Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Sorcerers and Soulmates. Enjoy the 5000-word chapter. I don't own LWA, Yoh Yoshinari, and a few others do.
Diana pulled from Aayden to look out and over the forest out the moon-filled window. It had been a nice view, but it was fleeting. Fleeting is far easier than it should appear to have.
"Are you going to be, ok? We need to get to bed soon." Aayden stated to which Diana waved her hands toward him as she did so.
"I'm aware of that, yet what I'm not aware of is why we barely stopped dancing," Diana said as she pulled her feet back so he could sit beside her. "The moonlight is odd tonight, isn't it? There's so little of it tonight I almost wonder what is going on." Diana stated to which Aayden only rolled his eyes.
"We're at a magic school and the weirdest thing to you is the fact the moon looks a little weird?" Aayden asked as he glanced up at the Moon. "It does look a little weird, I guess. But I'm no moon expert so I can't tell you for sure that it's off." Aayden said while he rubbed at the bridge of his nose.
"What's going to happen then if something goes wrong with the moon, hmm? You're telling me you can fix it then?" Diana questioned with a wry smirk on her face.
"There are a lot more things to have to question, aren't there?" Diana stated to which Aayden hummed and shrugged back and forth at the time being.
She didn't know what was to happen when it was all over. This was too much for her to have to question what it should have been when it was all said and done.
She tapped her foot on the ground, too amused and too off-struck by such a thing when it came down to it. There was a lot more to have to handle for now. He didn't know what was to happen next, but he did know that these sorts of things seemed to work each other out properly. He didn't know what to expect from Diana.
"This place is odd when it comes down to it, isn't it?" Diana questioned to which Aayden shrugged and looked down at her.
"There's the spirit," Aayden said before she kicked at him, too amused by her antics when it comes down to it.
"What? It's true, you find this to be amusing like I do, it's why you keep trying stuff like it when push comes to shove. You know that as well as I do." Aayden stated before he sighed and shook his head.
There were a lot of things she would admit to, however. This wasn't one of them.
Yes, these sorts of things when it comes down to it. She didn't entirely know what was to be going on, but he was right at the end of the day. she enjoyed dancing with him when it came down to it. There was a sense of mirth in their dance that hadn't come to light for a bit. It had been so odd that both of them had been.
"Diana, what do you think the next step is going to be to have been? We both know we're going to be here for a few years and we already know when all of this is said and done." Diana stated to which she seemed to have prepared for now.
"We don't know when it comes down to it," Diana stated before she sighed before she tilted her head. "We aren't exactly ready for more training," Diana stated while she sighed and then tilted her head.
"And what's going to have to focus upon for now? I'm curious about what has been set up?" Diana questioned to which Aayden hummed.
"I don't know what to tell you," Aayden stated before he hummed and clicked his fingers on the glass, he shook his head before he hummed.
"Then you're a doofus," Diana stated before she questioned what to have focused on next. "I am going to get more and more classes lined up for now. if anything? I am going to assign you too much more classes with me." Diana stated before he shook his head.
"Ok. If, you are sure." Aayden stated before he shook his head.
"We don't know what is going to happen for now. They hadn't seemed to have to focus on such issues. I do think this will be an odd little thing for now." Diana added to which he had fallen far more silent than he should have dealt with for the time being.
He didn't even know anything that was going on mentally, there was a measure of peace when it came down to it. They had such an odd little measure of problems.
Aayden didn't even know what she'd do for now, how well this would have been for the time being which meant that he had something else.
Diana tapped her foot on the windowsill while stretching her other leg out towards Aayden who scooted to the side for a moment to let her foot pass. He cleared his throat, purely focused on what to do next. He was all too interested in what to have to say or do at the time. Aayden felt such problems had been bringing this down more and more.
"So, what happens when you're all done with this school?" Aayden asked as the woman put a finger to her lips. "Sorry, too personal a question for now. I don't know what will happen anytime soon and just felt like asking. I'm still very curious as to your intentions for now." Aayden stated before he hummed and looked around, too far removed from everything when it comes down to it.
"Not sure, classes don't begin yet and we don't know what to ask," Diana stated to which she frowned before she looked around the entire room as she did so. "I'm beginning to like your company, Aayden. You enjoy things like learning and you take this seriously. I'm still curious as to how this will end up. We do make a good team, however. We both need to keep training and prepare each other for the worst." Diana stated as Aayden hummed.
"Sure, I do like the sound of that. My dad talked a lot about having a partner or someone who can help me. He just wasn't aware of what training here would bring. My dad was never really good at rolling dice like that." Aayden stated to which he could only frown and look out into the moonlight.
Diana continued her tapping, keeping a rhythmic pattern when it came to these sorts of moves. Her life felt like a chess game with her as a pawn and her peers as pawns and bishops. She'd have to wait and see if they bore any real fruit for now. They hadn't at all seemed to be like that so she felt she owed them at least somewhat of an apology.
"I would be your partner, but we must set some ground rules," Diana said before she frowned. "I will set 3 or 4 and allow you the same if that is entirely ok," Diana added before she placed a finger under her lips.
She felt as if this measure was uncalled for her. Not purely because of such rules, but because she knew her parents. They were traditionalist people, ones who thrived on ensuring their way of life continued to have been a certain way. Diana said nothing about such practices as this ended with. Yes, he was honestly too unsure for now how it had happened, only that it did at the worst time and worst and worst of their problems.
She almost stepped on his foot, curious as to how it'd be, how it'd have been. It was all said and done at the end of the day and it was clear to her that if she hadn't pushed herself beyond all shadow of a doubt? It wasn't going to happen, she didn't at all want that to have happened and it was all too clear for now that if she didn't push herself for the time being? Well? People would end up dying and it'd all end up falling for now.
Perhaps it was just war and she didn't at all know for now when it came up for the time being. Such problems rarely existed without a fair point at the end of the day.
Still? it was clear such problems wouldn't at all come to it, these things rarely seemed to do much more to get a rise out of them, and all around them sooner or later, that was simply how the ball bounced.
Diana was amused more and more with the problems on the horizon, all of it was going to be something amusing. The more and more problems that would stand in the way? The more she was able to hone her skills properly, it was all the witch needed and it was all she'd need.
Their problems would not end anytime soon. It was clear more and more that whatever needed to be done could be properly fixed with enough time and effort. Perhaps the same could be said for the majority of the school, yet? It was all over the place and yet it seemed to be worse and worse now. The problems in the opposite way would be worse and worse for everyone if she didn't take charge for now. it was worse and worse at the moment and it came down to it.
Diana saw little to no reason to be annoyed by it all. She didn't at all need to relax, for now, it wasn't going to be something they could simply beat down entirely. Diana wanted to thrive in the chaos of life for now.
"Are you going to be able to come down from the fear you have inside you? I do not need to tell you we have to relax and yet? It seems we were more and more of a dance to complete." Diana stated as she leaned her head on his shoulder.
She tried not to step on his legs or feet. Their dance told her every single little detail that needed to be said and done. It was clear more and more weight with their issues, for now, it was a lot more before now, it was all too clear for now just what needed to be done and dusted.
She smirked to herself as she let him twirl her around and dipped her down toward the ground. Their game would become more and more of an issue as she tried not to step on his legs and it became clearer and clearer, she found it.
It wasn't going to be easy, but she rather enjoyed a challenge of this magnitude for now. All of it was something was to be done and dusted and yet? It'd need to get it all done and dusted, she would make it so until the end of time and space.
"You enjoy dancing, don't you? it's interesting how often your moves tell me more and more about you when push comes to shove. I don't know how you're going to be as a student, but I will try and shove it down the pipeline." Diana stated before she sighed to herself.
Aayden fell silent, utterly baffled as to this, it was clear more and more of an interesting floating boat as of the time being. it was all too much for now, and perhaps down the road.
"Are you going to be, ok? We need to get going." Diana stated before she shook her head.
It was clear more and more such problems would need only as of the end of the problems… She danced, carefree, trying not to step on his limbs and she knew for something to have it come down to it.
She didn't step on his legs, eager to show her that she was well aware of the task ahead of her. It was clear that she knew that she was very graceful and as they danced, she knew that he had some talent buried within him, aching to get out, eager to be free from the confines of his skin.
This was a very… Odd feeling to experience but one that could easily be adapted upon, easily brought down like the limber of a tree. It became amusing to see him try not to crush her heels under her as of now, interested in what could come next and how well they could adapt.
"You've come here to learn a lot more than you've wanted, have you? There are a lot more issues we need to address, aren't there? I do not know if you've been through so much." Diana stated before she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.
"Don't know, I've gotten through a lot so much that it became part of me… Dad always wanted me to know as much as I could… Going through life getting the little stuff done properly." Diana stated before she looked to the side.
"I don't know what to tell you but I can tell you that I like being around you. There are more problems, and all of it becomes more and more important the more it grows." Diana said before sighing. "I will hold nothing back training you, I want you to know that. I will require you to allow me to relax and follow my instruction, that is all I can offer." Diana stated before she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.
There was a lot more to question at the end of the moment. They were all unwilling to try and end it sometime soon. These sorts of problems did not sort themselves out as she slowly stopped and looked around, focused upon issues that not even she seemed to grasp. Aayden sat next to her, curious as to how it may or may not go and what was expected of them.
Still? Aayden did not expect the lesson to learn as she tapped him with a hand, eager to try and learn something. Anything that may or may not help fix their future and fix it well.
"Hey, I'm here to learn to be fair… Can't learn anything if I'm not going to listen to my teacher to be fair." Diana heard from Aayden as she sighed and looked around, tired and confused more and more, eager more and more to have relaxed.
She'd see it crack and fall apart sooner or later given enough proper mending. They needed to be stronger and more at the end of the day. They had more to try and deal with for now… Much more than she was used to, utterly exhausted at the end of the day, unsure.
This needed to be something more than what had been done before, she knew more and more and more that something would be able to be relaxed at the time and being.
This became harder and harder to try and think of at the end of the day. Diana was going to be utterly focused more and more upon the future and she knew that he was ready to help her at the end of the road, of all roads.
"You know, dancing is fun but we are going to get yelled at sooner or later, sooner or later they will find us and it isn't like we can be sneaky all the time," Aayden said before he looked up at the sun, utterly baffled about it all and unsure of what to say and do about every single little thing.
It was clear to every single person around her that what happened next would be odd. She knew more than anything what was coming and what would become of all the school, still? Aayden had a point as she kicked upwards and leaned against the windowsill. The more they stuck around? The more the staff would probably stand a chance of finding them.
Still? She wanted a few more minutes to try and think, to reflect on what she'd need to do next. A powerful witch like her would still need help to try and leap through the hoops and she saw something of a kindred soul within him, one that wanted to help.
She allowed him to sit beside her, so close their knees brushed as the two gazed up at the moonlight again, unsure of what to do or even say. They had a lot more to try and deal with and more still upon the mind.
"If I may? Your family is very powerful, no? I don't recall what I've heard of them yet or what to expect from them but I don't recall if I've heard of them at the end of the day." Diana stated before Aayden hummed.
"Somewhat I believe, somewhat. They're powerful but I don't think they've been able to relax as much as you might think, I have a lot to try and do and all this is… Odd but it isn't slowing down my studies from everything and anything I need to do." Aayden stated before he hummed and slowly started to tap his legs on the ground.
Diana could only hum, unsure of what to say or do about such a thing but not at all thrown off by it. She trusted him to a degree and it wasn't as if he'd lie so simply for a nothing number of words. A fib on such a thing was sheerly childish and it aided NOTHING and nobody all at the same time… All it did was remind her that such things were beyond control. Hers or anyone else.
Diana looked down at the ground before finally falling all of it to be something else at the end of the day, all of it was just more and more for them.
They had a lot more to try and deal with at the end of the time. Yet? It seemed more and more likely to try and handle at the end of the day, utterly amused more than anything.
Still? So much more the better in her mind, the more she managed to find out meant the more she knew more, and more at the second. It was better knowing what was coming knowing what was going to slide into her path.
She wanted to dance one last time and then retire. She knew tomorrow wasn't going to be a big deal and yet more and more.
"We need to try and deal with this the best way we can manage," Diana said before she slowly started to think more and more at the moment.
"Can you do at least one thing before we manage to get to sleep?" Diana stated before she looked upwards with a look of mirth written all over her face. "It's just a small little thing and then we can retire. I'll not even tell the teachers you were out tonight… Partly because then I would need to confirm that I was ALSO out tonight." Diana said as Aayden hummed and looked to the side, amused more than anything.
It was clear more and more that they needed to relax, utterly worn down and utterly unsure. He nodded and looked over at her before he crossed his arms and looked down at the ground.
Diana gently took his hand before slowly pulling him toward the center of the room and seemed to look at him with a smirk before she put a hand on his shoulder.
"Dance with me one last time. I want to see what you are going to be like one last time at the moment, ok?" Aayden heard from Diana as both looked upwards into the ceiling.
He didn't at all know what to say but looked at her, curious about what to do next. He seemed to be more and more interested in the next move.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Aayden asked before he slowly started to sway back and forth. "I'm not even going to ask about the dancing, you know. It's a lot weirder to deal with than you think. All of it becomes odder you know. All of it becomes harder and harder but I'll deal with it the best way I can." Aayden stated before he frowned before he slowly looked out the window.
"Maybe I just like it when it comes down to it," Diana stated before he seemed to focus and looked down at the ground.
Still? He was all too much and so was she wanted more and more to focus on really focus upon it all at the end of the road, she looked around, cracking her fingers as she tapped her foot on the ground at the moment, too eager to do much of anything at the end of the day.
She had a lot more upon her mind to figure out, something that she could only begin to sink her teeth into with each passing second. This became a fact upon her mind that was all too eager to arise and swamp everything down to nothing once more.
Yes, whatever she knew? She knew more and more that she wouldn't have allowed it either damn way. She didn't at all know what to figure out when it came down to it now.
She didn't want to try and figure it out before as of now and she looked downwards at the ground before when it came down to such a thing and what little she could understand was simple… They had to grow, they had to dance, and she had to find out what her and his path would be and just what could get done at the end of the road.
This would be something that could and would become harder and harder still and still would continue to be championed even until death when all of them were able to perish upon such a goal.
It was an idea that was stuck within her head and something that she didn't at all want to let go of when push came to shove. All of it was something she could only pretend to try and deal with and odd all the same.
She hummed and swept him to the side by a few seconds, dipping backward as she knew more and more what to try and figure be understanding the end of what to do. She swept her legs back across the floor like a spider slowly yet surely crafting a web that the others would surely slide into given enough time to figure all such things out.
She was not at all curious as to what was coming and what was going on, nor would she attempt to do anything about it.
She danced freely, shifting from one leg to the other as if a spell had brought her to her knees and she was having trouble dealing with the sheer idea of something being of it all.
"Are you going to be, ok? You've been bent in half before." Diana heard as she snorted and looked down at the ground, utterly thrown off.
"Maybe I just enjoy relaxing and am unashamed by the need to dance," Diana said as Aayden hummed and stepped back for a second.
"To be fair? I do not know what you're doing, I'm just going through the motions, you know. It's all so easy to fall apart when you're doing that." Aayden said as Diana hummed and leaned on the window sill once more.
"Maybe, but I don't believe you at all and I hope you know that," Diana stated before she fell silent, all too eager to try and figure it all out at the moment.
She didn't even know what was going to relax once more as she seemed to understand what to do next before now and she seemed to manage to relax.
They had a lot more upon what to try and figure out, a lot more to need to do and so much could be fixed by it all. So much could be easily dealt with and yet? she didn't even know what the hell to do with all of life on her mind when it comes down to it.
She didn't at all know what to try and figure and out all of it seemed to be able to realize what to try and figure out for now. All of it seemed to be able to relax once more as she seemed to try and deal with it all.
The ideas coming through her head were unfathomable, truly maddening, and yet she didn't at all know what to say, to do, to deal with. She dealt with them the best she could as would anyone or anything on her path, it was a truly ideal experience as she felt it. However? All the paths had to end sometime and she knew it to be entirely true for now.
She looked at Aayden who had fallen silent, looking out at the moon with interest. She knew they'd be allowed a grace period tomorrow. Classes, scant as they were? Did not happen for another few weeks.
"You know that's a lot more to try and deal with, you know. I have a lot of details in our precious plan to try and deal with," Diana said before she tapped her foot on the ground before she seemed to sigh once more as she cracked her fingers.
"You know, we get our wands tomorrow. It will not allow us to use our magic perfectly but it will aid us a lot more than you could envision now." Diana said before she looked down at the ground before she looked at the ground.
She was able to relax, tapping her knees together as she and he looked outwards and into the nightmarish night, unsure of what to do next she rubbed at her temples once more and she was unable to think once more.
"Are you going to be all right? Because the end of our night is now and I feel like we won't be able to relax once again. I fear the time we have to deal with it will not be short enough to deal with every little mannerism and ideal upon which to deal with, for now, I fear we will not be able to do anything as of now." Diana said before she looked downwards at the ground.
Everything was going back into place slowly yet surely seemed to matter more and more unable to think for now and it could affect them all for now at the juncture they had been brought to… Would be gunning for now once more.
She and him slowly yet surely began the walk back toward their rooms, she knew more and more that if anything? She wouldn't regret the time to try and relax, emptying her mind of all such thoughts.
That and if she was right? They'd be allowed to sleep until noon, it was a LOT more interesting than one would consider for now, and yet she knew herself as well as she knew him for the time being.
"You know… There will be time enough to reflect on what is and what isn't. I'm almost impressed that you will be able to relax knowing what is coming… So much of it comes down to more whom you know than what you know." Diana said, setting her hands behind her back as she did so.
So much and so little at the same time seemed to mix more and more into it all.
Perhaps what needed to be done would come down to it sooner or later. She sighed to herself as she tapped her foot on the ground to some invisible melody. She was glad she wasn't alone in this tale as they approached their separate rooms. She felt she owed him something for being so willing to assist her.
"It all depends on what you do with the time you have and what you lose with the time you don't, there's a lot more to it all and yet you never notice it." Diana heard as she nodded at him.
"Indeed," Diana said before she turned her hand palm up towards him for the moment as she turned to look downwards at the moment. "I would appreciate you walking me to my room if you so please, good gentlemen," Diana stated before he hummed and grasped her hand, taking it in his own gently and then walking down the stairs with him following sooner or later.
They had a lot more to see and do before it all ended, something that continues to push one onwards as she hummed, gently gripping her hand as they descended a staircase further and further into the room.
Whatever came next would be odd… Very odd, totally unsure of what to see and do, she would see it to the end sooner or later and she could think of no proper way that it could be dealt with for now.
She felt each fall upon the ground, each little footfall bringing her possibly closer to her room for each little second. She didn't know him and he didn't at all understand her for the moment, it was worth a measure of mercy which she could not for the moment at all understand now.
It had a LOT more to try and figure out as of now. He didn't know what to see and do and yet all of it continued to try and figure everything out as of now when it came down to it how to carry it out for now
She sighed to herself once.
