A/N hey everyone I'm sorry I haven't updated on this story in awhile I've been having writer's block and among things plus my cell phone has been acting up that's the main reason for why I haven't updated so I hope you guys can forgive me and everything so without further ado here's chapter 10 enjoy everyone
chapter 10. Reuniting
days had been going slow Scar decided to puck up the courage and confront Kumari he had asked Sarabi if she wouldn't mind watching Nandi and Vitani for a little while thankfully she did not and so Scar made his way to Pride Rock he noticed that Zazu and Kumari were the only ones there he heard Kumari sort of yell Scar had a feeling Kumari was yelling at Zazu as much as he wasn't a fon of Zazu he knew Kumari had no reason to yell at him
you know the law never ever mention that name in my presence "I'AM THE KING! Kumari yelled
Scar winced when Kumari yelled ever since Kumari became king he became more hostel towards everyone including him he had never thought that his and Mufasa's childhood friend would be like this Scar shook his head before walking into the main den of Pride Rock
Kumari? Scar called
ah Taka I never thought I'd see you here given after everything that has happened Kumari replied
my name is Scar Kumari "and why is Zazu in that rib cage? Scar said
oh that's just to keep the bird in check Kumari answered simply now why are you here?
I know what you did to my brother nephew and my son Scar replied darkly
do you now? well why don't you prove it then oh but you can't can you because you know what will happen if you reveal what happened that day Kumari said circling around Scar
I'am not afraid of you Kumari I've known you since we were cubs I never thought you would go down this level especially with regards to my son who was only 5 years old at the time
oh you mean that human whom you took in? if you ask me that human deserved death I've never liked humans and I'am surprised that you of all lions took in a human Kumari said
and what about my nephew who was only a cub did you seriously have to go and kill him to? "and why do you even want to be king especially in the Pride Lands? Scar asked glaring at Kumari
yes because he would've reminded me of his father your good for nothing brother who let the hyenas starve for all he cared and your so called nephew would've been a terrible king as well Kumari replied
Scar glared at Kumari he was getting more angry by the minute he had to come up with a plan to get rid Kumari he was always the smart one between him and his brother he hoped Nala would come back with help soon their lives depend on it Scar saw Kumari sneer and he growled before walking back to his den he greeted Nandi and Vitani as well as Sarabi and Sarafina and Sarafina's newborn cub Mneetu who was resting in her paws Scar laid down and interacted with Nandi and Vitani while gently holding little Mneetu in his paws he smiled at the cubs and relaxed hoping against hope that everything will be alright
please hurry Nala our lives depend on the help to escape Kumari's tyrantal rule Scar whispered to himself while looking at the night sky from where he was laying
meanwhile in the jungle
Timon and Pumba were wondering through the jungle singing the lion sleeps tonight while Simba Akeen and Tami were off doing their own thing unaware of what was about to happen Pumba had wondered off stalking blue Beatle when suddenly a lioness came charging for him causing Pumba to scream and run to which Simba Akeen and Tami heard and came running to see what was going on when they got to where Timon and Pumba were the lioness was about to pounce on them causing Simba to jump in and fight the lioness after a few minutes the lioness had Simba pined on his back to which Akeen realized what was going on as did Simba
Nala? Simba asked causing the lioness to back up in shock
is it really you? Akeen added
who are you two? the lioness asked
it's me Simba Simba said
and it's me Akeen Akeen added
Simba? Akeen? Nala asked trying to take it all in
yeah it's us Akeen said
once Nala was able to confirm what was in front of her she became overjoyed as so did Simba and Akeen Nala was relieved she had finally found them after all these years and she almost didn't recognize Akeen he was no longer the 5 year old she last saw he was 6'0 foot tall boy with short jet black hair and blue eyes he was now 15 years old Nala knew Scar would be so happy to see him and be very proud of what he became Tami cleared her throat as Timon marched over towards them
hey what's going on here? Timon asked
what are you doing here? Simba and Akeen asked curiosity
"what do you two mean what am'I doing here? "what you two doing here? Nala replied
HEY WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?! Timon shouted standing between Simba and Nala's feet
Timon this Nala she's our best friend Simba replied
friend?! Timon said
friend really? Tami asked surprised
yeah hey Pumba come over here Akeen said
huh? Pumba asked before walking over to them
Nala this is Pumba Pumba Nala Simba introduced

how do you do... woe woe timeout let me get this straight you two know her she knows you two but she wants to eat him Timon said pointing to Pumba "and everybody's okay with this? DID I MISS SOMETHING?! Timon added
relax Timon Simba and Akeen said
what until everyone finds a you two have been here all this time "and your mother and Akeen your father what will they think? Nala said
they don't have to know nobody has to know Akeen said
well of course they do everyone thinks you're dead Nala pointed out
they do? Smba and Akeen asked at the same time
yeah Kumari told us about the stampede Nala replied
He did? well what else did he tell you? Simba asked
what else matters is that you two are alive and that means Simba you're the king Nala said
king? lady have you got your lions crossed Timon said leaning against Simba's leg
king? your majesty I gravel at your feet Pumba said before kissing Simba's paw
stop it Simba replied pulling his paw away
it's not gravel grovel and don't he's not the king "are you? Timon said
no Simba answered
Simba?! Nala said surprised
no I'm not the king maybe I was gonna be but... that was a long time ago Simba said
Akeen remembered that Simba was going to be the future king he remembered the song they sang before venturing to the elephant graveyard Akeen thought about those memories for a moment before snapping out of his thoughts and coming back to reality Tami noticed and looked over to him checking making sure he was alright
let me get this straight you were a king and you never told us? Timon asked trying to make sense of it all
look Akeen and I are still the same guys Simba replied
but with power Timon added
could you guys excuse us for a few minutes? Nala asked poiletly looking down at Timon
hey whatever she has to say she could say it in front of us "right Simba and Akeen? Timon asked
um? Akeen began
um maybe you guys better go Simba replied gently
it starts you think you know a guy Timon replied grudgingly while walking away with Pumba behind him
Timon and Pumba you'll learn to love them Simba said looking over at Nala and noticing that she seemed to be happy
what? what is it? Akeen asked
it's like you two are back from the dead you two don't know how much this will mean to everyone or what it means to me Nala replied looking at them
hey everything's going to be okay Simba said
I've really missed you two Nala
we've missed you to Simba said

Akeen went off to check on Tami while Simba and Nala did there own thing after awhile Simba and Nala met up with Akeen and Tami Nala got to know Tami a little bit better the 4 of them decided to go for a walk with each other Akeen had so many questions running through his head he wanted to know how his adopted father was and everything but he was still unsure about going back to Pride Lands he didn't know what to do or anything
isn't this a great place? Akeen heard Simba asked
it is beautiful but I don't understand something. you two been alive all this time "why didn't you two come back to Pride Rock? Nala replied
well...we just needed to get out on our own live our own lives Simba said laying in hammock
and we did and it's great Akeen added
we've really needed you guys at home Nala said calming
no one needs us Simba replied coldly making Akeen wince
yes we do Simba you're the king Nala replied getting desperate
Nala we've been through this I'm not the king Kumari is Simba
Simba Akeen he let the hyenas take over the Pride Lands Nala told them bluntly
what? Akeen and Simba asked the same time
everything's destroyed there's no food no water Simba if you and Akeen don't do something soon everyone will starve Nala said
we can't go back Simba said looking away from Nala
why!? Nala asked almost shouting
you wouldn't understand Simba said
what wouldn't I understand!? Nala asked yelling
no no no it doesn't matter Hakuma Matata Simba said
what? Nala asked confused
Hakuma Matata it's something Akeen and I learned out here. look sometimes bad things happen...Simba began
Simba!? Nala said
and there's nothing you can do about it "so why worry? simba finished sounding irritated
because it's your responsibility Nala said
well what about you? you left! Akeen said
I left to find help and I found you two don't you two understand you're our only hope Nala said with hurt in her voice
sorry Simba replied irritability
what's happened to you two you're not the Simba or Akeen that I remembered Nala shocked
you're right we're not "now are you satisfied? simba asked glaring at Nala
no just disappointed Nala answered simply and plainly

good at least one of us does Nala replied coldly
Simba froze before turning to Nala angrily glaring at her and everything Akeen sighed softly and shook his head not knowing what to do or say or anything he wanted to go back but he was still unsure about it he missed Scar a lot but he knew that Simba wouldn't go back plus "what about Tami? he couldn't leave behind he was sure Scar would have liked her he would've treated Tami like his own daughter Akeen was so confused and conflicted about what was going on he watched as Simba and Nala argued
listen you think you can just show up and tell me and Akeen how to live our lives you don't even know what we've been through! Simba replied angrily
I would if you would just tell me Nala replied
forget it! Simba yelled
fine! Nala replied looking very hurt
Simba and Akeen left Nala alone Akeen sat down in the grass when they were alone while Simba paced back and forth it reminded Akeen how Scar was when he was upset or scared it was a beautiful night the stars were out and it reminded Akeen of when Scar told him about the great kings of the past Akeen looked up at the sky with tears in his eyes he was trying to fight the urge to cry he missed Scar very very very much he shook his head as he watched Simba paced back and forth
she's wrong we can't go back "what would it prove anyway?it won't charge anything you can't change the past Simba said
YOU SAID YOU WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE FOR US! Akeen shouted but you're not and it's because of me it's my fault it's my fault
Simba looked over at Akeen surprised by his outburst then went over to try and comfort him as they were trying to comfort each other they heard something they look up and see a monkey in the tree Simba glared at the monkey as he and Akeen left Simba laid down on a log while Akeen sat on it they were looking down at their reflections in the water when the monkey showed up again Akeen can hear this monkey chant something he had a feeling he had seen this monkey before but he couldn't pin point where
come on. will you cut it out? Simba asked annoyed
can't cut it out it'll grow right back the monkey laughed
creepy little monkey Akeen muttered
creepy little monkey. will you stop following us? "who are you? Simba asked
