Standing before Class A were UA's Big three of Nejire Hado, Tamaki Amajiki and Mirio Togata.
"Of all the talented students here, they're the ones at the top," Tenya said.
"They're on such a different level than any of us," Momo said.
"Those must be the students we need to be chasing after," Jiro said.
"They don't seem all that special," Kaminari said. "But the girls' pretty cute."
"So, are they supposed to be Honor Students?" Flurry asked. "The blonde guy definitely looks strong, so I buy that, but what about the other two?"
"I recognize that guy..." Izuku said, recalling his prior encounter with Mirio. "Yeah, he was at the Sports Festival last year. He didn't do well, though he left quite the impression, for lack of a better term." If Izuku could really recall, Togata's clothes kept falling off, leaving him quite exposed. "Actually the other two didn't take home any medals either, yet they're UA's Big Three. Wonder how they got that title?"
"Alright, take a moment to introduce yourselves, starting with you Amajiki," Aizawa said.
The boy in question sent out a seemingly viscous glare, startling the class. Everyone was weirded out by how much intensity he showed in his glance, the boy's eyes deepening until he saw nothing but potatoes.
"It's no good, I just can't," Tamaki said, the boy shivering from his sudden stage fright. "Even if I imagine them as potatoes, I can still see their human bodies! My mind's blank and my mouth is dry! One of you two talk first, I just want to go home already!"
"Did he say...Potatoes?" Flurry wondered.
Tamaki turned to face the wall, everyone else unsure how to react to his new development. Oujiro was the first to question things, "Wait, are you really one of UA's top heroes?"
"Oh come on Amajiki," Nejire said. "You need the heart of a lion, not a kitten. I know you're human but you get what I mean."
"Poor boy, guess he's not much of a public speaker," Flurry commented.
Nejire turned to face the class, "Well this is Tamaki Amajiki, and my name is Nejire Hado. I'm supposed to talk about work studies, you first years have a really exciting time ahead of you."
"She's cute, and I bet she's really perky," Flurry felt. "I hope we can become friends."
Nejire focused her attention to Shouji, getting uncomfortably close to the boy, "Hey why are you wearing a mask? Are you feeling sick or are you trying to look cool?"
"Uh..." Shouji wasn't sure how to reply.
Nejire turned her attention to Shoto, "You must be Todoroki! So cool! Say how did you get that big burn on your face?"
Shoto curiously glanced at the girl, "That's none of your-"
"And Ashido!" Neijire interrupted, Aizawa looking on in confusion. "If your horns break, can you grow new ones? Also can they wriggle?"
"Wriggle?" Mina checked the horns on her head.
"And you're Flurry Heart! Wow, are you really a Princess?" Nejire asked. "Will you become a Queen one day?"
Flurry was amazed by this girl's energy, "Uh, well our Empire doesn't do Kings and Queens since-"
"Mineta!" Nejire said, getting the boy's attention. "Are your balls actually your hair? How do you get haircuts?
"My...balls?" Suddenly Mineta had some very dirty thoughts as Aizawa continued to grow impatient.
"Also Asui, you're a tree frog, not a gross toad, right?" Neiire asked.
"Toad?" Tsuyu had a brief flashback to the Brotherhood villain. "Well..."
"I want to know about all of you! Lets do a Q&A!" Nejire said.
"Wow...a total airhead, even cuter!" Kaminari said.
"She's as curious as a little kid," Mina said.
"She wants to know more about my balls..." Mineta perversely said, freaking out some nearby students. "Come closer and I'll spill all my secrets."
"Dude, really?" Sero said.
"I really like this girl, she reminds me of Pinkie Pie," Flurry said. "But she does need to slow down a bit, she might scare some of the students away."
"Hey Oujiro, can you support your entire body with your tail?" Nejire asked.
"Uh...well..." Oujiro wasn't sure how to reply.
"Come on, show me..." Neijire said.
Aizawa was out of patience, "This is completely irrational."
"Don't worry Eraser Head, I'll get them refocused!" Mirio said, taking his turn in front of the class. "The future's gonna be...!" He held his ear out, awaiting a response, but got dead silence.
"Great?" Flurry asked, feeling unsure of her response.
"Wow, only one! The entire class was supposed to answer! Well crap, my clever tactic was a total fail!" Mirio said, laughing to himself.
"I swear all three of them are such weirdos," Sato said. "What's the deal?"
"It is strange indeed," Tokoyami said.
"I like his enthusiasm, he's almost like that wind guy from the licensing exam," Flurry said.
"Seems like no one knows what's going on, which makes sense, we're third years trying to explain a program that's completely voluntary," Mirio said. "Now, you all already have your licenses despite being first years right? Wow, so energetic, I'm impressed. Perhaps, you just lack a sense of humor."
"Oh no..." Nejire said.
"Don't do it," Tamaki said.
"Alright, here's the plan, all your first years will fight me at once!" Togata said.
"Wait, you want to fight us?" Sero asked.
"Didn't we do this already with Spider-Man?" Kaminari asked.
"Oh, you fought with Spider-Man! That must have been fun! I hear he has a great sense of humor," Mirio said.
"He spent half the fight roasting us, kind of hurt our feelings," Kaminari said.
"If Katsuki were in class, he'd say 'Stop Whining Loser!'," Flurry said, trying to impersonate the boy, but much less intimidating. "If Mayday were here, well she'd just laugh at you for getting insulted by Uncle Peter."
"Spider-Man's your uncle?" Nejire asked. "Oh right, he married a Princess too. Wait, does that make him a Prince?"
"Technically, but he hates being called one, he says it sounds weird," Flurry said. "That and there's some royalty that treat him like a punk kid because he jokes around, they say it's not befitting of a prince."
"Nothing wrong with a few jokes, I say Spider-Man has the right idea, he's a swell guy and I'd like to meet him in person soon myself," Mirio said. "Shame, he's come to UA so much I hear yet I never actually get to see him."
"Isn't his daughter in this class?" Nejire said.
"She's not in today, for...reasons," Flurry said.
"Oh right, I saw her the other day taking out garbage, she seems nice, but a bit grouchy," Mirio said.
"Get to know her a bit more," Jiro said, getting a look of annoyance from Flurry. "You won't be saying that twice."
"No one asked you..." Flurry mentally scolded.
"It's really a shame, I'd like to fight her too since she won the Sports Festival," Mirio said, then turned to Aizawa. "So, is it alright to spar with them? It does give them a good learning opportunity experience wise."
"Do whatever you want," Aizawa said.
Later at the training hall, everyone had changed into their gym clothes, Togata stretching a bit before the fight.
While everyone was getting ready, the gym doors opened, Aizawa stepping inside after having gone to fetch someone, "Be happy I'm doing this, you're still technically on House Arrest, but you were only meant to get three days before you got on my nerves."
"I appreciate you bending the rules for me a bit," Mayday said, having been temporarily pulled from her suspension. "So, is there an activity I get to do?"
"No, you're staying on the sidelines," Aizawa said. "I'm giving you leniency but not that much. Thank Midoriya for this, he said you've been working hard and seem to realize your mistakes."
"I can't say what I did was a mistake," Mayday said. "I really just wanted to protect my friend. Isn't that a good thing?"
"I suppose I can't fault you for that, but your actions were still misguided," Aizawa said. "Come with me."
Mayday's sudden arrival did not go unnoticed by the class, Jiro being the first to speak up. "Parker's here? And she's with Aizawa?"
"Mayday?" Flurry turned to see her cousin walking with her teacher. "Oh! Is she joining us!?"
"Did Mr. Aizawa lift her suspension?" Izuku wondered.
"That girl from the other day, Spider-Man's daughter," Mirio noted, then gestured to Mayday. "This is great! We got ourselves a new guest."
"Another one?" Tamaki lamented before seeing who it was. "Wait, that's Spider-Man's daughter."
Mayday curiously glanced around, "So...what's everyone doing? Also who are those other kids?"
"That's Neijire Hado, Tamaka Amajiki and Mirio Togata," Aizawa explained. "They're UA's Big Three, they have the most hero work experience out of everyone in this school."
"Oh, so they're part of the Hero Course too?" Mayday asked.
"Yes, they're third years," Aizawa said.
"Third years? Oh so they're basically High School Seniors," Mayday said.
"It's so nice seeing a new friend," Neijire said. "And Spider-Man's daughter to boot! There's so much I could ask you."
"Save it for later," Aizawa said. "Mayday Parker will be observing today's lesson, she will not be participating however."
"Oh, bummer, I would have loved to test my abilities against her," Mirio said. "Maybe next time."
"Test his abilities?" Mayday asked. "What's going on?"
"We're all gonna fight him, like when we fought Uncle Peter," Flurry said.
"That's right, I'm going to see just how strong these students are," Mirio said.
"So, is he actually for real?" Kirishima asked. "Honestly this is way too ambitious."
"Mirio, you're impossible," Tamaki said. "It would have been so much easier to just tell them what we did. Not everyone has your drive, plus some of them might get hurt and it could look bad for us."
"Is he just trying to psyche us out?" Kirishima asked.
"I hope so," Mineta said, getting worried.
"Hey, story time everyone!" Nejire said as she flickered Mina's horns, much to the girl's discomfort. "Long ago, a student got frustrated and quit being a hero, which was bad for everyone. So Togata, I know our job is tough, I just hope you know what you're doing."
"Please stop touching my horns," Mina pleaded.
"That girl does need to learn about personal space, but I still think she'd make a great friend," Flurry felt.
"Let's think about this," Tokoyami said. "I know you're ahead of us, but we've fought pros before. Not just Spider-Man either, but also legends like Wolverine, The Human Torch and All Might."
"Plus we took down legitimate villains," Kirishima said. "So don't worry too much about hurting us."
"Well you're gonna have to show me that's the truth," Togata said. "So who's going first?"
"I'll start it," Kirishima said.
"No..." Izuku said, stepping forward. "Let me go first!"
"Dude, you stole my thunder!" Kirishima said.
"You got this, Deku," Ochako mentally cheered.
"Go get'em Izuku!" Mayday cheered.
"View this as a learning experience!" Aizawa instructed.
"I know you, you're the Problem Child," Togata said. "This should be fun."
"If I'm gonna spar with anyone, UA's top student is the best choice," Izuku stretched as well. "Perfect chance to test my experience."
"Alright, remember what happened when we fought Spider-Man, he picked us off one by one," Sato said, readying himself with his classmates. "We'll strategize, close combat team is up first!"
Izuku jumping into battle, then suddenly Togata's clothes began falling off, freaking out the entire class, especially Jiro.
"I did not need to see that…" Mayday mentally lamented, then turned to her weirded out cousin. "Neither did Flurry for that matter."
"Hey man! Why did your clothes just fall off!?" Sero asked.
"Whoops, sorry," Mirio said, trying to put his pants back on. "My quirk's kind of tricky."
"Bad move! You're open!" Izuku went for a kick, one that completely phased through Togata. "Mayday was right, he has a phasing quirk, similar to that of Shadowcat. What should I do?"
"Went for the face? Clever," Togata said, still using his powers as Sero, Mina and Yuga tried using projectiles.
"Did we get him?" Tenya asked, looking to see the smoke clearing and no sign of Togata.
"I guess I should take out the long-distance fighters!" Mirio said, suddenly appearing behind Jiro, fully nude and freaking the girl out again.
"He just warped!" Sato said
"Dang it, how'd he luck out with such a neat quirk!?" Kirishima wondered.
"It's not his quirk you need to be jealous of," Tamaki commented. Tokoyami tried to attack with Dark Shadow but Togata ducked and dealt out a powerful blow to his stomach. "It's his skills that sets him apart, foolish first years." He then hit stomach blows to Sero and Mineta. "Mirio did a work study with some heroes, and didn't stop there." Mirio then hit a stomach punch to Yuga, Mina and Tsuyu as the three attacked with a Naval Laser, acid and a long tongue respectively. "He kept building himself up." He then nailed punches to Jiro, Shouji, Kaminari and Momo, the latter trying to make a shield but proving to have no effect.
Togata finally put his pants back on, posing as he left everyone injured, "POWAH!"
"Power?" a confused Mayday wondered.
"Mirio Togata..." Aizawa commented. "Easily top candidate to be the next Number One Hero. Including the pros."
"Wow he's strong, and fast," Mayday said. "I mean, I can see his movements but I don't think anyone else can. Most of them are just trying to gang up on him."
"He's already gotten inside their heads," Tamaki said.
"Seems like you helped with that, gloomy," Mayday said. "What's with you? Why do you look so bored?"
"I can't help it; it's just how I feel..." Tamaki said.
Shoto, who was standing on the sidelines, couldn't believe his eyes. "He took down half of them in an instant. A student closer to being Number One than most heroes."
"You're not gonna fight?" Aizawa asked. "I figured you'd want to aim for top spot."
"I didn't even get my Provisional License," Shoto pointed out.
"Guess he's slowly moving past it," Aizawa said.
"You should still try Shoto, you might fall behind in training," Mayday said. "At least use that motivation of failure to boost yourself."
"I'm fine just observing right now," Shoto said. "Something you need to take advantage of yourself."
"Not wrong," Mayday agreed.
"Hm...think I got all the distance fighters," Togata said. "Unless I missed one."
Flurry was lying in wait, the moment she saw everyone spamming, she figured that a head on attack wasn't going to work. She knows all too well that a single person can take out a group with the right movements.
"Gotta plan this carefully, so far he thinks he's taking out everyone long distance so he'll be expecting close quarters combat," Flurry charged her magic. "This is my chance to prove my worth as a hero, using my brains to fight just like Uncle Peter and Auntie Twilight!"
"Flurry's getting ready," Mayday said, Shoto focusing his attention on the girl.
Flurry leapt in, aiming her heart shaped hands, "CRYSTAL LOVE!"
The magic attack went right for Togata, but unfortunately for Flurry, he had fully anticipated that, phasing through and landing a strong punch to her stomach, knocking the wind out of her.
"Flurry!" Mayday shouted in worry.
"Thought she had him..." Shoto mentally lamented.
"A sneaky approach, good move," Mirio said, trying to fix his pants yet again. "Now, who will I fight next?"
"How did he pull that off!?" Kirishima wondered.
"It's one thing to phase through stuff, but warping too!?" Ochako asked.
"Such unrivaled power," Oujiro said.
"Save the flattery!" Mirio said, still ready to fight.
Tamaki scoffed to himself, "Unrivaled? Of course they'd think that, just like how a regular person just thinks a pro is impressive without knowing why. It will be difficult to match a person's hard work if you don't know a thing about that person."
"Are you saying that he's only strong because he has the element of the unknown?" Mayday asked.
"Not exactly, more like they're missing the point on why he's strong," Tamaki said. "Is your father strong because of his power? Or how he uses that power?"
"Easy, how he uses it," Mayday said. "Daddy's strong but he's smart too."
"Exactly, they're not thinking about the intelligence factor, only strength," Tamaki said. "That will be their ultimate downfall."
Mayday focused back on the students, "You got this Izuku...take blondie down!"
"There's more to his quirk than we're seeing," Izuku said. "Whether it's slipping through matter or warping through space. He's still landing is attacks directly. We should be able to counter him the moment he's about to make contact. Even if we can't tell what he's doing, we can theorize what we do know. Use that knowledge to find a way to beat him."
"You said it Midoriya," Kirishima said. "House arrest did nothing to dampen your fighting spirit."
Mirio rushed in to attack again, then suddenly phased again into the ground, losing his pants.
"He went under!" Sato said.
"He'll probably pop out..." Izuku turned to see Togata coming from the ground as he turned to fight. "THERE!"
Togata's eyes widened in shock, "He anticipated my movements!?" Izuku was about to attack but Togata still phased through. "Take this Ultimate Move! Blinder Touch Eyeball Thrust!" He phased his hand through Izuku's head, which did indeed blind the boy long enough for Mirio to land a punch to his stomach. "Most people try to counter like you did, something I've picked up along the way! So I trained to work around those moves, good shot though."
"Midoriya!" Tenya shouted in worry.
"Izuku!" Mayday was about to leap in when Aizawa erased her powers, causing the girl to stumble and trip. "Ow!"
"Sorry, but you know you're not supposed to interfere," Aizawa said, going to help her up. "You're just going to have to see them fight."
By this point, Mirio finished up fast, landing the final blows to Tenya, then Kirishima, then Koda, then Sato, then Oujiro, and a double punch to Ochako and Toru.
"POWAAAAAAAAAH!" Togata cheered yet again.
"Wow, check out Togata, he's gotten really strong," Nejire said, then turned to Tamaki. "Are you even watching?"
"Mirio's been strong since we were little kids," Tamaki said, then gestured to the injured students. "But he doesn't know how to hold back."
"Man, he really messed them all up," Mayday said. "And he's only a student? This is almost as bad as what my dad did, though at least he held back and tried not to actually hurt anyone."
"If your father wanted to, he could have defeated us swiftly," Shoto said. "He wanted us to have a fighting chance, something Togata showed very little of."
"Yeah, he's got the energy," Neijire said.
The kids had picked themselves up as the Big Three stood before them in the gym, things looking a bit damp however.
"I tried to make sure you couldn't see my privates, sorry if you got a peek, but that's what it's like fighting me," Mirio said, the entire class still in pain and feeling ashamed of their loss. For them, this was worse than Spider-Man, since at least he was an experienced pro, it wasn't as bad as losing to an upperclassman.
"We all just got punched in the stomach without even knowing what was happening," Izuku said.
"So what'd you think? My quirk's pretty strong huh?" Togata said.
"Yeah! Too Strong!" Sero shouted.
"So not fair!" Toru said.
"Come on, it can't be that different from Mayday Parker, here," Nejire said, gesturing to Mayday. "I mean, she knocked two of you completely out cold at the sports festival in the blink of an eye."
"Yes, I remember," Momo said, rubbing her jaw.
"She is very fast, no different than our third year peer," Tenya said.
"My Legend holds true," Mayday mentally boasted.
"Still, at least she has the explanation of being Spider-Man's daughter, what's your thing!?" Mina asked. "You can phase through stuff and warp! Do you have two powers like Todoroki!?"
"No, I only have one," Mirio said.
"Hey, hey, I know what his quirk is, can I say it?" Nejire asked, Togata giving the thumbs up. "Permeation! Cool right!?"
"Hado, let Mirio explain his own power," Tamaki said.
"Also what's with the fancy name?" Mayday asked. "I never once heard Kitty use a word like that."
"Kitty?" Neijire asked.
"Kitty Pride, Shadowcat," Tamaki said. "The girl with similar powers to Mirio."
"Oh right! That girl!" Nejire said. "She's really cool."
"Well like my friend here said, I have permeation, an alternative application of a warp," Mirio said.
"So how do you warp exactly?" Izuku asked, fake writing on his hand like if it were a notepad. "Also how similar is your power to that of Shadowcat?"
"Wait, who's Shadowcat exactly?" Kaminari asked, earning a confused glance from many of his classmates.
"How do you not know who Shadowcat is? She's not that obscure! She's even led the X-Men at least once!" Mayday shouted. "I know the X-Men aren't ones for the spotlight but come on! You want a forgettable member of The X-Men? Try Forge, no one remembers him."
"Mayday, I literally talked about Forge the other day," Flurry said. "He isn't that obscure."
"Still, Kitty deserves way more respect than to be treated like an afterthought," Mayday said. "She has a freaken pet dragon!"
"At least Mayday didn't get this annoyed at me when I nearly forgot about Shadowcat," Izuku felt. "Of course she does tend to yell at our classmates."
"Parker's mean as usual," Kaminari thought to himself.
"Wish she'd dial back that tone of hers," Ochako mentally criticized.
"Well if I may chime in, I actually get compared to Shadowcat a lot, it's actually quite an honor, I'll get to that in a second though," Togata said. "For my quirk, once I activate with my entire body, I can pass through anything no sweat. Even the ground."
"So is that why it looked like you were falling through the floor?" Ochako asked.
"That's right, I went deep underground," Mirio explained. "Then when I release it, I get repelled upwards since things with mass can't overlap. Physics are fun huh?"
"According to Uncle Peter they are," Flurry said. "He uses physics a lot when swinging to make sure he has the right altitude and direction."
"He made me memorize all that stuff, Miles too," Mayday said.
"Well similar to me, when I release my quirk and the ground spits my out, I can be thrown at different spots," Togata said.
"It sounds like a glitch in a video game though," Mina pointed out.
"Wow, that's actually funny," Mirio said.
"You can phase through attacks and move where you want in an instant," Tsuyu said. "You were born with a really strong quirk then."
"Not entirely true, I'm only strong because I worked for it," Mirio said. "When I'm using my quirk, I can't take in oxygen. Plus my ear drums don't work and light can't reach my retinas. I can pass through anything, but I can't feel anything in that state. It doesn't even feel like I have a body at times, and if I'm not careful, I can probably fall forever."
"So you could reach the Earth's core?" Flurry asked.
"Yeah, probably," Mirio said. "Even simple things require a lot of steps. Say a wall, I activate everything except one leg. Then I release the other leg and land on it. Then the first leg is the last one to go through. Even the simplest action has a bunch of different steps."
"Wow, I feel like I'd mess that up each time I tried," Kaminari said.
"Earlier one of you asked how my quirk compares to Shadowcat, and truthfully, she probably has it better than me," Mirio said. "As a kid, I researched her abilities to see how similar we are, that's when I learned so many differences. For starters, she can not only phase herself, but others too, even objects. That's why she never has to worry about losing her clothes when she phases through things."
"Aw, bummer," Mineta lamented, earning an annoyed glare from Mayday.
"Also she doesn't get spit out by overlapping objects, if anything she can destroy the object she phases through, comes in handy if she's trying to destroy a robot or something," Mirio said. "Plus, turns out she can breathe when she uses her quirk, and she's even mastered it so she can walk on air."
"Whoa, didn't realize how strong Shadowcat is. That girl is super impressive," Kirishima said.
"Well that makes sense, she's had great teachers, like the legendary Wolverine," Mirio said. "And she's one of Spider-Man's UA classmates and one of his best friends. In fact, I hear they grew up together."
"They did, my uncle's also been protective of her too," Flurry said. "Like whenever she got teased about her powers, he was always there to stand up for her. It didn't mean much at one point since he was the school loser, but he still did his best. He never let anyone get teased for anything."
"How can someone like Spider-Man be considered a loser?" Jiro asked. "Dude's really nice."
"He's smart too, like isn't he a genius?" Kaminari asked.
"That stuff is good in Japan, but in America, you get teased for being a genius, for the most part" Flurry said. "The popular ones are the jocks, like anyone who plays sports. Uncle Peter was a computer nerd, so that equaled not being popular."
"Yeah, one such example was a jock named Flash Thompson who treated my dad like crap because he played sports and my dad didn't," Mayday said. "Little did that loser know that my dad would become a legendary hero while he became an afterthought."
"Didn't Uncle Peter make peace with Flash though?" Flurry asked.
"Yeah, Johnny said they did, but it could just be because he wanted to save whatever dignity he still had," Mayday said. "Not like my dad had to forgive him, so he's even more lucky."
"Why was she teased about her powers?" Mina asked.
"A lot of kids in that school were quirkless, so they were jealous of anyone who had a quirk and made it their mission to make that kid feel like a freak," Mayday said.
"How repulsive," Tenya said.
"It is, one of the reasons I freaking hate bullies," Mayday said. "It's also one of the reasons my dad did his best to keep his powers on the downlow. He was already an outcast, he didn't need things to be worse."
"This might further explain why Mayday seems to really dislike Kacchan," Izuku noted.
"Still, it is nice of Spider-Man to stand up for Shadowcat," Momo said. "Peter is quite the gentleman I should say."
"I actually have a lot of respect for Spider-Man myself, he has that positive attitude that gets him through things, even when they seem dire," Togata said. "That's the type of hero I want to emulate."
"Still, gotta say, hearing how strong you are is tough enough to hear as it is," Kirishima said. "But knowing someone has your ability but is stronger, I don't even know if I can reach that level."
"We all start out small," Togata said. "Growing up, I constantly got left behind. I was dead last. If I wanted to make it to the top, I had to make my quirk better, using my intellect. I had to think on my feet and predict what would happen next. I did that thanks to experience outside the school. This is a bit roundabout, but that's why I wanted to fight. Experience is a better teacher than words after all, that's why so many pros are great nowadays, they learned on the field. This might be strange to hear, but there are things even a school can't teach you after all."
"Sounds like more stuff Uncle Peter says...especially about Auntie Twilight's School of Friendship," Flurry recalled that even Peter seemed to find the idea strange.
"What you said isn't strange at all, life is a better teacher than academics," Mayday said. "That's the mindset I've embraced over the years, helped me through my suspension."
"Which, you are back on, effective immediately," Aizawa said. "Make your way to the dorm."
"Hey, you're not bothered about what I just said, are you?" Mayday asked. "I mean even you would probably admit-"
"Mayday...please, before you get another day of suspension..." Izuku pleaded.
Mayday sighed in annoyance, "Alright, only for you Izuku." She turned to the Big Three, "Nice meeting you. Nejire, you look fun and you're very friendly. I'm totally down to hang out with you."
"Wow, I'm so honored!" Nejire said. "It was so nice seeing you too!"
"Tamaki, try to hang in there, socialization can suck for some people but clearly you have a good head on your shoulders, students need your rationality," Mayday said.
"Don't expect much out of me, you'll only be disappointed," Tamaki said.
Mayday raised her eyebrow at that, feeling a bit worried before brushing it off, "Mirio, you're strong, and you got talent. One day I hope to be able to go against you and give you a real fight."
"We should make time for that, thank you for stopping by," Mirio said. "I hope you got something out of this."
"Sure did," Mayday said. "Don't get punched in the stomach."
"Mayday..." Izuku scolded.
"Oh take a joke," Mayday said, making her peace. "Peace out."
"What a brat," Many in the class thought.
"I really need to talk to her about her behavior, this is not helping her image," Izuku rationalized.
"That girl needs to work on her brain to mouth filter," Aizawa mentally noted. "Still, I did learn a thing or two about her. She has a stronger sense of justice than I gave her credit for, if I could nurture that, she could end up being a good hero like her father. Hopefully less of a wild card than he is too."
"Moving on, our work studies don't treat us like guests like the internships do, we're treated like an official sidekick, or even a pro," Mirio said. "It can be really scary, pros can get hurt, or they could see others get hurt, even die. But that experience is still something you can't get inside a classroom. I transformed my work study experience into power, that got me to the top spot, and why I think they're worth it, regardless of how scary it is. Get me first years!?"
"Experience into power..." that idea gave Izuku something to really think about.
"Wow, he even talks like a pro," Oujiro said.
"He went through a lot that he could have just easily explained, well done," Momo said.
"Guess things really are different, I feel like I missed out on a lot during my internship," Kaminari said.
"Yeah, they try not to let us do anything too dangerous," Jiro said. "I mean, I did run into The Brotherhood, but even then Death Arms seemed reluctant to let me anywhere near the fight."
"Guess during work studies, that stuff is a guarantee," Sero said.
"With our licenses, we'll be seen as pros," Tenya said.
"Yeah, it will be different for sure," Ochako said. "All that stuff about experience, it sounds like something Peter would say. He did use to go on vigilante missions after all."
"We gotta prepare ourselves for that," Sato said.
"Just what I wanted," Kirishima said.
"This is why we came to UA, to be pro heroes!" Toru said.
"We have to keep climbing," Tokoyami said.
"And go Plus Ultra!" Koda said.
Shoto began to lament a bit, "I have to get my Provisional License soon, or I'll fall behind."
"Let's get back to class now," Aizawa said. "But first, thank them for their assistance."
"Thank you very much!" The class said to the Big Three.
The Big Three began making their own way back to class, Togata looking satisfied.
"So, do you think we got the point across to them?" Nejire asked.
"Probably, I'm just glad I didn't have to do anything," Takami said.
Flurry took note of them leaving, still impressed by Mirio's power. Granted she felt like she saw too much of him, something the class can relate to, he still had a positive attitude that she appreciated, similar to Nejire. She just wishes Tamaki had a bit more enthusiasm, but she knows all too well that some are just anti-social by nature. At least here it's not that big of a deal compared to her home country.
She then saw Deku glancing at his hand, and Flurry knows him well enough to know that he's having a realization. "Izuku?"
"Huh?" Izuku turned to face his classmate. "Oh, hey Flurry. What a day huh?"
"Yeah, nice seeing other students," Flurry said. "So, that Mirio guy, pretty strong."
"Sure is, amazing too since his quirk held him back for some time," Izuku said. "Kind of like mine did."
"Yeah, I still remember when it broke your limbs," Flurry said. "Thankfully you're gaining better control."
"Togata wasn't even born with a strong quirk, he made it that way through training," Izuku said. "That's what put him at the top, hard work over natural talent."
"Both are important, those born weaker just have more to work for of course," Flurry said. "But like an old saying goes, Talent without Training is nothing."
"I don't think I've heard that saying," Izuku said.
"Ask Uncle Peter, he'll tell you who he heard it from," Flurry said. "Anyway lets hurry before sensei notices you're gone and gets annoyed."
"Yeah, sure," Izuku said, following after Flurry.
In the backyard of Capsule Corp, Trunks is seen going through a small obstacle course, taking down dummies in battle. Trunks had a lot of frustration to vent out, designing the dummies to resemble the Class A students, especially Izuku made it even more cathartic each time Trunks blasted them.
Bulma fortunately had a forcefield around Capsule Corp to ensure none of Trunks's spare energy destroyed anything beyond, though she knew that forcefield could only hold up for so long, hopefully long enough for Trunks to get it out of his system.
"Is he still training?" Vegeta asked, stepping outside with Goku.
"If you can even call it that, he's still very sore about the Provisional Exam," Bulma said. "I mean, he has a second chance in a few months so I don't know why he's still this upset."
"Because the fact is that he failed, and it bothers him," Vegeta said. "He's a proud boy who does not handle failure well. But, it is important for him to use that motivation to better himself and not throw a fit."
"He also needs to know that power isn't everything if he wants to be a superhero," Bulma said.
"Trunks seemed pretty mad at one group of students too," Vegeta said. "Those kids from Class 1-A"
"You trained one of them, didn't you Vegeta?" Goku asked.
"Eijiro Kirishima, he's a boy with guts though needs to work on his precision and timing," Vegeta said. "Sounds like he's done well though since he has his license."
"The only students from that who failed were Endeavor's son and that Explosion Boy from the Sports Festival," Bulma said. "But the fact that 20 of those kids passed in the first place is still amazing."
"Seems like we'll be seeing more of them in the future," Vegeta said.
"Oh you bet, who knows, a few of them might work for us," Bulma said. "Though, until Trunks's temper dies down, maybe we should hold off on any offers."
"I hate to admit it since I don't think Trunks should be acting this immature," Vegeta said. "But, you might be right. Still, I hate having to accommodate for Trunks when he should be a bigger man than this. I fear he may have gotten this type of reaction from me, as even I once did not handle failure well."
"Hey to your credit, you did a better job at converting those feelings into power," Goku said. "Trunks will get there too, he's just full of warrior's passion."
"Like a true Saiyan," Vegeta said. "By the way, Gohan's been to that school, has he seen anything impressive?"
"Yeah, that boy, Izuku Midoriya, he's got great reflexes," Goku said. "Plus not only is he controlling his power better, he's adapting a new martial arts style, focusing a lot of attacks using his kicks."
"Impressive," Vegeta said. "That boy is very popular with Spider-Man and his family I believe."
"According to Gohan, he is," Goku said. "Peter's daughter is really infatuated with him."
"Another one for the Spider-Man family then," Bulma said. "I can see Izuku and Mayday being a cute couple."
"Probably, there's another girl that according to Videl might like Izuku, and it makes Mayday a bit jealous," Goku said.
"She is very protective of him, given what we saw when watching the Practical Exams," Vegeta said. "She should be careful not to let poor decisions cloud her judgement."
"It's bound to happen, girls can be very single minded when it comes to boys," Bulma said. "But it might not be a bad thing, like anger, love can be a useful emotion to help you get better."
"Like the time our brave Prince Vegeta really let Beerus have it when he smacked his fair maiden," Goku teased, much to Vegeta's annoyance.
"Don't make me hurt you," the prince warned.
"Take a joke pal," Goku said, keeping the mood light, then focused back on Trunks. "One thing that Trunks needs to remember is Friendship. He won't get far alone, hopefully his current fight with Goten doesn't last long."
"Sounds like Twilight Sparkle really drilled that lesson into your head," Bulma said.
"Eh, the weird thing is that despite her title, she's not very Friendly," Goku said. "She thinks I'm a big oaf or something."
"Gee, wonder why she could think that?" Vegeta sarcastically commented.
"She also talks like that too...wait, is this a Royalty thing?" Goku asked.
"Put a sock in it," Vegeta said. "Though, I will say that Trunks should value his allies, just like Princess Twilight and her husband."
"Twilight talks about the Magic of Friendship, and it sounds like a silly Fairy Tale but it really works," Bulma said, gesturing to the side. "Just ask Yugi Moto and his friends."
To the side, Pan was seen playing the Duel Monsters game against Yugi's friend Jounichi, or Joey as he was more commonly called.
"You got this Pan!" Bulla said.
"Alright, I play...Gemini Elf!" Pan said, placing the card down. "In attack mode!"
"Ha! Good luck pulling a card to beat that!" Bulla taunted.
Joey could only smirk at the two, "You're both adorable, and that card could beat a lot of mine, but not this one." He then played one of his best cards, "Red-Eyes Black Dragon! Attack Mode!"
"Ugh, his Red-Eyes, I forgot he didn't play it yet!" Pan lamented. "I should have put it in defense!"
"Sorry, but that's the rest of your life points," Joey said.
"Aw...I almost had it too," Pan whined. "I'll never be as good as Yugi."
"I didn't start out an expert, it took years of practice before I got to where I am, and even now I'm still learning and getting better," Yugi said. "It's like your father and grandfather, they started off as martial arts novices and trained to be better. Your grandfather is still trying to break past his own limits."
"So is my dad," Bulla said.
"Exactly, you'll do fine Pan, just keep training," Yugi said. "Both your body and mind."
"Yes sir," Pan said.
"We should do this again," Joey said. "Next time, we'll bring the whole gang with us, Yugi."
"Oh, can you bring that Dungeon Dice Monsters game too? It's really fun!" Bulla said.
"I'll be sure to do so," Yugi said. He heard the door open and his rival. "Kaiba."
Kaiba, who was standing beside Medaka, merely turned away, "Great, he's here too."
"Be nice, even Vegeta-Senpai is friends with Goku," Medaka said.
"They're not friends, Vegeta just tolerates him," Kaiba said.
Goku turned around, "Yo! Seto! Medaka!"
"Goku!" Medaka said, hi-fiving the Saiyan. "Glad you're here, I could use a little sparring before my patrol."
"Sure, we'll use the Gravity Chamber, if Vegeta's fine with it," Goku said.
"Doesn't bother me," Vegeta said, then turned to a still scowling Kaiba. "Bothered by Yugi Moto?"
"It's not only that he's here, he had to bring that dweeb, Joey," Kaiba said.
"Come on Seto, it's been like twenty years, can't you acknowledge him as an equal?" Bulma asked.
"When pigs fly," Kaiba said.
"Uh...you know that's possible, right?" Bulma asked.
"You know what I mean," Kaiba said. "At least those other nerds aren't here as well."
"They have names, Seto," Bulma said.
"Oh yeah, should I call them by their actual names or the ones Spider-Man uses because he can't remember their Japanese names so he gave them American nicknames," Seto said.
"He did that once and it kind of stuck, he knows their names by now," Bulma said. "Still, not sure where he got Tristen and Tea from, but they both seem to like it. One of them was even nice enough to land Pan her deck."
"Seto!" Bulla said, running over to the boy. "Good, you're here. Can I borrow your deck so I can beat up Joey?"
"You know I would love to but you're still very new," Kaiba said. "Last thing I want is that dweeb giving my deck a run for its money. Why don't we make time to practice later and I'll teach you more on how to use the cards. That way you won't just beat that dork, you'll destroy him."
"I won't just destroy him, I'll make him now to the Saiyan Princess," Bulla said, holding her arm out. "Triumphing over my foes, just like daddy does."
Kaiba couldn't help but crack a smile, "You're certainly ambitious."
"She's got fire, fitting for the girl whom I call my daughter," Vegeta said, proudly smirking himself.
"Men and their little girls, it's a wholesome sight," Bulma said. "Just like Peter and his daughter. There's nothing he wouldn't do for her."
"He's always been good with kids, he and his wife really helped me and Chi-Chi out when it came to Gohan and Goten," Goku said.
"They also helped out with Trunks when he was a baby," Bulma said. "Peter was really friendly to us, and he barely even knew us at the time."
"Yeah, you liked him so much, everyone thought you had the hots for him," Medaka said.
"Excuse me, he was only seventeen at the time, I wasn't that desperate for a guy," Bulma said. "Plus it worked out well for me and him, we both found our perfect matches in the end."
"Seriously, if I had a nickel for every girl who found Peter attractive," Medaka said. "I can't talk much since I found him attractive too, but what's his secret?"
"Easy, he's strong but sensitive, he has a charming wit but knows when to get serious," Bulma said. "Now he's not the perfect guy, I mean he does act on emotion and makes dumb choices from time to time but for a girl, it's not about perfection, it's about appreciating the pros over the cons."
"You're right about that," Medaka said.
"Hey! Everyone!" Trunks called. "Who wants to spar with me!"
"Oh, I do!" Pan said, about to run toward Trunks. "Let's fight!"
"Huh?" Goku remembered that her parents and grandmother would rather Pan not fight Trunks when he's like this. "Pan! Wait! Don't!"
"Let's go!" Vegeta said, everyone rushing to stop the fight.
Meanwhile at the mall, Bobby and Rarity were both shopping, the latter looking to be enjoying herself.
"You know what I love about different countries?" Rarity asked. "All the unique fashion choices. Japan has so many wonderful things, including the cutest dresses."
"Yeah, sure," Bobby said.
"Something wrong dear?" Rarity asked.
"I can't even tell," Bobby said. "Sounds like weird things have been happening lately. It started when I ran into that melting guy or whatever."
"You told Peter about it, didn't you?" Rarity asked.
"Yeah, sounds like Peter met him before, and from what he heard from Franklin, I think it's just a special ability for an enemy named Twice," Bobby said.
"He and his team are the ones that worked with that despicable All for One Villain," Rarity said. "It sounds like the trouble isn't over."
"Like for real, even Logan's having a hard time finding them," Bobby said. "They knew how to cover their tracks and now they're planning another strike. I don't know what their goal is but if I were to guess, these people just want to rule the world, starting with Japan."
"To think one of them infiltrated the exams," Rarity said.
"Peter was definitely worried, I mean thankfully no one got hurt, that Camie girl is doing well too," Bobby said. "Seriously, how this didn't bother her is beyond me, I've heard of optimism but good God that was on a whole different level."
"I'm just glad she's safe, I'd hate for these young heroes to really get hurt," Rarity said.
"It's gonna happen, because the higher ups really want kids out there fighting dangerous villain," Bobby said. "Seriously, that shit just ticks me off. I shouldn't talk since I would sneak away and do this crap but that was my choice. Even Professor X didn't always expect us kids to go out and fight, and that guy had plenty to hide himself."
"What should hero society do then?" Rarity asked.
"Take what they have now, bulk them up and use them," Bobby said. "Keep Izuku Midoriya and his friends away from the big stuff for now. Goten passed the exam, he's young but closer to adulthood, he can handle it."
"Ironic considering one of Gohan's greatest hero feats was at the age of nine," Rarity said.
"Because his dad threw him into a fight," Bobby said. "Cell's just lucky that I had to hold back against him, but I probably should have taken the chance. At least nowadays I have better control over my abilities."
"Cell was mostly immune to your powers though," Rarity said. "He had your cells too after all, just like Johnny, just like the Z Warriors, he even had mine. Thankfully he couldn't do magic well but Cell would not have been as easy of a win as you might have thought."
"I just worry about these kids, that's all," Bobby said. "I'd hate for our kids to go through something like this in the future."
"That would be bad," Rarity said in agreement.
As the two continued on, they heard a familiar voice call to them," Bobby! Rarity!"
Bobby turned around to see a friend of his, "Yo, Remy!"
Rarity turned to see her own friend, "Applejack!"
"Good to see you both!" Applejack said.
"Bro, how's it going?" Bobby said, fist bumping Remy.
"I missed you, dear!" Rarity said, hugging Applejack.
"Hey Rares," Applejack said.
"I'm so glad you're back on your feet, especially after what that terrible Scorpion did," Rarity said.
"Ah was fine in a few days, Remy just had me go back to the farm fer a bit," Applejack said. "Sorry ah didn't get much of a chance to see you, or even phone ya."
"You two staying in Japan again?" Bobby asked.
"Yeah, Peter wanted to know if we'd be around to help stop them League of Villains guys," Remy said. "We brought our kids this time, they'll stay here while Apple Bloom and Big Macintosh take turns watching our farm back in New York."
"Rogue will be helping too, and any X-Men in the area," Applejack said.
"Sounds like Peter's getting ready to work then," Bobby said. "Won't be long before those League people are dealt with, hopefully."
"Well Peter didn't stop at us, he's looking into getting as much as he can to help," Remy said. "He and Logan fear that a war's starting, and they want to be ready for it."
"I'm all for pushing villains back," Bobby said. "Maybe you and I can come up with plans, it'd help since you actually had a run in with those guys."
"Won't forget it, that All for One was one scary powerful villain," Remy said. "Given what he did to our friends though, I am more than willing to make him regret messing with us."
"Meet at your place then," Bobby said.
"Of course, more than welcome to," Applejack said, leading them off. "Follow us."
Later at the 1-A Alliance Building.
"HEEEEEEY!" Bakugo shouted, holding a bag. "If you got trash to throw out, give it here now!"
Kirishima ran over with a bag, "Bakugo, thanks!"
"SURE!" Bakugo shouted.
Tokoyami also walked over with a bag, "I also have some."
"HAND IT OVER!" Bakugo demanded.
"Mine too," Kaminari said.
"And mine," Sero said.
"This is heavy," Mineta said as he dragged the bag over.
Soon almost everyone was coming with garbage, much to Bakugo's annoyance, "You bastards, its like you were hoarding this for weeks!"
"They totally did it on purpose," Mayday said, dragging her own share. "Katsuki, I can throw this out if you want, why don't you go relax or something."
"I don't need your pity!" Bakugo angrily insisted.
"It's not pity, I'm just trying to be friendly to you," Mayday said.
"You won't hypnotize me with your Friendship Magic!" Bakugo said.
"It's not...oh forget it, do whatever the hell you want," Mayday said, dropping her share of garbage. "You can do that too for all I care."
"Carry your own weight!" Bakugo shouted. "Don't' be lazy!"
"LAZY!?" Mayday shouted, the two getting into a spat, much to the annoyance of the class.
"They sound like an old married couple," Kaminari said.
He immediately regretted that as both Mayday and Katsuki angrily turned their heads toward him, "WHAT WAS THAT!?"
Meanwhile Mina seemed to be in high spirits, "Togata's story of how he went from last place to first was so cool, wasn't it!?"
"I'm hoping we get into a work study now," Tsuyu said.
"Yeah same, I wonder if Spider-Man's doing anything like that?" Ochako said.
"Well he took you in as an intern once, so I guess that means he's allowed to bring in students if he so chooses," Tsuyu said. "You're lucky though Ochako, I'd like to be able to train with Spider-Man myself, Mayday actually told me that I'd make a good fit since I can crawl on walls like he can, and swing, even if its with my tongue. Also being able to camouflage myself at least makes me similar to his own sidekick."
"That reminds me, how can that Kid Arachnid guy be his sidekick if he's still in New York?" Jiro asked.
"Spider-Man's agency is still there, and it's being run by a friend of his, Ghost Spider," Ochako said. "She's taking Kid Arachnid in as her sidekick for the time being until Peter returns to New York."
"Well, it's all about whether or not we'll be able to it in the first place," Momo said.
Flashback
"You heard about the Work Study Program from the Big Three, but it's unknown if you'll be able to do it right now," Aizawa said. "We teachers will discuss that at the next faculty meeting, and how we'll be handling the media in that regard."
End Flashback
Izuku was in his room, thinking his plans over, "I need to take some initiative, better than sitting and waiting."
He dialed a phone number, which was answered by a very familiar pro hero. "Yeah, how can I help you?"
"Hello, Gran Torino? It's me, Izuku Midoriya," the boy greeted. "I was calling to ask you about a work study."
"Work Study!?" Gran Torino asked. "Wait, who is this again?"
"I was wondering if you'd be taking a student in for Work Study," Izuku said.
"Oh, you finally remember me then?" Gran Torino taunted. "Well kid, I'm working on something else right now. Oh wait, I remember you! The useless successor who failed at the Sports Festival!"
"Huh!?" Izuku was immediately hurt by that response, recalling his loss to Bakugo days prior. "It's because I was so useless that I want to work harder to get to being number one."
"That much is obvious, but I do like your determination," Gran Torino said. "But you should be asking your master, not me. He's supposed to be devoted to teaching now that he's retired."
"Mr. Aizawa told us that it'd be smart to use our connections from our internships to pursue work study," Izuku said.
"Well yeah, but you don't need to go that route," Gran Torino said. "Besides, you're ignoring the most obvious connection you have right now."
"Huh? What other connection do I have?" Izuku asked.
"Spider-Man of course! Aren't you good friends with his daughter!?" Gran Torino said. "Honestly that's probably the best teacher you can have right now!"
"Oh right, Mayday did say he wanted to train me, even All Might expected him to be my new mentor should he have died fighting All for One. I just wasn't sure since it'd be easier to get someone who's familiar with One for All," Izuku said.
"Spider-Man knows about it, I'm guessing he's told you that," Gran Torino said.
"Yeah, he has, but even if he knows, does that mean he has anything to teach me about it?" Izuku asked.
"Kid, your trainer doesn't need a whole lot of knowledge about One for All, plus even if Spider-Man still had questions, you both know All Might," Gran Torino said. "But Spider-Man has a lot to teach you. He's got the speed to keep up with you, the strength to spar with you, if anything he surpasses you in both departments. Plus he's quite the martial artist, between training he's gotten from Captain America and Shang Chi, in addition to his run ins with actual martial artists, he's more than capable of training you himself."
"He is very talented, honestly I had trouble keeping up with his daughter, and Spider-Man is well beyond her level," Izuku said.
"She has a lot of room to grow herself," Gran Torino said. "But there are things that Spider-Man can teach you that you won't get from anyone else. I'd say his strongest muscle is his heart, there's so much you can learn about being a hero from training with that young man. My suggestion, go with him, it will turn out great for you."
"Yeah, you're right. I will, thanks for the suggestion Gran Torino," Izuku said.
"Honestly you didn't even need me to suggest him," Gran Torino said. "I appreciate that you took initiative, but it was misguided. You're too focused on what you're told to do sometimes that you keep forgetting the obvious."
"Of course sir," Izuku said. "Guess I should call Spider-Man, I hope he's not busy himself."
"I think he should be able to train you, but if that doesn't go through for some reason, All Might's former sidekick could take you in," Gran Torino said. "Thinking about it, he might be good to train Spider-Man's daughter. Teach her a bit more about fighting than just throwing punches."
"Right...Sir Nighteye..." Izuku recalled.
At an agency, a lady sidekick called Bubble Girl had come into a dark room to greet her boss, "Sir! I have news!" She noticed him looking intently at his computer. "Well you're Low Key."
In the very room was Sir Nighteye, the man turning to face the girl, "Let's hear the report, and don't take too long."
"Yes sir," Bubble Girl said. "A man we're investigating is on the move. Overhaul, the head of the Shie Hassaikai."
"Overhaul..." Nighteye remarked, aware of how intense things are going to get. "What do you think he's doing?"
"It seems he's made contact with The League of Villains," Bubble Girl confirmed.
Elsewhere Twice was seen leading a man to an abandoned factory, the man seemingly disgusted by the sight.
"This is your base? How unsanitary," The man known as Overhaul said.
"Oh like we'd show you our main base, this is just a meeting spot," Twice sassed.
"This is ridiculous, the air is practically made of dust here, I'm gonna be sick," Overhaul said..
"Join the club, my friends have been sick for years," Twice remarked as he opened the door to the factory where The League of Villains and The Brotherhood were waiting.
"About time you showed up," Pyro said, flickering some fire. "Way to keep us waiting."
"Yeah, I'm back, and I have that dude with me. He wanted to chat with all of you, guy's quiet but pretty cool," Twice said. "He comes off as a total creep."
Boom curiously glanced at his face, "What's with that mask? Is he like a Toucan guy or something?"
"Actually Boon-Boom, this is a very big catch for us," Shigaraki said. "Twice did well."
Overhaul coughed a bit, glaring a hole through Shigaraki, both sides currently unaware of a third faction nearby, one member tipping his sunglasses a bit to reveal red eyes while another man in red flashed a sinister grin, ready for what came next.
"Be ready to make your presence known, I'll remain in the shadows for a little bit longer," the man in sunglasses said.
"My team is ready, Albert," the man in red said. "This will be fun."
On a roof not too far away, Peter felt a strange feeling pass through his body. He could tell things were about to get worse.
"Peter, what's wrong?" Twilight asked, the woman also patrolling.
"I can't help but feel like something bad is going to happen," Peter said. "Camie getting drugged, the License Exams getting infiltrated, Bobby's run in with Twice."
"You feel like The League is preparing an attack," Twilight said.
"It's going to happen, it's a matter of when," Peter said. "Of course there's still all these other potential villains. With All Might retired, people will get bold and try their hand at taking over. I mean, what's to stop villains from New York or Equestria from coming over."
"Why would they? I can't see what their motivation would be," Twilight said.
"Maybe I'm worrying too much," Peter said.
"It's good to be cautious, just try not to go overboard," Twilight said.
"I can't take any chances, especially with those kids being trained to fight," Peter said. "I have to make sure they stay safe, I don't want anything bad happening to Izuku, Ochako and especially not Flurry and Mayday. They may have their licenses but that doesn't mean they're ready for everything."
"Don't worry, we'll be there to protect them," Twilight said, placing her hand on his back. "Not alone either, all of our friends are out there."
Peter knew that was true, as even now Logan was seen patrolling the streets, Gohan was flying in the cities up above. Even Videl, Johnny and Rainbow Dash were getting back in action, having fully recovered from what All for One did.
"We'll keep everyone safe, together," Peter said. "And put a stop to whatever All for One's allies are planning."
Meanwhile a police station office, Chun-Li, the woman still in Japan, couldn't help but look around in worry.
"What's wrong?" came the voice of Leon Kennedy.
"Nothing, I just had a bad feeling, that's all," Chun-Li said.
"Welcome to the club," Leon said.
Chun-Li glanced out the window, thinking to herself, "All for One's in jail, his underlings should be all that's left, yet why do I feel like the main problem isn't over yet?"
Back at UA, Izuku glanced up at the night sky, thinking about his future. A chance to train with Peter, the Amazing Spider-Man, and be one step closer to Number One. But as he thought about Peter, he too thought about Mayday.
Down below, the girl was looking over some notes that Flurry had given her. Despite Tenya's warning, Flurry had gone ahead to let Mayday borrow her notes. Much as Mayday wasn't bothered by missing class, Flurry did stress to her how important it is to catch up, otherwise Mayday could really be lost.
Times like these, Mayday did miss her brief stint in Midtown Highschool. Workload wasn't as intense, kids were generally more fun to hang around and her Saturdays were free. In the midst of this, she thought back to the three students she met earlier.
"Big Three of UA huh? Fortunately for them, and especially this Mirio Togata guy, I wasn't participating today, I doubt he could have done anything to me," Mayday said. "But it sounds like I have to prepare for some work studies. Too bad Best Jeanist is hurt, I don't think I'd be able to work at his Agency again. Maybe Gohan and Videl have a spot open, or I can try one of the other famous Japanese pros. Who among the heroes in Japan is worthy of training me I wonder?"
Downtown, a ring portal opened, a young pink hedgehog stepping through, holding a giant hammer, "It's been so long since I've been to Japan. Just as pretty as I remember. I can't wait to see Peter again, and his family too," She put the ring portal away as she made her move, "Look out Earth, Amy Rose is back!"
The world of heroes was ready to expand once again, even beyond Earth.
That's the end of this Season. Thanks to everyone who enjoyed it, which given how big of a crossover this is, honestly I appreciate you giving the story a chance (and I do apologize if it's too overwhelming). Next one starts soon, will include more crossovers which have origin stories of their own. Probably won't be long before the sequel is out, until then, see you around.
