AC: I want to thank my Beta-reader for proof-reading this chapter and all the previous ones I forgot to mention.

Only one more part left before this story end. The sequel is already advance in its preparation.

Kaz watched Underworld city. He scratched the back of his head nervously. He knew he was back and Chaor greeted him. Still, he expected things to be back to normal. He was still a bit nervous that things might be different after everything they had been through.

"Hey Kaz!" H'earring told him as he approached him with a smile. He hadn't seen his friend for a long time, "I'm glad you're back! I thought I wouldn't see you again here after I heard you got coded!"

Of course, the creature wouldn't shed a single tear. It would be a sign of weakness. However, he was happy to see him again. As long as he didn't end up in trouble because of the boy.

"Yeah. I don't remember that part though," Kaz replied. He then marched toward the city.

H'earring closed his eyes for a few seconds and sighed, "Well I remember what I heard. You just jumped in front of Chaor and got killed. You saved our ruler, but you were gone," he clenched his hands, "I was there, but I only knew you died- got coded after the fight. I thought you escaped and you were safe. Even when Chaor used all of his power, I thought you were okay," he glanced at the boy, "Don't do that again!"

"I won't. I promise," the boy replied.

The subject was dropped once they reached the city.

Epilogue Part 5: Checking on our friends

Kaz glanced around from time to time. He watched the Underworlders in their day-to-day life. The citizens were loud and many seemed to be angry at something. He didn't try to understand what was going on. The Underworld was the Underworld after all.

"What's the matter Kaz?" H'earring asked.

The teenager looked at the creature, "Just a bit nervous. After everything, I'm not sure how it will be here."

"People argue about who wants to go to the Cothica, but very few things about you as the" he whispered the next word, "guide," before he raised his voice once again, "It's something Chaor didn't spread around," he concluded.

"Good. I don't want to get in trouble or just get caught up in whatever anyone would try to do."

"Rothar is in a sour mood. Thinking about what Chaor told him two months ago."

Kaz grinned, "Yeah. Chaor told him to stay away from my mom," his eyes shined a little and seemed intimidating, "Trying to just impress my mom like that."

The creature knew it was flirting and courting Cassandra. He didn't say it. His friend didn't want to hear or to think of those words. It was a bit funny in a way, but painful if mentioned. Still, he noticed that his anger showed a side that felt like Chaor, "Heard you were a true Underworlder when the M'arrillians attacked."

"Y-yeah. We were fighting to protect ourselves," he replied.

"Like a true warrior," the Underworlder chuckled. He asked, "Came here for a scan today? This one is on the house," he tapped his chest with his thumbs.

"I don't need a scan. I came here to see you and look around," he grinned, "Won't say no to a free scan."

"Khybon built something recently and he is really secretive about it. Except Chaor. He just finished and it is the perfect time to scan it."

"Let's go," the boy rushed forward.

"And don't leave me dealing with Khybon's wrath! He's still angry I made him do the biggest statue of Chaor," he rushed after him with a smile.

Sarah walked into Mount Pillar by the front entrance. Even now, it was still strange that the Danians just nodded and greeted her like a guest.

The teenager was still a bit weirded out she could just walk into Mount Pillar, but she was getting used to it. She searched for Wamma. It had been a while since she saw him. Last time was after they finished fixing Tom's grandparents' farm.

Since then, they haven't talked. Sarah hoped Wamma wouldn't just come at her and hug her as he cried in relief like when she was safe. The big red beetle was extremely protective when he wanted too. It was the first time she saw her friend pushed to his limit.

"Hi Sarah," a Danian greeted her.

She turned toward one of the guards on patrol and replied, "Hi there."

She made sure her scanner was in her pocket and didn't accidentally drop it. It would just be embarrassing if it happened. She also needed to remind herself of that. Two months without going to Perim and affected some of her Chaotic Player instinct.

"Sarah!" A loud voice joyfully yelled her name.

She recognized Wamma who came and hugged her. She grumbled. A bear hug was a bit too much. She also didn't feel the ground anymore.

"You're back!" He gasped when she pressed her knee against his stomach. He put her on the ground, "Sorry," he let out a nervous chuckle. He scratched the back of his skull, "I really really missed you."

"I know Wamma. I miss you too," she admitted. She then lightly hit his shoulder, "And don't come and hug me like that."

"Sorry. The moment the guards said they saw you; I came as fast as I could and-."

"Wamma!" they heard Odu-Bathax yelling. The blue Danian came and panted when he reached them, "H-how can you- run so- so fast?" He asked with a bit of confusion.

"Sarah is here."

"You ran away from training!" The Danian yelled at the soldier. He noticed the girl and looked around, "S-Sarah. Y-Your brother isn't here, right?"

"No," she chuckled at the creature who searched for her brother, "He left a big impression on you."

"He can't just touch any creatures like that! And why me?"

"Your abs," Sarah simply replied. She smirked when the other one looked at her with a bit of horror, "You are a strong Danian and he knows he can get a rise out of you." She could see what he thought those touches meant, "He has no feelings for you if this is what you are afraid of."

"Not afraid!" The creature defensively replied.

Wamma giggled. It wasn't long before the other one pulled his antenna.

"Do not laugh at me!" The creature bashfully replied. He coughed a few times as he recovered from the funny altercation, "Anyway, I let go of running away from your training," he let a small smile at Sarah, "Welcome back to Mount Pillar."

She smiled, "I missed coming here. Sneaking or not," she declared. She added, "And thank you for everything you did for me and my friends."

The big red Danian asked, "By the way. Are you and Tom really dating?"

The girl blushed as she clenched her hands, "Wamma. You can't just ask it like that."

Wamma laughed, "Congratulations Sarah!"

Odu-Bathax grumbled at how it would make so many things more complicated. He still remembered very well how the queen felt.

Peyton walked toward the castle. He was ready to meet with the king of Al-Mipedim. It had been a while. It took a while as he took his time to talk with every Mipedian he met on his way.

One that slowed him down a bit more was Tiaane, "Peyton. Finally back!" the Muge let out a smile, "We saw a few humans wandering around once again and knew you would show up eventually."

"Yeah. I was busy seeing my friends once again. Lulu was relieved to know we were okay and we had a lot of catching up to do bro," he fist bumped the creature. Something some Mipedians learned from the boy who did the same, however he held back.

Tiaane remembered when he heard about the first time one tried this on Peyton and ended up far away on the ground. It was hilarious to hear, but the teenage boy took a while to recover from that. He wished he could have been there to see it. Still, it was for the best. He wasn't there to laugh at him.

"What's up in Al-Mipedim? Still riding some dragons?" he asked.

The High Muge remembered that the portly boy knew about that secret. It was a while back after all. He nodded, "Not me. Still, it was public in Perim for a while. We couldn't hide this forever. Anyway, I'm sure you came to meet with Theb-Saar. Am I right?"

"Yup. Curious to see how it's going. Saw Iflar in Chaotic today."

"He is next in line for the throne and he has to get used to Chaotic and eventually the C-,"he decided to be mindful, "The Earth."

"Still not seeing any creatures around. Although, we heard about it," Peyton mentioned. He remembered at school as they were told about Perim and the creatures that would visit them from time to time. It was very strange to learn this at school, when he went to Perim so many times. He knew about the creatures, their powers, etc. Not everything, but more than the teacher, that was certain.

"It will take around a solan before everything is settled. Maybe a bit less," the lizard admitted as he scratched his chin, "Come," he matched towards the castle.

Peyton followed him, "Is there any trouble here?"

"Not really. We are also preparing ourselves for when we can visit your world. It is quite fascinating how different it is. Your cities are quite different and dreamlike. Those little switches that creates light in the dark of the night. Fascinating."

"Yeah."

"And how many civilians could ride transportations vehicles. There would have been so many battlegear around."

"It's just normal for us. Kaz knows how to drive a car. Tom is learning to date Sarah," he replied.

"Yes. That news made our king laugh," he chuckled as he gazed at the boy, "Anyway, I should let you go inside. He will be happy to see you," Tiaane said when they reached the castle.

"Thanks dude. See you later!" He waved at the Mipedian before he walked into the castle, saluting the guards.

Tom walked into the castle of Kiru city, searching for Maxxor. He hoped he wasn't busy elsewhere. He didn't have any problem entering the castle. He just nodded at the guards and entered.

A guard pointed him where Maxxor was and walked towards the library.

The teenager remembered when he saw his hero and Najarin as they studied the writing of the humans. It felt like it was such a long time ago, but it was only a few months. He entered the room and saw Maxxor reading a book. Still, he noticed a bit of a melancholy on the face of the creature.

"Maxxor," the boy smiled.

"Tom. I'm glad to see you," the Overworlder smiled. The melancholy didn't leave the eyes.

"Is everything alright?" Tom asked him.

Maxxor gazed at the side. He sighed, "Yes. I was thinking about Tangath Toborn."

"Tangath," the human looked at the floor. He didn't forget the creature was gone. He didn't have all the details, but maybe they wouldn't ever see him again, "It's been a while since he's gone."

"The M'arrillians took him from us. We lost a lot of soldiers during the war. We lost a few more in this one," he closed his eyes and sighed, "I hope this will be the last one."

"I hope so too," Tom let out a small smile.

"Is everything alright back in your world? I know you told Intress that you were fine and all, but I want to hear it from you," the green creature told him.

The boy smiled, "Everything is okay. My home is fine and I'm back to school. It's just that everything else is changing and I have no idea what future we have," his smile diminished, but it wasn't gone, "I'm also glad to be back here," his smile grew larger.

"Good," Maxxor sighed, "Tangath surely would have loved to see your world and help you protect it," he didn't speak about Tom's world as the Cothica. He knew their guide didn't like it, "And…nothing hurt you too much?"

The teenager guessed where it was going, "Not that much anymore. It's as Phelphor said. It was a war. Still, I killed a few creatures," he couldn't help, but remember. Still, he got support from his family. He didn't need a specialist, thankfully, "I know we had no choice and I chose that."

"I hope it will never come to that again. With Gal'drad in power and having his tribe under control, we can only guess it will be for the better."

"Yeah," he gazed at his hero, "What will happen to Phelphor now?"

Maxxor replied, "He will stay in jail for a while. Eventually, Gal'drad will bring him back to the Deep Ocean. I accepted. Phelphor put himself in danger to save your life and he told everything he could. We are giving the M'arrillians another chance. Phelphor will be given another one too. However, it will be the last one."

"Thanks, Maxxor."

"I believe they can do better Tom. It's the only reason."

"I believe it too."

The two went on with a more casual conversation, while talking a bit about Tangath Toborn.

AC: This is the end of this part. I guess there is only one part left I have in mind. After this, it will be completed. Even so, I might have a few more elements if more comes to my mind.

Next and maybe final part: Reaching Milla'iin.

Tom visited Milla'iin another time and talked with him.

As for the sequel: I have a clear idea of where I'll be going. I thought the idea I had at first was too limited and small, so I added something else.

He is a bit of a preview, a very limited one. The next part will give more detail.

A tribe that wants to punish the other five for entering the Cothica. The Elementarist shall kidnap.

A new tribe that wants to reach the Cothica. The Metalist shall claim the blessing of the Cothica.

The Metalist is from an idea that I eventually gave up. I don't want to waste it and decide to put it there an in another fanfic for another story.
