Seeing a chapter titled "author's note" always makes me think the worst so I'll just come out and say this: No need to panic, I'm not abandoning this story XD
But if you've been reading the A/Ns throughout the chapters you probably saw me mention losing access to my Ao3 account with the same name as here and therefore not updating the story here either. I also mentioned recently recovering that access which is the reason there have been updates.
Anyway, turns out that in Ao3 I can transfer stories from one account to another pretty easily which was a great relief since I had to make a second account after losing access to my usual one, and I had more stories there than on the older account. I have since transferred the version of this fanfic in Ao3 from TheQuaintrelle to the Yumeori account, which makes my life (and updates) much easier.
Unfortunately, this website doesn't have such convenient resources, which means I'll be manually uploading chapter by chapter to my fanfiction dot net Yumeori account :/ a lot of effort but I really would rather have my works in one place rather than scattered about.
TL/DR: This fic will be transferred to the account named Yumeori, if you followed or favorited it, you'll have to find it again and do it in that account.
