Giovanni has done it, and with the help of his organization and of the others it was an easy task. Ash stood no chance as he didn't know what was coming and the vast number of them that took him down. Officers came to attempt to put them all to justice, but it was futile. And with everything taken care of, Giovanni can work with the others in helping create whatever world they want from another universe, while he took over this one. He was so fortunate that he was able to get his hands on Celebi and Palkia and control them to make this all possible. The only downside is the pikachu they captured after the attack wasn't that useful after killing him, as it was too heartbroken after his former trainer died. Pikachu thus died a week after it's trainer, so Giovanni didn't have to deal with it anymore.

On the day of the murder:

It was a nice day in Lillicove City. There, May had just won her final ribbon and has another chance to get a cup. However, after hearing what happened on the breaking news that was on in the contest hall, May had nothing to be happy about. May starred at the tv clutching the half ribbon by her heart with tears pouring from her eyes.

May's pokemon were out of their pokeballs, being there for their trainer with the news hurting them as well.

It felt like May was in a terrible nightmare, the only difference is she isn't suddenly awoken in a bed or sleeping bag. Her friend Ash, after working so hard and achieving so much, got killed by some lowly, vile, sheefish. Scumbags. She felt so helpless now. Afterall, Ash has survived though a lot of obstacles and took down other powerful villains that she never would image he could get taken down, even with the team leaders teamed up to take him down. His strength, courage, and how he cared for her made her really value him and helped her move her forward. May never forgot about him after all the time apart of them focusing on their goals. But now that Ash is gone, May is filled with regret and hopelessness.

"May, don't fall into despair. I need you to stay strong to help me take those who killed me down…"

May recognized that voice. Even if she didn't interact much with Ash after they went separate ways, she'd recognize his voice anywhere. She turned around and to her surprise, she saw him with his pikachu. He was wearing different clothing than what was shown on the news, but other than that, it looked like him. "A-Ash?! Am I… seeing things? Are you a… ghost?"

"No May. It's really me!"

"But you… it was said that you got ambushed and killed! How are you here?"

People around the contest hall where gasping and freaking out over the sight of Ash, being the news was showing his face with the headlined that he was murdered.

Ash looked down with a troubled look. "Let's go sit somewhere. There's a lot to explain…"

"Alright…"

Ash took May to an expensive restaurant and sat down across from each other. "Order what you want. My treat."

May beamed. "Okay, thanks!" Then she gave him a serious look. "So… just what is going on?"

Ash gave a worried look. "It all happened so fast… Maxie with Team Magma, went to work expanding land. And I was… hunted down by villains I thought I took care of. Heck, the last time I heard, Archie and Maxie, along with their followers were supposed to have life in prison…"

It was true. When those two organizations were caught, they were told they should never have the opportunity to do what they did again. However, "But… when was Maxie expanding the land? I never heard anything about that…"

Ash gave a nervous laugh with a hand behind his head. "Oh right. I guess I should've first explained that I was brought here by Arceus from another dimension…"

May gasped. "What?!"

"I guess this is pretty serious. It told me telepathically that Team Rainbow… I guess what they all agreed to refer to themselves, is messing around with dimensions and with its child and needs to be stopped."

"It's… child?"

"Palkia… The leader of Team Rocket apparently got their hands on it and are using it to take over other dimensions and do what they want there with the help of the other teams I've taken care of."

"Oh…" May was surprised to hear that Palkia was Arceus's child. She didn't really see much resemblance.

A waiter came and took their order, and they ordered a lot of items from the menu. After they were done, he wondered how he'd get it all out to them as he left.

Ash gave a serious look. "Team Rainbow… a bunch of their grunts were searching for me to kill me in my dimension before Arceus took me here. But…" Ash smiled. "Arceus took me here to meet up with other Ash's from other dimensions and take team rainbow down!"

May looked at him with a confused look. "But… then shouldn't you be looking for the other Ashs instead of hanging out with me?"

Ash looked away with a bashful look. "I thought… I really could use your help with taking them down."

May gave a surprised look. "What… do you mean?"

Ash looked at May intently. "I've seen you really grow when we traveled together! And when seeing you in contest! And…" He looked away with a bashful look. "I miss working together… with you."

May gave Ash a surprised look. She too felt that way for a long time.

Ash looked at May with an awkward smile. "I just… feel like I could easily take Team Rainbow down with you by my side! Like felt I could do anything traveling with you…"

May blushed. "R-really?"

Ash looked away. "Though, I guess… Sorry." Ash stood up.

May gave a confused look. "Ash…? What's wrong?"

"I know, you're probably busy with contests… and I shouldn't get you involved in what's my reasonability…"

May stood up with a serious look. "Ash, I'm not letting you do something crazy like stopping Team Rainbow without me!"

Ash gave a confused look. "Hey, don't worry! It's not like I'm doing this by myself… Well, I kinda am, but not really…" Ash then looked away with a pained look. "And I couldn't keep you away from Drew…"

May gave a surprised look.

"I know, you… love him. I'm just happy… to be able to see you again, after so long…"

May slammed her hands down on the table. "When did I say I love Drew?"

Ash gave a dumbfounded look. "Well, the May I know married Drew last year and is expecting…"

May gave a shocked look.

"S-sorry, I guess things here aren't exactly like how I known…" Ash sat back down with an uncomfortable laugh.

May thought back to one time Drew asked her out. He brought her out to a cliff overlooking the ocean, brought a bouquet of roses, and confessed his feelings for her. However, May was conflicted on her feelings. She liked hanging out with Drew and thinks he's a great guy, but she often thinks about Ash way more than she ever does of Drew.

"…May?"

May looked over to Ash. "Huh?"

"I was just saying… it seems the food is taking a while."

May sat down and laughed. "Well, you practically ordered off the whole menu. It's understandable that all that is going to take a while to get here."

Ash crossed his arms. "Hey, it's not like you ordered any less. In fact, you probably ordered way more than I did!"

May shrugged. "Well, you did say to order what I wanted…"

Ash laughed. "Yeah, you got me there…"

Waiters finally came around the table full of carts of food.

Ash and May dug in their food and ordered dessert. After finished eating, they both sighed of contentment of filling their bellies.

"So… why doesn't Arceus just take care of Team Rainbow?" May asked.

Ash gave a serious look. "It seems like the leader of team rocket got their hands on a Silph Corporation ball. It's called the Master Ball, and its able to capture any pokemon without fail."

May gave a surprised look.

"Sadly, Arceus being a pokemon is unable to stop them…"

"I see…"

"Well, I should stop wasting time and…"

May got up. "We should start looking for the other yous."

Ash beamed. "Sounds like a plan! Thanks, May!"

"Don't mention it! Afterall, what are friends for?"

Ash laughed. "You're the best, May!"

May looked away with a blush. "Well, I should get out of my contest outfit, we can start the search then."

"Alright!" Ash went to pay for the meal.

"E-excuse me…" the cashier said with a look like he's seen a ghost.

Ash gave him a confused look. "Yes?"

"Well, it's just that… I just thought I heard that you died on the news… Was that all fake?"

Ash and May looked at each other with unsure look and made him believe that he wasn't Ash and gotten mistaken for him a lot. They sighed of relief. Then May went to change into her regular clothes.

As they left, May looked over at Ash with a concerned look. "So, the Ash from our world… is there any way to bring him back to life?"

Ash gave a serious look. "… There has to be… After all, a bunch of mes can be here to stop some villains taken over our worlds… There's got to be a way to revive this world's Ash." He looked over at May and put a hand on her shoulder. "And we'll find a way to do it."

May smiled and nodded. While this Ash is from a different universe, he still seems like the Ash she knows for the most part. She was glad about that. Ash always made her feel like anything is possible and did whatever it took to keep her happy and safe.

AN: Gahh I have so many stories I need to finish, I know! But this idea came to me, and I just had to! team rainbow... ridiculous I know, but it's supposed to be a reference to USUM team rainbow rocket, as the idea of getting them altogether came from that. I just didn't want to go with that, as I doubt all the other team leaders & followers would be willing to go with him forcing them to go under their team's name. So, I'll probably change that later when I figure out a better name.

Hopefully you can see what's going on now, as I like to hear your thoughts on some things for later in the fic. See, Alola has three main characters that are girls, and I like them ALL with Ash XD What of the three girls (Lana, Lillie, Mallow) would you like end with Ash? Or should an Ash be luckier than the others? And I don't know about JN for now. AshxChloe seems too random to me, don't necessarily hate it though... I'm fine with doing AshxGoh too. Afterall, an AU ash could grow to like men/both. anyways, hope you all enjoy :)
