friends and predecessors have come to take me to my new eternal home. I take my place among the masters of the past. Promise me you will live for each moment and never stop believing in the dream of a brighter future. For it will be there if you have courage to pursue it and try in your own unique way to make the world around you a better place for all who live in it. For with every unselfish act of love, mercy, and forgiveness, the entire universe...changes...for...the...better..." She fades away leaving her clothes and lightsaber on the bed. The oldest woman there, who is her daughter Kira Skywalker, says, "Goodbye Mother." Turning to the younglings Kira explains, "She is now one with the Force and has taken her place among the masters of the past. May we never cease seeking their guidance along with the Force to aid us in whatever shall come our way in life." Everyone bows their heads in grief for a while and then they begin to depart.
Rey's youngest grandchildren walk outside to look at the stars. They then look down to see the spirit of their grandmother change to her youthful self and also see the other masters appear along with Bendu and the Whills. Rey gives a warm smile. The Kids, "See you later Grandma Skywalker." Rey: "See you later, and never forget, the Force will be with you, always." Rey, along with all the masters of the past including Finn stand with her, look on the children with joy and unwavering hope.

Every ending has a beginning. Every beginning has an ending, but every ending is also a new beginning. One story ends, and a new one begins. For life is the story that never ends. The Force will be with you, always. Now go and write your own story. Your story may become a legend that will live and continue to inspire others through the ages. Because legends never die.
