Chapter 3: The Breakfast Club
Asagi was in bed in her new room asleep. The night before Peter helped the Taimanin pick out their new rooms after eating. As she slept, Asagi's mind was taken somewhere else.
She saw a large lake while also standing on skulls. She then heard a voice speaking to her.
"That human is weak. He seems like someone who could easily be used".
Asagi saw the figure sitting on a hill of skulls.
"That human seems stronger than you think", Asagi said.
"I beg to differ. If he doesn't have demon blood, he's useless to us".
"I won't argue with you but I also won't let you insult him", Asagi said back in irritation.
"Suit yourself. When the time comes, you'll need my power".
"I'll think about it", Asagi said.
Soon enough the figure turned to Asagi with a devious smile before sniffing the air.
"What is that smell? It smells pretty good".
Asagi turned her head and smelled it as well.
Asagi opened her eyes slowly and sat up. As she got up to exit her room, she opened her door to see Sakura, Yukikaze, Rinko, and Murasaki already up.
"You all are already up. What's going on?" Asagi asked.
"Don't know", Murasaki said.
"We just woke up smelling something good", Yukikaze said.
"I say we go and check out where it's coming from", Sakura said. Everyone nodded and began to head to where the smell originated from.
The women arrived in the kitchen and were greeted with a strange sight. One thing they would've never imagined they would see.
They Peter cooking breakfast.
Peter opened the oven and placed a large batch of Wheat Cakes of the table. He wiped his head as he looked over the table to see what he had made.
"You've outdone yourself this time Peter", Peter said to himself.
The Taimanin saw the table and all of the food he made. Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, French Toast, lots of Wheat Cakes, and Grits were on the table and neatly placed in the center of the table. Immediately, Rinko walked into the kitchen getting Peter's attention.
"Oh hey, good morning", Peter greeted her with a smile.
"Good morning, you made all of this?" Rinko asked as the other Taimanin walked in the kitchen.
"Yep, I learned from the best on how to cook", Peter said with a smile. "I cooked it all for everyone to enjoy. After that, we need to talk about what our next move is going to be".
"You're right", Asagi said as she and the other Taimanin sat at the table.
Everyone filled their plates with food with only Peter beginning to eat. The Taimanin slowly took a bite of the food on their plates.
After tasting the food, their eyes shot opened before...
CHOW! CHOW! CHOW! CHOW! CHOW!
The Taimanin began to mow down their food until all of their plates were clean. They were all breathing heavily as they finished eating.
"What did you do to us?" Murasaki asked.
"I just cooked it for you to enjoy", Peter said with a smile.
"Wait you can cook this good?!" Yukikaze asked incredulously. She shared the same look as as the other Taimanin.
"I officially hate you", Yukikaze said with a pout.
"What? Why?" Peter asked in confusion.
"Because you can cook better than me! That's not fair!" Yukikaze said with a glare.
Peter tried his hardest not to burst out laughing.
"Well sorry but I was taught by my aunt to cook good", Peter said while trying to stifle his laugh.
"Rinko-nee, you have competition", Yukikaze said as she drunk some water.
"You can cook too?" Peter asked in an excited tone.
"Yes, I can", Rinko answered.
"I have to say your cooking is on par with Shiranui's cooking", Sakura said with a smile.
"Shiranui?" Peter asked.
"My mother" Yukikaze said looking down.
Peter noticed that she was looking down and was about to ask about it when Asagi spoke.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Asagi asked.
"I wanted to talk about Nomad and it's forces as well as the inhabitants of my universe", Peter said. "I know about Ingrid but I don't know enough about her and that Oboro seems like someone you all know. What's the story on them?"
"Ingrid is a demon and a warrior called a Hell Knight. From what we know, Ingrid has stood by Edwin Black's side for years and always defended him", Murasaki said.
"She's also extremely skilled and dangerous. It's rumored that she defeated a dragon in her home dimension and used it's power for herself", Sakura said.
"Interesting", Peter commented.
"As for Oboro, she's a former Taimanin who betrayed us all", Asagi said. "We originally thought she died but she later reappeared working for Edwin Black. She is extremely skilled in assassination techniques so we'll have to be careful".
"I take it you two were close?" Peter asked.
"She was best friend", Asagi said looking to her right. "Was being the key word".
"What Edwin Black himself? What is his skills?" Peter inquired.
"We don't know", Sakura answered.
"We have been looking for ways to stop him for years but we have no idea about his powers aside from teleportation", Murasaki said.
"Any feats I should about though?" Peter asked.
"He was able to massacre an entire clan without breaking a sweat", Asagi said. "From what we know, he didn't lay a finger on the and still killed them. More importantly, they couldn't attack him as if something was preventing them from attacking him".
"He's probably using an invisible barrier to suppress attacks and using an unseen ability to slay his enemies", Peter said as he thought about it.
"He's extremely dangerous so unless you have a death wish, we need a plan to stop him instead of challenging him to a fight", Rinko said.
Peter nodded at that suggestion.
"Are there any other allies they might have?" Peter asked.
All of the Taimanin looked at him with a serious look.
"Only one", they all said in unison.
"And we hope you never have to meet her. Ever", Asagi said. "Her name is Astaroth, Queen of the Inferno. She's an Inferno Demon and she's extremely dangerous. She is not someone you can beat easily".
"I'll take this to heart", Peter said.
"Good cause I doubt your world has beings that dangerous", Murasaki said.
"That's where you're wrong", Peter corrected. "We have a lot of dangerous beings in this universe. Omega and Alpha Level Mutants, people who can into rage monsters, aliens, magic users that can warp reality, Gods, and cosmic beings, we've got them all".
The Taimanin looked at Peter with wide eyes.
"Are you for real?" Rinko asked.
"Oh yeah, we have it all here", Peter said.
"I need proof", Yukikaze said with serious look.
"I'll get you all the proof you want but we have something else to discuss", Peter said. "If you all are going be on this Earth, you all will definitely need supplies like money".
The Taimanin didn't think about that.
"You all will need SSN's and ID's as well as birth certificates", Peter said. "Luckily for you all, I have friend in high places".
The Taimanin were confused by this.
"I was able to contact a friend of mine and he agreed to help you all", Peter said. "In a few hours, he'll bring a device that will help you all get what you need".
Nomad
Norman Osborn walked into the building of Nomad and was met by the gray hared man. Norman smiled as he approached him.
"Edwin Black, it has been a while", Norman said. "How have you been?"
The man revealed as Edwin Black was not amused.
"Stop the nonsense Norman. I invited you here for one reason: Spider-Man", Edwin Black said.
"What did he do to you?" Norman asked.
"Nothing... yet. I called you because you have the most experience with dealing with him. I need you to deal with him", Edwin Black said.
"Fine I'll see what I can do. Before I get started with that, I have a request", Norman said.
"And what would that be?" Edwin Black asked.
Parker Mansion
It has been three hours and Asagi was outside on the roof alone thinking about recent events. Her home was destroyed, she's on another Earth, and the other Taimanin are somewhere around New York.
Asagi looked down thinking of everyone in her life that meant something to her. Her mother, her father, her best friend, and her previous lover.
These are the same people she lost as well. She just hopes that someone else she knows hasn't perished as well.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
Asagi looked to see Peter walk up to her.
"I come up here to think as well. Looks like we have a few things in common", Peter joked.
Asagi smiled a bit.
"It's just a lot. Back where I'm from, we dealt with demons that tried to make us sex slaves, people we believe are on our side betraying us for power, and monsters trying to abuse the innocent. It's hard to believe that on another Earth, there are even greater dangers", Asagi said.
"I understand the feeling. It's like the world is going crazy with how much destruction and chaos there is", Peter said.
"Not only that but there also the people I've lost as well", Asagi said. "Have you lost someone important to you too?"
Peter looked down with a saddened expression. "I do. I lost my Uncle Ben, my girlfriend Gwen Stacy, her father, my... I've lost a lot of people", Peter admitted.
"What do you do to stay positive?" Asagi asked.
Peter smiles as he stands next to her.
"I remember the people that are still here with you and you move forward. It will always hurt but after a while that pain will go away. Just know that if you need help, I'm here for you", Peter said.
"Thank you", Asagi said with a smile.
Soon after, Sakura, Yukikaze, Rinko, and Murasaki appeared.
"What's going on here?" Mu asked.
"Just talking about something personal", Peter said. "Nothing weird happened".
"Suuuure", Yukikaze said skeptically. "By the way, that machine is here".
Peter and the Taimanin went to the living room and saw the machine and turned it on. The screen lit up with the image of a black man wearing an eye patch appearing.
"Taimanin, this is Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. I am sending you this machine to help you out. Just so you know S.H.I.E.L.D. already knows of your existence so try to to being to much attention to yourselves", Fury said.
"Wait what?" Yukikaze asked in shock.
"Yeah, S.H.I.E.L.D probably already knows about you all", Peter said.
"I have no idea what you plan to do while you're on our Earth but I hope you can help others. Don't do anything too crazy. Good luck".
"Can we trust that guy?" Murasaki asked.
"Hard to answer that. He can be hard to deal with but he does help when you need him the most", Peter said.
"Great, so what's the plan? Obviously finding our friends is one thing but what about Nomad?", Yukikaze asked.
"We'll have to bide our time. Let's focus on finding our fellow Taimanin first. After that, we'll deal with Edwin Black", Asagi said.
"You can use my mansion as a base of operations until then", Peter said.
"We appreciate that Mr. Parker", Rinko said with a small smile. The other Taimanin shared the same sentiment.
"It's no problem at all. Also, call me Peter", Peter said.
Ravencroft Institute
Inside the Ravencroft Institute, a figure appeared and opened the cell doors to several convicts. The convicts were the Scorpion, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, and Electro.
"Who bailed us out?" Electro asked.
"I did".
The villains looked to see Oboro standing there.
"Who the hell are you?" Scorpion asked.
"Someone who will help you take revenge on Spider-Man", Oboro said.
This shocked the villains and they all turned to her.
"We're listening", Mysterio said.
Next Time... our heroes team up for their first mission. Plus, Peter shows his skills in battle.
Also there will be a poll for a new Spider-Man/Taimanin story.
