We now come back to the group in Hoshido, who were still escorting the people back into their homes.
"Geez, can't believe my horoscope predicted something like this!" Orochi said with her hands at her hips. "I mean, two worlds fusing together? That's unheard of!"
"Yeah, soooo crazy." Mitama yawned. "Can I go back to bed now?"
Orochi shook her head. "We can't now Mitama! Everyone's worried, so we've gotta calm everyone down."
"Hey, quick slacking now you too." Azama said with a smile, as usual. "A holy man can't do all this work by himself."
"Yeah yeah." Orochi playfully rolled her eyes as she followed after her husband.
"Yup! Just keep loving this way! Everything's all good." Hinata said as he continued giving the citizens of Hoshido directions, with a solid amount of the citizens still walking around the streets out of curiosity.
Hana put her hands at her hips. "Think we'll get clarification from Lord Ryoma soon?"
"We should be." Caeldori answered. "Given the situation at hand. And—"
Then the scream came, the hellish call.
The entire group turned in multiple directions.
"What was that?" Subaki held his spear tightly with one hand, while gripping the ropes of his Pegasus' saddle with the other hand.
Azama took out a healing rod. "My, that sounded terrible. What sort of thing would make a noise like that?"
The Hoshidan citizens began shaking in fear.
"What was that?" A young man asked. "Are we under attack?!"
"Are my children endangered?!" Asked a mother in a yukata, with her young children in front of her. Putting both of her hands on their shoulders.
That's when an elderly woman grabbed Hisame, as they brought his face down to hers.
"Young man! Are we in a danger?!" She yelled in fear. "I have peaches at home and I can't let them be harmed."
A sweat dropped came on Hisame's face, as he hadn't expected the woman to get right in his face.
"I-I'm sorry ma'am, but I do not know." Hisame closed his eyes.
Caeldori had floated slightly into the air, spotting out into the sky with her eyes.
She saw the huge black in the sky, as her eyes widened.
She immediately came down and jumped off of her Pegasus, taking out her spear.
"Caeldori, what is it?" Subaki asked her daughter.
But Caeldori didn't have time to explain, as some pitch black creatures already started landing on the ground.
The demons had already began swarming through the skies and the streets.
The demons let out snarls, and some of them even screamed out roses. The monsters terrified the citizens, causing them to run around everywhere in the chaos.
"What the hell are these things?!" Hinata exclaimed as he could feel a tiny bit of fear creeping up his back.
Hana stepped forward and grabbed her sheathed katana. "It doesn't matter!" She unsheathed the blade. "We have to protect the people!"
Hinata drew his own katana as both he and his wife ran forward towards the demons, unaware of what they truly were.
Hisame took out his blade, following after both of his parents on combatting these invading monsters.
Both Subaki and Caeldori charged forward on their Pegasus', holding their lances at a position by the side of their horses.
Caeldori thrusted the spear at one of the larger demons.
But as soon as the weapon collided with the pitch black creature's head, it shattered.
The green haired Pegasus knight's mouth was wide open, as she looked at the handle of her broken lance.
She looked at the demon again, who let out a laugh. In a flash, the monster grabbed Caeldori's Pegasus before she had a chance to react.
He winded back his arm and threw her and the winged horse towards a building, causing them to crash into the building. Debris exploded from the impact, as Subaki yelled.
"CAELDORI!" He turned his attention back to the demon, giving it a look of fury." "Why you-"
He charged forward himself, he saw the demon raise its arm up in attempt to attack him.
But instead of thrusting the lance towards its head he instead countered the beast's attack with it, stopped the claw attack.
The monster snarled, as it was doing everything it could to get past Subaki's lance. Subaki was struggling to hold back the demon, it's strength was unlike anything else he had seen before.
The perfect Pegasus knight thought that he could counter it no longer, but he was saved by an arrow that flew past his head and hit the demon in the eye.
"AUGH!!" It cried in pain as it stepped back and grabbed it's eye.
Subaki turned around, as a young woman with short green hair that covered one of her eyes was looking at him with perched lips, and a bow in her hands.
It was Setsuna, another soldier of the Hoshidan army and retainer to Princess Hinoka.
She gave a small wave to her husband. "Hey."
"Setsuna!" Subaki sighed. "About time you arrived."
The archer shrugged, as she looked around at the demons attacking. "What's going on?"
"We're being attacked by these strange creatures." The Pegasus knight stated, as he turned to one the buildings. "Caeldori!"
The debris from the impact had cleared up, Caeldori was crushed under rubble. While her Pegasus was crushing her with the rubble.
She was trying desperately to pull herself out of the rubble.
"Hey…girl…" Caeldori put a hand on her Pegasus. "Could you e on…"
She tried to move her Pegasus, but couldn't do it so we'll do to her lying on her stomach.
"Alright, it's…okay." Caeldori said, before she opened her eyes again.
She saw a bunch of small demons with pitchforks, all of them staring at her.
One of them's mouth opened up, as a long tongue came out and it looked it's lips.
"Yummy…" He said, as saliva started escaping his mouth. With the other small ones coming towards her slowly.
Caeldori's eyes widened. "No…no don't! Get away from me!! Go!!"
That's when the Pegasus knight went into panic, rapidly moving her arms around and screaming.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" She screamed. "GET HER OFF OF ME!!! GET HER OFF!"
Just as one of the small demons was about to stick it's pitchfork into Caeldori's arm, a white and slightly larger fox dashed towards them at attacked it.
The fox had some blue flames and nine tails, being joined by another fox in attacking them.
The white foxes went up into a smoke bomb, revealing two people woth fox tails and fox ears.
"Don't worry Caeldori! Everything's all fine!" Grinned a teenage fox girl with yellow hair and a strand of red hair.
This is Selkie, one of the princesses of the Hoshidan royal family.
The other one wore a dark blue gi.
"Everything's under control now that I'm here!" He grinned.
Kaden, a member of the Kitsune and husband of Princess Hinoka.
Selkie already started moving some of the rubble out of the way, trying to get Caeldori out of the rocks.
Then another demon tried attacking Selkie, as the fox girl barely dodged the attack.
It was a demon with blade shaped hands and a metal face, as it growled at her.
Setsuna and Subaki ran behind her as Setsuna drew an arrow and fired at the demon, only to have it sliced into two.
"I've got this!" Selkie ran forward and transformed into a nine tailed fox, jumping up towards the blade handed beast
It slashed an arm horizontally, with Selkie grabbing onto the blade hand. She proceeded to jump onto it's head and wrap it's tail around it.
The kitsune opened her mouth and dived her head into the demon's head.
But as soon as her teeth made contact with it's head, she felt a sharp pain in her mouth.
"OW!!" Screamed Selkie, but it would only get worse. The metal headed demon managed to free it's jaw from Selkie's tail, as it immediately bit down on her tail.
He turned around and threw Selkie high into the air, as the others looked on in shock.
"SELKIE!" Kaden exclaimed.
As the kitsune was suspended in the air, something flew over to her and caught her just in time. A Pegasus, and its rider being a young adult with short red hair and Hoshidan armor.
Princess Hinoka, the eldest princess of Hoshido.
"Hinoka!" Kaden grinned. "Glad you made it in time!"
Hinoka's Pegasus landed on the ground, as the princess put Selkie on the ground. The kitsune reverting back to her regular form.
"What's going on?!" Hinoka asked. "There were attacks at the palace and the next thing I see is these black creatures in the sky."
Setsuna drew an arrow. "Dunno, we're being attacked by these weird things."
The archer shot an arrow at one of the smaller demons, killing it. Before turning her attention to Caeldori.
"Everything's alright, just stay calm." The archer said to her daughter, who shook in fear.
"Th-they were going to….touch…me.."
Setsuna bit her lip. "Yeah, I know." She looked up to her husband. "Subaki, get Caeldori to a safer area or whatever."
Subaki responded with a nod, picking up Caeldori in his arms and flying away on his Pegasus. Caeldori's own Pegasus following him.
"RRRRRAAAGGGHHH!!" Screamed the metal head demon, raising up its blade arms.
Just as the group was about to attack, a blue glowing dragon blasted right through the creature's chest. Causing it to scream.
Before it fell forward to the ground, as the group looked on in confusion.
There was a red spot on the demon's back, but now there was a big hole through the red spot.
They looked to see where the dragon had come from.
Orochi and Azama stood back to back, with Orochi's cards floating around her hands as they were in a magic casting position. While Azama had his staff.
"Found their weak spot." Orochi said, as it was evident that the dragon spirit came from her. "Hit the red spots!"
Meanwhile in Nohr….
"Oh gods…this is horrible."
Forrest breathed as he looked out the window, at the flying demons and the portals coming out of the sky.
The Prince put his hand to his chest.
"Forrest, what is the status on the attacking monsters?" Siegbert asked his cousin, as the boy in pink turned around.
"They're everywhere, all of the people are running. What are those thing?" The two cousins walked away from the window.
Siegbert shook his head. "We don't know yet, but we should hurry. Father is going to make an announcement."
"Everyone!!"
King Xander stood at the throne, with Siegfried in his hands.
"We are unaware of what these creatures are. But we know that they are attacking our home, terrorizing our people. And it is our duty to protect them." The king said as he took Siegfried out of it's sheathe. "I will lead a group outside of the city, and I will have another group protect the castle from the inside. We cannot let these monsters hurt more of our people!"
He raised his sword into the air. "For Nohr!!"
"FOR NOHR!" The other soldiers exclaimed.
But Leo put his hand out.
"Wait brother. I have no objections to this plan, but there is something wrong with a small part." Leo adjusted his collar. "Only dividing it into two groups might not be the best idea, what if we were to do multiple groups?"
Xander put a hand to his chin, giving a nod. "I understand what you're saying Leo, but planning out groups in this small amount of time that we have is unlikely. We don't have much time before the monsters start breaching the castle.
"We already have."
Everyone in the room went silent, a deep and demonic voice spoke. All of the soldiers took out their weapons, scanning the room for possible intruders.
Until Sophie pointed at the ceiling of the throne room. "Um…." She mustered out.
Everyone looked at the ceiling, as a big pitch black creature was hanging from the wall.
It was a large pitch black squid like creature, it had six tentacles under its head and two on top of its head. It had four dark blue eyes and red spikes in between its tentacles.
The monster descended to the floor, attempting to grab soldiers with its tentacles. It grabbed a few soldiers, tossing them towards the walls of the throne room.
Xander was about to give command to attack the squid demon, but Peri was one step ahead of him.
"KILL IT!!!" The queen screamed as she ran forward with a killer lance. "KILL IT WITH SHARP POINTY OBJECTS AND MAKE IT BLEED!!!!"
She began hacking the killer lance at the beast, the creature actually had trouble keeping up with Peri's attacks.
Until he raised up on tentacle, prepared to slam it down. But he was stopped when he felt a sharp pain behind him.
"AAARRGGHH!" The demon screamed, as it turned around.
Siegbert had thrown a javelin at the squid monster, as he quickly made a turn.
"Forrest now!"
Then the creature felt an even worse pain, as a gale of wind blasted threw it.
Cutting off one of its tentacles, as Forrest had his hand out and a wind tome in his other hand. "Aunt Peri now!"
"Yay!!" Peri equaled as she winded up the killer spear before she slammed it right down. Cutting off another tentacle of the squid.
"GAAHHGRR!" The demon started to bleed, specifically in the areas where his tentacles were cut off. "Damn mortals!!"
His eyes went from blue to red, as he looked around the area. Many knights surrounded him, everyone had their weapons ready, there wasn't much he could do.
He glanced at Forrest, who still wielded the wind tome.
Unexpectedly, he shot a tentacle forward and wrapped the tentacle around Forrest. Causing the boy to drop his tome.
"What?!" He yelled as the demon jumped onto the ceiling and quickly ran on it's tentacles.
"Forrest!" Leo exclaimed as he watched his so be taken away, he turned to his wife. "Nyx!"
The witch nodded. "Right!" Nyx jumped right onto Leo's horse, as the horse let out a call and trampled out of the throne room.
Xander pointed Siegfried forward. "Follow my brother!"
"YES SIR!" Most of them charged out of the room.
Mozu picked a spear, as she prepared to follow the rest. But she was stopped by a hand. The village girl's head turned around. "Niles?"
"Let's stay here." The outlaw drew his bow and an arrow. "Those creepy things are already here. Might as well stay back here."
Mozu nodded. "Yeah!"
Ylisse….
"Great! These things again!!"
Yelled Prince Takumi as he fired shot after shit at the attacking demons. He and the rest of the Hoshidan group and the children of Ylisse now battling off the creatures. "Are these like the demons fought earlier?"
Hayato jumped back and took out his fan, shooting Takumi a glance.
"You really think they're demons?" The diviner asked. "I doubt that kid was even telling the truth."
"Ragggh!!"
Hayato quickly turned as a slender dragon like creature slithered towards him, but an arrow shot right through its head. Bringing it dragging against the ground.
Takumi raised an eyebrow. "You were saying?"
"Hah." Said Rhajat as she shot out rat spirits from her hands, making many demons fall back.
"Rhajat! Duck!" Kiragi exclaimed as he pulled back an arrow, the diviner ducked in response. With Kiragi firing an arrow that went above her and hit another demon in its eye.
Saizo threw a shuriken at a blade armed demon, who continued knocking the shurikens away like they were nothing.
The ninja then disappeared, as the demon become confused.
Suddenly, Saizo reappeared behind the monster. Landing right on it's back and pulling out a knife, shoving said knife into the red spot.
The beast let out a cry of pain before dying, as he jumped off and disappeared once again.
"Urgh." Kagero grunted as she was battling a Tongue Prowler, the demon that swallowed her earlier that night.
She had her eyes looking at every direction possible, keeping them peeled for the monster's tongue to prevent being swallowed.
The ninja took out something, a string of wool.
What would she use with that?
She jumped into the air as the beast launched its tail at her, but she disappeared just in time.
The Tongue Prowler looked at its left and right, suddenly feeling something wrap around it's neck.
Kagero stood on it's back and had the wool string wrapped around its neck, pulling back the wool as tight as she could.
The ninja turned around and tugged on hard, as the noise of a break bone was heard. The demon fell to the ground, with Kagero jumping off of it.
The brown haired ninja looked at the string, as she span it around and out it at her belt.
"Quite useful." She said, before a green liquid blasted against her.
She was knocked against a building, the green slime sticking her to it.
"What?!" She exclaimed, turning her head forward to see where the acid spit came from.
A demon with a long neck that pointed down with jester like heads was staring at her. It had a tail on the top of its body and two legs, multiple green tubes attached to its mouth. It's red eyes staring at her.
"Bzzzzzzzz!!" Or let out an insect like call, running towards her.
Kagero pushed her arm forward, attempting to escape from the slime but it was no use.
"Hey! Let go!" She yelled as she continued trying to break free. That's when the ninja realized something, only her arms and torso were covered with the sticky slime.
Her head and legs were completely free, as she bent her legs and brought them up to her hands. Gripping the legs and trying to push forward.
She was able to pull herself out, ascending forward and slamming the slime onto the slime demon's face. Kicking it up into the air afterwards.
Kagero stretched out her legs, bones cracking. "Thank you Queen Mikoto for you early morning yoga sessions."
"Mom! Do you need help?!" Kiragi ran to his mother. "Oh, you've got everything under control."
Kagero nodded. "Yes, I will not allow myself to be caught again."
"We need someone to check inside the castle!" Severa exclaimed while swinging a sword around.
Lucina slashed at a demon with Falchion, nodding in agreement. "Severa is right, Morgan is unsafe."
"Wooo!"
Lucina turned to Soleil, who was doing twirls and kicking demons. Jumping above one and tossing it with legs.
Soleil grinned, moving her hips up and down.
"Gymnastics and diving classes thank you very much!" The girl named after the sun gave a grin.
Soleil's moves caught the eyes of someone, Kiragi's eyes.
The archer stared at the blue haired princess, the heels she wore, the ponytail, her sparkling outfit.
"Woah." He said, sparkles in his eyes. "She's beautiful…."
"What did you say Kiragi?"
The boy snapped out of his trance, looking at his mother in panic.
"Huh? Oh nothing mom absolutely nothing at all everything's okay!!" The boy rapidly moved his hands around, as Kagero gave him a strange expression.
She closed her eyes. "Alright then. Come into the castle. We must defend the princess."
Kagero ran through the streets and to the castle doors, Kiragi following behind her.
"Wait up mom!"
Valla…..
In the medical room, the residents were witnessing the attacks. Beruka and Kaze standing by Midori's bedside and Felicia doing the same for Velouria.
"Oh dear, this is….not good." Jakob spoke as he stared outside the window, turning around. "Effie."
"Ready." The knight said as she picked up her shields and a silver lance. "I won't let any of them harm anybody!"
The butler smiled, as a knife came from his sleeve. "That is what I wanted to here."
"I'll go too." Dwyer said, healing staff in hand. "I can help you."
Jakob shook his head. "No, your job is to stay here and heal the others."
"But…"
"No buts." Jakob shook his head. "Let us proceed Effie."
They both ran out of the room, as Dwyer groaned. Turning to the beds he saw Midori in one bed and Velouria in the other.
Midori had bandages wrapped around a portion of her face, that claw wound would most likely never go away. Making her eye blind for the rest of her life.
Velouria's arm was wrapped in bandages around the area where she had been bitten, not to mention the bandages wrapped completely around her nose.
She would most likely be unable to smell for a very long time.
Felicia gripped Velouria's hand tightly, as she prayed and prayed.
"Please Velouria, wake up." The maid said. "I know you're hurt, but please don't die. I know! I'll go help you find new treasures when this is all over! Right?"
No response, the maid held her head in sadness.
But that sadness would not be eternal, as a window was heard crashing open.
They saw a Tongue Prowler crawling through the window, its blood red eye staring at the occupants in the room.
Beruka pulled out a hand axe and winded it back, prepared to throw it. With Kaze pulling out a shuriken of his own.
"Back away." The former assassin spoke in a cold tone.
The Tongue Prowler then glanced at Midori and Velouria, seeing the dried blood on their bodies.
It licked its mouth, slowly prancing towards the unconscious ones.
Just as the three were about to attack, the door was kicked down.
"Never fear!! For the savior of justice is here!"
Arthur stood in the middle of the door, grinning as he had a steel axe in his hands.
Beruka glared at him. "Arthur, now is not the time."
Arthur pointed his axe at the monster. "I simply can't allow you to keep terrorizing innocent people! So I will bring justice upon you!"
He then threw the axe towards the Tongue Prowler, it seemed like a clean shot from where it was going.
Before it suddenly shifted direction and crashed into the wall, as Arthur's eyes widened.
The Tongue Prowler now looked at him, its tongue swirling.
"Uh oh…" He said.
The demon was about to attack Arthur, before something crashed down the walls behind him. It grabbed the Tongue Prowler with two giant hands, the debris going away and revealing the wolfskin. Keaton.
"Keaton! That was a new wall!" Felicia exclaimed in worry.
The wolfskin turned his head. "Sorry Felic, got here as fast as I could."
He then bit into the demon, as green blood splattered out. Keaton immediately moved away his mouth, some green blood on it.
"Yuck, that tastes terrible." He said before throwing the Tongue Prowler through the wall, as it screamed in agonist while falling off of the castle.
As soon as the demon was supposedly killed, Kaze took a second to analyze the blood that spilled from the creature.
He rubbed his fingers together and examined the blood.
"What is it?" Beruka asked as she looked at the blood in her husband's hands.
The ninja turned to the former assassin. "This isn't human blood, it's green."
"S-so they're not human?" Felicia asked in fear. "There's no way they're animals though!"
"We don't know what they are." Beruka stood up and gripped her axe. "But we must eliminate them. I will take them out."
"I'll go with you." Kaze said.
Beruka shook her head in response. "No, you must stay here with Midori."
Kaze nodded. "Alright."
Beruka turned to both Keaton and Felicia. "You two, with me."
The former assassin left the room, with the other two following after her.
Dwyer slumped in a chair with his staff, his father and mother had gone off and didn't even want him in the fight. It's not like he couldn't handle his own.
He glanced outside of the window.
"I wonder if Qana's alright."
"I can't believe she said that. I can't believe I cried like a little bitch!!!"
Qana fists tightened, walking through a forest. She didn't even know where she was now, she was lost again.
She had never seen her mother so angry before, even to her. It terrified her, she had never been that terrified before. She couldn't hold back tears, and let her emotions get the better of her.
"Maybe I shouldn't have run." Qana looked down at the grass, starting to regret her decision of running away. Not only because she was now lost, but because of the guilt she felt. "I can never go back now anyways."
Then, she heard something. It almost sounded like breathing, but it was anything but human like breathing. It was almost like an animal, a big and terrifying animal that was angry.
It almost sounded like…
"A bull." Qana said to herself, as she slowly turned around.
Her eyes met the gaze of two large red eyes.
A huge pitch black bull met her eyes, it had four black horns with red tips at each one. But it wasn't even a bull, it was a bull man.
It had black fur, and some armor plated on its body and a metal mask on its face.
Qana had never seen anything like it, sure she had read something about a mythical creature that was part bull and part man. But she never expected those stories to be real.
In a flash, the princess pulled her blade out and slashed across the Black Bull's nose. It stumbled back and let out a bull cry, gripping its nose with red blood spilling out of it.
The Black Bull then glared at Qana, as it began moving its hoof back and forth. Holding its head down and pointing its horns forward.
It let out its cry and charged towards Qana, as the princess quickly jumped above it and grabbed two of its horns
The Black Bull began shaking around rapidly, trying desperately to knock Qana off of it. The princess was struggling to stay on top of it, she felt that she could be shaken off at any minute now.
She managed to stay on, as she raised up her broken sword. Stabbing it into the Black Bull's head,
After stabbing it in, she slammed her hands onto the bottom of the handle. Forcing it even deeper into the skull of the beast.
It let out a cry of pain, before falling to the ground.
Qana let out a breath, she was able to kill it before it got the chance to injure her. She put her grip on the sword, about to pull it out as the job was done.
But she noticed something, the Black Bull's nose. It was no longer bleeding, it looked completely healed. Like nothing ever happened to it.
"Wait…." Qana said, as the beast began shaking again. "Oh shit!!"
It let out a roar, almost as if nothing could kill it. It had a sword stabbed in its head but still stood, how was it even still alive?!
Qana was about to be shaken off, but something saved her.
A spear was chucked towards the ball, striking its foot.
Then Qana saw a knight run forward, he had darker skin and grey heavy armor. Wielding a large grey shield and white hair.
"I…I did it." He let out a sigh of relief, as the bull fell to the ground again, with its eyes turning pale white. He looked up towards the princess on top of the bull. "Kana? Is that you?"
Qana pulled out her broken sword and put it away, jumping down from the Black Bull's head.
"Hm? No." The purple haired princess. "That's my little sister, my name's Qana. Who are you?"
The knight nodded, bowing. "My name's Ignatius. I'm a knight from Nohr!!"
"Okay then. What are you doing out here, Ignatius?" Qana put her hands on her hips.
"YOU'RE MINE!!"
Yelled a voice, as a woman with dark skin and dressed in red and white ran forward. She had a skull helmet and white hair, wielding a giant metal club.
She ran towards the Black Bull, smashing her club against it repeatedly.
"Rinkah! Wait!"
Exclaimed a sturdy man in black heavily armor, he had dark skin and a small amount of yellow hair. He had a shield and spear of his own.
"Father!" Ignatius said. "You two arrived."
"Yeah, we're here." Rinkah said as she stopped smashing her club against the dead bull man. "Guess it's already dead. You've made your mother proud Ignatius."
Qana shook her head. "Who the hell are any of you?"
Rinkah placed the top of her club on the ground. "My name is Rinkah, member of the Fire Tribe and daughter of the chief. This is my husband Benny, and my son Ignatius. Benny's a knight of Nohr, but we live out here in the forest."
"Hey." Benny gave a small wave, as Qana felt slightly intimidated by him.
"He's kinda shy." Rinkah shrugged. "And this is Ignatius. But I'm guessing you two have already met, what's your name?"
The princess rolled her eyes. "Qana, princess of Valla. Ran away from home and I'm lost again."
"Princess eh?" Rinkah asked. "So you're Corrin's daughter, I'm guessing you're a strong warrior?"
"Yeah. I could kick your ass, I could kick anyone's ass." Qana cracked her neck.
Ignatius started shaking a bit, he could sense the rage in Qana. Her red eyes, her muscular stomach, and the fierce expression on her face.
Rinkah closed her eyes. "You've got fire, I like that."
Then a small spider crawled on Ignatius' shiulder, as the knight slowly turned his head around.
He yelled in absolute fear.
"GAAAAHHH!! Spider!!! Get it off me get it away!!!" Ignatius exclaimed as he rapidly swung his spear around.
"H-hold on Ignatius!" Benny exclaimed. "I'll try and get it."
Qana just stared at the father and son, as Rinkah let out a sigh.
"Cowardice runs in the family." The Fire Tribe member said. "Anyways we'd better get to Valla, there's demons everywhere."
Qana raised an eyebrow. "There's no way those are demons."
"No time! Let's go!" Rinkah ran, as Qana groaned. Following after her.
"Oh. It's gone." Ignatius let out a sigh of relief, with his father doing the same thing. The spider was off him, he felt at ease. "Oh! Mother!"
The two ran after Rinkah, to catch up with her.
Ylisse….
"Get away from me! Haha!"
Exclaimed Morgan, as she had a tome and was blasting demons away. Having no problem whatsoever with taking them out.
"Daughter of a master tactician here!" She grinned.
All of the demons in the room were cleared, with Morgan wiping away some of the sweat on her forehead.
"Okay Yarne! You can come out now!!"
The half Taguel came out of Morgan's closet, as he let out a sigh of relief.
"Woo. Thank goodness." He said. "I was in there all day, why am I being let out now?"
The tactician in training shrugged with a grin on her face. "Oh nothing big. We're just being attacked by demons right now and Ylisse fused with three other kingdoms. Nothing big."
"Oh okay." Yarne nodded.
After a few seconds, the cowardly Taguel's eyes widened.
"Wait what?!" He exclaimed. "Those are big deals!!"
Two giant hands soddenly slammed on the ground, catching both Yarne and Morgan's attention.
It was a small pitch black creature, but it had gigantic hands and arms. Red symbols and prints across the hands.
Morgan immediately opened up her tome, blasting flames towards the giant handed demon.
The demon simply put its hands forward, blocking the flames. No scratch left on either of its hands.
Yarne took out his beast stone, as he quickly transformed into his Taguel form.
He hesitated for a few seconds, before jumping forward at the creature. But the demon grabbed him with its giant hand and tossed him right towards Morgan in a flash.
The cowardly Taguel and young tactician were now both knocked against the wall, Yarne on top of Morgan.
The demon came walking towards them.
"Yarne! Get off!" Morgan exclaimed. "I can't reach my tome!"
"I'm trying!" Yarne said as he tried to get himself up before they could be attacked. "Eek! I don't think I can!!"
Right before the giant handed demon was about to attack them, something slashed right across the demon.
Then another slash, these super quick attacks started hitting the demon back and forth. They kept coming one after another, before it was knocked right back onto the floor.
Both Yarne and Morgan blinked, as Yarne was finally able to get up off of her and Morgan managed to get her tome and recover from being knocked down.
"W-what was that?" Yarne asked.
Then all of a sudden voices started to speak.
"We've finally arrived!!"
"Here in our home!!"
"Princess and princesses of Ylisse!"
"And survivors of the Taguel race!"
"Not to mention out skills!!"
"Don't forget our cheekiness!"
"We are…."
Then, four female Taguel's and three female Taguel's landed in front of the demon. Each of them had dark blue hair, just like Morgan and her father. The females had sleeveless jackets that looked like Morgan's coat, while the males wore thinner jackets with long sleeves.
"Harry!"
"Chloe!"
"Jayden!"
"Isaac!"
"Zoey!"
"Victoria!"
"And Panne!"
The seven did a pose, as Yarne and Morgan stared at them.
Morgan put her hands together. "I like these guys! Let me guess….you're all our children?"
The seven looked surprised, looking at each other.
"They know!" Victoria squealed.
"Guess that's already out of the way!" Jayden put his hands on his hips.
Yarne's eye twitched. "Wait so…we actually have kids?!" He turned to Morgan.
The young tactician gave a shrug. "I just guessed. Everyone else's kids are showing up. They got my coat, my hair, and they're Taguels."
The two were immediately ambushed by their seven kids, who were showering them both in hugs.
"Oh mom and dad! We're so happy to see you!" Zoey laughed.
"We missed you so much!" Harry happily sighed.
Both Morgan and Yarne were excepting their love, as Yarne was actually smiling.
"Well I guess mom'll be happy about this!" Yarne said as Victoria and Isaac were hugging him.
Morgan chuckled. "Can't believe all my kids are taller than me! And all the same age too."
There was a silence in the room, the family was just enjoying their moment together. Nothing could ruin this moment.
Except for two things.
Morgan's eyes opened. "Walt. You're all the same age."
"Yeah." They all nodded.
"Like, the exact same age."
"Uh huh."
"Did I give birth to all of you at once?"
"Uh huh." Panne nodded.
Morgan immediately shook, just the thought of giving birth to seven children at once was terrifying. But…she didn't have to worry about that right now! She wasn't pregnant.
Right?"
The other thing that would end the moment was when the large handed demon got back up, slamming its hands on the ground and letting out a yell.
The rest got into battle positions, as all seven charged towards the creature. All of them transformed into their Taguel forms, jumping onto the creature's hands. They started rapidly biting its hands, as it let out a few grunts of pain.
Morgan then got on Yarne's back, opening up a Thoron tome.
"Yarne! Initiating two in one!" The young tactician exclaimed, as Yarne nodded.
"On it." Said the Taguel, having no choice in the matter of the initiation. This was a tactic Morgan had come up during the war, where she would ride on Yarne in his Taguel form and attack Risen and other enemy soldiers with her magic.
Yarne didn't like it at first, but he grew to enjoy doing it. It made both of them better in battle, so it benefitted both.
Morgan put a hand forward, a yellow ball of energy forming it her palm.
"EVERYONE GET OUT OF THE WAY!!" She exclaimed, as all of her children jumped away.
A beam of yellow energy blasted right through the demon, going right through the creature's head.
The eyes of the demon twitched, some green blood coming down it's face. Before it fell right on its back, crumbling apart into multiple black pieces afterwards.
Morgan got off of Yarne and closed her Thoron tome. "Yikes, think I took that one a little too far!"
Everyone else turned back to their normal forms.
"Alright, we need to help the other people in this castle!" Yarne said. "Can you all managed that?"
"Yep!!!" All of his kids grinned.
"Then let's go!!" Morgan raised her fist.
Lower level of the castle….
Both Kagero and Kiragi were sneaking through the halls of the castle, they had come with the intention of helping some of the soldiers or maids in the castle.
But this hallway was completely empty, it was quiet beyond any say. Not a single other person was seen or heard.
"Where is everyone?" Kiragi asked, holding his bow and ready to draw an arrow from his quiver.
"I don't know." Kagero looked left and then right. "I presumed there were others in this castle."
Then something slithered past Kagero's nose, something pungent, and fiery.
The ninja held her nose, frowning at Kiragi. "Kiragi, that is disgusting."
The hunter turned around and faced his mother. "What? It wasn't me!"
"We are the only other people in this hallway Kiragi." The ninja continued to hold her nose. "I understand that you are human, but you are also a prince. It is rude to break wind in front of others."
Kiragi pointed at Kagero. "How do we know that wasn't you mom? You're a ninja after all! Silent but deadly!"
Kagero blushed in response. "Of course I didn't! And that is not what silent but deadly means!"
Kiragi's eyes widened, as his mother continued to lecture him he saw something creeping from behind her.
It was a slender pitch black figure, with long gray hair and blood spots all over her body. Including a mouth and a giant mace being carried by her legs.
"Uhhh mom?" Kiragi pointed behind her.
Kagero hands stayed at her hips, but both of her eyebrows raised. "What?"
"Behind you!!"
Kagero quickly turned and ducked an attack by the demon, before rolling to the side and dodging a mace slam brought down by the creature.
"Monster!" Kiragi exclaimed as he stood in fear, with the demon coming forward on its legs. The beast dragging its mace on the ground as it was chained to the weapon.
Kagero saw how Kiragi wasn't moving one bit, he must've been in a state of shock by the creature. The ninja knew what she had to do.
She jumped towards Kiragi and grabbed him, rolling on the ground and getting back up into position.
Kagero took out a shuriken, as the two stared at the demon.
The creature stared at them back, before it gave a deep smile and a giggle. The giggle was reminiscent of a little girl's laugh, as it licked its lips with a long and slithery tongue next.
"I suppose we've found out where the stench came from." Kagero threw the shuriken at the demon, who opened its mouth.
Unexpectedly catching the shuriken in her mouth, swallowing it. Kagero's eyes widened, as the demon gave her a smile.
"You have to be kidding me." Kagero whispered as she took out a flame shuriken, tossing that at a faster pace.
It ate that shuriken too, swallowing it and showing a wide grin.
The creature inhaled, inhaling a large amount of air, puffing her cheeks.
She then blew out orange air, which spread across the entire hall.
Kagero held onto Kiragi with one arm, while covering her mouth with the other one.
The ninja coughed. The smog was vile, and hot. One breath of it could make Kagero suffocate, as she closed her eyes shut.
"Elwind!"
A gust of razor cutting wind blasted in the hallway, blasting away the orange smog.
Kagero opened her eyes, as Morgan and the rest of her family were running through the hall.
"Are you two alright?" Morgan asked.
Kiragi opened his eyes too, as his mother took her arms off of him.
"Yes." She nodded. "We are alright. Thank you."
Kiragi turned around, the demon was completely gone. The archer shook his head, taking out his bow.
"We've gotta hurry back out!!" The hunter said. "Come on!"
"We're almost home! We need to hurry!"
Corrin exclaimed as he had his Yato in hands, riding on the back of Camilla's wyvern.
"I'm going as fast as I can dear!" Said the queen as her wyvern's wings flapped faster.
Her wyvern then folded its wings and dived down towards Valla, as it landed in front of the castle.
Camilla hopped off the wyvern, as she helped Corrin down.
"HEY!"
The king and queen turned around, as they saw Qana.
Being accompanied by Rinkah and Benny, as well as their son Ignatius.
The two were shocked, as Camilla ran towards her.
"Qana-bun!!" She smiled. "You're okay!"
Qana put her hand forward, pushing her hand against her mother's face.
"Piss off, I don't wanna talk to you after what you said." Qana cracked her neck. "Let's go already!"
The princess ran as fast as she could into the castle, as Camilla stared off at her daughter.
She sighed, as Corrin put a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright, we'll worry about this later."
The king then turned to Rinkah and Benny. "Thank you two for escorting her."
Rinkah smiled. "Don't mention it, come on!"
"Let go of me!"
Forrest exclaimed as he continued to be carried away by the Tenta demon. Now the two were in a forest.
Perfect.
"I will not let go of you. Know let me ask." The demon started sucking in the tentacle that he held Forrest in. "Where is he?"
Forrest opened his eyes, staring at the monster. "Where is who? What are you talking about?"
"The hybrid! We want him!" Exclaimed the Tenta.
"I don't know!"
The Tenta's eyes became red again, as he started sucking his tentacle.
"There are red spikes around my body, sucking my tentacle in will bring you into the spikes. They are laced with a deadly poison."
Forrest gripped the tentacle, trying desperately to break free from his grasp. The prince would die if the spikes touched him.
A Pegasus flew towards the beast, cutting off the tentacle that held Forrest.
"Augh! What?" The Tenta exclaimed.
Then a wyvern flew by, as its rider used an axe to cut two eyes of the monster.
"You don't need to worry now."
The one on the Pegasus was Shigure, the blond haired warrior with amber eyes.
"We've got your back!"
Exclaimed the other one, it was Percy. Shigure's little brother.
Forrest had a smile of relief. "It's good to have you both here, thank you."
"FORREST!"
The three turned to see Leo riding on his horse, Nyx riding on the horse with him and Siegbert riding another horse.
"We've found you!" Nyx said. "Now back away beast!!"
Tenta grabbed Forrest again, running into a nearby cave.
"Get back here!" Percy pointed his axe forward as he and his brother flew into the cave. The entire group following them.
Now the Tenta was inside the cave, he had Forrest in front of him and held him down with a tentacle.
The group made it inside the cage, all of them with their weapons ready.
Nyx walked forward, opening up a flux tome and putting out a hand.
"We have you cornered." The witch said. "Let my son go, or you will perish."
The Tenta put his tentacles towards Forrest, as spikes came out of them.
"I will end him. We came here to find the hybrid. And he is not here. So I will peel the skin from his bones, then chew on the flesh of his body down to the bone."
That's when the Tenta was picked up by two large brown hands, as it was picked up. Dropping Forrest to the ground.
The Tenta was then ripped right in half, being thrown off to the side.
A giant dirt monster stood above them, it had two circle eyes and a frowned mouth.
It raised its arms up, letting out a huge roar.
Before it ducked down and ate Forrest.
Leo grit his teeth. "No!!"
"We have to save him!!" Siebert yelled.
Far away….
A dark purple figure stood in the sky, with a white coat and red devil horns.
He smiled.
"Let it, begin."
He then snapped his fingers.
"Ha! Stand back!"
Nina said, as she fired off arrows. But all of a sudden she was teleported within black fog.
She was suddenly on top of Castke Krakenburg, close to her mother and father.
The two of them looked right at Nina.
"Nina?" Mozu asked.
"How did you?" Niles asked, before he suddenly saw a creature with large hands. "Nevermind! Get away you two!"
The outlaw then pushed both Mozu and Nina out of the way.
Time began moving slower.
"I won't let any of you take Hoshido!" Yelled Ryoma, cutting down demons with Rajinto.
When both he and Oboro were teleported out of the castle.
In the castle of Valla, Midori and Velouria woke up.
Midori immediately jumped out of bed, running out of the door.
"MOM!!" She screamed, as Velouria followed after her for the same reason.
"MOMMY!"
Kaze put out his hand. "Midori no!"
In the hallways of the castle, Beruka battled some of the demons. With Felicia and Keaton battling too.
Both the king and queen finally arrived back at the castle, as Qana pulled out her broken sword.
Midori appeared in the room, as she ran to her mother.
"Mom! Don't!!!" The healer yelled.
Beruka's eyes slightly widened. "Midori! What are you doing awake? You should be resting!"
Then the whole room went silent, the room felt eerie.
Midori could feel something behind her, something terrifying.
Beruka ran forward.
"MIDORI!"
The demon behind Midori put out its arms, multiple spikes blasting out.
But Beruka shoved her out of the way.
A large pitch black snake slithered near Felicia, opening its mouth up when it dived for her side.
"HISAME!!!"
"NO!!!!"
Hisame, lied on the ground. A large cut across his throat, and two large holes through his chest.
Both Hinata and Hana kneeled above their son, crying so hard.
The dirt monster was becoming smaller and smaller, as Forrest was inside of it.
"Tch, Dammit! We'll never breach through this thing's skin!"
Leo wiped the blood coming from his mouth with the back of his hand, angrily looking at the giant dirt beast.
Than dirt beast then threw its arms into the air and let out a roar, shaking the whole cave.
"We need to breach it, we need to free Forrest!" Nyx grit her teeth as she fired off blasts of dark magic at the monsters.
It hit, but didn't affect the beast at all, as it grew smaller.
"If we don't act fast, Forrest will be crushed." Shigure breathed as he deflected attacks from the other dirt monsters, stabbing his naginata into one of them.
"No! We can't let that happen!" Siegbert exclaimed as he hit another dirt monster on it's head, using a spear.
"Mf-huh. F-father, mother…."
Both Leo and Nyx's eyes widened, as Leo took out the glowing blue ball from his pocket.
"Forrest! Listen, just stay under control. Freeing you isn't out of the—"
"F-father. Ple-*cough*. Please stop."
Inside of the monster…..
It was a claustrophobic environment, Forrest was nearly crushed, the dirt pushing him towards the other side. He could barely breathe.
"What do you mean stop Forrest? Don't be foolish!" Leo exclaimed. "We're freeing you! We have—"
"Father. I w-won't make it." Forrest cough again, as his air supply was shrinking by the second. His lungs couldn't hold out much longer. "J-just kill this monster. Please, *cough* *cough*. Do it—for me…"
"No. Forrest I can't!"
"Father." Forrest coughed more and more. "Please just-do it….I don't have any time left…."
The monster shmore and more.
Forrest breathed out his last words.
"Father…mother….thank you for excepting-*cough* me….for….who I am…"
"FORREST!"
That's when the dirt monster became thinner.
The sound of bones breaking spread through the air.
Nyx and Leo were angered.
Leo the opened Brynhildr, as he put his palm out.
"DAMN YOU!" He yelled.
Trees came up from ground, piercing through the dirt monster's skin.
The trees went high, and were large, as the beast screamed in pain.
Leo let loose all of his magic, with Nyx doing the same thing.
"HOW COULD YOU?!" Nyx screamed, with both of her hands glowing dark. Blasting multiple dark orbs at the beast, smoke everywhere.
The entire cave was echoed by the sounds of magic, and the screams of two parents.
The two glared off at the smoke, until it cleared away and revealed the monster.
Who immediately crumbled and quickly melted into a pile of dirt.
The monster was defeated, but at a terrible cost.
The cost of Prince Forrest's life.
Leo threw Brynhildr to the ground and ran to the pile of dirt, as he descended onto his knees and began throwing the dirty everywhere.
"Come on! Dammit you have to be in here….don't do this to me Forrest!" Leo grit his teeth as he kept throwing dirt out of the way, hoping, no. Praying that his son was still alive.
Until he stopped, to stare at his hands.
They were red, covered in blood.
He shook for a long time, never taking his sight away from the blood in his hands.
Leo banged his hands against the dirt.
"FORRRRRREEEEEESSSTTTT!!!"
Takumi was ambushed, ambushed by two blade armed demons.
He felt a cold, steel blade against his arm. The last thing he saw, was his older brother suddenly appearing.
He felt another cold steel blade through his chest, even his heart.
Niles was grabbed by the hand demon.
And tossed right off of the castle.
As he descended, the last thing he saw was Nina trying to reach for her father. Tears flooding her eyes while Mozu did everything to hold her back.
"DAAAADDDYYY!!"
All Niles could do then, was smile.
"We don't have time Azama!" Orochi yelled, as they were inside one of the Hoshidan shrines. The diviner was carrying Mitama, she was unconscious while blood was stained on her head.
Azama turned. "Damn. I didn't expect this."
The couple then heard a primal roar, it sounded like fire.
"We have to go now!!" Orochi screamed.
"No."
Orochi was taken aback. "Excuse me?"
"No. You go." Azama gave her a smile. "Go, you fool. Now."
Orochi started to cry. "No Azama! I can't leave without you! You're going to die in the fire! It's gonna come after you! I—"
The monk out a finger to Orochi's lift, shushing her.
"Quit crying Orochi. It won't do." Azama leaned forward. "Now take Mitama and run. I doubt I'll make it, but go.
He gave her a kiss on the forehead, before pushing her away.
The monk turned around, a giant flaming figure stood over him.
He put his arms.
"Come at me now! You beast!!"
"FFFFFRRRRRSSSSFFFF!"
"NO! WAKE UP FELIC!"
"MOM!! You're fine!!"
Keaton was on his knees with Felicia in his arms, she was bleeding.
As Midori stood over her own mother, her entire leg being bitten off. And multiple black spikes impaling her body.
Excessive blood trickled from her body, as she was grasping it in pain.
"O-ow…..owww…." Felicia moaned in pain, as she was getting worse and worse every second.
"No. No no no no. Felic, come on. Stay awake, it's alright. You'll be—" The wolfskin then looked at the floor, where a puddle of blood was formed. "Shit!"
"K-Keaton. It…..it's not that bad…..r-right?" Felicia asked as she gave him a smile. "I-I think I…..I don't know if I'll be fine…."
"Y-yeah! You'll be fine, come on!" Keaton urged, he could feel tears.
"Shhh shh." Felicia put her finger to his mouth, giving a warm smile. Tears in her eyes too. "I-it's fine Keaton…..just…..let me sleep a little bit."
Felicia then closed her eyes, stopping completely.
"FELIC?! No!!" Keaton yelled. "FELICIA!!"
"MOMMY!" Cried Velouria, covering her eyes with both of her hands.
Ryoma was frozen, he had seen multiple things in his life has prince, and then king. He witnessed the birth of his siblings, the death of his soldiers, and the peace brought together with Nohr and Valla.
And now he witnessed the death of his little brother.
He saw Takumi, his younger brother lying on the ground with blood on his chest, and his arm cut off. As Kagero and Kiragi were near his body, crying.
"N-no." Ryoma stared off in shock. "I-it can't be."
"I am sorry my lord." Saizo closed his other eye and titled his head to the ground. "I am a disgrace."
Meanwhile, Kagero was sobbing into Takumi's chest. Kagero was never exactly the type to cry, but this hit her hard.
"N-no. Takumi please wake up! You can't give up like this!" Kagero cried, as her tears fell to the dead prince.
"Come on dad! Why aren't you moving?! Please dad!!" Kiragi exclaimed as he shoved his head into his father's chest.
Ryoma then fell to his knees and dropped his sword, with Saizo putting a hand on his shoulder. And Oboro shoving her head into Ryoma's arm.
Ryoma said no words. He only punched the ground and tightened his fist.
"Damn it all. Why here?!" Ryoma exclaimed as he then shouted to the sky, with tears coming down his eyes. "ARRRRGGHHHHAAAA!!"
Corrin stood still, taking in everything he just saw. He witnessed both his trusted retainer, and his wife's loyal retainer die.
All he could see and hear were the cries of Keaton and Velouria, as well as Midori's cries and Kaze doing everything he could to hold back.
"I…I can't believe this." Camilla put a hand to her chest. "My dear Beruka…Corrin…"
But Camilla let out a soft gasp, one glance at her husband was enough to turn her whole world upside down at that moment.
Corrin has a large hole through his chest, blood poured out of his whole mouth.
And he fell to the ground, blood soaking in the carpets.
Qana's mouth was wide open.
"No. No. No no no no no NO!!" The princess fell to her knees. "Why did this actually happen?! I didn't want him to actually die!!!"
"C-Corrin…" Camilla kneeled over him, put a hand on his cheek. Staring into his eyes.
They were lifeless, dead. Gone were the king's red eyes.
Camilla's whole life flashed through her eyes. All if her memories, the abuse her mother brought upon her, the arrival of Corrin. All their memories as children, when he was taken away, when he chose neither side, when they battled, married, defeated Anankos.
When they became king and queen of their own kingdom.
All Camilla could hear in the next few seconds, we're the cries of Kana and Cana.
"PAPA!!!"
"DAD!" Qana screamed.
"CORRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN!!!"
On the wall of the castle, words were written in blood.
"Long Live the King of Valla."
A funeral was held later that night for all of those who perished in the conflict.
Not to much damage was caused to buildings, but that didn't matter at all. So many had important figures of the three kingdoms had died.
The ruler of Valla, was now dead.
"And so, may the glory of Naga, and the glory of God. Bring these souls to their rest. May they fest in the skies above where they can never be tortured by the Hell, of pain."
Libra stated, closing his book.
All of the caskets were closed, being buried into the ground.
Kagero and Orochi held each other the entire time, they'd both lost their husbands. And the emotional pain was so much to bare.
Leo and Nyx watched Forrest's casket be out into the ground, right when the dirt was being shoveled in.
Nyx ran forward.
"HE ISN'T DEAD!! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!!!" The witch screamed as Leo had to hold her back. "TAKE HIM OUT OF THE CASKET!! HE'S ALIVE!!"
"NYX!!" Leo yelled. "He's dead!! There's nothing we can do! His whole body was crushed!!!"
The witch continued to yell, this was so unlike her. The loss of her son shattered her heart into millions of pieces.
Chrom stepped forward, turning to Ryoma.
"I am deeply sorry." The exalt bowed his head. "I offer my grace, for your brother and the families who have suffered."
Saizo stepped forward and glared at Chrom, balking his fist and holding up his arm blade.
"Your grace will do nothing." The red ninja spoke. "We should've never trusted you, how do we know that this wasn't even your doing?"
Soleil stepped in to defend her grandfather, hands on her hips.
"We've never seen anything like those guys! So get off my grandpa's case okay? You—"
Mars stopped his sister, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Do not sis, he has every right to be angry."
Soleil looked at her little brother, before she let out a sigh and nodded.
Many of the families went home after the funeral, no one said a single word for the rest of the night.
"Mom's asleep." Kiragi whispered. As he tucked the covers of his parents bed over Kagero, who was now asleep after crying.
Kiragi walked away from the bed and looked outside, the moon was out. It was raining too, the rain drops kept coming down hard.
"Great. Gotta have it rain on the night my dad died." Kiragi sighed as he continued looking out the window.
Mozu sat on Nina's bed with her, crying was all the two could do.
Orochi out Mitama to bed, kissing her on the forehead before leaving her bedroom.
The queen of Valla grieved all not, holding all of her children close to her.
This was truly a horrific night for each kingdom.
Soleil crawled into her bed, letting out a sigh as she adjusted the pillows and undid her hair.
She lied on the bed and stared off into space, until a girl in yellow sat on the bed and lied down with her.
Ophelia turned to the girl, giving her a smile.
"Hello Soleil."
The navy blue haired girl sighed. "Hi Ophelia, what're you doing in my bed?"
The chosen on adjusted her hair. "You're not going to hog a queen sized bed to yourself now. Besides, it could be like old times."
"Whatever. Night." Soleil turned around and closed her eyes, hoping that tomorrow would be a new day.
There was no repairing this attack, many were killed. Leaving multiple soldiers in a depressed state, what would now happen?
Oh right. Him.
"Oh geez. Oh my god."
And so we meet him again, William. Sitting next to the cross of a church.
He took out a cross of his own, wrapped around his neck as he let out a sigh.
"Why did I let this happen?" He asked himself.
Licht then appeared near him.
"I know, it's tragic Will. But it's not all doom and gloom." The demon shrugged.
William looked up. "Not all doom and gloom? Sure. Lots of demons showed up and killed so many people, it is 100% doom and gloom."
Licht raised an eyebrow. "Have you forgotten that you're half demon? Have you forgotten all of your abilities?"
"Poke."
William put a finger forward and poked him in the face, as Licht stared at him.
"What was that for?"
"I dunno." The boy in black shrugged. "But I know, that's why I'm gonna start fixing it tomorrow."
Licht gave a smile. "Don't you mean tonight?"
William returned his smile. "Cause demons can't sleep."
The two fist bumped, as William jumped onto the ground and walked through the streets of the night.
This is where we start, with the true hero of this story.
