Chapter 24
The Journey to the Psyche Multiverse

Where we last left-off, our eight heroes make their way towards the psyche multiverse on their X-70B Phantom-class stealth ship. They are traveling across galaxy to galaxy in order to find a tear in the fabric of reality that will lead them towards their destination. In the cockpit, Jeb and J.H. are making sure they are heading towards the right direction. However, boredom has set in for the two.

J.H. sighs, "Man, who knew that traveling through space would be boring."

"No kidding." Jeb agrees as he check any flaws with the life support system. "And we are WAY out of range for Netflix or Amazon. But at least we got some internet. Infinite range."

J.H. sits back for a few moments before asking, "How come we got internet but no Netflix or Amazon?"

"Don't ask me. Ask Tsuki. She's the one who set things up. Although, we should've made one of those multiversal travel devices from Family Guy or Rock & Morty."

"True that."

The two of them are relaxing in their chairs as they watch what looks like hyperspace from Star Wars as they just sit there in silence. But after a few moments, Jeb breaks the silence.

"Wanna watch something related to Star Wars?"

"Sure." he smiles, "What should we watch?"

In the cargo room; Jack, Muammar and Uma are filling it up with their own supplies such as food, medicine, water bottles, and a few items they might need for the long trip.

Jack fills one crate with some packaged food as he says, "So how long until we get there? I forgot to double check the navigations to see how long it will take."

"Two weeks." Muammar says as he place some water bottles in another crate. "So it will be a while."

Uma finishes filling up a medical crate, "At least we got plenty of supplies and some stuff to entertain us."

"But I do have one question."

"What is that?"

"Does anyone know how to get to the bathroom? Assuming there is a bathroom?"

Jack stops and thinks about it. "I think they call it, the 'refresher'. And...I have no idea where it is. I didn't see where it is on the interior cutaway of the phantom. To be honest, I never noticed bathrooms in video games unless it makes sense in certain areas. Like with stuff that take place in our world like in Dead Rising and Fallout." He scratches his head, "Although, I'm not sure how they do it in the Elder Scrolls."

Uma tries to figure it out, "Engine room, maybe?"

"Why would it be there?" Muammar asks. "I mean, for a bio-reactor, possibly. But this ship is powered by-"

"Hey!" Tsuki enters the cargo room. "Does anyone know where the bathroom is?"

In the medical bay, Liga and Jose are making sure the entire room is clean and ensure that there won't be any form of infections in the future. Jose is tuning some of the medical equipment while Liga checks on the medicines.

"There is a lot of Star Wars medicines here." Liga lists the medicines, "Topical ointment. Sleepwell pills. Antihistamine tablets. And what in the world is senoti sap?"

"Senoti is a tree from Endor and the sap is used as an analgesic that relieves fevers." Jose checks the bacta tank. "And I think I got this bacta tank figured out. Have to replace a few wires that seem to be a little messed up. Or I might be wrong but I'll do it all the same."

Liga then starts creating other medical supplies as she speaks, "Gonna need stuff like rad-x and radaway for radiation, some adrenaline for emergencies, some anathesia, and possibly lexorin for mental problems. Although I might need some health potions and disease cure potions in case we come across something beyond anything we know."

"Although I wish this place has a holodeck."

Three Days Later...

Everyone is in the main room as they watch a movie on the holoscreen. The movie they are watching together while eating popcorn is an old movie from 1933, the original King Kong. They are at the part where Kong and Ann come across a dinosaur. Almost all of them laugh at the stock motion effects of the t-rex.

"Oh god!" Jeb says as he laughs. "I can't believe what people thought off the t-rex back then!"

Uma isn't laughing, "Yeah, but the leading lady is annoying. I mean, she screams all the fucking time. I kinda prefer the 2005 Peter Jackson version. At least Ann doesn't scream all the damn time."

"Ah, the 1930's were a different decade." J.H. explains. "Unlike what we have today. Not to mention that they had segregation and a lot of poverty." He rubs the back of his head, "And it is a good thing segregation is over and have better civil rights today. Otherwise I, along with some of us, won't be here today."

Muammar asks, "Hey, uh, is there a movie where King Kong is in space? Because I do not wanna run into him if there is."

"No." Jack asks, "I mean, it would be impossible. Unless someone did something like that."

Everyone look at each other and realize that anything imaginable is now possible. So, they make sure that they won't encounter any Space Kongs.

Day 7

"I'm so bored." Jose says while in the main room and stops playing a more functional version of Cyberpunk 2077.

Jeb is sitting next to him, "No kidding. But I would like to try out those braindance things. Maybe we can have our own 3-D movies rather than just sitting here looking at things 2 dimensionaly."

"At least we have a project to keep our minds off of the boredom."

At the bridge, it is Tsuki and Uma's turn to keep an eye on things to make sure nothing terrible will get in the way. Tsuki is knitting a white sweater with a Hello Kitty icon on it just to pass time and to alleviate her boredom. Uma meditates on the captain's chair as she calms her mind to alleviate her own boredom. Tsuki is humming a tune while she knits which Uma has her left eye twitch a little.

She breaks out of her concentration, "Would you please stop humming?"

"Sorry, but I need to hum while I knit."

Uma is getting a little upset, "But I can't meditate as well when you're humming."

"Alright, alright. I'll stop humming."

In the crew quarters, J.H. is dong some push-ups while Jack is checking on a tablet to find any news on what is going on with his cousin and the UCE.

"9,998..." J.H. counts his push-ups, "...9,999...10,000! Whew!" He stands up and whip his head. "Yeah! Nothing like a good workout."

Jack is reading the headlines of 'The Daily Brag' as it reads, 'The New Confederacy Has Accepted Forty New Members'.

J.H. sits next to him, "Checking on your cousin?"

"Yeah, and his confederacy is working a lot better than I thought." Jack smiles, "Got forty new countries to join in. However..."

Jack scrolls down to show another headline that reads, 'Encounter With the Independence League'.

"Independence League? The hell is that?"

"Some other supranational union the confederacy has encountered." Jack makes sense of what is on the tablet, "Apparently, the Independence League is a neutral union that the confederacy made peace with and leaves it alone. However, there are some nations that are gonna act as neutral ground between the two and to encourage more trade. So far, things are going swimmingly. No news about the Grand Axis Alliance and the Great Workers' Unity yet." He turns the tablet off, "And things are alright for now."

J.H. gets off the bed, "Well, that's good news. But can I ask something?"

"Sure, like what?"

"Can you do something about your snoring? I'm pretty sure everyone can year it all the way back in the Milky Way."

"Yeah, I've been getting the same complaint from everyone else. I'm gonna learn about those devices that should stop me from snoring, but it will take some time. But you need to hit the showers, dude."

J.H. chuckles, "I know, I know. I'll wash up."

In the cargo hold, Muammar is working on some equipment that are from Halo 3. Things include bubble shields, portable gravity lifts, deployable covers and a few other things. He tinkers with them and learn more about the mechanisms while also learning about how to make them. Right now, it is just a hobby he is doing in his spare time. Liga, on the other hand, is painting some miniatures as a new hobby as well.

"Have you've seen my screwdriver?" Muammar asks, "I could've swore I had it here a moment ago."

Liga points with her brush, "I saw it go under the blue cargo crate when I was getting some paint."

"Thanks."

Day 10...

It is now Muammer and J.H.'s turn in the cockpit as Muammar fell asleep while J.H. is doing push-ups close to the door. There is a movie playing on the hologram and it is, ironically, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strike Back. Theatrical version. There is an old VCR player connected to the hologram projector that is playing the original version of the first Star Wars trilogy. It is at the point where Han gets tortured for information as his screams can be heard with Lando and Boba Fett are outside the room where it is happening.

"9,780..." J.H. is counting, "9,781...9,782...9,783..."

In the cargo hold, Liga just finished making a diorama of the Battle of Helm's Deep from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers with miniatures and it great detail.

"Phew!" Liga finished and wipes her head. "Can't believe I finally finished."

Jack is checking in one of the crates along with Tsuki to make sure everything is accounted for. Jack and Tsuki nearly touched hands which Tsuki shyly withdraw as her face is deep red. So she checks on another crate.

"You okay, Tsuki?" Jack asks.

"I'm good!" Tsuki replies while facing away from Jack.

Liga watched what happened.

She sighs and whispers to herself, "After all these years, how come you two haven't started dating?"

Jack looks at Liga, "Did you say something?"

Liga replies, "I said; I'm finished with my miniature diorama!"

Jack takes a look at the set she made and is impressed.

"Holy crap, Liga! That is awesome!"

Tsuki sighs in relief yet also disappointed.

In the main hold, Jeb and Jose are using their newly built braindance devices to test out if they work well and done exactly what they were intended to do. As for what they are watching, best left unknown. Uma is reading on her tablet yet is bothered by Jeb and Jose having perverted smiles and drooling a little. She finds it disturbing. She decides to head towards the living quarters to continue her reading.

Day 11...

Everyone is asleep with Jack now calling dibs in the captain's quarters which everyone takes turn sleeping on the luxurious bed. He is using the anti-snoring device J.H. says he should try. The others are in the crew quarters as they are trying to sleep. However, alarms started to blaring that woke everyone up.

"THE FUCK! *bang* OW!" J.H. got up but bang his head.

"We must be approaching something!" Jeb gets out of bed.

Everyone made their way to the cockpit as Jack is at the helm.

"What is going on?!" Uma asks as everyone takes position.

"Entering out of, whatever space we are traveling in."

The ship came out of the hyperspace-like realm and entered into an edge of an unknown galaxy. There is something in front of them. Something big. Most of them look at what they see in total awe.

"No way." Muammar says with his eyes wide open.

Tsuki is just as shocked, "Watashi wa sore o kitai shite imasendeshita."
Translation: "I was not expecting that."

Uma says, "That doesn't seem physically possible."

But Jack is a bit angry, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!"

They see King Kong. Floating in the vacuum of space. Still alive and looking down at them.

"SPACE KONG!? WHAT THE FUCK?!"

J.H. has his hands up, "I have nothing to do with that, I swear!"

Before they do anything, the Space Kong slowly raises its left fist before attempting to clobber the ship.

"SHIT!" J.H. took the controls and fly past it.

"Too close!" Liga says in a panic.

Yet the eyes of the Space Kong started to glow red and fires lasers at the ship.

"THAT THING HAS HEAT VISION!?" Jose is now scared, "WHY DOES IT HAVE HEAT VISION!? IS THAT THING PART KRYPTONIAN!?"

It hit at the ship and rocked it and caused some of the lights to flicker.

Jack points out the window, "HEAD TOWARDS THE PLANET! Maybe we can lose it there!"

Tsuki does some scanning and learned that there is a starship engine in its...ass. It as an engine/thruster in its asshole.

"Uh, everyone. That thing has a starship engine thing in its ass."

Everyone is a little lost for words and finds it completely awkward.

Jack shakes it off, "Just get to the planet and hope we lose it!"

They all head towards the desert planet and hope to avoid the space traveling King Kong and to get back where they were going. And the chase is to be continued in the next chapter.

AN: Hey everyone. Hope you enjoy the new chapter. As for me, I suffered from COVID on Christmas, my grandmother passed away, and I couldn't finished making the first volume of my own isekai light novel because of everything that has happened. So, when summer approaches, I'm gonna go camping with my mom and dad because they almost got enough to buy some land and get their own homestead. They are getting some experience from the trailer that we had for years with some modifications. So I'm gonna add in how much I got and getting a new house close to theirs. But can't decide if we're gonna get land in Colorado or Montana so we're going to campsites for two summers to see which state is good to be in. Also, please check out my creatocalypse wiki since it is semi-canon to this series. I need some support for all the bullshit that is happening right now. And I'm sorry to say this, but I can't go to Maryland because I couldn't afford a plane ticket so her memorial service will be shown on Skype on April before going camping and her ashes are taken to Paris.
