Hey, hey! I'm early today. I was a bit excited to edit this. Excited and very nervous. I'm always extremely nervous for my fight scenes. I want to give each person the respect they deserve in a fight. Even if it is Fanfic.
Last chapter we left off to Hinata and Sakura meeting on top of the Hokage Monument. This takes place with the fight taking place soon after. I wanted to share that I got the whole idea of this story from a TikTok I saw lol. The video was old, like from 2020, but the creater's name is _nieca_ on TikTok. The creator made this video as a thank you for 8k followers. Now they have over 400K followers and 13M likes!
Crazy how one 20 second video can make over 20 chapters in a story lol. I loved it though, I'm all for a girl power narrative.
Anyways, just had to share that with you guys. Now on to the chapter!
The people that were not bedridden with the mental illness plague consuming Konoha were looking out the window at the battle outside. It was a mutual understanding from several parties that this was a fight no one was to interfere.
Across the heavens a spark of blue went flying across the night sky, from the Hokage's monument into the forest. Landing into a solid wood tree that was almost as tall as said monuments. There was a loud crash indicating that it was an object or person that made contact with the giant tree.
Hinata's hand glowed green. She knew to beat Sakura in this battle she would have to take small breaks like this to heal what she could. Then engage again.
She attempted to peel herself off the dense tree. Her straw hat falling from her head and the impact from Sakura's chakra infused punch left her heavily bleeding. Blood coming down from her forehead. Sakura held nothing back, because that was a mighty hit from Sakura. To Hinata it felt like years of frustration. Maybe it was.
Sakura landed in front of Hinata and didn't give her friend much time to recover before she littered her with a blitz of fists. None as fierce as the first hit, but still chakra laced each blow. Each hit buried Hinata further into the tree that seemed to be impenetrable. Sakura wasn't known for speed, so she wasn't fast with her hits, but she was precise and heavy with them.
Hinata didn't know why, but her mind wasn't focused on the pain that Sakura was inflicting. She was more so thinking about how much Sakura has improved over time, how Sakura didn't hold back any more like she used to when they were out on missions. How Sakura never liked making a deadly blow. Now look at her. Ready to make a kill.
Sakura slowed her hits until she stopped because they were now deep into the tree, almost inside its core. She was sure if anything, the tree was officially dead. She looked down at Hinata and was relieved she wore her mask because Hinata would have saw Sakura's regretful face. Just looking at the condition she put Hinata in pained her.
Hinata had a small body, it would be easy for Hinata to squirm and her opponents would miss. So Sakura had to focus on body parts like Hinata's face, her chest, ribs, shoulders and other spots closest to her. She couldn't take Hinata lightly.
The young Hyuga's face was soaked in her own vitals. It was a dark bloody red and Hinata was wheezing from being hit in her chest. During the Chunin exams, with her cousin Neji. She received some serious respiratory injuries that still followed her. So, taking hits in the chest was something Hinata always tried to avoid.
Right now. There was pain. Hinata felt a lot of pain, but believe it or not. She was used to it.
Sakura forgets years of being beaten had hardened Hinata. While she was in pain, Hinata could find a way to keep pushing.
Hinata looked up at Sakura and her big eyes sparkled. Sakura had no clue how Hinata could still look up at her and smile, "Hinata, stop this." Said person shook her head briefly before bending her knee swiftly and kicking Sakura with all her might in the stomach.
Sakura winced over because Hinata had put a little chakra in the kick, but it served its purpose of knocking Sakura off balance on the now brittle, tumbling tree. Thanks to Sakura's assault, the tree was tumbling.
At this point Hinata pushed herself up and tackled Sakura off the tree. Now they both were free falling. It seemed like they were falling forever. Still, Hinata had a protective hold on Sakura. She pulled her friend close to her and Sakura could have sworn Hinata was hugging her.
That was until she flipped Sakura in mid-air so she was on the bottom to take the impact, "Rotation." The earths impact came faster with Hinata's rotation pushing Sakura down. When the two hit the ground, the surrounding trees and rubble obliterated around them. Sakura using her own chakra to push off from Hinata's. The two struggled for dominance, and when Sakura looked at Hinata's blood-stained face she could see the change in Hinata's eyes.
The rage. So many people over time had pointed out that Hinata had rage that she kept bottled inside of her. Their sensei Anko in the academy. Ino has pointed it out. Even Naruto could see that Hinata had a lot of rage bottled inside of her. Sakura had never seen it pointed at her. Now was the first time she's seen Hinata in all her Anbu deadly glory.
Both females were good at their chakra control. They knew they both were limited people in this category so they knew not to expand too much, too soon. Hinata knew better than to let this battle drag. If Sakura was given the chance, she would open the strength of a hundred seal and use art creation rebirth to outlast Hinata.
Even though she knew better. Hinata's rage seemed to consume her and get the best of her judgement. She was forgetting what Naruto asked of her. All she could see was red.
How could Sakura not understand her? What connection were they missing that they once had? Would Sakura really betray her? Like her family. Like her sister Hanabi.
The female Hyuga let out a battle cry as she upped her chakra and pushed through Sakura's and her rotation pummeled Sakura into the ground. Hinata kept the assault. She believed she counted the amount of times Sakura had punched and broken her ribs along with other bones in her body to match her rotation. Just to make it even.
Letting up on her assault, Hinata backed away when Sakura started showing signs she was going to retaliate. With the distance Sakura was able to crawl out the crater from the ground that Hinata created for her. Both women now sporting the ruby red stained face. "Is our goal to kill one another Hinata? Is that what you waited this long time to do?"
Hinata slid her body into her families traditional fighting stance, "I will not be talking to you in this environment anymore Sakura. You cannot see the truth in things while you are still being held to Konoha's objectives."
Sakura actually chuckled at this. She shook her head as she looked at Hinata, "So. Now I'm the brainwashed one. We made promises to each other Hinata. We promised to be there for one another. I PROMISED to be there for you and you made me believe you were DEAD! You LEFT ME! YOU LEFT OUR DREAMS! WHY?!"
Rage filled Sakura as she pounded the ground and it created a giant split in the earth. Trees and nature around them were crumbling and sooner or later this forest would be no more. All due to Sakura and Hinata.
Hinata faltered a bit and almost slipped in the crack, Sakura took that opportunity to charge at her and the two combated with one another hand to hand. Sakura was faster than Hinata once remembered, but taijutsu was Hinata's field. Hinata could read Sakura's next movements easily, Sakura was upset and it proved to make her sloppy.
However, Hinata also knew that Sakura was a very smart person. Intelligence was her thing just as much as it was for members of team ten. This could be Sakura's ploy, to make Hinata think she has the upper hand before delivering a debilitating blow.
Hinata created a miniature distance between the two for a split second, then in a blink of an eye she attacked with Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Sakura wasn't expecting this. Hinata knew that. It was a random time to attack when they were being so physical right now. Hinata gave no sign. She just attacked. Plus, in all honesty. Sakura never thought Hinata would attack her like this. Actually aiming to hurt her, like they were enemies.
She had to take Sakura by surprise and she had to close her tenketsu's. Even if it was just temporary. Hinata could read her friends blueprints. Sakura was planning on wearing Hinata out. Delivering blow after blow between one another until Sakura decides to use the strength of a hundred seal and demolish Hinata when she'd get tired.
Hinata couldn't let that happen. She had to stop all of Sakura's trump attacks. Summons and all. Hinata knew just as much as she has progressed, so has Sakura. Both females knew this about one another, and they both needed to pull out all their tricks.
Hinata capitalized on the fact that Sakura didn't know she mastered certain family jutsu's while she was away. That's why she was attempting to move as fast as possible and immobilize Sakura. Hinata wasn't going to lie, she messed up earlier. She let Sakura hammer her into that tree and damage her way too early on. She guessed she was surprised by the initial hit, when she shouldn't have been.
In reality both females were hesitant and didn't really understand the damage that they could cause one another. It's one thing to witness it, it's another thing to feel the pain from it and Sakura's hits were PAINFUL. It knocked the air out of Hinata from the first impact from Sakura.
Sakura had hit her so hard that she projected off the Hokage's monument and into the forest, that wasn't close to the monuments at all. Hinata didn't know which one of them was going to be the first to attack and when Sakura was the first Hinata THOUGHT she was relieved until she felt the impact of Sakura's hit for the first time.
That was a mistake Hinata would not be making again. She couldn't afford it.
Hinata was successful in locking Sakura in and striking her with Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. She watched her close friend slump and a frustrated scowl came across Sakura's face. Hinata knew better though, if Sakura was anything like her mentor, then this would be a temporary attack because something like this wouldn't be able to keep Sakura down for too long.
Another reason was because Hinata wasn't trying to fry and permanently damage Sakura's charka network. She was just trying to get her to STOP.
That was strike two of Hinata not keeping her promise to Naruto.
Hinata figured someone of Sakura's caliber right now, before she could use strength of a hundred seal, Sakura wouldn't recover for at LEAST ten minutes. She would give her the benefit of the doubt and say five minutes. Hinata approached Sakura and stared her down. With all the craters and split erosion around them Hinata had to watch her step to not fall. The two locked eyes for a moment, but Hinata felt as if something was wrong.
Hinata was hesitant to step too close to Sakura and she soon noticed why. Her eyes quickly scanned the area and noticed explosive tags in the cracks on the erosion Sakura had created earlier in her fit of rage.
Her fake fit of rage. She tricked Hinata.
The young Hyuga should have known, she should have caught this. A limped Sakura stared at Hinata as a small smirk graced her face. There were a lot of explosive tags, surely Hinata wouldn't be able to escape them fast enough nor would she be able to hold her rotation long enough to avoid the massive explosion for long. Still…neither could Sakura.
Hinata gritted her teeth as she looked at Sakura. "This will probably kill us both."
Sakura's eyes widened as she stared at Hinata excitedly, "At least we'll be together. Best friends forever. Remember?!"
The forest sounded like a detonation of an atomic weapon.
Sasuke grabbed hold of his coffee table. He heard the blast and the whole apartment complex rumbled. His eyes widened with nothing by concern. All he's been hearing for the last 15 minutes were battle cries and war going on outside. They've been going at it for what felt like forever. Sasuke knew of all of Sakura's capabilities, there was no way this Hyuga woman could last beyond Sakura's abilities.
"How much have you studied the Hyuga clan little brother."
Sasuke looked up at Itachi, who was calmly lying across his couch, and frowned at him. Itachi was so lazy in reality. He was always slouching around. No care in the world. "What?"
"You seem to believe, like you should, that your woman is the dominant one in this fight."
Sasuke's frown deepened as he looked at Itachi. He hated when his brother started to talk in riddles, "That's because she is. I understand Hinata is strong in her own way, but Sakura tops her in every aspect. Sakura is almost like me. She's competitive in everything she does and always excels. I don't remember a time Sakura was behind any female in our age range."
Itachi nodded his head as he closed his eyes to rest them, "She is a very strong and smart woman. You should be proud she picked you. Her intelligence does go beyond medicine. I'm asking you though, what do you know about the Hyuga clan."
Sasuke was losing his patience, "Not much Itachi. There is no reason for me to know anything about them. I know even if Sakura did get hit by a damaging attack from Hinata, she could heal herself. Especially if she opened her seal. If this fight meant Sakura was going to resort to that, than I misjudged the Hyuga woman greatly. Which I doubt. I'm trying to figure out why Sakura hasn't done anything of the sort yet. She should be finished by now."
Itachi cracked an eye open and stared at Sasuke, "Unless she's gotten her charka points closed and can't use chakra to activate such seal. Most of the Hyuga clan techniques revolves around immobilizing you and making sure you can't access your chakra. Sometimes without you even noticing. Then they'll break you down piece by piece. If that's the case, Sakura is out there trying to find an alternate way to win. I'm sure Sakura isn't caught off guard by Hinata's attacks. They've been comrades and friends for a very long time. They both know each other's abilities very well. That is probably the main reason everything is taking so long. They are trying to outsmart one another."
Sasuke had gotten quiet as he thought over Itachi's words, "I knew that already."
Itachi scuffed at him and closed his eyes again, "No you didn't. You thought the Hyuga girl was toast. You thought this was an open and closed case. Did Naruto and Hinata taking down cloud village right in front of you not show you the Hyuga girl was not to be taken lightly. Even after that mission you still didn't do your research on her abilities."
Sasuke gave a frustrated sigh and stood up to look out the window. As he walked towards the window, he looked at the clock on the wall. It was 11 at night. How much longer where these two going to bang into one another. He was growing tired of his brother making good points.
Sasuke opened his window and all he could see and smell was fire and smoke. He looked into the tree lines and saw a giant smoke cloud coming from there, consuming the forest. Sparks of electricity could be seen along with blue flames. Like it was keeping the fire and smoke from spreading too far out. "Hinata. She's a fire and lighting type."
Itachi didn't open his eyes this time when he answered, "Yes Sasuke. She is."
While the two Uchiha brothers waited for the outcome. Way off in rain village were Shikamaru and Naruto equally waiting for the same thing.
Shikamaru watched Naruto pace back and forward as he looked at the clock on the wall. His blonde comrade was disheveled. As Shikamaru had expected. Sadly, it was easier to calm Hinata down when Naruto was out battling Obito than it was calming Naruto down while Hinata was mirroring the same thing.
Difference being Naruto was a hot head. Shikamaru would go far to say he was a loose cannon.
"If you want to start the trip to Konoha now then let's do it. Ino could use the break from her mind techniques if we wrap everything up now."
Naruto looked at Shikamaru for a moment and thought his words over. His arms were behind his back and he looked to be in a calm state, but Shikamaru knew otherwise. "No. We can't do that. It's not time to leave yet. Hinata is still out there with Sakura and I don't want to see them in the middle of their fight. Or too close to them finishing. It might trigger Kurama."
Shikamaru rolled his eyes at Naruto, "Well then chill the hell out Naruto. You're stressing yourself on something you're not going to do anything about. You trusted Hinata. You agreed to this, against your better judgement. So, the least you can do is not pace around and get yourself riled up. Just relax."
Several emotions ran across Naruto's face as he looked at Shikamaru before settling for straight annoyance. He hated when Shikamaru was right and an asshole at the same time, "Oh fuck you Shikamaru. What if this was Ino that was out there? You'd be just like me."
"I wouldn't let Ino talk me into agreeing to this. Against Sakura of all people. Even if Ino did manage to convince me, there would be a lot more constrictions. Alone in Konoha? No, not with both the Uchiha brothers and Kakashi there. Sasuke is your 'brother' and all, but Sakura is now his wife. Remember? How Sasuke and Sakura could have a happy life and get engaged. How Sakura could call Sasuke her fiancé while you couldn't even tell people you were DATING Hinata. Yeah, now they're married and you're fighting for the right to STILL have your relationship acknowledged. Big difference in relationships. Also, Itachi is Sasuke's brother and would stick by Sasuke's side whether he's right or wrong in anything. You trust Sasuke that much that he won't interfere if he sees Sakura losing?"
Naruto grinded his teeth in frustration. He REALLY hated when Shikamaru made sense at his expense. Plus, Shikamaru has never liked Sasuke. He was just good at hiding it like Hinata. Shikamaru tolerated Sasuke more than anything. Shikamaru and Hinata both did, for Naruto.
Still. Naruto wouldn't think that negatively though, he did in fact trust Sasuke. "No. I trust him. If anything, Itachi is there to make sure Sasuke's temper won't get the best of him. Itachi can't be guilt tripped by Sasuke easily anymore like he used to be. Plus, I've been communicating offline with Pervy Sage and Kakashi-sensei. The fight will stay away from the villagers and Hinata is off limits."
Shikamaru grinned at Naruto. Seems like Naruto made every precaution he could while giving Hinata her space. He had to give it to him, Shikamaru was impressed. "Alright. So, again the plan is to head out there around midnight on your summons right. We'll get there at the time that you told Hinata you'll arrive. So, everything between Sakura and Hinata should be settled by then."
There was a silent moment between Naruto and Shikamaru. The quick-witted Nara could tell exactly what Naruto was thinking, "Well. For Konoha's sake. Everything better be settled." Shikamaru grumbled that part and Naruto only grunted in agreement.
Hinata actually scowled. She fell for Sakura's trap. Now Sakura has escaped her. Surely Sakura was recovering from Hinata's 64 palms and was hiding waiting for her time.
It was smoke everywhere and it was hard for Hinata to take the smallest breath. Hinata immediately escaped for cover, of course she was nowhere near fast enough to avoid explosions so she received even more damage. She held off most of the blast as long as she could, but could not stop shrapnel from slicing her up. So now, she has the damage from Sakura punching her through a tree and she has the damage of explosive tags.
This was not looking good.
True. Hinata had some knowledge for healing. So, she healed herself as much as she could without expelling all her chakra doing so. She wasn't someone with giant chakra reserves so she didn't heal too much. Just what caused her the most pain.
Hinata scanned the area, with her Byakugan she was going to find Sakura faster. However, her quick shot of ending this wasn't happening. Sakura was going to bind as much time as possible until she got her chakra unblocked and could heal herself and engage again.
Hinata turned to her left and could easily see Sakura behind a tree in the thick smoke, "Sakura. I have you in my sights."
She watched as Sakura braced herself as she walked from behind the tree and faced Hinata. She was relieved to know the blast didn't kill Sakura, but it did do significant damage just like it did to Hinata.
However, the mere fact that Sakura could walk again meant she was slowly opening her points back up. The only real upside Hinata had right now in this situation was that she could see better than Sakura. So, while Sakura gained leverage from setting off the explosive tags, Hinata gained leverage too.
Sakura was able to now make out Hinata's silhouette. Her body was opening back up and she just needed a little more time. She was sore all over. Sore and hurt. The very fact that someone she loved was hurting her like this was something Sakura just couldn't let go. She never could let go of a loved one.
"Hinata. I don't understand. I feel like everything that we have done together. Everything that we've been through, you're just throwing it away. What did I do wrong? Was I the one to push you away or were you the one to push ME away?"
Hinata squared her jaw as she watched Sakura slowly approach her through the dense smoke. "You pushed me away Hinata. You and Ino both treated me like I was the spoiled civilian and pushed me away. All I wanted to do was help you and be by your side. You forget, I was there before Naruto acknowledged you!"
That slight moment of hesitation from Hinata was all Sakura needed as she sprinted through the fog and tackled Hinata to the ground. She was on top of Hinata and she looked down at her friend as Sakura's eyes glowed green. Hinata was a little thrown off, Sakura's words did make an impact on her and she was digesting her words the whole time.
Hinata strained her Byakugan as she looked at Sakura. She sat up for a moment and reached behind Sakura. She attempted to insert two pointing fingers in Sakura's back, but Sakura slapped Hinata's hand away before Hinata dug too deep and immobilized her.
Hinata could see the chakra infused fist coming straight for her face as Sakura pushed her back on the ground. Hinata would move to the left as Sakura's fist ended up connecting to the ground and leaving a violent hole in the ground. Hinata imagined the earth was crying from the assault Sakura and herself had been putting it through. She would later apologize to it and treat it with care.
Hinata dodged Sakura's fists two more times before her own fists started to glow blue and her twin lion fists was able to push Sakura off of her so she could get space to get up. The two women created space between one another, both looking their worse.
Hinata's Akatsuki robes were open now and hung off her shoulders. No longer hiding her body. Gone was Sakura's mask and her Anbu armor was barely hanging on to her frame. Both women were a mixture of being covered in dirt or their own red stains.
Hinata's eyes widened with fury as all of Sakura's words kept replaying in her head. "You…you were my first real friend Sakura. Not because you had to be. Not because we were on the same team together or because we were family. You were my first real friend that cared about me for no reason. I would and have never put anyone before you."
Tears finally welled up in Hinata's eyes and Sakura held in her own as she attempted to hold herself together. "You. Ino. Hanabi…I would have NEVER put anyone before all of you. Yet. My own sister betrayed me. My own sister tried to kill me. My father…" Sakura watched as Hinata openly cried. Tears flowing freely down her bruised face.
How could Sakura say those words to her? Why did Sakura believe that Hinata was the one to betray her? She did everything she could for ALL of her precious people!
Hinata wasn't a crier. She wasn't someone that openly wept. Sakura knew this, that's why it was so painful to watch.
"My father hated me and I have no clue why. They all hated me and the utter thought of peace within our family. I don't know why everything was my fault Sakura. I don't know why you think of me as this horrible person that let Naruto come in between us. When that was never the case. You're like a sister to me. You helped me be happy and find the real me. I love you Sakura."
Sakura's chest hurt. Keeping the tears and pain in her hurt her tremendously. She bared her teeth in misery as she squeezed her eyes shut for a moment before looking at Hinata with determination. She couldn't forget, Hinata chose her path. Her path of sin. "You know I love you too Hinata. You and Ino. It's always just going to be the three of us because we are a family…but I can't let you keep destroying yourself Hinata. I can't let you go around and hurt people."
Hinata's eyes widened. Tears still flowed freely down her face but now a smile had emerged. Sakura still cared for her. They were still a family.
This time Hinata was prepared when Sakura attacked her. The two continued to go blow after blow, exhausting one another. Sakura had to admit fighting Hinata with her twin lion fists and getting hit by it probably was an equal amount of pain liken to her punches. Sooner or later Sakura was going to have to stop this. Hinata made it difficult, she didn't give her any time to generate.
They were getting nowhere, both too hesitant to make the final blow. Sakura didn't understand too much why she didn't make a big move yet. Hinata clearly stated that she had no remorse. That she wasn't sorry for what she did and would even continue attacking villages. Sakura knew Konoha was one of the villages.
What about the children? What about the people that were innocent in all of this. Preserving the life of good people was a reason why she became a ninja. Why THEY became ninja's. Hinata forgot this. Hinata has fallen and the people surrounding her were not picking her back up. So, she would.
Sakura frowned as she launched forward and hugged Hinata. The smaller woman was in a state of shock to get such affection from Sakura. "Hinata. You know I love you. I want you to know that and I want you to know that I'm sorry."
Hinata looked on confused. She turned her head to look at Sakura as Sakura cupped her face. Their foreheads were touching and the connection they once had Hinata could feel it again. All the while, Sakura's other hand was inching towards her thigh pouch. "I'm sorry for picking Sasuke over you and Ino. I'm sorry because I was the one that distanced myself when you needed me the most. I'm SORRY Hinata. Please. If anything, tell me you forgive me."
Hinata pulled away a little to look at Sakura's face after Sakura kissed Hinata's cheek with nothing but love and affection. Hinata smiled at her friend as she could never stay upset with Sakura for too long, "Sakura. I was never upset with you. I always understood. You're my family. I'll always forgive and love you-". Hinata eyes widened in shock and pain as she felt a sharpened kunai pierce her side.
Did Sakura mean what she said or did she do this to trick Hinata to become distracted and to lower her guard? Hinata took deep breaths as she grabbed Sakura's wrists that held the kunai and with all her might twisted it until Sakura yelled out in pain and let go of her embrace with Hinata.
All Hinata could hear in her head right now was Naruto. Kurama and Ino. All the warnings they gave her about Sakura. How they continuously told her to not let Sakura's words get into her head. To not be apologetic. To not double down to Sakura and she didn't listen. She failed them, especially Naruto.
Hinata stumbled back a little as she pulled the sharp blade out and immediately applied pressure to the open, gushing wound. "Y-y-you. W-why did you l-lie to me Sakura?"
Tears rolled down Sakura's face as she stared at Hinata. Sakura held her chest as she watched Hinata start to double over from the pain. The blood seeping through Hinata's fingers. "I didn't lie Hinata! Don't ever think that! I have to save you from yourself Hinata. You're crashing and you can't even see it!"
Hinata looked at Sakura confused, "A-All b-b-because I told you…I was happy?" Hinata looked at the kunai in her hand before she looked back at Sakura. Her hand over the wound glowed green and she winced at the pain of the damage being repaired. She didn't have enough chakra for a full recovery from the wound, but enough to get the internal bleeding to stop and for the blood to stop gushing. She would have to stitch herself back up later.
Hinata looked up at Sakura and the rage in her eyes from earlier returned seven folds. "I…I understand now Sakura. You are confused that is all."
Sakura's eyes widened. All this time Hinata had been partially healing herself. This was enough. Sakura has had enough of this all, "If you're not going to listen to reason Hinata. Then you leave me no choice."
Hinata watched as Sakura prepared to activate and release the strength of a hundred seal. She would then surely use this to heal herself and be able to make any attack against Hinata ten times more damaging.
Hinata also watched as Sakura's eyes widened and she doubled over in pain and held on to her back. Sakura fell to her knees and Hinata just looked at her with new found adrenaline in her.
Sakura still loved her. They were still a family. She was just confused and needed her help.
Hinata walked towards Sakura with a gentle smile. Seemingly proud of herself in a humble manner.
"The art of a Hyuga is the fact, if we wanted to, we could kill a human being without them feeling our attacks. We are gentle and deadly. Far different than what you are used to when it comes to Naruto and Sasuke. I do not need to dig in your body to hit your chakra points. The gentlest touch, with barely noticeable chakra surging through your body, will close off your chakra points. In this case I just wanted to cut off your major point that could unlock your strength of a hundred seal or anything else that requires a mass amount of chakra. If I closed all your points, you would just avoid me more until it opened again. I think it is only fair that I tricked you Sakura, since you tricked me earlier. You might be stunned a little because the strength of a hundred seal takes a lot of chakra, and requires a lot from you. When I sealed off that chakra point, I made it so if you attempted to use it. It would send a painful sting through your body to the point in your back. It has immobilized you, but not permanently."
Sakura watched Hinata dig into her Akatsuki cloak and pull out a small pouch. Hinata pulled a pill out the pouch and looked at Sakura. "This pill dissolves and will put you into a slumber. When you wake up, you'll feel a little woozy and weak. Please don't worry. Everyone you care about will be there with you. We love you Sakura, we just want you to understand things a bit better and we understand that will take time."
Hinata sat on her bum beside an immobile Sakura that was on the ground. Sakura tried to thrash around a little and move her head repeatedly to avoid Hinata, but her close friend got a grip of her head and held her still. "Ouch!"
Hinata pulled her hand away and shook it because Sakura had bit her as she tried to open her mouth. Hinata just smiled at Sakura and grabbed her hair to hold her in place as she stuffed the pill in between her lips. The pill immediately started to dissolve and Sakura could taste everything. Hinata pinched Sakura's lips closed and even with Sakura attempting to spit the dissolving pill out with her saliva, an amble amount had already coated her tongue and was entering her system.
Hinata held Sakura and cradled her head as Sakura continued to thrash around. Hinata just hummed to herself as Sakura's violent movements started to slow down. Hinata used her Byakugan to monitor Sakura's body to ensure the sleeping remedy made its way through her system and that Sakura wasn't faking sleep.
Once she was sure Sakura was asleep Hinata laid down herself, near her friend. "You're my sister Sakura. My best friend. Our family that we have now. We'll be together forever. Just you wait and see."
Hinata watched a raven fly around them in the sky before landing on Sakura's hip. She smiled at the bird, "Could you please get the Uchiha brothers. I am too weak to carry Sakura back to her home by myself. Thank you." She watched the bird fly back away, into the direction of the Sakura and Sasuke's apartment.
Hinata could now hear the sound of nature. The birds chirping, squirrels moving around, water from the nearby stream. It was a new day she could tell. Naruto would be coming soon.
Now it was time to start their new life.
End of chapter! This would almost be a nice way to end the story. Kind of a 'open-ending' type of way. I couldn't do that though, I hate open-endings. Plus I have to add one more spicy lemon before closing this story!
Please share your critiques. Gentle please lol. I hope that I was able to put both of their skills in use here. I wanted to be equal between them. It's a little hard when you have a main character like Sakura fighting a side character, which is Hinata.
Anyways, next chapter will be Naruto coming to survey the aftermath. Let's just say when he sees Hinata he is not happy in the slightest and you all will see a side of Naruto that is utterly cruel.
See you next week!
