Santana and Brittany are barely out of security when their moms have taken Ariel out of Brittany's arms.
"Look at how big you've gotten." Whitney says.
"She's so amazing." Gloria coos.
"Does it really surprise you." Brittany says wrapping her arm around her wife.
"We'll grab your bags and meet you at the car." Pierce says.
He and Mario head down to baggage claim. They know what their daughter's bags look like.
"Hey," Ashley says hugging her sister and Santana.
"At least someone is happy to see us." Santana grumbles.
"What did you expect." Ashely says giggling. "Mom and Gloria have been excited for weeks to see Ariel."
"Well, we're here for two weeks." Brittany tells her sister.
"I'm so excited." Ashley says.
"We have a glee thing to go to tomorrow, but after that we have no plans and will do whatever you want." Santana says.
"Awesome," Ashley says.
They make their way to the SUV, their moms still cooing over the baby. Their dads arrive, putting the luggage in the back.
"Okay, everyone in the car." Mario says.
Santana takes Ariel from her mom and sits down in the back. Ashley and Brittany sit next to Santana. Their moms take the back middle seats while Mario takes the passengers seat and Pierce drives.
"Don't take the highway back. There's an accident." Whitney orders her husband.
"Yes honey," Pierce says.
"Gloria does the same thing to me." Mario says.
"Men," Gloria says rolling her eyes.
Once their at the Pierce's, Gloria and Whitney whisk Ariel out of Santana's arms. Pierce and Mario grab the bags, leaving Brittany, Santana and Ashely standing next to the car.
"I want to hold her next." Pierce says following them.
"I guess we're left alone now." Ashely says.
"Is it that surprising." Brittany says.
The three of them laugh as they head inside.
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
"Go have fun." Gloria says.
"We've got her." Whitney says cuddling Ariel.
"We did raise you two." Mario says cooing at Ariel.
"Don't worry," Pierce says.
The four of them know that their daughters will try to argue against going and leaving Ariel.
"But-"
"San, they made a great argument. Let's go before they decide to kick us out." Brittany says.
"Bye," the both say.
"Don't leave me!" Ashely shouts.
"Ashely, knock that off." Whitney says.
Brittany and Santana take the Pierce's car to the school where they are meeting the rest of the glee club. Santana is actually excited about this, though she'll never admit it. Brittany can't wait to see everyone again. It's been a while since they all met up.
"I'm excited to see everyone." Brittany says parking.
"Of course, you are. I don't want to see them." Santana grumbles, smiling.
"Well, maybe tell your face that." Brittany says giggling.
"Shut up," Santana says lightly pushing her.
Brittany laughs as they head in. Just like when they were in high school. They are the last to arrive.
"Finally, we thought you might not be coming." Rachel says when they walk in.
"Shut it hobbit," Santana says allowing Brittany to pull her up to their spot.
"So, nice to have you here San." Quinn says.
"Satan has arrived." Puck says ducking as Quinn tries to whack him on the back of the head.
"I can't wait to catch up." Mercedes says.
"Preach," Artie agrees.
"Mr. Shue, do you have any ideas on how we can all catch up?" Rachel asks.
Before Mr. Shue can reply, Sue comes in.
"I thought I smelled a bunch of losers." Sue says.
"Sue, why are you here?" Mr. Shue asks.
"I'm here to make sure you all don't ruin anything." Sue says taking a seat far away from everyone.
"How about we go around and say what we are up to?" Tina suggests.
"Great idea, I'll go first." Kurt says.
"Blaine and myself are still going strong, thinking of having a baby of our own. I'm personally doing well, doing costumes for a Broadway show." Kurt says.
"And I've had several callbacks." Blaine adds.
"I've been coaching football here, going to school. It's nice to give back." Sam says.
"My album has sold really well and I'll be headed on another tour after the holidays." Mercedes says. "And I've just started dating someone."
Sue snorts, this group of losers are still pathic.
"Let me go next." Sugar loudly says. "I'm still dating Rory poo. Daddy gave us a huge house and I'm applying for all the cool reality shows."
"I'm with Sugar." Rory says all smiles. "She met my family."
He's not up to much. All he does is whatever Sugar wants to do. He really doesn't mind.
"God, you all are lame still." Sue says before Artie can go.
"Sue," Mr. Shue says.
"What Keebler Elf? I'm only telling the truth." Sue says.
"Does this mean you're going to leave?" Mr. Shue asks.
"Not a chance." Sue says.
Everyone rolls their eyes so used to Sue and her antics.
"My new computer company is looking promising. I think Apple or Microsoft might end up buying it. Still looking for miss right." Artie says.
"I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do now that I've graduated from Brown. Mike and myself are back together. We're having fun and will let you all know if we're getting very serious." Tina tells them.
Mike wraps his arm around her. "I've been offered a few more tours to dance with. I'm also looking into starting a dance school."
"Me and mama here," Puck says wrapping his arm around Quinn. "Are excited to be living in New York City."
"Really Puck," Quinn says slapping his arm. "I have a wonderful internship. We've been great and are thinking of having a baby."
There's a bunch of coos and awes at this.
"I can't wait," Santana says.
"Well, aren't you lucky." Kitty says. "As some of you bitches may know, I'm currently at UCLA kicking butt in pre-law."
Kitty was included along with Marley as they had both become close with the older glee clubbers.
"I'm at Julliard right now though I've been offered a record deal. I'm not going to take it until after I graduate though." Marley says.
"San and me are amazing. Are little girl Ariel is the light of our lives. I'm teaching at NYU while still working for MIT." Brittany says.
"I've gotten into Columbia law school that I'll be starting after Christmas." Santana says.
"I have yet another staring role on Broadway. Things have been great too." Rachel says happy to go last.
"God, you all are pathic expect for Blondie and Boarder Jumper." Sue grumbles. "I have to get away. I'll be outside so don't get any ideas." she says heading out.
"I like her." Sugar says.
"She's still Sue." Quinn says.
Mr. Shue, clears his throat, standing up and moving to the center of the room.
"You all seem to be doing well for yourselves. I'm so happy for each and everyone of you. You've all made me so grateful for being your teacher." he says. "Now, how about we sing some song for old times' sake."
"I have one," Rachel loudly says.
"I do too!" Sugar shouts.
"Shoot me now!" Santana groans.
They end up settling on a few songs to sing as a group. The last song they sing for the night is, The Parting Glass, Celtic Woman version that even Santana admits is a good way to end their get together. Rachel starts singing first.
'Of all the money that e'er I had'
All the girls join in.
'I spent it in good company'
Rachel sings the next line alone.
'And all the harm I've ever done.'
The girls all join in again.
'Alas it was to none but me.'
Rachel sings the next lien alone again.
'And all I've done for want of wit.'
All the girls sing the next few lines.
'To mem'ry now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be to you all."
Everyone sings the next few lines.
'So fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health wate'er befalls
And gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all.'
The boys take the next part with Blaine singing first.
'Of all the comrades that e'er I had.'
Puck sings the next line.
'They're sorry for my going away.'
Sam sings the next line.
'And all the sweethearts that e'er I had.'
Rory sings the next line.
'They'd wish me one more day to stay.'
Mike sings the next line.
'But since it fell unto my lot.'
Artie sings the next line.
'That I should rise and you should not.'
They all sing the next two lines.
'I gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all.'
Everyone sings.
'Fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate'er befalls
And gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all.'
Rachel and Blaine both sing.
'But since it fell unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all.'
Everyone sings.
'So fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whatever befalls
And gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Good night and joy be to you all.'
Mr. Shue claps once they finish. "And with that, this get together is over."
They slowly start leaving. Brittany and Santana both leave first. They want to get home as they are worried about Ariel. Santana hates leaving her even with their parents and Brittany feels the same. The pair rush in to see their family sitting there.
"How was she?" Santana asks.
"She was perfectly fine." Gloria says.
"We do know how to handle babies." Whitney says.
Pierce has a sleeping Ariel in his arms humming.
"I can't believe she's so calm." Brittany says knowing how much their daughter is like her wife.
"Are you kidding me?" Ashely says staring at her mom and Gloria.
They are both making stop motions that Ashely completely ignores.
"She cried a lot and wouldn't stop until dad picked her up. Also, she wouldn't take a bottle from anyone but him." she tells them.
"Your dad has a magic touch with babies." Whitney says.
