FULL TITLE OF CH IS Uraraka Is Nice Compared To Others—Scary Though

I wrote this in 2019. Only just now I added a few more lines and decided to post this ch and just mark this story as complete. I fell out of this fandom years ago so Idk I'll ever make more for this. Besides, I never wrote down any notes for this (for some reason) so idk what the others were even supposed to be. Might just do another ch since I did note down that Shoto is a vamp.

Uraraka is a black blob looking harpy with too many eyes. 9 in total. They are red. She is greedy, eyes give off light and she is nice compared to others but can be very mean and determined.

Todoroki is a vampire.

One of the nicest friends Midoriya has is Uraraka. Uraraka is this...black blob of a silhouette. She looks like an unidentified entity most of the time, but when she decides to spread out (whether that is to appear bigger to scare off predators or to fly) she appears to be harpy shaped. If that makes any sense.

At least, she would look like a harpy if her head wasn't so disproportionately large to the rest of her body. Though, Shinso would have to guess that's because she has to compensate for her many eyes somehow. Or, at least, that's what the wizard would like to think if it wasn't for the itsy bitsy fact that she only housed 3 eyes on her head. Her other 6 were prepped on her person. Always changing places like how she'll seemingly change shape. Again, she was kinda a blob of a silhouette after all.

But again, Uraraka was a nice person. Thing. Monster. Whatever.

She was scary too. No mouth (and he's never seen her eat, he wonders if she even needs solids to survive) and no voice. She doesn't talk. Doesn't produce sound. Doesn't even talk through one's mind like some of his other friends do. But more so, she puts an idea in your head. A feeling. Knowledge about something you never knew before. That's how she 'talks', that's how she 'communicates'.

It was rather queer, but unique.

Much like herself.

Her eyes were red and gave off lights. In a very literally sense. In the dark Shinso would sometimes (if he can get away with it) have her fly behind him so he would have no need for a lantern nor fire cantrip to see the way. (Though her eyes gave off yellow light and he could never figure out why that color.) She had at least one eye open at a time when the others would blink at random intervals. Ensuring that all of them would have an opportunity to blink while never not being able to see what was in front of her. It was also a perk for himself. That way, he may have a source of light that would vary in brightness and area of ground it shone over, but there would still be some light at all times. Which is especially nice when traversing the gnarly forest floor. That of which was covered in tree stumps and roots, mossy rocks and bones or animals. Among other things. It wasn't the most favorable places to be walking in at night.

He did find himself doing just that often despite the fact.

Going on to another thing. She is nice, nice compared to the others. His friends are monsters, demons, spirits of the sort. Creatures of rot, of light, of fae, of places in between the mortal realms and therefore beyond his comprehension. They can be…a bit much, to put it lightly. It's always walking on eggshells with the others. Especially if Midoriya isn't there. With Uraraka tho, she was 'chatty', always putting ideas and feelings in his head.

She would make it known how she was feeling at all times, so it was easier to avoid getting on her bad side, easier to learn her likes and dislikes.

And when he wanted peace and quiet she too knew how to sit and keep watch, letting his mind rest from the bombardment of her ideas.
