I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here Naegi is facing a problem as Lancer targeted him despite Archer's efforts to keep Lancer busy…but something unexpected happen here…as another servant appeared and came to Naegi's defense, setting up a new complication for our very own Luckster…

Back at the Naegi house, Naegi picked up a long pipe and uses it as a weapon, and somehow he was able to deflect the spear strikes and kept Lancer at bay, and the servant was quite impressed at seeing him putting up a challenge, yet wanting to end this he quickly disarmed him and asked if Naegi has any last words to say.
Naegi begged to be spared, but Lancer deny him and is ready to stab him again, but suddenly the boy's left hand began to glow, just as a circle lit up on the ground, where a woman in a blue, middle-aged dress and armor appeared, and her facial appearance showed that she is British.
The woman then saw the glowing mark on Naegi's left hand and deemed him as her master.
"You."
"…"
"You have that crest on your hand…"
"…"
"Are you my master?"
"…"
"If so…then you must be my master."
"…"
The woman turns out to be a servant and introduces herself as Saber, and tells Naegi that she will serve him and will be her partner in battle.
Naegi was awestruck and confused at the same time, as he wondered if Saber is another ghost like Lancer, who just materialized out of nowhere, and he could only watch as she confronted Lancer, who is equally surprised to see a fellow servant, and he slowly deduces that Naegi is a master, which baffled the younger boy and demanded to know what Lancer is implying.
Seeing that Naegi doesn't know anything, Lancer decided to kill Naegi so that Saber would have no master to direct her and he could kill her easily and make his job a whole lot easier.
"You."

"If that brat is your MASTER…"

"Then I ought to kill him now…"

About 10 minutes later, the scene shifts outside Naegi's house, where you can see Lancer narrowly escaping Saber's assault, and he is quite baffled, as he can tell that Saber is a sword-type servant yet she wielded what appeared to be an invisible sword-type weapon but he was able to sense it and uses his spear to deflect the blows yet he can tell that this servant is very strong.
As aside from being a knight, Saber is somewhat agile, moving at fast speed and can wield a rather large weapon even if it is invisible, and as Lancer attempted to find an opening and stab her, Saber was quick to respond and counterattack, and Lancer was quite surprised, yet he finds this rather pleasant that he get to fight something that piqued his interest.
"You. You really are a Saber-class…"
"…"
"You have a sword-type weapon your though I wonder why you made it invisible…"
"…"
"No comments…?"
"…"
"Fine, whatever…"
"…"
Their battle slowly led them away from Naegi's house and into the open street, where they fought for five minutes yet neither one is backing away and both servants appeared to be equally match and seemingly reached a quick stalemate, but after a brief resumption of the fight, and while irritated a bit at how Saber managed to deflect his attacks, Lancer was nevertheless pleased at the kind of battle he got, and he appeared to be satisfied by this outcome, as he now got to do, like eliminating what appeared to be a surprise master and a servant that appeared all of the sudden.
All he has to do now is kill both Naegi and Saber, and once he accomplish this task, he can hunt and meet with other servants and identify their masters so that he can mount a strategy and defeat them so that in the end he will be the sole winner and get his wish granted by winning the battle royal along with his master.
"Heh."
"…"
"You're not too bad…"
"…"
"But is that brat really your master…?"
"…"
"Well then…you two must die!"
"…"
His musing is interrupted when Archer appeared and is holding a bow whilst aiming an energy arrow at him before firing, but Lancer narrowly evaded it, yet he is slightly pleased to see that Archer is using his signature weapon that he is supposed to use earlier on.
"Whoa!"
"Damn…so close…"
"Finally…you decided to do what your servant-type does…using a bow and arrow!"
"Hpmh. Got a problem?"
"Sort of…since I'm having my hands full in having to deal with a Saber-type servant and then you…"
"What was that?"
"You heard me. Another servant showed up just now."
"What…?"
Archer wasn't amused, thinking that Lancer is trying to psyche him out and fired his arrows and tried to hit his target yet Lancer used his spear to spin and deflect the arrows, and the two servants moved back and forth using their speeds and in doing so, the energy projectiles struck several houses and killed and maimed many innocent people in the process.
While Lancer is enjoying the moment, he glanced at his side, and saw that Saber is approaching and is ready to jump in and join the fight, and this surprised Archer at seeing another servant approaching, and there Lancer smirked and tells Archer that this is what he meant when he said that Saber appeared out of nowhere and proved that he wasn't lying.
"See that?"
"Huh…? What the…?"
"That's what I'm talking about…a new servant has arrived!"
"Hpmh. This is a problem…"
"I can relate…since I'm having my hands full in having to deal with a Saber-type servant and then you…but then again…you don't mind, right?"
"What was that?"
"You heard me. Since another servant showed up just now, you're probably thinking that this is something you wanted to happen…"
"What…?"
As Archer was taken aback by this revelation, this somewhat left him open to a surprise attack, and Lancer sees this as a chance to land a fatal strike on Archer, but suddenly, after a few seconds, his mood suddenly changed as something compelled him to do a hasty retreat, and fled from the scene, causing Archer to get dismayed, yet he is relieved that Lancer didn't take advantage of the opening he briefly found.
After Archer confirmed that Lancer has fled the scene and opted not to go after him, and telepathically reported to Kirigiri what happened, and she tells him to pick her up and head home right away as she is worried about what comes after.
"Master."
"What happened?"
"Lancer got away."
"Did you manage to…?"
"He was gearing up…but something compelled him to retreat…"
"Compelled him to retreat…were you able to land him a blow or…"
"No…we're somewhat even for a while…but something unexpected happened…"
"Really…? What about…"
Their mental discussion was interrupted when Saber showed up and uses her invisible weapon to land a slash strike but Archer narrowly avoided it and is taken by surprise at this, as he didn't expect that Saber would be this quick, and wondered if another master appeared all of the sudden, unaware that Naegi is Saber's ACCIDENTAL master.
"Whoa!"
"Damn…so close…"
"A Saber-class servant…so annoying…"
"Got a problem with that…?"
"Sort of…since I'm having my hands full in having to deal with a Lancer-type servant and then you…"
"What was that?"
"You heard me. You're another servant that needs to be eliminated."
"Same here."
Archer moved away and tried to find a distance as he decided to try doing a long-ranged attack seeing how ferocious Saber is when attacking in close quarter, but she kept on coming and Archer realized that Saber is someone not to be taken lightly as she is like a knight, charging forward and take out an enemy through any means necessary.
Archer is forced to summon his bladed weapons and attempted to strike but Saber deflected the sword strikes with her weapon and is quite surprised to see that an Archer-type servant is using bladed weapons instead of a bow and arrow, wondering if he is a hybrid-type servant or not, yet she doesn't show signs of being intimidated.
"Got a problem? Just because I'm an archer-type doesn't mean I cannot use anything else."
"…anything is fine with me…"
"Oh…?"
"Regardless of whatever weapons you use, you are still an Archer-class servant, hence it makes no difference…"
"How complimenting…"
"What was that?"
"Whatever. Time to finish you off!"
"!"
As the two servants fought, Naegi followed and is surprised to see another servant, which was Archer, and there he saw someone else approaching, and he realized that it was his classmate, Kyoko Kirigiri, and she appeared calm and collected while overseeing the battle, and she gaze at Saber, as she mentally took notes about the Saber-class servant.
Saber momentarily pushed Archer back, and sensing that Kirigiri is a Master, Saber went towards her with the intent of taking her out, and realizing what Saber intend to do, Naegi rushed and stood in front of Saber, surprising her as she stopped her charge, and there Naegi asked Saber what is she doing, wanting to know why she suddenly targeting his classmate.
"Stop!"
"What are you doing?"
"I should be asking you that!"
"She's a master! Archer's master! She must be killed in order to defeat Archer!"
"She's my classmate!"
"…"
"I don't know what's going on here…but I don't want any innocent blood being spilled!"
"…"
Saber twitched her eyes as Naegi tells her not to attack Kirigiri, and when Archer resurfaces, Kirigiri tells him to stand down, and there Kirigiri tells Naegi that it appears that he too became the second person to get dragged into this mess, and the SHSL Luckster asked the SHSL Detective what she meant by that.
"Kirigiri-san…"
"…"
"Do you…know anything about this…?"
"…"
"What's going on here?"
"…"
"Please tell me!"
"…"

Hope you liked this chapter, and while it mostly featured a Lancer vs. Saber battle, a complication enters the fray…with Naegi narrowly managed to get Saber to stop when she attempted to kill Kirigiri…and now Naegi is asking Kirigiri what is going on here, as he has no idea on how and why this has happened…
