The heroes walked through the forest together. Merida and Rapunzel were riding Angus who easily carried both princesses. Hiccup and Toothless walked as Frost floated a little. The blonde princess couldn't help but get concerned for the boys.

"Are you sure you're okay, guys?" Rapunzel asked. "We can take turns riding Angus."

"I'm a viking, Rapunzel, I'll be fine," Hiccup said. "And if I get tired, Toothless will give me a ride, right bud?"

Toothless made a happy sound, answering Hiccup's question.

"But thank you very much for your concern," Haddock said.

"I've been walking and flying for most of my life," Jack answered. "This is no different for me, but that's much appreciated, Rapunzel."

"Always looking out for you guys," Rapunzel said.

Merida couldn't help but chuckle from their interactions.

"You all think you're so tough," Redhead said. "I love it."

Merida gave Angus a gentle rub on his head, making him smile.

"Angus can only carry so many," Merida said. "We need to make sure he isn't overwhelmed. He's still a sweetheart for carrying us."

Despite barely knowing each other, they all got along so well. It was like these four were destined to unite someday. Toothless and Angus fit right in with this group too. The thing is, they all understood their pains and wants so well, probably better than anyone they already knew. It really was density that united them all.

A dark being watched this happy group from a magical orb. The being was human-like, looking like a tall man. His skin was gray, as if he was an undead person with no warmth in him. He wore all black to add onto his uneasy appearance. Hair as dark as coal and eyes as bright as gold told anyone he's evil. This was none other than the Boogeyman, Pitch Black.

"Seems you've found some new friends, Jack," he said. "You can thank me for bringing you all together."

He held his hand up, creating a small globe out of black sand.

"It took a lot of magic and breaking into restricted areas, but I pulled it off," Pitch said. "I merged the timelines together."

After making the globe vanish, the Boogeyman lended into the orb before making a smile. His smile was of pure evil, anyone unlucky to be nearby would feel disgust, discomfort, or both. His yellow eyes followed the Guardians footsteps like a stalking predator.

"After you and your holiday buddies humiliated me, my hard work turned on me," Pitch said. "I thought I was gonna die but how could I forget: fear will always exist, so I'll always live."

Pitch circled the orb, keeping his attention on the ball. His smile turned into anger, remembering every moment of how the horses harmed him. He greeted his teeth and clenched his fists tightly. Sand emerged from his sand that slowly fell to the floor.

"I have good plans for you all here," Pitch said. "Very good plans for each and every one. And I promise, I'll make it worth all our time."

He blasted the orb with a small amount of sand to get his anger out. The sand fell to show the guardians walking again. Pitch walked into his dark chamber that didn't have a single bit of light, not even a crack. His angry growls were heard in the deep depths of his lair.

Elsewhere, Gothel was sitting on a large log. She decided to take a small break on her journey, her feet hurting a little. Gothel had removed her shoes to let them breathe. She leaned her head back as she exhaled slowly.

"It's a long journey, but it's Rapunzel's birthday," she said out loud. "She gets to decide what she wants."

"Did you hear of the girl who ran off?" a voice came.

That question got Gothel curious, especially since it could be related to Rapunzel. She went over to where it came from, careful not to attract any attention. Gothel hid behind a bush, seeing two men walking together.

"She had long blonde hair and was wearing a pink dress," one said. "It looked like she was going with someone invisible too."

"Must be some crazy girl who's lost from home," the other added.

Hearing that got Gothel worried, very worried actually. Her heart beated faster as sweat began to fall down her head.

"Did Rapunzel leave the tower?!" she asked. "No, she's a good girl, she wouldn't disobey me! But that sounds like her so much, I'm worried she did! No, Rapunzel always stays at the tower like I tell her!"

Gothel couldn't help but pant as her worry grew to higher levels. After putting her shoes on, she ran as fast as she could back to the tower. Her eyes were full of terror and arms waving around. She even tripped on a tree stump, not paying attention to where she was going.

"Rapunzel!" she called.

She made it back to the tower, her whole body covered in sweat. Gothel barely took any time to catch her breath and got close to the tower. She looked up, hoping Rapunzel would be there.

"Rapunzel!" Gothel called. "Let down your hair!"

She didn't hear anything for a few minutes, making her get even more worried. Her eyes grew larger as her jaw dropped fast. She released the basket she was carrying, causing anything in it to fall out.

"Let down your hair!" Gothel called as she pulled her own hair.

Again, no response from the young woman.

"RAPUNZEL!" she yelled. "LET DOWN YOUR HAIR THIS INSTANT!"

Gothel dashed behind the tower before starting to break into the emergency entrance. After removing many rocks, Gothel jumped in, tripping on some rocks she forgot to move. She climbed as fast as she could up the ladder with pure terror in her face. She screamed Rapunzel's name many times through everything she was doing.

She busted open the door before screaming for her, again, no response from her "daughter". She called her name many times over as she searched the tower. Under tables, in closets, behind doors, and of course, in her room. Gothel made a giant mess as she tore the place apart.

"RAPUNZEL WHERE ARE YOU?!" she yelled.

Gothel fell to her knees before she began crying in anger.

"That stupid girl disobeyed me!" she snapped. "If I lose her, I lose my youth! I'll drag her back limbless if it takes me to get my beauty back!"

Gothel found a backpack before shoving anything important into it. Weapons, food, clothing, everything she needed for her trip. She was going fast, so panicked she couldn't think properly. Gothel then climbed down the stairs to the bottom of the tower.

As soon as she reached the outside, she ran as fast as she could through the woods. Some branches hit her with leaves flying at her, but she didn't care. She would step in deep mud, only to keep running. Her face was red from anger and exhaustion.

"That brat will get what she has coming!" she snapped out loud, "She'll see!"

The brunette continued to dash through the woods, sometimes even jumping over a bush. Her attention was so off, she didn't see an upcoming log. Gothel tripped over it before tumbling down a large hill. She rolled fast down the hill as she cried in pain. She hit a few rocks and rolled over holes in the process. Gothel would also fly into the air before landing and rolling back down.

She hit the bottom with a hard 'thud', stopping with a crash. Her dress had received many tears on her way down. Cuts and bruises were over her entire body, a small amount of blood leaving her skin. Her hair also got messy with sticks and grass in it.

"Just you wait, Rapunzel!" she snapped. "I'll find you sooner or later!"

Gothel stood up, not caring about her well being. She started running, hurting herself just to move. Despite that, Gothel chose to keep moving as fast as she could.

"Painful, isn't it?" a voice came.

"Who the hell said that?!" Gothel snapped as she searched the area around herself.

A dark shadow emerged from the trees, catching her attention. The shadow was Pitch Black who walked to her, greeting Gothel with a grin. His appearance gave Gothel a bad feeling, making her growl.

"Mother Gothel," he said. "Pleased to meet you."

"Who the hell are you and what do you want?!" she asked with a snap. "How do you know my name too?!"

"Easy now," he said. "I'm not here to fight you."

"Don't give me that crap!" Gothel said before drawing a dagger. "Get out of my way!"

"Put the weapon down," he said. "You might poke your eye out."

"Shut up!" she yelled.

She ran over, only to get back handed by Pitch. Gothel was sent to the ground, dropping her dagger in the process. Before she could get up, Pitch touched her head.

"Easy now," he said. "Take a deep breath and settle down."

He used his magic to calm her down slowly. Bit by bit, Gothel's breathing eased as she relaxed her body. It took a minute, but she settled down before Pitch released her.

"There you go," he said before stepping back. "Now, let's talk."

Pitch formed two chairs made out of black sand. He offered her a side which she accepted. After Gothel was seated, Pitch sat down himself.

"Okay, what's going on and how do you know my name?" she asked.

"My name is Pitch Black," he introduced. "But you probably know me as the Boogeyman."

"The Boogeyman?!" she asked with a surprised tone. "You're real?!"

"Yes, I am very real," he answered. "I knew you'd be a believer in me with how you love scaring people. You believe in magic and powerful beings as well."

"If you're here to scare me, you aren't doing a good job at it," Gothel said.

"Ah, but that's not why I'm here," Pitch said. "I'm here to form an alliance."

"I'll hear what you have to say," she said, listening closely to him.

"You and I are both after some spoiled brats," he said. "In fact, they've joined forces with a couple other brats."

"You mean Rapunzel?" Gothel asked. "Prove it."

Pitch summoned a magic orb before showing Gothel the Guardians together. She growled when seeing the long haired princess, her nails going into her skin as she held her fists.

"Unfortunately this orb can only show me them, not their location," he said. "But if we work together, we can not only find them, but bring them down."

"What's in it for me?" she asked.

"You keep Rapunzel to yourself as we rule the world," he said. "I plan to cloak the world with fear and someone like you would be great service."

"Eternal youth and world domination?" she asked as she rubbed her chin, forming a smirk. "Sounds like my kind of plan."

Gothel stood from her chair before holding her hand out to him.

"I'm in," she said.

"Perfect!" Pitch was full of delight.

Both shook hands, very happy with this plan.

"There's just a quick stop we need to make first!" Pitch told.

Scene changes to middle of a forest

Pitch and Gothel were walking in the middle of the woods. Pitch used his powers to get around logs, bushes, and rocks. Gothel needed to step over, duck under, and walk around anything she came across.

"Not fair, Boogeyman!" she snapped.

Pitch only smiled at Gothel's struggle to keep up. Gothel would at times trip on something, making Pitch laugh.

"Ahahah, very funny!" she said in an annoyed tone.

He stopped before waiting for Gothel to catch up.

"So, why did you drag me all the way out here?" she asked.

Pitched held his finger forward, making her look where he was pointing. Gothel's eyes popped up from what was bestowed upon her. She saw Mor'du laying on the ground passed out, very close to where they were.

"I-is that a bear?!" she asked.

"Not just any bear," he answered. "Mor'du."

"But those kinds of bears only exist in Scotland," she said.

"Looks like he had a little trip planned," Pitch replied.

The Boogeyman walked up to the injured bear, seeing all the damage he'd taken.

"Oh, you poor thing," he said in a sarcastically cornered tone. "Those brats were so mean to you."

He covered Mor'du with sand to heal his wounds. The bear popped up before making an angry roar. Gothel fell back, terrified by the beast's size and appearance.

"Now, now," Pitch said. "Let's not fight, we're here to talk."

"That's a bear you moron!" Gothel snapped. "How are you going to reason with it?!"

"Just watch," he said to answer her.

Mor'du threw his claw, but Pitch avoided it with a Matrix-style dodge. After standing back up, the Boogeyman used his sand to grab the bear's upper legs. Despite the size difference, Pitch was able to match Mor'du.

"Relax now," he said. "We're not your enemies."

Gothel had hidden behind a tree, watching them battle from a distance. Mor'du leaned down before roaring in Pitch's face. He smirked, even with the high volume and saliva flying at his face. Black stood there and kept smiling at Mor'du as he roared.

Mor'du broke free from the sand before trying to bite Pitch. He avoided the fangs, one bite after another. Pitch then disappeared and reappeared a few feet behind Mor'du. He formed a bow and arrow made out of sand before shooting the beast. Mor'du roared in pain before being sent to a tree from impact.

"That power," Gothel said as she watched. "He's not even trying to kill it, yet he's matching that thing!"

Before Mor'du could turn around, Pitch landed on his shoulders. He was about to grab Pitch, only for the Boogeyman to touch his head with both hands. He used his magic to relax Mor'du, calming the bear down. Mor'du lost balance before falling to the ground.

"That's a lot better," Pitch said.

Gothel stood in shock, amazed by what she had witnessed.

"I'm with him," she said while pointing at Pitch.

With the bear now relaxed, Pitch told Gothel to come over. Despite being near a giant, Gothel felt very safe with Pitch by her side. She came over before they stood in front of Mor'du.

"Ready to listen?" Pitch asked.

Seeing he wasn't in a state to fight back, Mor'du nodded.

"Good," Pitch said. "Very good."

"You speak bear?" Gothel asked.

"That's the thing," he said. "This beast wasn't always a bear, he was once a great man."

Mor'du looked at Pitch with a confused expression as if he was asking 'How did you know that?'

"You see, Mor'du, I've studied you for a long time," he told. "I know you were a fighter who wanted power. You were already strong, but you wanted power beyond what you already had. So many stood in front of you, preventing you from achieving even greater feats. You worked so very hard and got so far, only to be cursed with the appearance of a monster. That doesn't seem fair, don't you agree?"

Mor'du nodded, as he made another angry growl.

"Hard work should NEVER be put to waste!" Pitch said. "I also know you're angry at a group of kiddos who beat you up with their pets!"

That comment made the bear grit his teeth to show his anger.

"Here's my deal," he started. "Join us and we can not only help you get back at them, but you'll be a greater King than you've ever been! What do you think, King Mor'du?"

The bear stood up, towering over Pitch and Gothel. He held out his paw as if he was trying to shake hands/paws. Pitch returned his hand, both shaking slowly. Pitch's evil smirk couldn't have been wider, his eyes full of pride.

"This is perfect!" Pitch said. "With Gothel's wits, your strength, and my power, the world is our's!"

Mor'du made a sound, trying to say he was happy to join.

"Hey, teddy bear," Gothel said.

Mor'du glared at her, angry from that comment.

"Mind showing me some of your strength?" she asked.

He answered by throwing his claw at her, but she dodged it. He didn't see some mud close to him which he stepped on. Mor'du slipped on the mud before falling to the ground, making a loud crash. She stood next to his head, smirking at his anger.

"Now you know I have wits," she told.

Seeing she was right, the giant bear chuckled. He stood up before wiping the mud off his foot with the grass.

"I know, we're powerful, but I know someone that can help us!" Pitch said.

"And who would that be?" Gothel asked.

"Let's say it's a beast that not even the viking's pet can match!" Pitch answered. "But they can wait, we have work to do."

Mor'du got on all fours before the three walked off. All of them made arrogant smirks, loving this alliance. They knew the three of them could achieve their goals together, in fact, no one stood in their way. The only ones were the Guardians: Their main targets of extermination.
