The Flames of Eternity

Both Peerages stared down at the 3 Dragonmancers alongside Asia, who was having problems understanding everything that was going on at the moment.

"Everyone, wait, there's no need for us to do this!" - Yukio yelled as he put himself in between both groups, yet none of them lowered their guard when this happened.

"Yukio, everything will be forgiven if you and Asia come here at this instant. And you…" - Sona turned her eyes to Kai'Sa - "How lucky it was that I decided to delay my trip for a day. You're the one who seeked out Asia and Yukio in the first place right?" -

"Well done, Sitri, you managed to figure it out. Guess the Devils in this time aren't as stupid as the ones that Lagoon told me about" - the Dragonmancer spoke in a defiant tone - "Still, I recommend you and tomato hair over there to leave this place at once. Our Realm was never meant for you" -

Sona tried to speak again, but was interrupted by a shot from Rias' Destruction Power, which just barely missed Kai'Sa - "That was a warning shot. If Asia and Yukio don't return right now, the next one won't miss" -

"Oh, don't worry about missing your next shot" - Kai'Sa's body soon became surrounded by water, as the shape of the Lagoon Dragon formed behind her - "You won't even get to do it" -

However, before she could do anything, Yukio intercepted her and pushed her back. He was channeling the power of the Dream Dragon to fight her. Kai'Sa simply looked at him with a confused look.

"What are you hoping to accomplish with that Yukio?" - she asked as the water around her began to increase in volume - "We're both Dragonmancers, but you'd be making a huge mistake in thinking we are at the same level" -

"I don't care. I won't allow you to hurt them" - he answered simply, preparing himself to fight.

"You would side with them over your own race. How sad" -

With that, the girl fired a water projectile straight at the boy, hitting him in the stomach and pushing him back as he held that part in pain.

"Dreams, can you make your host understand?" -

"My patience isn't eternal Kai'Sa" - Volibear gained the attention of the girl - "Either you drive the Devils off our sacred grounds, or I'll unleash the rage of the storm upon them" -

"There will be no need for that, I can do this on my own" -

Kai'Sa turned around to face both Peerages surrounding her, as Koneko silently moved to secure Asia and return with Rias and the rest. Their intent was to buy enough time for both girls to escape, after which they would abandon that world. But, as soon as Koneko reached Asia, the Rook felt something weird in her.

Upon touch, Asia's body felt like fire, it burned Koneko's hands. She looked at the wound, seeing how the small bits of flame weren't the usual orange color, but rather purple. Kai'Sa soon gained notice of that, and realization was quick to set in.

"Volibear! She's losing control!" - with a single shout, the Dragonmancer of the Duality Dragon understood. With a mighty roar, Volibear called a storm upon Asia, with the intent to knock her out, but it came just a second too late.

Just as the lightning struck the girl, a massive explosion of purple flames occurred, shaking the Realm of the Ancient Dragons to its core and showing Volibear and Kai'Sa a power they wished they would never see again. The destructive might of the Eternal Dragon.

In a moment of weakness over the situation, Asia's sleeping powers took over her, and the Eternal Dragon was born through her once more, or at least, a part of it was. Its purple flames soon began to consume the forest around them, with Kai'Sa rushing to stop it with her powers.

In the air, Asia floated. Her blonde hair had half of it turned to a violet color, while her eyes burned like fire. The Eternal Dragon's powers could be used to save others and bring life to dying worlds, but out of control, it was nothing but a tool of death, decay and destruction.

Despite never laying eyes on the Eternal Dragon before, Yukio knew from the moment he saw Asia that she needed to be stopped. With Trickster's Fantasy, he played a melody to calm Asia, hopefully putting her to sleep and ending her rampage. The music calmed her down, but it wasn't enough to stop her, only slow her down.

As the girl descended from the sky, Volibear looked from above before calling down a storm around them, preventing her from escaping and spreading her flames more. Yukio looked behind him, shocked to see that only he and Issei had been left inside the barrier, the rest were locked outside.

"Wait, this is…!" - Issei said before turning to look at Asia, who descended until she landed in front of the two, the purple fire of the Eternal Dragon flowing through her entire body.

"Issei, don't worry about us!" - Rias yelled through the barrier - "We'll stop the flames from burning this place down, you and Yukio need to focus on Asia!" -

"Yukio" - Sona got the attention of her Pawn, who turned to face her - "I trust in you" -

Both Pawns turned to each other and nodded before returning to Asia. The girl with a scream launched a torrent of flames against the two, who dodged the attack before beginning their own offensive.

Issei went in first, using his Boosts to power himself up and launch a barrage of punches straight to Asia, but the girl moved out of the way at the last second and countered with a blast of flames, sending Issei flying a few meters away.

Yukio followed soon, attacking the girl from behind but his attack missed when she stepped out of the way and countered with a devastating eruption from below his feet. As she tried going for a second burst, a Dragon Shot from Issei distracted her and allowed Yukio to recover from the attack and slash at Asia's back using his claw-like hand before kicking her towards Rias' Pawn.

Issei prepared a second attack, but he hesitated. He didn't want to hurt Asia, even when she was in this state, and that moment of weakness was enough for the girl to reposition with a jump, landing away from the two and giving her time to recover the damage that they managed to cause her.

"Partner, listen to me. I know your feelings for her, but you can't let them get in the way of your objective" - Ddraig's voice came out of the Boosted Gear - "If we don't stop her, she'll continue destroying this world!" -

Issei closed his eyes for a moment. He let out a sigh, and then opened them again. He was ready to do what he had to do.
