Prologue: Dawn of a New Age

Deep within a droid manufacturing and recycling factory, a group of workers worked tirelessly in operating the machines, watching as conveyer belts took piles of scrap and droid parts to be either melted down or put back together. It was a simple job with a lot of heat, but it payed a decent amount of credits, so the workers aren't complaining.

That wasn't the main focus, however; as what laid beneath the factory in an underground chamber was where the main business took place. Standing in the middle of this room was a man with a goatee and wearing a black suit with some grey armor over it. He held a smirk as he stood behind a table and placed a briefcase on top of it.

Standing before him was by all definitions a giant slug, more specifically, a member of the Hutt Clan, except this one was wearing a monocle over one of his eyes. With the Hutt was the standard group one would associated with a member of the notorious crime family, a group of mercenaries and bodyguards armed to the teeth. This group ranged from humans, to a couple Quarrens, some Rodians, even the standard Gamorrean Guards, and standing beside the large slug alien was a Protocol droid for translation.

The Hutt spoke up in his native tongue, which the Protocol droid translated for the man. "Carl Sands, the esteemed Gorga the Hutt, demands to know if you have the product as requested."

"Who am I to disappoint a member of the Hutt High Council." Sands said with an easy going smile. "I mean, has there ever been a job where I failed you?"

Gorga glared at Sands before responding, allowing the droid to translate. "Yes, you have. In fact, by all accounts, my guards should execute you right now." To emphasize that point, the Gamorrean guards stepped forward and brandished their axes, causing Sands to look just a tad worried. Gorga spoke again and was translated. "However, due to the quality of the product, we are willing to overlook it this one time."

"Well then, have I got the treat for you." Sands said with his smile returning, as he opened the case.

Inside were six glass containers, each one containing a small shard of a golden metal alloy. Gorga looked at the containers with awe, loving the quality in which he was seeing.

"Straight from one of Thanagar's mining colonies, six containers holding a fresh slab of Nth metal." Sands said as he grabbed one of the containers and flipped it, before catching it. "One of the very few elements that can go toe-to-toe with Beskar."

Gorga stroked his chin with a satisfied smile on his face, before speaking and having his protocol droid speaking. "The great and mighty Gorga the Hutt is pleased with this, and is willing to offer you one million credits for such a bounty."

"One million?" Sands said in an offended tone as he closed the briefcase. "Do you know how powerful this stuff is and what it can do? It's either five million credits, or I'm walking out of here."

Gorga glared as he gestured for his henchmen to raise their weapons, preventing him from leaving. Gorga spoke up again and had the droid translate for him. "It is either one million, or you will not leave here at all."

Sands gulped nervously as he glanced all around him, seeing no escape routes and all guns pointing on him. Seeing as how he had no other choice, he put back on his easy going smile and pushed the case forward. "I don't even know what I was thinking. One million was perfectly reasonable."

"We are glad you have seen it our way." The droid translated for Gorga as one of the bodyguards picked up the case.

Before any of them could leave, though, they all paused when they heard a clanging sound coming up from above the hidden room. Muffled screams echoed throughout above them, causing everyone down below to become on edge, and even Gorga had a feeling of uneasiness wash over him. More clanging sounds were heard, but they echoed much louder, meaning that whatever it was was getting closer.

Then, a loud bang was heard outside the door, followed by a large dent appearing on the sealed door from it. A couple more clanging and dents occurred, causing everyone in the room to back away in fear, before whatever it was suddenly stopped. One of the Gamorrean guards was either really brave, or really stupid, as he took a couple of cautious forward to the dented door.

That turned out to be an obvious mistake, as the door was soon knocked down and landed right on top of the Gamorrean guard. Everyone raised their weapons as they saw the intruder stepped into the room.

The intruder was a tall woman wearing a armored green and yellow top that cut just above her midriff, green tight pants with yellow stripes on the sides, red boots, and a bird-like helmet with feather protrusions on the side that covered half her face, but you could still see her eyes, and her flowing red hair down her back. The most distinguishable feature on her, however, was that fact that bird wings were protruding off her back, distinguishing her as a member of the Thanagarean race.

The woman smirked as she reached behind her and pulled out a golden mace. "Knock, knock." The woman said as she got in a fighting stance.

Gorga glared at her before he gave an order, which translated to 'kill her,' which all of his guards understood. They all flirted at the Thanagarean woman, but she just twirled her mace and deflected each of their shots, before charging at them.

She dashed in front of one mercenary and swung her mace upward, knocking his weapon out of his hand, before slugging him in the face. Another mercenary fired at her again, but she deflected each blaster bolt, before dashing forward and swung her mace at his head, knocking him into a wall. Her wings spread out as she used them to jump high, before landing back down and slammed her mace onto the ground, creating a shockwave that knocked a few more mercenaries to the ground.

A Gamorrean guard screeched as it brandished its axe and tried swinging it at her from behind, but a second golden mace came in and deflected the attacked. This revealed another Thanagarean, this time it was a man wearing a similar helmet, but this time with the feather protrusions being longer. He wore a golden strapped harness across his bare chest, green pants with gold armored leg pieces and boots, and golden armored gauntlets.

"Mind if I cut in?" The male Thanagarean said with a smirk, before he slugged the Gamorrean in the pig snout, knocking it out.

The male Thanagarean charged forward and swung his mace, knocking out a few more mercenaries in a single strike, before using his large wings to trip up a couple more, before slugging them in the faces while they were down. A Rodman brought out his rifle and tried shooting the Thanagarean warrior, but he never got the chance as the warrior charged forward and grabbed the rifle out of the mercenary's hand, and smacked him on the head with his own gun.

The female Thanagarean grinned as she used her mace to deflect an axe strike from a Gamorrean guard, before striking it with her mace. She deflected another shot from a Quarren with her mace and threw her weapon at the shooter, hitting him right in the head, before walking over and picking up her weapon.

Only two more human mercenaries were left for her, but they looked at each other nervously, wondering which one should make the first move. There never made the choice as the male Thanagarean came up behind them, and slammed both their heads against each other.

The two of them looked towards each other, with the female Thanagarean giving a light smirk with a hand on her hip. "Katar, you know I had those two." The woman said.

"I know, but I wouldn't want to rob you of retrieving the grand prize." Katar said as he gestured to the busted down door, where they could see Sands running frantically out the door and up the stairs.

The female Thanagarean smiled as she walked past Katar, but not before placing her hand on the side of his face. "You always know exactly what I like." She said lovingly, before tracing off after Sands.

Katar shook his head with a smile, before he gained a serious look as he looked at Gorga the Hutt and his protocol droid, who remained in place and had a nervous look on his face, now that they had no more protection. Katar just silently walked past them as he grabbed the briefcase, before turning to walk away, he stopped, however, and turned to glare at Gorga.

"Now you listen, and I'm only going to say this once." Katar said sternly as he then approached Gorga. "The Thanagarean ruling council may not want to risk open war with the Hutt family, but if we find any of you slugs near our Nth metal again, then the full might of our police force will come knocking on your door at Nal Hutta personally."

Gorga glared at Katar before speaking, allowing his protocol droid to translate. "Threatening the Hutt Council is an unwise move." The droid said.

"We don't make threats, we make promises." Katar said as he narrowed his eyes and held up his mace to the Hutt's face closely. "Now, do I make myself clear?"

Gorga glared at the Thanagarean, before he reluctantly nodded. Feeling satisfied, Katar left and walked out to search for his partner, seeing if she completed her task yet.

Speaking of, Sands was currently running as fast as his legs could take him, pushing people out of the way as he ran down a pathway. He was inwardly thinking on how Theo she bird-men could have found him; he thought he covered his tracks really well, but looks like that wasn't the case.

He continued to run, but he failed to notice that the female Thanagarean warrior was flying just above him, before it was too late. She swooped on down and grabbed Sands beneath his arms and lifted him up into the air effortlessly, before flying on back up.

"AH!" Sands screamed as he struggled to break lose from her grip. "Let me go!"

"Sure, so long as you don't mind the aftermath." The female Thanagarean said with a smirk. Sands' stopped struggling when he realized that she flew up so high, that if she did drop him then and there, he'd go splat. "Should've worded that differently, huh?" Seeing as he was finally caught, Sands stopped struggling and accepted his fate.

Not long after, Sands was in a ray-shielded holding cell on board of their Thanagarean ship, with the female warrior checking the controls and making sure the cell is in top shape.

"This is a mistake. I was framed!" Sands complained in his cell.

"Of course, be sure to contest your innocence when we reach Thanagar for you to face justice." The Thanagarian woman said sarcastically. After making sure that the holding cell functioned probably, she made her way to the bridge of the ship and seat in the copilot seat, waiting for Katar.

"Sheyera." She didn't have to wait long, as Katar walked in and sat in the pilot's seat, removing his helmet and revealing his face with brown black hair on his head. "You, my love, are still just as reckless as you were back when you were a rookie. Not all situations call for you to go bursting through doors and swinging your mace constantly."

"Oh, come on, don't tell me you didn't feel the rush when we took those punks out?" Sheyera said with a smirk as she removed her helmet to.

"Well, maybe a little." Katar said with a chuckle, one that was shared by not just his partner, but also his wife. "Still though, best to try to hold yourself back from doing anything too crazy for the time being."

Sheyera's face became serious before speaking to her husband. "Do your think the rest of those Hutt's will heed your warning?"

"I'm not sure, but I made it perfectly clear that if they try and retaliate against us, it could bring upon war with Thanagar and the crime families." Katar informed.

"If that were to happen, then the Republic would probably send in the Jedi, and that would complicate things for them even more." Shayera said with an inquisitive look. "Hutt's always say 'war is bad for business.'"

"Well, our business is done here." Katar said as he pressed a few buttons and the ship flew off pout of the port and into space. "We'll have to find a planet to refuel our hyperdrive. We don't have enough to lightspeed back to Thanagar."

"Why didn't we just refuel back there on that planet?" Shayera asked in confusion.

Katar looked at her with an expectant look. "I just threatened a member of the High Hutt Council with a possibility of war. I think we've overstayed our welcome there long enough."

"Fair enough." Shayera said in agreement, before she typed a few buttons on the controls, which then displayed a holographic image of the galaxy and their location. "Well, not many friendly planets that we can go to, or any ones that aren't controlled by the Hutts."

Katar hummed in thought as he glanced at the map, debating on where they could go to refuel. His eyes glanced at one planet, which made him smile in satisfaction. "Now here's a more welcoming world. Naboo is not that far from us."

"That could definitely work." Shayera said with a satisfied smile. "I hear it's a pretty nice planet. We could refuel and check out the sites."

"We'll have to inform them that we are holding a dangerous criminal and have them post guards while we refuel." Katar said as he punched in the coordinates. "All in all, after that one stop, we should be back at Thanagar in no time."

As soon as that was said, the ship soon zipped right into lightspeed, carrying the Thanagareans to their destination.

The forests of Kashyyk were lush, green, and so full of life as the sounds of wildlife were heard and echoed everywhere. The main focus, however, was that of the various houses and huts that were mainly attached high up in the tree tops, with various bridges in connecting each building and house. These homes belonged to the native species of this planet, the Wookiees.

However, there was one person who was not a Wookie, but instead a human man who looked to be in his late twenties to early thirties, walked across one of those bridges and into the largest hut, where a group of Wookiee's sat around in a circle. The man had blonde hair and dark brown eyes, were a red shirt with a black vest over it, grey pants and black boots.

He sat along with a Wookiees' inner circle and they shared some of their food with him. The man smiled as he looked at all the Wookiees present, knowing that despite their intimidating size and physique, and the warrior spirit, they really can be a friendly bunch. One just has to remember to stay on their good side if they want to keep their arms attached.

The festivities silenced as one last Wookie entered the large dining hut, this one had a few braids along his fur and armored silver shoulder pads. This one carried himself in a strong manner, showing that he was of higher standing than most other Wookiees.

The man stood up and gave a light humble bow to the large Wookie. "Chief Tarfful, thank you very much for allowing me to meet with you."

Tarfful gave out a light howl as he gestured for one of the Wookiees to bring him something, which turned out to be a translator speaker box for him to use, since the man couldn't understand their language. After picking up a microphone, Tarfful spoke into it, allowing the speaker box top translate for him. "You are welcome, Alan Scott, though I must warn you, your journey here will be met with disappointment."

Alan was confused by this statement, and wanted it to be more clarified. "I'm sorry, chief, but I don't understand."

Tarfful grunted as he reached out and picked up a large wooden plank and passed it to him. Alan looked confused, but then grew fascinated as he saw multiple carvings along the wooden plank, with each picture depicting a story. The first picture was of the planet itself with a meteor heading right for it, the second picture was of an individual with claws being burned by fire, and finally was a picture of a bird flying high in the air.

Tarfful spoke again, explaining the carvings. "One thousand years ago, our treasure crash landed on our planet, with a green glow that illuminated the night. Decades later, a Trandoshan came here in an attempt to kill the Chief during that time, but then our treasure burned him in a coat of green fire, saving his life. Not long after, our sacred Shyyyo Bird became sick with a disease that caused its mind to descend into madness, attacking everything in it's path, that is until our treasure shined a light upon it, and healed its mind."

"Incredible." Alan whispered in amazement.

"Ever since then, explorers and treasure hunters came to our world in search of possessing our treasure, but it found none of them worthy of its powers, and so we sent them away. Most of the time, the power they felt from our treasure became so intoxicating to them that they grew violent and they would try and take it by force." Tarfful continued.

"What happened to them?" Alan asked cautiously.

"They attacked, we retaliated." Tarfful said simply, before he continued the main subject. "We believe that our treasure was sent here for a reason, that only the most worthy are allowed to behold it's great power." Tarfful looked at Alan expectantly, wanting to judge his reactions from what he was about to say. "Why is it that you have come here, seeking our treasure?"

Alan glanced down with a forlorn look in his eyes, with hints of regret in them as well. He took a deep sigh, before looking up at Tarfful to answer. "I lost everything years ago, and my planet suffered along with me. When I heard rumors about this treasure and the power it possessed, I just had to see it for myself, to know if it was true and that if it could help me."

"Help you with what, exactly?" Tarfful asked.

"I want to make sure that nobody else in the galaxy has to suffer like the way I suffered." Alan said seriously. "I just got this feeling that a lot of people are going to get hurt in the future, and I just want to help them in any way I can."

Tarfful and the other Wookies looked at each other and spoke in their own language without the translator box, as to keep their conversation private. Alan grew a little nervous, as he hoped that they would be able to help him. The moment of truth came when Tarfful silenced them all and gave one last light roar and signaled for one of the other Wookies to leave.

"You are a good soul, Alan Scott, but it is not my place to judge you; it is our treasure's." Tarfful said before the Wookie that left came back in, but carried a large black box with him, before placing it center on the table. "Only it will decide if you are truly worthy of its great power."

Alan took a deep breath, before nodding at the Wookie chief and opening the black box on the table. Once it was fully opened, Alan's eyes widened when he saw a large lantern made out of a green material. The moment he laid eyes on it, Alan got this strange feeling, like he somehow understood how much power this one trinket possessed.

"I thought you said that a meteor crashed on your world." Alan noted, not taking his eyes off the lantern. "Why is it shaped like that?"

"When the Chief at the time found it, he heard a voice whisper into his ear, and told him to forge it into this particular shape. To this day, no one knows why it wanted to be carved into a lantern." Tarfful explained.

Alan nodded at that, before he unconsciously reached out towards the handle of the lantern, with all the Wookies leaning forward, wondering if this man will suffer the same fate as all those who came before. Much to their surprise, Alan was able to grasp onto the handle of the lantern and pull it forward towards him.

No sooner when he touched it, a green energy started to light up at the center of the lantern where the flames would be. Wisps of that same green energy started to exit the lantern and flow right into Alan's eyes, but he didn't react to it at all. The green glow from the lantern started to become brighter and brighter by the second, causing all of the Wookies to turn away from it's intensity, but Alan would not look away for even a moment.

The glow finally started to die, and Alan took a couple deep breaths as the green glow left his eyes. He looked up at the stunned looks the Wookies gave him, before addressing Tarfful. "I...I don't know what that was...but I think I know what to do."

"And what is it that you must do?" Tarfful asked curiously.

"Do you have a forge I can borrow?" Alan asked suddenly.

And so the Wookies took Alan and the lantern to one of their many forges where they fashion their melee weapons. They may use blasters, but that doesn't mean that they are laced when it comes to melee combat. A Wookie warrior should know how to kill an enemy up close just as well as they know how to kill one from a distance.

Alan was able to use their tools to carve off and extract small pieces from the lantern, before it created green fire that he used to melt the pieces down. Time passed and Alan was hammering away in the forge, wiping away some sweat from the constant work he was putting into his craft. Green embers flared every time he would slam his hammer down into object he was shaping.

The Wookies stayed out of his way, as this was his task to be given to him alone, plus they were curious as to what their treasure instructed him to do. All those that have came before, in seeking their treasure for power, have all either failed, gone mad, or both; but this was the first time their treasure has truly instructed an outsider to fulfill a task.

After hours of working, and night finally arriving, Tarfull and a gathering of Wookies stood outside the forge, as Alan just announced that he was finished. Tarfful looked on expectantly as Alan walked outside and met with him, with Lantern in one of his hands, with his other hand clenched into a fist.

"Were you successful." Tarfful asked curiously.

Alan didn't say anything at first, as he had a pretty stunned look on his face, but he finally did address the Wookie chief. "I...I think so." Alan said after taking a couple deep breaths. To prove his point, Alan lifted up his clenched hand and uncurled his fingers, revealing a small object in the pal of his hand.

It was a green ring with center piece being in the shape of the very lantern itself.

Tarfull was confused by this, as he held out his hands, hoping to inspect it himself. Alan did that as he placed it in Tarfful's hand, alloweing the chief to inspect it up close. He could already tell that this ring, despite being pretty small, was very powerful, as it was made from the very lantern itself.

Tarfful gave the ring one last look, before giving it back to Alan. "The treasure is yours now. It has deemed you worthy to wield its great power." Tarfful said, which caused Alan to bow his head in a grateful manner. "Try it on, and let it course through you."

Alan nodded as he held the ring up and slipped it on his left middle finger. He was expecting something to happen, after working so hard to forge whatever this ring was, but unfortunately nothing seemed to be happening. Confused, he cast a glance at the lantern in his other hand, and noticed a faint glow coming from it, though not as intense as it was before. Deciding to give it a whirl, Alan placed the ring on his finger inside of the center of the lantern, thinking that might make something happen.

Sure enough, something did happen, as the inside of the lantern seemed to be glowing bright again with a green flame at the center, but the flame-like energy also seemed to be flowing into the ring itself. Alan pulled away from the lantern and held his ring up in the air, allowing it to glow an even brighter green that almost illuminated the entire forest.

The Wookies were stunned at first, before each of them gave out an approving roar and holding their hands up in a congratulatory manner. Alan looked stunned as he could feel the power of the ring flowing through him, the same power he felt from the lantern.

"Incredible." Alan whispered to himself.

On this very night, things have changed for Alan on cosmic scale.

Tatooine, a desert world that is a safe haven for the scum and villainy throughout the Outer Rim, due to the strong grip Jabba the Hutt has over the planet. There is little to no Republic control here, so most people who live here had to survive on their own two feet. One of the strongest influences that reigns on this planet was slavery, especially in a town called Mos Espa, was slavery.

One such slave was a young boy with dark blonde hair, wearing greyish clothes and boots, walking along throughout a path in Mos Espa. He said to a couple of people, both in Huttese and in Galactic Basic Standard, and despite the harshness of living here, he still kept an optimistic disposition.

As he walked down the path, he came up upon a technician workshop and entered it, where various ship parts hanged up on the walls, and a couple pit droids were on a work bench fixing what looked like an engine.

"Hey, guys." The young boy waved to the pit droids, which they waved back. "Is Jay here, by any chance?" The two pit droids made a few beeps and pointed to the back, but one of them ended hitting the other on the head in the process, which caused a fight to breakout between the two. The kid laughed at their antics before walking towards the back. "Thanks."

The kid walked through the back door and was now inside a much larger workshop, with the parks in here bringing a smile to the kid's face. These parts really excited him as these ones were used specifically for podracers.

"Jay, you in here?" The boy called out.

The was a clamoring of things hitting the ground, causing the boy to turn and see a man in his mid-twenties with brown hair, wearing a red jacket, brown pants, and boots walked out behind a shelf.

"Hey, Anakin." Jay said with a smile as he walked up to the kid and ruffled his hair, causing the boy to groan a bit in annoyance. "What you doing here all of a sudden?"

"Watts made a pretty big sale, so he said he felt generous enough to let me out of his shop early." Anakin answered as he looked at all of the parts hanging on the wall.

"He's not given you any trouble, is he?" Jay asked in concern.

"Nah, nothing that I can't handle. He just overworks me sometimes if we fall behind, but at least I get to work with a lot of cool ship parts." Anakin said dismissively, before his attention was caught on something that made his eyes widen with excitement. It was the cockpit to podracer, without the engines attached to it. It had a dark red color scheme with a couple lightning bolt symbols painted on both its sides. "Oh, wow, it's your podracer!"

"Yeah, thought I'd give it a nice cleaning." Jay said with a smile.

Anakin looked back at Jay with a huge smile on his face. "Are you going to do it? Are you going to race again?"

Jay chuckled at that while shaking his head, causing Anakin's smile to fall. "Sorry, kid, but you know I don't race anymore."

"Oh, come on!" Anakin complained. "I'm sure if you did, you'd win for sure. You came so close to beating Sebulba, if he hadn't cheated."

"Well, it would be nice to be on that track one last time." Jay said with a nostalgic smile while looking to the side...

...seeing a glass case that contained a silver helmet that had golden wings on its sides.

"Still think you would've won if it wasn't for Sebulba playing dirty." Anakin said in a light grumble.

"Sebulba's a punk, and one day karma's gonna catch up to that sleemo." Jay said nonchalantly, before giving a kid a smile and pointing to a tool on the shelf. "Pass me that, will you?"

Anakin went back to smiling and passed him the tool, and they both just worked on some pod racing engine parts together. The two of them just casually talked about how their day went, the customers they had to help, or just random topics in general. Anakin always loved hanging out with Jay, as he was his podracing hero when he was little, and they both had a love for engineering and star ships.

When Watto signed Anakin up fro podracing a couple of times, he asked Jay for advice, and the guy was happy to help the kid out. True he never did finish a race, but Jay was still supportive, and would help in any way he can. Ever since then they've become good friends and the man became a sort of mentor to the kid.

They to talk for about a couple more hours before they looked outside and noticed that the planet's two suns were close to setting.

"Looks like it's getting dark out." Jay said as he patted the kid on the back. "You better get on home, Ani."

"Yeah, you're right." Anakin said with a nod, before he gathered his things and walked on out. "See you tomorrow, Jay."

"See you around, Ani." Jay called back, watching the kid leave through the door, before speaking to himself. "He's a good kid."

The sun fully set as Anakin walked along an empty path between buildings to get back home. Luckily there was no sandstorm tonight so it would be a safer walk than usual.

That thought quickly left the door when three individuals walked out behind the corners of a building and surrounded the young boy. One was human with a few facial markings, while the other two were an Arcona and a Duros.

"Well, Well, look at what we have here, boys." The human said while speaking Huttese. "Think you can spare a few travelers some credits, kid?"

Anakin grew nervous as he took a couple cautious steps back. "I-I don't have very much. Almost nothing." Anakin responded in Huttese as well.

"It's no trouble, we'll just take whatever's in that bag of yours." The human said as he and his cohorts brought out their blasters.

"I'm a slave!" Anakin exclaimed in desperation. "If anything happens to me, you'll be in big trouble!" Harming a slave that isn't anyone's property is frowned upon here, and can lead to serious consequences for the attacker. It's the main reason Sebulba never harmed him despite his hatred towards the boy.

"Well then, if you're a valuable slave, then your master will probably pay a hefty price to reclaim you." The human said with a sneer.

Anakin looked even more fearful as these guys weren't deterred by his attempts at threatening them. He wondered if he should scream out fro help, but would anybody get to him in time, and what if they shoot him if he did?

'Please...someone...help me!' Anakin inwardly screamed.

Suddenly, a red blur with yellow lightning trailing behind it circled around the three thugs, kicking up a huge cloud of sand.

"What the kriff?!" The human thug exclaimed in shock.

The three thugs raised their guns, ready to fire at whatever the hell this thing was, but they felt their guns being yanked out of their hands and disappearing. Then, in the blink of an eye, each of them got punched in the face and were knocked out, collapsing to the ground. As soon as they were all unconscious, the red blur sped off and disappeared in just a single second.

Anakin was left flabbergasted by what he just witnessed, but he wasn't going to look a gift bantha in the mouth, so he just took off back home. While running, he thought about what his mom would say about all this.

What Anakin did not realize that he was being watched by Jay, looking at him from around a corner of a building. Seeing as the kid was safe now, Jay gave a slight smile, before sped off in a blur with a lightning trail behind him.

Mos Espa wasn't the only location where excitement was happening on Tatooine. The following morning, deep within the Dune Sea, a single man was riding on the back of an Eopie, wearing a cloak to protect his body from the light of the two suns.

The man looked to be in his early thirties as he removed the hood of his cloak to reveal his blonde hair, with a tiny bit of a stubble along his face. He looked around in various directions, but could only see dessert for miles to come. However, he did finally see something in the distance, so he got off his Eopie and pulled out his electrobinoculars and looked through them. Thanks to his tool, he managed to spot a canyon in the distance, which caused him to smile in satisfaction.

"That might be where I'm supposed to go." The man said to himself.

Graaaah!

The man jumped when he heard a roar coming up behind him and looked back to see a pair of Tusken Raiders slowly approaching him. One of them held up his gaffi stick in striking position while the other one held on to his rifle, in case he decided to run. The man tried to keep calm, but he could still feel a slight unease from being in the presence of the actually inhabitants of Tatooine.

The one with the gaffi stick attempted to strike, but the man held up his hands, halting him from attacking. "Wait! Just wait." The man exclaimed, which thankfully seemed to work. The man then started to do some sign language, which seemed to placate the Tuskens even further.

Contrary to popular belief to everyone in this planet, Tusken Raiders are not these mindless savages and monsters everyone makes them out to be. They only attack if people trespass on their land and territories, and do anything that threatens their tribe. So as long as you leave them alone, most likely they'll leave you alone.

After finishing his sign language, the Tuskens looked at each other, before the one with the rifle holstered his blaster and started signing as well. The man smiled as now they were getting somewhere.

"I...just want passage...through the Dune Sea...to that canyon." The man whispered as he signed, while at the end he pointed the canyon in the distance. The Tusken signed back in response, which the man responded as well. "Why do I want to go there? I don't know, I've had some...strange dreams." The man gained a thoughtful look as he glanced at the canyon in the distance, before signing on last thing. "I think it's...fate."

The Tuskens stared long at hard at him, before the one with gun stepped forward, but in a hostile way. He held out his hand to the man expectantly, causing him to widen his eyes slightly, before nodding and passing him his electrobinoculars. A fair trade off; he gives him some valuable tools that they can use, and they will allow him safe passage through the Dune Sea.

With that, the Tuskens walked off back to their banthas and rode off, returning back to their camp. The man smiled that negotiations was short, but also successful and that he would continue on his quest. With that delay taken care of, he hopped back on his Eopie, before patting it on the head, and then riding off back to the canyon.

He eventually made it to the opening of the canyon and decided to continue on foot and traversed through the giant crevice. He noted that this place would be an excellent hiding spot for Jawas to ambush any travelers, but he didn't see any sandcrawler tracks, nor did he think they could sneak past the Tuskens, so he was probably safe.

He paused in his steps when he noticed some carvings along the canyon walls. These carvings were of letters in an ancient dialect that he could probably decipher, but it would take time. He also noticed there were several carvings of people and various aliens wearing a cape and holding what looked like a helmet above their heads. Each carving of these individuals continued right next to each other, sometimes a human, sometimes an alien, but the one constant thing was all ways that cape and helmet.

The man stopped when he came upon a dead end in the canyon, but noticed a large image carved into the canyon wall. This image was of a larger picture of the helmet that all those individuals carved into the wall were holding. With this larger image, the man could now see the design of the helmet, which looked like it was supposed to cover the entirety of one's head.

Curious, the man placed his hand along one of the many carved lines on the picture, which made something happen. The eyes on the large carving began to glow bright, and for some reason, it looked like the carving was looking right at him. The man stepped back cautiously, but then he held his head in slight discomfort. All around him he could hear a faint whisper, speaking in the back of his mind.

"Is...is that you talking?" The man asked the large carving, with he response he got was even more whispering all around him. He took a brave step forward and gave a hard look at the carving. "I've been having dreams about this place. I think I keep seeing you at epicenter of them all. I need to know why?"

The carving's eyes glowed brighter as wisps of energy flowed from it and surrounded the man, much to the man's confusion. All of a sudden, images started flooding the man's minds, some being pretty clear while others were blurry and he couldn't make out completely.

Of the images he could see, he saw planets that were once lush, beautiful, full of green, were now burning and being turned to ash. He saw people running and screaming in fright as shadow images of individuals he couldn't make out marched along city streets and started blasting everyone they saw, with images of buildings crumbling and toppling over as cities were laid waste were also being showed to him.

The final images showed of a shadowy figure giving off a sinister laugh as he and his army marched along the streets of what appeared to be the planet Coruscant, as the city planet crumbled around them.

However, a bright light shined before this evil individual, as many figures with an equal glowing light, wearing various different outfits, rather floated or stood before him defiantly. The glowing individuals charged at the shadowy figure and his army, giving a battle cry that echoed all around them, before the images just stopped.

The man gasped in shock as the images ceased, causing him to drop down to his hands and knees on the desert sands. He panted heavily as he tried to process what he just saw, as he couldn't really make heads or tails of it, but one conclusion came to his mind over and over again.

"That was the future, wasn't it?" The man asked the large helmet carving. He received more whispering in his mind, which confirmed his suspicion, as he stood back up.

If that was the future that he just saw, then how should he go about this? He can't go to the Senate with what he discovers, as they would most likely never believe him without solid evidence that something terrible was going to happen. Perhaps, maybe the Jedi? Would they be more inclined to believe him, as he has heard rumors throughout his travels that some Jedi were supposedly capable of seeing the future. However, he was no Jedi, he was not Force-sensitive, what reasons would they have to believe him?

"If truly was the future, then how do we stop it?" The man asked in semi desperation, wondering if there was anything that can be done. "Tell me, how do we change fate?"

The whispering in the man's head finally stopped and the glow on the carving's eyes finally ceased, causing the man to think if he did something wrong. He started to worry if he would ever get another response, but sure enough, a response did come when a large glowing symbol appeared beneath the man's feet. The man gasped in shock at this, before he felt the sand he was standing on disappear, causing him to fall right through the symbol.

"AAAHHH!" The man screamed as he had nothing to stand on and fell right through the symbol.

Just as quickly as the symbol appeared, it completely disappeared, leaving no trace of the man that was there before, leaving the canyon completely silent as it was before.

Deep in the Mid Rim of the Chomell Sector, lies the planet of Naboo, a lush and green beautiful world filled with rolling plains, grassy hills, and swampy lakes. It was also home to beautiful cities filled with art and architecture, but the important one was the capital city of Theed.

Theed is where the royal palace was located, where the politics of the planet mainly took place, and where the queen of Naboo resides. The city was also mainly known for prioritizing the advancements of science, education, and arts.

The day was just as busy as it was any day, with plenty of shop vendors selling their products, people going to work, or families just out spending time together. Naboo was a peaceful world, so there was no reason for anybody to be on guard, except for the tensions that grow between the humans and the natural inhabitants of this world, the Gungans.

One of the buildings of Theed, housed a laboratory filled with shelves of various chemicals and formulas in glass beakers and containers. At the center of this lab was a man in his early thirties with pale skin and short white hair, wearing a black shirt under a long yellow lab coat. The most distinguishable feature of this man was that his face had blue face paint markings on it, indicating that this man was part of the Sarkhai race.

The man stood over a large maze with a a bunch of pellets at the center where all the paths interconnected. He poured a few liquid contents into a vial, before the mixture started to have a faint yellow glow to it, causing him to smile. "Alright, now it's time for the initial test."

"Doctor Tilar." A voice called out behind, causing the Sarkhai man to look back and see a dark-skinned man wearing the Naboo security force force walk into the lab. "I thought I'd come and check on your progress."

"Captain Panama, always a pleasure." Tilar said with a smile as the two of them shook hands. "You're just in time to see the next test for my experiment."

Tilar pressed a button that caused a panel to open up in the maze and a rodent creature stepped out from it. Tilar then poured the yellow liquid into a tube feeder and placed it on top of one of the walls of the maze. The rodent sniffed the tube to drink from, before he started suckling it, drinking the formula until the bottle was all empty. After drinking its fill, the rodent sniffed around until it caught a whiff of the food and ran through one of the paths.

Panaka watched and studied each way the rodent took, but then noticed something odd about the maze. "Tilar, I've noticed that there are no correct paths for that rodent to get to its food."

"Precisely the point." Tilar said with a smile. "There is absolutely no conventional way for this creature to exit the maze and get to his food, so he's going to have to find..."

The rodent continued to move through the many paths of the maze, but it could not find its way out. It took another whiff to know where its food is, before it sniffed the wall and then backed up. It charged at the wall and managed to bust right through it head first, causing Panaka's eyes to widen in shock.

"...an unconventional way through." Tilar said with a satisfied look. "Those walls are made up of thick solid stone."

"You did it, then." Panaka said in amazement.

"Test one for my strength formula is a complete success." Tilar said with satisfaction as he pulled out another vial of the same formula."Still might be too early for testing it on Sarkhai, or any sentient species in general." He then cast a grateful look at Panaka. "Tell the queen that she has my eternal gratitude for funding my research for this project."

"The queen knew how vital your research was to you, and to your people. She was more than happy to help provide you a place and equipment to work." Panaka said with a nod. "Have you come up with a name for this concoction of yours."

"I've been thinking of a name, and I've decided to call it the Miraclo." Tilar said proudly. "This formula will be the miracle to save a lot of lives, not just for my people, but for everyone in the galaxy."

"Are there any side effects?" Panaka asked curiously.

"The only side effect that I have cataloged was that the enhanced strength the Miraclo gives is only temporary, mainly just one hour." Tilar said as he looked over the formula.

Their conversation was cut short when Panaka's communicator sounded off, causing him to pull it out and speak to him. "Panaka." The security captain sounded off.

"Sir, our sensors picked up a heavy fleet coming out of hyperspace above Naboo!" The voice said over the comms.

This caused alarm to spread throughout both Panaka and Tilar, as the Naboo security captain's eyes hardened. "How many ships are we talking about?"

"At least half a dozen ships, sir! They've just started blockading the planet!"

"Do you have any idea what models they are and who they belong to?" Panaka asked strongly.

"Scans are coming in now." There was a brief pause, before the voice spoke up again. "Got it, they appear to be Lucrehulk-class battleships, and...sir, it's the Trade Federation!"

Both Panaka and Tilar's eyes widened in shock as the later ran up to a window and looked right up into the sky in alarm. Though he couldn't see them, he could just imagine a whole fleet looming above the planet, threatening to invade.

"This is not good." Tilar said in alarm.

"I've got to get to the queen, she'll want to hear this!" Panaka exclaimed as he raced off out the lab.

Tilar looked back up into the sky, unaware that in the cosmic scales of the galaxy, this one simple act was going to change the very fabric of the galaxy.

Hey everybody, I'm here with a little experimental chapter of a new story for you all.

This is a prologue for an idea that I have been wrapping around my head for a long time. For so long I have been wanting to do a Star Wars crossover, but I just could not figure out which media to cross it over with. I've been thinking maybe a single hero, but there are so many I could work with, I just couldn't decide which one. Then I thought maybe a team, but then I had trouble thinking about what team to use.

Possible ideas were the Legion of Super Heroes, but I've decided to save that team for a different genre, just not sure which one. Then I thought maybe the X-Men, but it became too complicated to think of which X-men to keep as human and which ones to change into aliens. Then it became crazy with me thinking of having the DCEU Justice League and other heroes appear in the Star Wars galaxy, but unlike the MCU there isn't much to work with for that universe since its timeline is just so convoluted at this point.

That's when an idea hit me after I rewatched an episode from the Smallville show, where Clark met a few members from the retired Justice Society of America. Those guys were the predecessor of the more famous Justice League and I feel like they don't get a lot of love, but I didn't know much about them so I just hold off on this project. However, Warner Bros. released an animated movie Justice Society World War II, and that's when I decided to do research on them, and they have such an interesting roster list that I knew I could definitely work with them.

Now, some info on how this story is going to work, not all members of the Justice Society will be all human as they are in the comics. As you can tell, Hawkman and Hawkgirl will be the alien race Thanagerians instead of their comic book origins of reincarnated lovers, and my version of Hourman will be part of the Sarkhai race. I will do my best to integrate the lore of DC with the lore of Star Wars and I think I can make it work.

Now, depending on the reception of this prologue will determine how much time I'll spend on this, but I am in this story for the long haul. This story will go through the prequels and the Clone Wars, and let me tell you I am super excited for all that I have planned for this. The realm of Star Wars is going to be so shaken up, they will have no idea what'll hit them.

P.S. Not all of my upcoming stories listed on my bio will be getting a trailer before I publish them, it just all depends on my rush of inspiration.

That's all for now, everyone. Stay healthy, stay safe, I'll see you all next time!
