Homecoming
The next morning, the plane carrying Ed, Edd, and Eddy arrived at the airport. After getting off the plane with their backpacks and trophies, the Eds collected their bikes and walked them to the direction of Peach Creek. Minutes later, the Eds found themselves looking up a street that goes through their neighborhood.
"You know, even though Sinnoh was great, it actually feels good to be back home. Right, boys?" asked Eddy.
"Yeah." said Ed.
"I agree, Eddy." said Edd. "After all the excitement from the Lily of the Valley Conference, I've forgotten why we left the Cul-De-Sac in the first place." Ed begins scratching his head.
"I think we were hiding from someone, guys." said Ed. Frightened looks appear on Edd and Eddy's faces.
"Oh my, now I remember. We left because the kids in the neighborhood were going to pummel us." said Edd. "But after two months without us, they probably got over what we did. Right?"
"What if they didn't?" asked Eddy. He begins looking around. "Okay, it looks like the coast is clear."
"If we're real quiet, we can get to our homes without anyone seeing us." said Edd.
"But guys, Sarah lives with me." said Ed.
"Just go into your room through the window quietly and maybe she won't know you're there." said Edd.
"Okay. Let's go." said Eddy. They only took two steps when they heard someone shouting.
"Hey! The Eds are back!" They turn to see Jonny pointing at them while carrying Plank. "You were right, Plank! You did see the Eds!" All of a sudden, all the other Cul-De-Sac kids come out of their homes and rush towards the Eds.
"What do we do, Eddy?!" asked Ed. Eddy lets out a sigh of resignation.
"Let's just get beat up and get it over with. Just close your eyes so we at least we can't see it coming." said Eddy. They all close their eyes and await the pain. A minute later, they feel arms wrap around them, but no pain. They all open their eyes to see all the Cul-De-Sac kids hugging them.
"Why aren't they hurting us, Eddy?" asked Ed.
"I have no idea." said Eddy.
"Never leave again! Never leave again! Never leave again!" said Kevin.
"What's going on here?" asked Edd.
"Things have been crazy since you three have been gone!" said Nazz.
"The police have been looking for you!" said Jimmy.
"The Kanker Sisters have been out to get all of us!" said Jonny. After a minute, the Cul-De-Sac kids let the Eds go.
"We saw you guys at that Pokemon tournament thing." said Sarah, surprising the Eds.
"Wait. You can get TV signals from Sinnoh here?" asked Eddy.
"Yeah. We saw you on the Kankers TV when they had us tied up there." said Kevin.
"Then we saw the finals on the TV at your house with all your parents, Double-D." said Nazz. Edd's eyes widen.
"Our parents! I'll bet they were worried sick about us!" said Edd.
"So where are they?" asked Eddy.
"They're all at work." said Sarah.
"So how did you guys end up in that Sinnoh place?" asked Nazz.
"Well, when you were chasing us, we got to the airport." said Edd. "We saw some crates on the other side of the fence, so we got under the fence and jumped into an open one to hide. The crate got nailed shut and it was loaded into a plane bound for the Sinnoh region."
"I had to go to the bathroom bad." said Ed.
"Can we see your Pokemon?" asked Nazz. Edd looks down with a forlorn look on his face.
"We couldn't bring them with us." replied Edd.
"What?! Why?!" asked Jimmy.
"There's no Pokemon Centers around here." said Edd.
"Pokemon Centers?" asked Jonny.
"They're facilities that specialize in healing injured Pokemon." said Edd. "Professor Rowan feels that because there aren't any of them here, and if any of our Pokemon got hurt, there would be no way to heal them."
"I miss my Pokemon!" said Ed, bawling.
"So do I, big guy." said Eddy. "But we still had a blast in Sinnoh."
"Rolf wants to know what it was like where you were." said Rolf. The Eds set down their trophies and Edd pulls out the photo album he got back in Sinnoh. The Eds talked about all the places and people in the photos they took. Kevin was checking out the Eds' bikes and asked if he could ride one of them, which Edd allowed. When Kevin pedaled, the bike went incredibly fast up the street and back to where the others were. When Kevin got off the bike, his eyes were wide, and he was shaking.
"Whoa." said Kevin. The boys spent a lot of time looking at the picture of Cynthia with blushes on their faces. "Who's the babe?"
"She's hot." said Jonny.
"That's the Sinnoh region champion, Cynthia." said Edd.
"Is she single?" asked Kevin.
"I don't recall seeing a wedding ring on her finger, so maybe she is." said Edd.
"Rad." said Kevin. Sarah walks over to Ed and puts her hands on her hips.
"So. Did you bring me back a souvenir, Ed?" Sarah asked in a demanding tone. Nervous, Ed opens his backpack and rummages through it, hoping to find something. As he did, he sees something. He reaches into his backpack and pulls out the Pokemon egg he got in Hearthome City.
"Ed! You brought a Pokemon egg back with you?!" exclaimed Edd.
"I forgot I had it, Double-D." replied Ed. Edd's eyes widen as he remembers something. He opens his backpack and pulls out the Pokemon egg Riley gave him.
"I guess I forgot about the egg I had too." said Edd. Ed gives Sarah his egg.
"Here you go, baby sister." said Ed. Sarah examines it.
"What am I supposed to do with this? Make an omelet?" asked Sarah. Suddenly, the egg begins to glow brightly, making the kids turn away. "What's going on?"
"I haven't got a clue." said Edd. When the glowing stopped, Sarah looks to see she was now holding a small, light pink, egg-shaped Pokemon with pink cheeks and a ponytail that looked like it was wearing a red and white pouch on the lower half of its body like pants that had an egg-shaped stone in it.
"Happiny! Happiny!" chanted the Pokemon.
"OH, IT'S SO CUTE!" said Sarah. Edd pulls the pokedex out of his pocket and points it at the Pokemon.
"Happiny, the Playhouse Pokemon. It loves round white things. It carries an egg-shaped rock in imitation of Chansey." said the pokedex.
"Um, is this a good souvenir, Sarah?" asked Ed.
"It's the best souvenir ever, Ed!" said Sarah, hugging Happiny, who hugs her back.
"It's so adorable." said Nazz.
"We're actually seeing a real live Pokemon up close." said Jonny. Edd looks at the pokedex at Happiny's moves.
"This says that Happiny is a girl, she knows Minimize, Pound, and Copycat, and she has the Natural Cure ability which cures her of status conditions when returned to her pokeball." said Edd.
"Pokeball? You mean those ball things that you kept your Pokemon in?" asked Nazz.
"Yes. Hold on, I believe I have some empty pokeballs in my backpack. You can use one to keep Happiny in." said Edd. He reaches into his backpack and pulls one out and hands it to Sarah.
"I'll do it later. I want to spend more time with my new Happiny." said Sarah as she nuzzles her Happiny.
"You take good care of that Happiny, Sarah." said Edd.
"Okay, Double D." said Sarah. Edd looks at his egg, then at Jimmy.
"Here you go, Jimmy." said Edd as he hands Jimmy his Pokemon egg. The instant it touched Jimmy's hands it started to glow brightly like Happiny's egg did. Jimmy quickly sets it down. When the glowing stopped, they see a blue foxlike bipedal Pokemon with black long ears, torso, and lower legs. Edd points the pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Riolu, the Emanation Pokemon, and the pre-evolved form of Lucario. Its body is lithe yet powerful. It can crest three mountains and cross two canyons in one night." said the pokedex.
"It sounds so athletic." said Jimmy. Edd hands Jimmy another empty pokeball.
"This is so cool!" said Kevin. Jimmy walks up to Riolu.
"Would you like to be friends, Riolu?" Jimmy asked Riolu. Riolu stares at Jimmy for a while before nodding. Jimmy smiles with joy. Edd looks up Riolu's information on his pokedex.
"This says that Riolu is a boy, he knows Quick Attack, and Endure, and he has the Inner Focus ability which prevents him from flinching and having his attack power lowered by the Intimidate ability." said Edd. All of a sudden, the Eds hear three voices they hoped they wouldn't hear ring out.
"IT'S OUR BOYFRIENDS!" said the Kanker Sisters as they rush from between two houses, tackle the Eds, and start peppering their faces with kisses. The Cul-De-Sac kids, the Kankers, who were holding the Eds close to them, and the Eds spent the afternoon hanging out with the two new Pokemon until the Eds parents came home. They were so happy and relieved to see their boys' home, safe and sound, that they didn't ground them for leaving the way they did. They informed the police that their sons were back home, so they called off the search. That night after dinner, which was a welcome home barbeque for the Eds, which Rolf provided the meat for, they were in their rooms. Ed was lying on his bed, looking at a small shelf he made from two cinderblocks and a board next to his bedroom door. On it was his third place trophy, his badge case, and a framed photo of him, Edd, and Eddy with their Pokemon at Professor Rowan's lab while his bike was in his garage. In Edd's room, Edd was on his bed looking up at the top of his bookcase where he had his second place trophy. On his nightstand was his badge case and his framed photo of him and his friends with their Pokemon. His bike was kept in his garage. In Eddy's room, Eddy was on his bed, looking up at his first place trophy, badge case, and his framed photo on top of his bed's headboard while his bike was in his garage. Soon it was time for bed. Sarah was in her bed, snuggled with her new Happiny while Jimmy was snuggled in his bed with his new Riolu. The Eds looked at their photos one last time before turning off their lights and going to sleep.

Authors' Note: And with that, the final chapter of Sinnoh Ed-ventures is complete. One month from now we will get started on the Ed's Alola adventure which we'll call "Alola, Eds." We might do it sooner if we can't wait which could happen. In the meantime, we'll focus on our Paldea fanfics, mainly "Ed-ventures in Paldea."
