Summary: In the year 2024, a man known as The Creator founded Maelstrom Automata Corporation and became famous for their production of the worldly phenomenal YoRHa Androids. Said to be a man with many secrets, no one had ever seen him or met him in person… that is, until one of his androids accidentally summons a certain crimson haired devil. Chapter 9

"Master, is this really okay?"

"What is okay?"

Naruto asked, looking up from the small chip he had been working on in the living room of the house before turning his head to the direction White was facing to see what she was implying.

"Oh, you mean Kuroka? Yeah. I don't see anything wrong with her hanging out with the twins. They have always wanted to have a pet cat."

"You know that I am not talking about that, master."

His android assistant said and gave him a disapproving look, but Naruto simply waved it off with an amused chuckle before turning back to his work.

But then, he knew White had every reason to be cautious. After all, he had let Kuroka out of her cell and allowed her to hang out around the house whenever he did not have guests.

At the moment, the Nekoshou was having a picnic with Devola and Popola in the backyard of his house, delightfully enjoying the snacks and foods the android twins had prepared for them beforehand while wearing around her right ankle an electronic anklet, which worked similarly to a GPS monitoring device that was used for house arrest by the polices. Additionally, it also had a built in power dampening function, which was the miniature version of the one that had been keeping her from using her powers in her cell in the basement of his workshop.

While there were other, better options for him to use, the device should be more than enough for him to keep Kuroka from trying to use her powers to sneak off without him or one of his androids knowing while being comfortable – as well as fashionable – enough for her to wear around with some freedom. Even though she was still quite physically strong without her power, it wasn't anything that his androids could not handle.

Although, Naruto highly doubted that she would try to get away and thus breaking the deal she had made with him after the conversation that they had had a few days ago.

"So Rias and her group are not coming as well today, are they?"

"Yes, master." The android assistant answered her master dutifully "Rias sent you a text message earlier this morning to inform that she would not be able to come today. She also apologized for cancelling your appointments."

"I see… wonder what's going on with them."

The blond could not help but muse, remembering the way Rias seemed to space out and appeared to be lost in her thoughts before she and her servants stopped coming to hang out with his androids a few days ago. Something must have been troubling her, and it had affected the members of her peerage, including Akeno, who was her queen and best friend, as well as Kiba and Koneko Toujou, the little sister of Kuroka.

Meanwhile, the two newcomers of her peerage, Issei and Asia, did not look like they knew what was going on.

Regardless, Naruto had to admit that he had gotten used to having Rias and her group around that, without them, his house seemed to have gotten a bit too quiet for his taste. Kuroka had been a nice breath of fresh air, but she was lazy and outside of eating and napping like an actual cat, which was more or less all that she did every day besides being a pleasant treat to the eye for him, she did not do much to change the atmosphere in the house.

His androids, meanwhile, had been left with disappointment every time they were told that the devils were not coming to hang out with them, having grown fond of them and interest in their daily life stories.

"What are you making, master?" White then asked, looking at the chip that her master was working on using some tools and a large magnifying glass. There was no information about it in her database, but judging from the layouts of the chips and the professor cores that she was able to scan, she could tell it was some sort of a remote controlling chip.

"This is for 2B and her flight suit. It's a neural interface control chip." Naruto answered as he used a tweezers to pick up the chip and showed it to his android assistant, who leaned down to take a closer look at it with her own eyes after temporarily turning off her scanner "The transmission speeds should not be any more than 1 nanosecond, faster than any signal inside the human brain. It will allow her to have remote control over her flight suit, and more precision-intensive actions while flying."

"You really are gearing her up for war, aren't you, master?" White questioned after spending straight up.

"Hey, a man gotta have his hobby, you know." Naruto defended himself "And also, I am not gearing her up for war. I am preparing her just in case. There is a difference."

"Sure, master." White said, the corner of her lips curving into a small, but noticeable smirk as she looked at him knowingly, making Naruto huff in response. "It appears that 2B is still training in the Danger Room, in case you want to look for her later to install the chip once you are done, master."

"I see. Tell her to take it slow, and come see me after she is done, alright?"

"As you wish, master."

And so, the rest of the morning passed by idly for Naruto and his androids, who went about with their daily routines as usual. After he had finished running some test on the chip to see if it worked, Naruto tried to keep himself busy while waiting for 2B to finish her training by doing some company works, signing the contracts and documents that his android assistant brought him after she had gone through them herself to list out the ones that would best benefit him and his company, and the ones that went straight to the dumpster without needing to give a second look.

In the end, however, because White worked too effectively as always, Naruto ended up having very little to do. Once again, the blond found himself sitting in the living room of his lavish mansion, watching the news on TV and listening to Kuroka and the android twin playing a game of cards in their room, wondering if he could ask to join them while eating a bowl of potato chips.

"Is there anything I can help you girls with?" Naruto asked, using the remote control to lower the volume of the TV down after noticing a group of android operators, being led by 6O, who had chosen for herself the name Sera yesterday, glancing at him while whispering among one another as they made their way into the room.

"Ah, master… we are just wondering if Rias and her group are going to come today." Sera replied with a small, hopeful smile, which was shared by the other androids as they stood behind her and nodded their heads repeatedly in agreement.

"Sorry Sera, everyone, but Rias and her group are not going to come as well today. They are really busy right now, I think." The blond trailed off at that, not feeling entirely sure himself.

"Oh… is that so? Well, I guess it cannot be helped then." was the only thing that the blonde android could say in response, as the hopeful smile on her face dropped a little.

Naruto could not help but feel bad for her. He knew how much Sera had been looking forward to telling Rias that she had chosen her name, having seen them discussing it with each other every time they had the time to.

"You know what, Sera, everyone… maybe I can do something about that."

Making up his mind, the blond rose from his seat and walked over to stand in front of Sera and her operator friends, making the blonde look at him in wonder before widening her eyes slightly in surprise when he reached out and put his hand on the top of her head, rubbing her hair gently while grinning

Break

"Do not touch me so casually, Raiser!"

Rias scoffed spitefully as she pushed away the hand that tried to grab her before backing away, glaring heatedly at the blonde haired man who stood facing her inside her clubroom while being surrounded by their servants and the addition of an incredibly beautiful and attractive silver haired woman dressed in a form fitting white and blue French maid outfit.

Unlike the other devils in the room, Grayfia Lucifuge also appeared to be the only one that was not glaring at the blond, who had a smug smirk on his face as he looked at Rias, maintaining a calm and collected demeanor as she silently watched the scene unfolding before her.

"What is it that you want, Raiser?"

"My, you are just harsh as ever, my dear Rias…" Raiser laughed in amusement, not taking Rias' heated question seriously in the slightest. "Whatever, why don't we go take a look at the wedding hall. We also need to double check the guest list and verify the date with our families as well."

"I've already told you, Raiser, I have no intention of marrying you!" Rias stated firmly as she continued glare daggerly at Raiser. One could see a faint, crimson aura surrounding her body as her power started responding to her emotion, but Raiser was unaffected.

"W-wait, what? Buchou? You are going to get married!"

Issei cried out in shock as he snapped his head between Raiser and Rias, looking confusedly at the two of them while trying to find an answer to all of the questions he was having in his head, while standing beside him, Asia was also having a similar expression

"Akeno-san, Kiba… who the hell is this guy? Who are these girls?" he questioned, looking over to the group of fifteen beautiful young women behind Raiser, who simply ignored him as if he did not exist.

Raiser, meanwhile, simply looked at Issei as if the young man was nothing more than a piece of trash under his heel as he asked. "Who are you again?"

"My name is Hyoudou Issei, and I am Rias Gremory-sama's pawn!" Issei introduced himself strongly and confidently, standing his ground despite being looked down upon by Raiser, who snorted mockingly in response as he replied in an uncaring manner, while his peerage just whispered to each other while glancing at Issei in disgust.

"Ah… I see."

"What the hell is that attitude? And by the way, you have not answered my question! Who the hell are you!?"

Instead of giving Issei his answer, Raiser turned his head to look at Rias and spoke to her, "Can't say how disappointed I am that you did not tell your servants about me, Rias. Though, I'm even more surprised he doesn't know me. But then, he does smell like a human. It does make sense if he is a reincarnated devil."

"I did not tell my servants because there was no reason for me to tell them about you, Raiser." Rias retorted.

Raiser, however, only gave her a smile. "I am not surprised."

"Ahem… Issei Hyoudou-san and Asia Argento-san, these here are Raiser Phenex-sama, the third son of the Phenex devil household, and his peerage." Grayfia spoke up with a hand gesturing to the side, causing everyone but Raiser to look at her "Raiser-sama is also Rias-sama's fiancé."

"W-wait… what? Fiancé!?" Issei gawked in shock as his mind tried to comprehend the words that had just come out of Grayfia's mouth while Rias just stood there and sighed longingly in disappointment, and annoyance.

"Yes, fiancé. Just in case you are not smart enough to understand it, it means your master and I are engaged."

"Enough, Raiser!" Rias slammed her hands onto the desk, cutting him off in frustration. "I've already told you and this will be the last time I am going to say it. I'm not going to marry you!"

"You say like you have a choice, Rias." Raiser spoke up with a smile as if he was amused, but there was also a slight edge in his voice as he met Rias' gaze fearlessly. "Both our families have already decided on this. Don't forget that it is also your family who has been even hastier to unite our two houses than mine."

"How egotistical can you possibly be, Raiser?" Rias narrowed her eyes at him. "As the heir to the Gremory family, I am the one who will decide who gets to be my partner. And regardless of that, I was already promised that I would be allowed to do as I pleased until after I graduated from a university in the human world."

"I fear you don't quite understand the situation, Rias my dear." Raiser pointed out firmly. "Your parents and Sirzechs-sama fear your household may go extinct. "In the previous Great war between gods, fallen angels and us devils, many of our pure-blooded members have lost their lives in the conflicts, and that's not even mentioning the number of households that went extinct over the years because they could not produce any heir. It is only natural that our parents would try to keep our blood pure by joining together. The offspring of two high ranking, pure-blooded devils is invaluable. Even you should know that."

Rias closed her eyes.

"Also, the reincarnated devils like your servants are expanding in strength but then that would make us, the high class devils with a history, lose our place. There are ancient nobles who approach the reincarnated devils because they are very powerful. Well, that may be fine, these newly produced Devils are also important for our future, but can't we allow pure-blooded devils to extinguish themselves? You and I were chosen to prevent the thoroughbreds from becoming extinct.

"My home is safe because I have my older brothers, but there are only two children in your home, and your brother is Lucifer. The only one who can allow your child to inherit the name Gremory and your household is only you. If you don't take a husband, the house of Gremory will become extinct in your generation. Are you trying to crush the house that has been with the devil for such a long time? Because of the past war, there are not even half the number of devils that have been referred to as 72 pillars. This marriage has the future of us devils on the line."

Finally, after a long moment of silence to allow Raiser to speak up his mind, Rias spoke up, her tone still as strong as before "I know what my duties are, Raiser, so I am not going to crush my own household and I'm willing to have a husband. "

"Oh, what is expected from my Rias! So let's go-"

At that, Raiser gave a big smile, but before he could finish, Rias had already interrupted him, stating very clearly.

"But I am not going to marry you, Raiser. I will marry the one that I acknowledge. Even the devils of the old noble house have the right to choose."

Hearing this, Raiser scoffed, dropping the smile on his face for the first time as he made an unpleasant noise with his tongue.

"...you know, Rias. I am also a devil who takes the name of my household seriously. I cannot allow that name to get tarnished. I didn't even want to get to a small old building like this in the human world. On the contrary, I don't even like the human world very much. The fire and wind of this world are unclean. For a devil like me, who dominates fire and wind themselves, I simply can't take it anymore!"

And with that, Raiser unleashed his flame, making it look like a pair of wings on his back. The sweltering heat soon became so intense that all the members of Rias' peerage, who Raiser was directing his power at, ended up sweating profusely while looking cautiously at the third son of the Phenex Household.

"I will take you back to the underworld, even if I have to incinerate all your servants."

Raiser scolded as he increased his power, causing the pressure in the room to become so overwhelming that Asia had to hide behind Issei and Kiba, who both stood protectively in front of their friend to protect her if the worst happened.

"You try to lay one hand on my servants and I am going to do a whole lot more than just putting those flames of yours out, Raiser!" Rias growled in anger, as her demonic power became visible, flaring dangerously around her body and becoming the counter to the intense heat of Raiser's intense flame.

"Raiser-sama, Rias-sama…"

Then suddenly, before either of them could say anything more to each other, their aura and flame were completely snuffled away, as the temperature in the room dropped drastically. Shivering in nervousness with sweats trickling down their faces despite the cold, every devil in the room turned their heads to look at the silver haired maid standing on the side, who had a passive look on her face despite radiating more power and also authority than both high class devils in the room could put together.

"Please, calm down or I will have to…"

Before Grayfia could finish her request, she and everyone else was surprised by a disdain, high pitched droning noise, making them look up when they realized it was an aircraft of a sort cutting through the air at extreme speed. It made a full round around the sky above Kuoh academy, before eventually landing directly on the rooftop directly on top of them.

Rias could only gasp in shock. Because she had heard that sound before.

"Rias, what was…" Before Raiser Phenex could finish asking the question, the window on the other side of the room slid open, before a certain female android with short white hair wearing a form fitting black dress jumped in, landing gracefully in front of the devils before looking around, scanning everyone before her eyes eventually landed on Rias.

"Ah, good afternoon, Rias Gremory." 2B greeted her with a small smile.

"2B?" Rias found herself uttering in shock, as she looked at the android girl with eyes as wide as dinner plates "What are you…? How did you…?"

She asked, despite knowing vaguely that 2B must have flown to them using her personal flight suit that Naruto had made for her.

"I flew here." 2B answered calmly as she had always been before bringing out from behind her back a mechanical looking box, bearing the crest of Maelstrom Automata on the top. "Are you free right now? Master wishes to talk to you and everyone."

"Master?" Raiser asked, raising an eyebrow in wonder as he turned his gaze between 2B and the box she was holding in her hands. He could tell that not only was she an exclusive android, but she was also a model that he had never seen or heard before, having done his research before picking his own, who he named Xuelan and added her in his peerage as a [Rook] "Who do you belong to?"

2B, however, completely ignored him and put the box down to open it, making a set of four mini drones like devices to fly out and land on the four corners of the room. At once, the drones opened up, revealing lenses that then shone orange lasers across the entire room, scanning the furniture and the devils standing inside, as they continued to look at it in confusion, no one more so than Raiser Phenex and his peerage.

"Master, everything is set."

"Thank you, 2B."

2B spoke before the drones projected the holographic image of her master, Naruto Uzumaki, whose voice could be heard before he appeared before the devils with a wide grin on his face as he looked around the room.

"Oh wow, are you in a meeting or something, Rias?" The blond asked with an amused smile, his eyes landing on Grayfia and seeing her looking directly at him. The silver haired woman hid it well, but he could see a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "2B was on a test flight, so I asked her to come see you guys for me. Maybe I should have tried to reach out for you at a different time, or send you a text message first."

"Ah, it's fine, Naruto-san." Rias shook her head and said, before she looked at Grayfia, who was looking at her in expectation, and decided to introduce him to her while ignoring Raiser "Grayfia, this is Naruto Uzumaki. He's a client of mine. Naruto-san, this is Grayfia Lucifuge, she serves my family and brother as our head maid"

"I see." Grayfia nodded her head in acknowledgement before looking at Naruto, who took a hand out of his pocket to give her a wave "Nice to meet you, Naruto-san."

"The pleasure is all mine, Grayfia-san." Naruto said with a charming grin and a wink, but Grayfia only stared nonchalantly at him before looking at 2B "How was your flight, 2B? Everything went well I hope?"

"Yes, master. The new chip works very well. I have no problem with it."

As 2B answered his questions, Naruto put a hand above her face and made a data panel to open up, allowing Naruto to check her status and go through all the data of her file, nodding his head in approval as he swiped his hand up to switch to different pages.

"Hey you!" Having had enough of being outright ignored by not only his fiancé and the stranger, Raiser spoke up in annoyance as he stepped forward "I don't know who you think you are, but this is a private affair, so I suggest that you tell your android to leave and…"

"It does look like it."

Naruto stated with an amused chuckle as he made 2B's data panel disappear before turning over to face Raiser, who narrowed his eyes at him before looking over his shoulder he saw Naruto making a gesture with his head over to Xuelan, who was looking strangely at the blond.

"Nice to meet you, young man. I see that you own an exclusive android over there, if that group of girls is your peerage." Naruto said, making Raiser cock an eyebrow in slight surprise at him "A custom made combat model, I presume?"

"You can tell?"

"Of course. I know my android." Naruto nodded his head and stated with a grin, making his way over to sit down on the couch on the side of the room with 2B following closely at his side as if he was really there in the room with them before continuing, revealing with an amused smile as he leaned back and sat with one leg crossing over the other "I am the one you called the Creator after all."

His statement caused the entire room to gasp in shock, with no one feeling more so Rias and her peerage as they did not expect him to reveal his secret right off the bat like that.

"You? The Creator?" Raiser asked in disbelief as he looked at the other blond, who did not look a day older than him "There is no way that someone like you is..."

"No, he is. He really is the Creator." Xuelan spoke up, interrupting her master as she stepped forward and bowed to Naruto, who smiled and nodded his head to her while Raiser could only look on in shock. "It's an honor to finally meet you, Creator."

"Raise your head. There is no need for such formality." He said simply, before looking over to Rias, noticing the look she was giving him "I have a program installed in every android. They will recognize me the moment I acknowledge myself as their creator. Don't expect too much from a guy with a god complex."

"So even my Hana will recognize you?" Rias asked, referring to her maid at home who she had told Naruto about.

"Yes." Naruto smiled, nodding his head in confirmation before turning his attention back to Raiser, who was trying to pick his jaw up from the ground just like the members of his peerage, with the only exception being Xuelan for an obvious reason "So, now that I have revealed myself to be someone of significant status, do you want me to leave me being the creator of the worldwide phenomenal YoRHa androids is enough to allow me to stay here?"

Raiser Phenex could only swallow, and for the first time, the third son of the Phenex devil household found himself looking at Rias and seeing her returning his gaze without any malice, as if she was wondering the same questions that he had in his mind.

One thing that they both agreed upon. Right now, there was a more pressing matter than the problems of their marriage engagement.
