AN: Gotta say, I loved people's reaction to 'proud pappa' AFO. That was what I was going for as one of the man's core character traits from the origin of AFO and OFA was he genuinely did love his family, he just wasn't the best at showing that/balancing that with his own ambitions. I figured the whole 'destined rivalry with passed down quirk' thing might have made him a bit more cautious about controlling family, that's why he's more observing right now and just expects society to react to their quirks and push them to 'villainy'.

The Four Sons
Chapter 4
-Izuku-
"Well, looks like our class is that way." Izuku adjusted his bag where it was slung over his shoulder, "Wanna meet up with us at lunch Fuyumi?"
"Sounds great." Fuyumi smiled happily as Denki and Ochako voiced their own eagerness for the idea, "I'll see you then!" Fuyumi waved as she went down the hall towards the General Studies wing, having met up with them at the train station so the four could walk to school together.
"Don't be sad Izuku, lunch will be around soon enough." Denki game a dramatic mock sniff as he gripped Izuku's shoulders tight, "You just need to stay strong till then!"
"You and your lady love will be reunited soon!" Ochako joined Denki in teasing him for his totally not a crush as he felt his face turn bright red.
"Red and white, they match now!" Denki cackled, the two having enjoyed teasing him ever since he introduced Fuyumi at the party.
"Assholes, the both of you." Izuku grumbled as they walked down the hall to the Hero course Homerooms, finding room 1-A easily enough. And they could already hear an argument going on inside the classroom.
"Well, time to face the fire." Denki shrugged, opening the door where they could see a loud blond guy who felt familiar to Izuku arguing with a tall student wearing glasses.
"Take your feet off of that desk this instant!" the guy in glasses tried ordering the blond around, arm chopping robotically at the air, "It is highly disrespectful both to those who built it and those who have used this desk before us!"
"Ugh, you're such a stuck up prick!" the blond growled, palms popping with little explosions, "What middle school did you come from jackass?!"
"I am Ida Tenya from Somei Junior High!" the boy with the glasses, Tenya, declared proudly.
"Somei huh?!" the blond's eyes were best described as wild now "Just another elitist snob! I'm gonna enjoy destroying you!" Deciding to ignore the argument for now as he honestly felt butting in might make things worse, Izuku looked about at the others in the classroom. The rest of the seats already had a person or bag in them meaning they were the last to arrive.
"Ah, you must be the last of our class!" a tall girl with black hair approached with an enthusiastic smile, "I'm Momo Yaoyorozu!"
"Denki Kaminari." Denki gave a little wave with a couple fingers, his grin lazy.
"I'm Ochaco Ururaka." Ochaco smiled warmly at the girl greeting them, "I'm also sadly the braincell for these two morons so I'd appreciate any help in keeping them from misbehaving."
"We're not five anymore Chaco." Izuku rolled his eyes dramatically at his mochi loving friend as she blew a raspberry at him, "I'm Izuku Midoriya." he was about to shake Yaoyorozu's hand when a much louder explosion came from the blond.
"Fucking DEKU?!" the blond's red eyes were lit up with rage as Izuku blinked confusion.
"Uh…do I know you?" He asked, honestly wondering if the blond looking familiar was more than just him seeing him in passing before. Asking that was also apparently the wrong thing to say as the angry blond started snarling.
"Im Katsuki fucking Bakugo." The blonds hands were alight with explosions filling his palms, "Are you telling me you don't remember me you shitting fucking nerd?!"
"You sound familiar but that's about it." Izuku shrugged, not worried about the blond. That only served to piss of the volatile Pomeranian further.
"Don't look down on me!" Bakugo roared, palms crackling louder.
"Look, it's not me looking down on you. I just know I literally don't have to worry about you right now." Izuku shook his head "I have a strong quirk. My friends will back me up if you tried anything and they have strong quirks. It's quite likely that the rest our class wouldn't let you just attack someone and most if not all of them doubtlessly have strong quirks. Then there's the fact that our teacher just walked in, and he already looks done with all of this." At that, everyone who hadn't already noticed the tired scruffy looking man snapped their heads towards the door.
"At least some of you are observant." The man sighed as he stood in front of the blackboard, "But your classmate is correct. My name is Shota Aizawa, also known as the Underground Hero Eraserhead. Assuming you don't get expelled, then I'll be your homeroom teacher this year."
"Um…sir?" a talking school uniform asked nervously, the voice implying an invisible girl "Why do you bring up expulsion like it's so likely?"
"Because, miss Hagakure." The man's eyes glowed red, hair rising ominously "Not only is UA the top school in the countries for heroes, Heroism itself is a dangerous job. If I feel you don't have what it takes or that you aren't taking this seriously then I will do everything in my power to see you removed from the Hero Track. I'd rather your dreams be crushed than have to bury you." The blunt answer was both mollifying and chilling. Even the volatile Bakugo was deadly silent at the proclamation. Point of fact the only one making any sounds was the blubbering from a short kid with purple balls for hair.
"For now though, I need to assess your quirks." Aizawa continued, unphased by the tone he'd left the room in.
"But…but what about orientation sir?!" Tenya asked, arm chopping at the air once again.
"Tenya, indoor voice and stop that arm chopping before you clip a classmate in the head." Aizawa gave a pointed look at the rapidly moving arm till Tenya nervously stopped, "Secondly, the orientation is a waste of time for the Hero course when we could actually be training. In each of your desks you'll find a packet which contains both the syllabus for the year and a summarization for what's being explained at the orientation. Both the school rules and the facilities you have access to as students. You are to look through that on your own time. For now, take the gym clothes in your desks along with the map attached. Get changed and meet me at field three. GO!"
Gathered out on training field three, Izuku looked around at his fellow classmates. Some were still on edge after Aizawa's declaration earlier, others were extremely focused. One guy with white and red hair that he was positive was Fuyumi's twin was in the latter category.
"Alright you lot," Aizawa stepped out with a clipboard and a few other devices on his belt, "We'll be spending the next couple hours running through a fitness test. You all did these eight tests back in your middle schools, but now we'll be doing them with your quirks. I want you to push yourself, your abilities, and your creative thinking to its limits. This isn't a game, so I don't want to see you slacking off or playing around." The mans gaze went from person to person before he made his choice "Bakugo, Kaminari. To the starting line over there. You'll be doing the fifty-meter sprint with your quirks."
"Tch, easy." Bakugo sneered cockily as the two blonds, only one likeable so far, took the starting line.
"On my mark, go!" Aizawa ordered as the two shot off. Bakugo was propelling himself with explosions while Denki, having already had his current up and going, became a blur.
Bakugo ended up crossing the finish line after four point thirteen seconds. It only took Denki one point eight. Izuku didn't have proof, but he was positive it was only the stern glare from their teacher that kept Bakugo from doing more than cursing.
The pattern continued as either Izuku, Denki, or Ochako took first in nearly every one of the tests.
Grip Strength? A fist of stone controlled by Izuku turned the metal device into scrap.
Standing Long Jump? All three of them cleared the sand easily, Denki leaping while Izuku and Ochaco flew thanks to their quirks.
Repeated side steps? The short guy with purple balls for hair actually took the first for this one.
Ball throw? Nobody came close to topping Ururaka's score of infinity.
Seated toe touch? Best one here was a pink skinned flexible girl named Mina Ashido.
Sit ups? It ended up being a contest between Izuku, Todoroki, and an enraged Bakugo who refused to give up until Aizawa ordered them to stop so they could move on to the last test.
Distance Run? Izuku tied first here with Yaoyorozu, Denki and Tenya eventually tiring out on the run given they had to run under their own power.
"Alright, here are the overall results." Aizawa cast the results on a nearby board for them to see the top results. Izuku had first place followed by Denki, then Ochaco, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, and Bakugo ending up in sixth place.
"Way to go man!" Denki grinned, slinging an arm around Izuku's shoulders while Ochaco fist pumped at seeing herself in the top three.
"Check your emails later as there will be a more detailed breakdown of your scores from each test, where you can improve, and any critiques I have." Aizawa sighed, sounding extremely tired "For now I'll be using what I saw today to start designing better training exercises and tests for the lot of you. With that you're free to go. You can go to the cafeteria for lunch and use the school facilities or simply leave for the day. The choice is up to you, just don't forget your bags or your packets."
"Let's get changed and go." Izuku stretched with a grin, trying to hide his unease, he'd felt like someone wasn't so much as watching but glaring at him throughout the entire series of tests, "We still need to meet up with Fuyumi for lunch."
